Condo is as advertised. We really enjoyed sitting on the veranda for morning coffee and watching the sunset. The only reason I rate it a 4 instead of a 5 is we were harassed by an older couple in the unit below us for being noisy. We have traveled extensively for many years and are always respectful of our neighbors. Since we arrived from the mainland the night before we were all awake at 5 the first morning. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and spoke in hushed voices. That afternoon we got a noise complaint from the management company. The next day as we left the condo at 7:30 AM we started the dishwasher. That afternoon we got a message telling us to review the house rules and this was a final warning. Not the kind of thing you want to hear on vacation. I will admit when I was signing the long fine print contract I just scanned and sighed it. I was a bit taken aback when I saw absolutely no operation of dishwasher, washer, dryer, or vacuum before 8AM, yet there was very loud lawnmowers and weedwackers at 7 AM. If anyone is coming with a family be advised pool rules state No inflatables in pool and absolutely NO MARCO POLO.

What a stay! The view of Lanai and west Maui from the balcony is amazing morning or night. The furnishings, appliances, and art give a contemporary island vibe that make for a very relaxing stay. The cool A/C after a long day at the beach helped, too. A short walk to Kamaole III beach with sea turtles swimming by in waist-deep water. Restaurants, shops, and beaches of Kihei and Wailea are all within a 10-minute drive. The lagoon pool was a nice respite from the sand when needed. I would absolutely book this condo again. Hope we can make it back next year.

Over the years, we have stayed in A-207 numerous times and the experience has always be A-1! Was my wife's fave. This stay was bitter-sweet because we were there during the Lahaina fire. This property was wonderful. It was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. The layout was spacious for my husband, me and our 13 year old daughter. The only minor detail to know is the loft upstairs is open to the below living quarters. It was a big space for our daughter but she did say she could hear everything when we were downstairs getting coffee and breakfast ready in the morning. She didn’t mind since we were all getting up around the same time. But it’s good to know if you have different schedules and light sleepers. The second pool is worth the little extra walk. It’s not that far but the landscaping and hot tub is well worth the extra 2mins. The beach is right across the street. We took the bird sanctuary trail and saw tons of sea turtles down by the rocks. Everything we needed was only a 5-10drive into Kihei or Wailea. Restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. Perfect sunset view in the perfect spot in town. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place was great—very close to the beach and near shopping and places to eat. I give this place 5 stars overall. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have coffee included to brew, but this is not enough to dock any points. This really was a great place to stay.

We appreciated the short walk to the beaches and the ability to catch the Redline rafting tour from the boat ramp across the street. The condo complex is close enough to shops and restaurants for convenience but far enough to enjoy the quietness that we preferred. The condo had all the amenities as described and would recommend to others in the future. Our only comment for improvement is refreshing of the bath towels which had a musty smell. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Nice to have a condo with a great lanai view. Having it fully stocked with beach chairs and a cooler is a huge plus. Beds were super comfy!Cons: washer smelled like mold, ceiling fan needs a good cleaning and beach umbrella was broken. Despite unit being clean overall, the unit lacked a fresh cleaning smell and because of the smell factor I gave it 3 stars.

Maui Kamaole is a quiet, clean 1980s style condo development on the south end of Kihei (the quieter end), approx 2-3 blocks from Kamaole Beach III. Kihei has a very relaxed vibe - especially on the south end - but is only 5-15 minutes drive to many restaurants, shops, several beaches, surf lessons/rentals, and then jumping off to lots of other places around Maui.
The unit itself has a nice assigned parking spot (no extra on-site charge) and an easy entry up a flight of stairs. The unit main floor has been remodeled and has a light, airy vibe. Comfy living room, big windows with a full view of the ocean, nice lanai which could use chaise lounge sort of chair. Spectacular whale watching sunrise to sunset every day. Kitchen is full of everything needed to cook, including random spices, teas, oil, vinegar - whatever other guest left behind. Note - the kitchen does not have an oven (no issue for us as we did only breakfast and lunch at home). BBQs all over the property, which we personally did not use. Larger stacking W/D for doing laundry. Big bedroom on the main floor with loads of closet space and a small back patio. Upstairs primary bedroom was not remodeled and could use a refresh of the linens, both the comforter and the bathroom towels. However, the bed was VERY comfortable. Of note: the upstairs bedroom is a loft with shutters, so you have visual privacy but not a lot of noise barrier if someone is downstairs in the living room watching TV, etc. The upstairs bathroom is the retro 1980s style, but large and functional.
Insider's tips: Go to Sugar Beach (~15 min north) in the morning for amazing malasadas and other yummy treats, but get there early. Lots of food trucks near Kamala Beach - a big courtyard and a nice garden eating area behing the food truck court. The food trucks are not necessarily less costly than a restaurant, but lots of great food and COVID-safer open air dining.
Overall, this was a GREAT condo and I'd definitely rent again. Two thumbs up from the whole family, including my two tweens.

Nothing short of fabulous! Perfect location across from Kamaole Beach, where all the tourists and natives go to whale watch and play in the gentle surf. Great launching spot for Road to Hana, Lahaina, Kaanapali, and Kapalua. Just South of Kahului Airport. And walking distance to central Kihei, a mellow community featuring Paia Fish Market, a must-dine spot. And don't miss the vender market behind Paia's. More goodies than you can imagine at excellent prices. As for the condo, it was great! Contemporary, clean, well-equipped, and killer porch with retractable awning for 180* views of the water, which were alive with whales on our early February visit. The tropical grounds around the condo were impeccably maintained; loved the native free-ranging chickens! We will definitely be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo over the New Year holiday. The unit is well maintained and clean. Beautiful view of the ocean from the patio. Well located in south Kihei, just across from the boat launch dock. The complex is nicely secluded, just up a small hill and set off a bit from the road. We would stay there again.

Air condition marginal. Had numerous calls to mgr to try get fixed. Don’t believe vbro is forthright on pricing. Cleaning was marginal. Earring under bed from other group. Dust bunnies under bed and in corners. Webs and spiders in corner. Tv never did understand. Microwave difficult also.

The condo is just as advertised. It is lovely and everything inside worked well. The complex has a nice pool near this condo and a gorgeous pool further deep into the complex. The beach is a short (steep) distance from the condo. I would recommend.

Really enjoyed this condo, it was very clean and had great views of the ocean. Ac worked really well and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The only complaint we had was the construction on south Kihei Rd, it was right in front of the condo and was extremely loud everyday. But we understand that was out of everyone’s control. Otherwise, really enjoyed our stay here.

Transaction was smooth, clear and concise arrival instructions, great communication. Pride of ownership shows throughout, updated and nicely appointed with comfortable furniture and beds. Unit was clean upon arrival. A/C worked very efficiently. Well stocked with drinkware and cooking/eating utensils, etc. Neighbors were friendly and courteous, location was perfect. We had such a wonderful time spending time with our family in Maui, and staying at this unit was like the icing on the cake. We had everything we needed right in the unit. Each morning, we enjoyed coffee on the balcony.
My husband, who could be mistaken for the Princess and the Pea character, remarked on how comfortable the bed was. This is HIGH PRAISE!

The furniture on the lanai is very uncomfortable and the chair legs are constantly falling off. The beach chairs are dirty and torn/ripping apart. The beds are very soft and you can feel their age/wear. The small amount of TV we watched, the speaker is hard to hear and the TV is dated. We'll be looking at alternative units that have more comfortable seating/bedding next time we go.

Great location for walking access to keawakapu and kam 3. Bit less hustle and bustle than condos farther north on kihei rd. Great lanai view from this unit - tho you get a bit more traffic noise as a tradeoff for being in the front row building. Good stockpile of beach gear included. No oven if that matters to you.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at #A207, Maui Kamaole. The condo was clean, the beds were comfy and everything worked fine. The sunsets were beautiful and we even spotted a few Wales. Across the street is a boat launch so we watched some beautiful boats come in an out. The pools were nice, never had a problem finding a chair. We would definitely consider staying there again! Thank you very much!

Clean, well kept and very simple condo. Close to so many activities. Our dives and Molokini excursions left from the Kihei boat launch across the street. Great views from the deck. Great beaches. Highly recommend it to anyone. FYI keep the shower windows closed when not showering as the exhaust from the AC unit blows directly into the bathroom and heats up the upstairs fast. Enjoy.

Great location, easy walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We only rented a car twice for the day to see some sightings. Uber works great when needed and we used the public transportation a couple times. Pools and grills were great. Also have recycling containers close to each group of condos.

This property is has two king beds and plenty of linen and beach supplies. They have 4 beach chairs, floaties, boogie boards and umbrellas for you to take to the beach which is a great touch. The kitchen is a great space to cook in and relax. The bathroom sinks got clogged up during our visit and we had to contact the rental company and they were extremely fast in their response and it was fixed very quickly. Some of the other qualms that I had about the property which can be fixed easily are that their dishes had residue food on them. It is hard to see if dishes are actually clean especially if the previous renters put it away. But, we had to rewash everything before using it which was cumbersome. Some of the towels were also not properly washed or dried so they got smelly just after a day of use, they probably just need to be replaced with new towels is all. Overall, the property is a lovely calm space to stay at and the rental company is extremely responsive with your concerns! I would recommend it for other guests.

We loved staying at this condo. It was very clean and comfortable for two couples. Walkable to the beach and the chairs and umbrellas were very useful. No oven but the microwave has convection oven capabilities. We ate out for dinners so this wasn’t an issue for us. Great lanai for watching the sunset!

Nicely furnished, clean and a beautiful complex and grounds. I’d stay again. My minor complaint was about the pools. There were many families who just took over the pools. I suggest the management of the complex adhere to the rules and don’t allow children to jump and dive in the pool. This was happening with encouragement from parents. The complex might put aside time in one of the pools where no children are allow for 2 hours or so. I don’t tell to spend much time at the pool but sometimes what a quick swim. This wasn’t a relaxing place to be.

The beds were a bit too hard for our liking but slept ok. The AC was great. The photo of the ocean from the unit doesn't do the view justice. The ocean in front is a boat launch area so its best to go to the beach by Sarento's. Perfect little cove.
