The property was exactly as listed. No surprises or issues. Had a great 3rd Anniversary stay. Enjoyed the view from both the living room and bedroom. The couch and bed were both extremely comfortable. The extra toiletries were much appreciated as we forgot to pack them. The property was beautiful and quiet which is what we wanted and needed. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Maui. Kudos to the owner for such a great place to stay.

If you're looking for a property with a great location and great view look no further. This property is located on the 2nd floor of the building with absolutely breath-taking views. While the pictures are accurate what see in reality is even better with floor to ceiling windows. Right on the water with views of the ocean and sea life (watched sea turtles bob up and down from the lanai all trip).
There's a lot of food trucks in walking distance that we hit up multiple times and a grocery store right across the street (no need to go to Costco by airport).
A very short drive to Whaler's Village which has lots of shopping and food options (along with free parking) and can walk up and down the beach path to spend the day.

Overall, the property is exactly as advertised. Clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Plus, it is hard to imagine finding a place closer to the ocean. Location is also very convenient to Lahaina, Kapalua and many restaurants, services, and beaches. Communication with property manager, Holly, was excellent every step of the way. Would highly recommend!

We reserved this property because of the pictures - the view, and location appeared amazing. Upon arriving, the reality was even better than the pictures. THE VIEW!!! Entering the condo, you open the door, and in front of you is a wall of glass and the Pacific Ocean right behind it. It could just as easily been a view from a cruise ship. FURNISHINGS. Well done, comfortable, contemporary and beachy. SUPPLIES AND AMENITIES. I told Holly, the owner, in a text that I want her to come organize my house. She has thought of everything. You don't even need to bring a toothbrush if you choose. Coffee, cleaning supplies, shampoos, lotions, washer and dryer with detergent. It's all there. Just pack your swim stuff, your exploring stuff, and your going out to dinner stuff and you're good to go. The condo also has beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, even BoFlex dumb bells. The vibe of this resort is great as well. It's clearly been there a while, but upon entering the lobby of Mahana, you get that 60's comfortable vibe, with Hawaiian decor, koa wood, and walls of lava as accents. The pool is basic, but it's really all you need. On the first day, I somehow messed up the remotes for the flat screen tv (by the way, there are two of them!) I texted Holly, who responded immediately and graciously, and we worked it out. She's someone who really cares about her guests. Don't hesitate to book this place (but not when I want to go back, please). It's a wonderful experience.

Nothing is misrepresented. It was truly amazing. Amazingly appointed with pictures to show how things are stocked, work out equipment, high end stocked kitchen to amazing colors and decor. The condo is exactly as described and the photos don’t do it justice. The views are stunning in general, but absolutely show stopping during sunset. Even in April, we saw countless whales from the balcony while enjoying our coffee or evening cocktails.
The condo is well stocked, the amenities are lovely and the location is perfect with lots of local restaurants and shopping near by.
We will 100% recommended this location to friends/family and return ourselves in the future. An absolute 10/10!

We loved this condo. It was right on the beach and the views were amazing. We could see whales and turtles from the porch. Short driving distance to restaurants. The place was very clean. We spent more nights at the condo but also stayed at the Hyatt so that we could also get a resort experience. The Hyatt was great but the condo view could not be beat. Highly recommend staying here.

Our second stay at this 5 star luxurious condo with every
creature comfort & able to whale watch from lanai, bedroom, dining & living room! Sparkling clean, supplied with all beach needs (snorkel, chairs, umbrella, cooler - all in excellent condition), as well as bathroom/personal hygiene items (tooth brush & paste, shavers, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, sun block, really anything you could ever need). Comfy bed, very comfy couch, great big screen TV's. Extremely responsive and kind owner.
Kitchen also supplied with all excellent condition equipment and supplies. IMHO it just doesn't get any better than this. We'll be back again!

I’ve always loved the location of the Mehana because it’s one of the older condos developed in the area which makes the location better than most. There’s no boardwalk between you and the ocean and you can enjoy the view without people walking through the property the unit was exceptional. The owners have great taste, and the quality is remarkable. Everything was perfect here. I hope to come back soon, I enjoyed my daily walk and there are food carts within a couple blocks Mahalo

We loved staying in this unit! It is well updated and fully stocked. Did have a bit of construction noise during the day from the unit next door and repairs in the front, however we knew this was going to be happening. Definitely would stay in this unit again.

This condo surpassed our expectations. The view was stunning. We could watch surfers, turtles and seals right from the lanai! The sunsets were beautiful.
The location is perfect. The beach is easy to access from the property. We had to walk a couple hundred meters to find a clear spot to walk in the beautiful ocean. Some fun waves to jump and boogie board. Snorkeling was fun. Water is very clear.
You are close to the boardwalk which takes you all the way to the Whaler’s village! There are restaurants, food trucks and grocery stores within walking distance. There is a rental car company within walking distance also.
The balcony was so intimate and perfect for reading, enjoying your coffee or even star gazing at night. Definitely a beautiful condo with everything you need to make this a place you want to come back again! A true gem of a place!

This condo was perfect for me and my wife. Very nice and clean as well as having all the amenities one would need on vacation. Location was very private and provided great views while also being close to various restaurants, shops, a grocery store, and a food truck park. This condo was excellent. It’s in walking distance to many restaurants, food trucks, and a grocery store. The room itself has an amazing view, AC, and has literally everything you could ever need. We really enjoyed the pool and the 30 second walk to the beach. We’d love to come back again!

This was a great VRBO find on the west side of Maui. Close to food and shopping, easy access to the beach, and stocked to the brim with everything you could need to take a day trip on the road to Hana, explore beaches on the coast, or just relax by the pool for the day. First off, how can you not love this property straight from the get go with the stunning views, nice decor and great location?!?!
But what sets it apart from above the rest is how prepared Holly makes the place! You feel at home, she literally thinks of everything to help keep you prepared on your vacation and nails the details!! What really was the cherry on top of the vacation was the quick communication for anything we needed. Holly was so fast to respond and so, so genuine! 100% would stay here again and it was the perfect getaway spot for me and my husband while we celebrated our honeymoon!

We couldn’t have asked for a better location - walking distance to Kaanapali beach area, a 12 min drive to Lahaina shops and restaurants. But the condo itself was overlooking the Pacific - about 50 feet from the water. We could see sea turtles from the balcony. Beach was a little rocky getting into the water right by our beach access, but just walk a minute south and you can walk right in. Don’t forget your snorkeling gear, beach chairs and boogie board (all provided by Holly) and you’ll get to see plenty of the reef and fish.
At Holly’s condo you will have perfect sunset views each day through the floor to ceiling windows and wake up to surfers riding the waves.
From bathroom necessities to kitchen gadgets and accessories, the condo is fully stocked with everything you might need - including straightener and curling iron, sunscreens and lotions, and first aid supplies. Holly’s thought of everything you might need.
The condo resort itself was nice and well taken care of, they’re in the middle of some exterior building updates, but we were hardly in the condo during the day to be disturbed. The pool was never to busy to hop in and there are several areas to grill if you feel like it. We ended up eating out most meals besides making breakfast at the condo just because there was so much nearby, including the food truck lot that is great to grab food and watch the sunset at the condo.
We wish we could have stayed longer in Maui, there was just so much to do and Holly’s place was a perfect spot to make our home for the week! I’ve already recommended it to friends looking to visit Maui.

Thought when we found this listing that it may be too good to be true, but everything was exactly as described. Great, clean space in which the host as made nearly every amenity possible available. Holly's property is beautiful. We were only able to stay for three nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. What a great way to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary. The icing on the cake was getting a chance to see spinner dolphins right from the lanai. This house had everything you could ever need, including binoculars! Another reviewer mentioned that you do not even realize there are other people around. We would love to come back sometime in the winter to see the whale migration. Many thanks to Holly for a wonderful stay in Maui!

Holly’s place was amazing! The condo was extremely clean, with a beautiful view of the ocean. I loved eating dinner on the lanai while watching the sunset. There were also very thoughtful touches, including toiletries, beach chairs, umbrellas, scuba gear, and even ziploc bags in the kitchen (perfect for packing beach day snacks). Holly was also very responsive to any questions I had. I will be back the next time I’m in Maui!

We had a phenomenal stay at Holly’s Condo at Kaanapali Shores. The condo itself was gorgeous with a beautiful view, very clean, and extremely well stocked (this was an absolute lifesaver when our luggage was a few days late getting here, along with the in suite laundry!) Holly was responsive to messages and really went above and beyond for us! The location of the condo is excellent, next to beautiful beaches and close by to Lahaina. Exactly as advertised. New renovation and a stones throw from the beach on the second floor. Views are spectacular. Very close to Kaanapali/ Kapalua/ shops etc. beach gear and snorkeling gear is included, lots of other beaches close by to snorkel as well. Awesome place!

The floor to ceiling views of Kaanapali were breathtaking. I loved watching the sun rise and set from the condo. This place truly has everything. We loved having beach chairs, workout equipment, a kitchen stocked with coffee and tea. The condo seriously has everything you could ever need, and we were sad to leave.

My husband and I were travelling for the first time since the pandemic and naturally were anxious! However the moment we entered Holly's gorgeous condo, we were put at ease. The apartment was sparkly clean and the views are spectacular from the second floor. She has thoughtfully provided all the little things one would need on a beach vacation ( including beach stuff, skin & hair stuff). We were so happy to find some of the same brands we use at home! We fell in the love with Maui and her condo so much we actually decided to extend our trip for 3 more days! Unfortunately, her place was fully booked! But we cannot wait to be back here! Holly’s condo was great. Exactly like the pictures and description. The location is right in the beach and the complex has good amenities - bbq, lounge chairs, shuffleboard, pool, and helpful staff. We were also right down the beach from some great restaurants. We were concerned about going to Maui in the midst of the pandemic, but we really didn’t miss a beat. Restaurants and shopping were open, the beaches were, too. It was actually nice because nothing was crowded. We didn’t have to wait for anything. We HIGHLY recommend going to Maui and staying at Holly’s condo. We’ll be back!

Over the years we have stayed in a number of condos always at the Mahana. Holly’s is by far our favorite! It was very comfortable, incredibly well stocked with all the things you need, quiet, and spectacular view. There is even gym equipment (weights etc). The simple lines of the furniture and decor allow the ocean to be the main presence. Perfect! Thank you Holly.

I defy anybody to find a better spot on Maui for the money. The condo is impeccably decorated and has everything you need. Th location is quiet, but close to Lahaina and Kapalua. Whales and turtles outside your window along with stunning sunsets. Do not waster your time looking elsewhere, this is the best spot on Maui.

This condo was amazing. Holly has provided so many things for her guests, including snorkel gear that we were able to take down to the beach and see some beautiful fish and coral! I enjoyed being able to see the ocean from anywhere in the condo. The whales were active and we could just watch them from the bed in the mornings. Our whole stay was fabulous!

Apart from the exceptional views, the care taken by the owner before, during and after our stay was superb. Enormous attention had been taken in preparing anything we might need for our visit, making it easy for my wife and I to quickly settle down and enjoy our vacation to the fullest. On being asked about gyms nearby, I received a full breakdown of potential places to go and the owner went so far as to by a bowflex set, yoga mats and stretch bands for our use. The photos don't lie. This place has a beautiful view no matter which window you look out. We enjoyed our stay and the Condo had everything we needed. With the kitchen being fully stocked with cooking utensils, we enjoyed eating in as much as we did going out. We loved being so close to the beach. The sunsets were fantastic. My husband and I have stayed in Maui at least 8 or 9 times. Hotels and Condos. The Mahana is by far our favorite complex. More of an Old Hawaiian charm with all ocean views and beautiful grounds. Holly's unit is by far the best we have stayed in. Our experience with Holly was wonderful. She really cares about your experience in her home and is very attentive and personable. Her home is top quality. Beautiful furniture, warm and inviting, and very tastefully decorated. Top quality appliances and all the kitchen items you need. We loved eating in as much as going out. The bath had toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, band aids, razors, curling iron, flatiron, in addition to hairdryer. Umbrellas, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, cooler, fins, snorkel gear, tennis racquets and I could go on and on. It is the best appointed property I have been in. Plenty of storage space for clothes and personal items. Spent two weeks there and had a hard time leaving. My husband and I honeymooned to Hawaii in August and loved every minute! We chose Holly’s condo based on the pictures and amazing reviews. Let me reassure you that it is everything you see in the photos and more! When we opened the condo door, the view literally took our breath away. Holly has thought about everything in the condo, ensuring that her guests have all necessities needed for their stay.
We were in Maui while Hurricane Lane was approaching. Holly went above and beyond to ensure that we were safe and well taken care of. She gave us local contacts if we needed to evacuate and made sure we had plenty of supplies in case of a power outage. She messaged us on a daily basis to make sure we were okay. This is the kind of care that Holly has put into, not only her condo, but also her guests.
There is a view from every room in this condo! Everyday, we watched 3 sea turtles float around and were amazed by the beautiful sunsets!
Definitely book this condo! It is by far the nicest place we’ve stayed. Thank you, Holly, for an amazing week! We WILL be back!

This was our 30th anniversary celebration! We actually started planning this back in February and from that point Holly was incredibly helpful in every way! We actually talked about booking this place again! Maui was as gorgeous as ever but in staying in Holly‘s condo sealed the deal! The condo was absolutely gorgeous it was supplied with everything we needed!! The view from his condo is absolutely stunning! When we first walked in I couldn’t get my breath it was that beautiful! Perfect location the Times grocery store is within walking distance, Dukes restaurant was also within walking distance great food great atmosphere !! We had plans to go to Molokini and didn’t do it because there was awesome snorkeling right off the condo !!! We actually landed and headed straight to Cosco grabbed a few things – – a little sidenote we rented our car through Costco and it was super cheap doing it that way – – and then headed to the condo very easy to find!! I think we covered just about everything we did the road to Hana, the old Lahaina luau, went to the top of Haleakala for the sunrise, headed north to the blowhole, Paia, Lahaina flew to Honolulu to visit Pearl Harbor and Waikiki Beach,etc., but sitting in the condo and enjoying the view was incredible!! Holly, thank you so much for being such a gracious host!!

This, by far, was the nicest place we've ever stayed. Holly has truly thought of everything. The condo was spotless and the view, well I'm sure there are no words to accurately describe it. My favorite part was leaving the bedroom door open a bit at night so we could sleep to the sound of the surf. And the bed...blistfull...and I'm picky. Or maybe my favorite part was drinking coffee on the lanai in the mornings. Even the couch is comfy. The beach directly in front had turtles and the huge expanse of golden sand to the left was perfect for swimming or simply walking on. There's a boardwalk at the complex next door that goes on forever but it isn't directly in front of the condo so it makes it quieter--more peaceful. The pool area is beautiful and they have outside grills if you choose. There are plenty of lounge chairs if you want to relax and get some sun. Duke's, a lovely oceanfront restaurant, is next door and they take reservations if you want somewhere close to eat. The place is amazing and if you plan on staying in Maui, look no further. This condo is a welcome version of home away from home. On a side note, I found the locals on Maui to be very friendly and helpful and Julia's banana bread next to the blowhole really is the perfect accompaniment to morning coffee. Thank you Holly for the time and effort it must have taken to accomplish such a sanctuary.
