The property management team at Maui Westside makes everything easy with a light touch to ensure you have all your needs covered without being overbearing. Everything was seamless from check-in to check-out.
The location on Kaanapali Coast is truly amazing, with endless snorkeling just a few steps from the patio door and plenty to see and do close by. Our condo was very well appointed with all of the necessary conveniences plus a few bonus amenities (like a bag of coffee on the counter and beach chairs in the closet) making our stay even better than advertised.
Having a floor-level unit is incredibly convenient for beach and pool access. No stairs or elevators to deal with, just straight in and out of the room like it was home. Honua Kai staff were abundantly pleasant, parking was close and easy (and free!). All in all, it was a perfect stay and we can't wait to come back.

This condo was perfect for our family. One bedroom on the first floor with a back patio and lawn. We loved the quiet back area and room for our son to run around and be outside. The resort is kept up nicely with multiple pools, lazy river, kids slide and adult pool. Easy to get drinks and food at Drakes on the property and also a nice walking path along the beach. The Westin is next door so you can change up where you eat and bars nearby. We also walked to the shopping area about a mile away on the walking path. Great location for a family trip. Would highly recommend if you are looking for your own space with a kitchen and amenities but also some of the benefits of a resort (pools, bar, towels, etc).

When we arrived, there was plastic, orange construction fencing blocking us from walking out onto the patio, the dining table on patio was covered with a plastic tarp, and TWO CRANES with workers were literally right outside the sliding glass window. The property management company was AT BEST misleading about the "chance" of construction throughout the booking process. We left the condo/resort and stayed elsewhere as soon as we could. The management company did fully refund us for the nights we didn't stay there and provided a discount for the nights that we did. Had we known this situation is what we were paying for, we NEVER would have chosen this unit or this resort. So many other options.

Absolutely loved our stay. Our family of three enjoyed the ground floor condo, right by the beach (maybe only a one minute walk) and you can hear the waves roaring all day. The amenities were outstanding and the condo can equipped with everything we needed. A pack and play and a high chair was even provided for us. The condo was very clean (except the shower and sink could use a deep scrub scrub) but overall very clean. There were only 3 large plates available for some reason but since there was only three of us it was ok. For a larger group it may be a problem but perhaps one broke before we arrived. Overall, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. When we walked in it smelled fresh and airy and the linens and bed was very cozy. Tile throughout made the stay even better and so easy to clean up any sand dragged in from the little one. Absolutely loved our 10 day stay and will be back again! Food options are great and lots of things close by. Communication was a breeze with westside properties. Thanks again!

We stayed nine nights in this unit. We love Honua Kai. This condo was in a great location for easy access to pools, beach, bbq and bonus...coffee shop. The ground floor unit was great for kids - 6 & 8. The kids liked the Synthetic grass since it wasn't dirty and wet. Unit was adequately stocked for basic cooking. We were missing a few basic items and called the management company and they restocked quickly. Very friendly! The pull out couch's foam mattress is very comfortable---An older adult slept there nine nights with no issues. Chances are we will try to rent this unit again!

We had a great time. Check-in was easy and quick and the Honua Kai was more than what we expected-it's more like a resort than a condo building. Our room was in a great location- close to the pools, beach, easy access to the parking garage, and concierge area. The coffee shop on-site was great and it was nice having Duke's just a few steps away. The only thing I'd point out is that the dryer in the unit does not have a vent, so our clothes never really got dry. On the second to last day I discovered a coin-operated dryer down the hall, so I used that.

NAYS: Issue of other renters throwing debris from above you (Lanai sweepings). No snorkel gear, Tommy Bahamas chairs or "quality" kitchenware like other rentals we have done. Location is great and very convenient for pool and BBQ’s. The warm Maui sun does feel great on the artificial grass also We would return to the unit though.
