We loved our vacation in Kauai and especially the condo and property. The proximity to North Kauai's beaches, Hanalei, The Na Pali Coast Trail, Princeville and Kilauea was great.
Paul was a great host with good communication about the condo.

This property is beautiful and is in a great location. We only had 5 full days in Kauai and we knew we wanted to stay on the north shore since that is where we were mostly exploring. This made a great base for me, my husband and my 2 kids (ages 12 and 18). One day we did drive to other side of island to see Waimea Canyon but it didn’t seem that far and we were back by the late afternoon. From the condo you can hike down to Hideaway Beach which is steep if you have mobility issues but otherwise easily doable. We also went next door to 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay to enjoy their beach and restaurants. The condo is within easy driving distance of Hanalei Bay , a grocery store and restaurants in the north. While we were there we enjoyed snorkeling cruise on Napali coast, hiking first few miles of Kalalau trail, and riding in a helicopter - all within short drive of condo.
The condo was a good layout for our family and the kitchen is well stocked. We had lots of room to spread out. Wish it hadn’t been as warm as it was to sit outside during the day because the balcony has a beautiful view but we did enjoy it in the evenings for the sunset!
This is a beautiful property that we will rent again if we ever blessed enough to come back to Kauai!

We stayed on both the north and south shores of Kauai on our trip ... We highly recommend the Princeville area, and this condo is a big reason why. It was a perfect fit for us. The views and the amenities were spectacular. The hosts were very attentive too.

We had such a fantastic time staying here in Kauai - everything was seamless! Enough can't be said about the owners; Paul was so quick to answer all of my questions (both prior to and during our stay) and went out of his way to make our visit outstanding! Everything in the condo was as pictured, the views were stunning, the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need for cooking, and the unit was stocked with everything we'd need for the week.
We liked the location - right in Princeville for groceries and some restaurants, a quick (though steep) walk to our favorite beach of our vacation (Hideaways Beach - the path is just outside the condo, amazing snorkeling and gorgeous views!) and a great walking/running path right outside. We ended up driving to Hanalei every day for its amazing restaurants, fun shopping and more beaches, which was only 12 minutes away, so we felt very centrally located for all of the things we wanted to do. We can't wait to come back!

The condo and the views were amazing! We will definitely be returning to Kauai and staying for a longer time in THIS condo! Stop searching for condos in Princeville because they don’t come any better than this one… beautifully furnished, breathtaking views, immaculately well kept, and stocked with anything you may need. The owners have thought of everything!! If I could rate the condo above a 5, I would!!

The condo is lovely with an amazing view. My daughters and I throughly enjoyed our stay. The "walk"down to Hideaway Beach is an adventure, but totally worth it :). Big shout out to the hiking pole which came in handy for my hike in Ha'ena State Park!

Fantastic condo in an upscale development on the north shore. Paul's place was as depicted on VRBO. The kitchen was well stocked with nice appliances and cookware, along with a well stocked spice cabinet. unique artwork abounds.
My only issues was the onsite property manager did not respond to two calls and and a text during our stay. Fortunately it did not cause a big problem as I just needed some clarification. The propterty was in tip top working order. Thank you Paul for to beautiful place you provided us.

It was an incredible place to stay! The ocean views are breathtaking and then mountains out the front door. Everything was spotless with all the conveniences of home. Kitchen was well-stocked. We saw whales from the balcony. It was a very peaceful getaway!

Unless you’re camping out in the Na Pali Coast, there is no better sunset view in the island. This was our 6th time in Kauai, and 4th time staying at PuuPoa. And still remains our favorite place on the island to stay. This unit was fantastic, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and had all the amenities needed…. and the AC was an added bonus. Always recommend Hideaway Beach (even though it’s no longer the hidden gem it used to be); it’s still one of the best snorkeling spots in Kauai. We had a swim with turtles every morning- can’t beat that!!!
We spent our days roaming the island, but always returned for sunset dinner on the Lanai!!! Always a magical experience!!!

My family of 4 had a great time here. I’d done the research and knew what I was getting into - the only question was whether the listing and reviews were going to be accurate. I’m happy to report everything was as expected - maybe even better than…. The views were awesome. We loved the beach and scrapped plans to explore others on different days. Note the beach is very hard to access due to the steep slope and stairs so not good for young kids or people with mobility issues.
The unit was plenty of space for us to stretch out and relax. Most inortsntly, the kitchen was completely decked out which we love as we cook a lot. I can’t stand a vrbo with crappy knives and a mismatched set of pots and pans but everything was 100% top quality and every gadget you could hope for.
Easily one of the best vrbos we’ve used.

The Puu Poa condo was a wonderful place for us to stay with our sister-in-law. The home is beautifully furnished and well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. Aside from enjoying the gorgeous ocean views from the large balcony and the beautiful beaches adjacent to the property, we also took long walks around Princeville every day.
We would definitely stay here again!

This is hands down the most comfortable Rental we have stayed in. The owners have decorated their home with very nice (and comfortable) furniture and fully stocked the kitchen with everything you might need. Not to mention the location is amazing. The views from the condo are stunning and are visible everywhere aside from the second bedroom. My favorite areas were the sunroom (great breeze and ocean sounds with the giant windows open) and the huge patio. We will definitely try to stay here again next time. Highly recommend!

We were hoping to find a location with an ocean view, plus proximity (listen to the surf), a pool, a kitchen (my wife is vegan, so we planned on cooking a good portion of our meals). This property had it all. Clean, with a well stocked kitchen with cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. we had a wonderful stay, and I cannot think of anything that was missing.

The pictures don’t do the property justice. The property is impeccable, the views of the ocean are extraordinary, and the location is perfect. The property is as close as you can be to Hideaway Beach, very close walking distance to Hanalei Bay, and walking distance to Queens Bath. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to get back!

We had a wonderful time! The condo is in a superb location, views off the patio of waves, sunsets, paddle boarders, sailboats, and a very short walk down to hideaways beach. Condo has everything you need to be perfectly at home, and owner Paul was responsive and helpful from the first time I contacted him. I would highly recommend this property and we hope to stay there again!

We loved our stay at this lovely, beautifully appointed home. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable in every particular: a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of seating inside and on the lanai, comfortable beds, and bathrooms with ample storage space. The views are amazing in this light and bright home - and it’s easily accessible for hauling luggage and groceries from the parking lot (only seven steps!). From start to finish this was a 10/10 experience. Thank you and we hope to return soon!

The weather wasn't the best while we were in Kauai so we spent more time inside than we planned and this was the perfect spot to do that. It has everything you could possible want - from beach toys, tennis rackets, and guide books (if the weather behaves) to Bose speaker, Netflix, games, and books if the weather doesn't behave. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook there (which we did for most meals). The view is spectacular and the way the lanai is laid out, it feels very private. There was a really nasty wind storm our first day and the owners checked in on us to make sure everything was ok.
Beginning to end, it was the perfect place.
