We arrived to find that the main fridge had a sign on it saying it was being repaired; although the compartment temp was cold, the freezer was covered in ice crystals and the fridge water wasn’t working . The second fridge had no ice cube trays or water maker, and the tap water did not get cold. We had to go out and buy a bag of ice. Management responded quickly saying we could use the main fridge and were able to get cold water from it- but the ice maker never worked.
Outside the downstairs bedroom with the 2 queen beds was a pipe - dehumidifier, maybe? It dripped every night onto the light by the French doors and the concrete patio, making it noisy for sleep and possibly a trouble spot in the future.
The upstairs door to the lanai is super heavy and troublesome to latch- it would take us 5 or 6 tries before it would work.
The community pool was great but perhaps offer more than 1 key, because some of us would get there at different times and had to wait or try to contact family by phone- if they were in the pool, it was along wait.
Some of the pool floats or plastic tubes wound up having holes in them and were not usable. Perhaps check after each group to be sure they are still ok.
Some of the bikes have combination locks on them- but we did not know what the numbers were and did not want to take the bikes out and possibly have them stolen.
This does sound negative, but it really isn’t . These were issues that affected our stay on a daily basis.

The home was really lovely and spacious. We loved the lanai and outdoor spaces and having two master bedrooms made it extra special~
The kitchen was large and wonderfully well equipped,
It was an easy walk to the pool area and the adult lap pool and spa were a real plus. The bicycles and other gear in the garage made it easy for us to go to the beach. We had a perfect stay!

Our week staying Sweet Heaven was really great! The house is a stones throw away from the pool and fitness facilities which was prime with two young kiddos. The open upstairs - kitchen, dining, living room - that opens up to the patio was great for all of us to spend time together. Also, the access to the beach club is fabulous. Management was easy to contact if needed with any questions and they touched base ahead of check-in to make sure I had all of the necessary information and to answer any questions I may have had.

This home was beautiful and in an amazing location! So many fun beaches and activities nearby. We had kids ages 4-10 and this home had everything we could have ever possibly needed! Bikes, beach chairs, towels, sand toys, umbrellas, a wagon, coolers, everything! We had a perfect vacation!

Our family of 6 stayed at Sweet Paradise in February, 2023; we found it an excellent accommodation. The layout of the house gave everybody space, the lanai was perfect for outside dining, and the resort's location (outside the urban area) made it easy to go off to explore more off-the-beaten-track attractions. Sweet Pardise was by far and away our group's favourite spot while we were in Hawaii.

We had a lovely time with our adult children and their significant others. We had wonderful day trips but loved that we had the pools, hot tubs, gym, and nearby beaches when we came home or wanted a down day. The large open porch was great for both having dinner together and lounging with coffee in the morning. All together a great vacation.

Wonderful location with great club beach available and more amazing beaches a quick drive away. House is large and well-appointed, management is very responsive. Good grocery store very close by. Would be glad to return in the future.

Best house rental we've ever had! Honestly nothing wrong with it, clean, functional, great location, huge upscale home to spread out it. Would book again in a heartbeat. Loved the beach gear and bikes provided in the attached garage, they made our trip!

We are a group of 6 who decided to come to Hawaii and when we decided to go to the Big Island we were lucky enough to find Sweet Heaven. It is tucked in to a nice secluded part of the resort, the pool was a very short walk from the house. The kitchen was beautiful and very appropriately outfitted. We cooked breakfast and dinner and had no problems. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to the Big Island!!

Property is well suited for a larger family. There are loads of amenities and it’s well stocked. I chose this property because of previous reviews I had read. I’m sorry to say the cleanliness of the property was not up to par. The floors were dirty and bathroom rugs were extremely dirty. We washed those. Dust on ac vents and ceiling fans was thick. Kitchen cabinets and appliances were covered with finger prints. Found a couple of roaches under kitchen sink. This property would be wonderful if it were given a deep cleaning and carpets cleaned or replaced. I’m sorry I couldn’t leave a better review .

We stayed here for two weeks as a family of 10. The check in process and communication was great, all very easy. The house itself and location is fantastic. We had some issues with cleaning, however. Some of the bedroom sheets and towels were dirty and the oven had a layer of oil on the bottom that smoked out the whole upstairs. When we raised these issues with management they were very responsive and accommodating. They brought brand new sheets and towels over immediately. They also offered to come clean the oven, which we declined. In sum, great property and responsive management for issues that inevitably arise with these sorts of things.

We had a family group of 8. The four bedrooms and bathrooms worked perfectly for us. The amenities are excellent. We really appreciated the beach gear (snorkel, beach chairs, umbrellas, toys). The kitchen amenities are excellent- coffee grinder, rice cooker, etc.
Location was awesome- walking distance to a nice beach with beautiful sunset views.
We loved the Mauna Lani beach club- we went several times.

Home was in superb shape. Very thoughtfully stocked with everything a family with kids could need (even potty seats for bathroom). Local beach is small but great for little kids due to lack of wind or waves. Recommend. Stayed here two weeks.

It's a great spot. Clean, great location with good amenities. That said, they need a new BBQ. I'd give the current one a 3 on a 10 scale. Only one side of the burner works - an upgrade definitely needed. Other than that, I'd rent again for our 10 family member get together.

We were a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) and the rooms offered ample space. The location of the unit was very convenient to the pool. The lanai was a favorite spot to eat, play games and watch the sunset. The condo is furnished beautifully and we all slept really well on the comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed a short bike ride down to the market to pick up some essentials. Don’t miss out on using the pass provided to spend the day at the Beach Club at Mauna Lani. It was perfect for our whole group and we had all the beach supplies we needed provided at the condo (pool noodles, boogie boards, snorkels and fins for all 8 of us). Check in and check out was a breeze. Great communication during our whole stay. I wish we had known to rent a golf cart to explore more of the resort area (we didn’t have a rental car). Speaking of golf, my husband had the time of his life golfing on the course that surrounds the KaMilo condos. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Sweet Heaven Villa meet the needs of our large family of 7. The house was clean and furnished very nicely! Beds were comfy and showers were great! Loved all the goodies that were provided in the garage for our use: snorkeling gear, beach chairs, bikes, golf clubs, etc. We used the pool/hot tubs in the rec center and enjoyed them also.
Super convenient location to get to many local area attractions.
The only downside was all the construction going on around all sides of the house. Our view was of bulldozers and the work/hammering started pretty early each day.
It didn't bother us much as we were on the go most days.
Management let us get a late check out since our flight home wasn't until 9pm and that was a super nice perk!!

This was a great place to stay 9 of us stayed 10 days the place is wonderful has everything you need to have a great active vacation. The kitchen is fantastic with every item one could want to turn out gourmet dinners, beaches and shops close by. A garage full of beach equipment, golf clubs, and bikes. Highly recommend this place.
