The apartment was spacious. I was expecting much tighter quarters, but it was plenty for 4 people to not feel on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The washer/dryer worked, but those combo machines generally don’t dry well and take forever, and this one was no exception, so don’t expect that to be incredibly useful. Not the fault of the host, just the nature of those machines. Lots of plugs but you might want to bring a cube tap for the bathroom if you have a lot of electronics like electric toothbrushes. The views are great, the AC works well, there were beach supplies. The TV in the living area is the hotel cable, which sucks (again, not the fault of the host). It has the scrolling guide, so you have to wait forever for it to go through every channel. If you have a Roku stick or Google TV, bring it. I hooked my computer up. The TV in the bedroom is a Roku TV, so if you have Roku, that works well. Overall, the stay was great. Highly recommend this host.

Condo is exactly as described, very clean, and perfect location. Really enjoyed the wagon and beach gear, and easy walk to the beach. We watched the sunrise and sunset everyday. The park next to the condo is beautiful and makes an easy 8 minute walk to the beach. Parking spot was perfect, we had a large SUV and still fit in it just fine. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked for our meals, and the two patios were wonderful to hang out on. Gym and pool were clean and enjoyable. Would stay here again!

We stayed at this property for a week to celebrate a milestone birthday and take in the beautiful sites of Oahu. The property owners were very communicative and generally responded within an hour or two. Good instructions were given on how to pick up the key cards to enter the property and where to park. They even provided local tips for restaurants and sites to see. I think what sets this property apart is the location. It's right next to a park and a 10-minute walk to Fort DeRussy Beach and to Waikiki. The included parking is a plus. Also, it is not crowded like the other resorts if you don't care to be in the middle of the action. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Our family stayed 3weeks here, location was fantastic. Close to beaches, shopping and easy access to highways. Apartment was exactly as shown, and amenities (pool and gym) were clean and tidy and staff very friendly. Wouldnt hesitate to book here again.

First, this place is EXACTLY as listed; no surprises, no clever angles in the pictures to hide grossness or damage, everything was exactly as expected - uncommon on vrbo and (that other service).
And what a beautiful place to stay it was! Plenty of space to spread out, relax and regroup. Touristy enough for that vacation vibe, but homey enough to get away from it all for a bit and really relax. A bit of a walk to the beach, but you CAN walk there. Just means it's a little quieter, especially with the room facing the park. Being a corner unit provides for a really nice wraparound view even without the second lanai.
The host was very responsive to all communication, both before our arrival with recommendations and after arrival with questions/concerns - there were no additional trash bags in the room; sent an email and within just a few minutes had some on the way!
Included parking was a HUGE bonus - we didn't realize how important that was until we got there! Parking in Waikiki is a PREMIUM - it's easy enough to find free places but finding an open spot can be a challenge. So the included parking was greatly appreciated - and being in the garage was very easy and secure. It is a bit of a tight fit, so while it CAN fit a large SUV or truck (a big truck was parked next to us one day) I wouldn't recommend it. We rented a Mustang and it was a challenge getting in and out sometimes.
I would definitely recommend this place. Great host, great location, fair price.

Unit was exactly as advertised and we had everything we needed. Beds very comfortable, a/c was perfect and views were beautiful. We enjoyed the facility and used the parking, pool and laundry areas. The park and areas around the condo are very well maintained, secure and walk to beach is lovely. We loved the beach at Fort DeRussey Park as it was quiet and you could rent an umbrella and chairs and other equipment. Had sea turtles pop up and saw a few fish there too! We also enjoyed the beach towels, chairs and boogie boards that are at the condo. This part of Waikiki is much quieter but it’s just a short 15 min walk to the heart of the bustle on the main strip and International Marketplace etc. It truly was perfect! It is also easy to catch a Lyft and to get out to drive to the North Shore or wherever you want to explore. We would absolutely stay here again and can see why the owners chose this unit and location. It’s a gem that is obviously well loved and maintained.

This condo was amazing. It was perfect for three adults (mom and adult daughters). The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked wonderfully!! The location is perfect - close enough to walk to shops/restaurants on Waikiki, but removed by a block to where it doesn’t feel like you’re in the middle of the action. The nearest beach is Fort DeRussy beach. The walk to the beach is peaceful and shaded through the park. There’s even a wagon to schlep chairs + gear to the beach. The two lanais were great for sitting out for morning coffee.
The parking spot in the garage is tight if the valet parks cars behind it, but most of the time it was fine. Easy in and out on Kalakaua Ave.
The kitchen could use a few more basics (we had to buy salt and pepper) and the knives need sharpening, but this didn’t detract from our stay. We were still able to cook just fine. Having a washer/dryer was a plus.
Overall, we had an amazing stay in this condo and would definitely stay here again.

Walkable (20 min) distance to wikiki, though the kids preferred the beach behind the hotel (10 min walk). Clean place with balcony to air dry towels, etc.

Great location for the city life. We could walk to most places. The view and pool was nice. We loved the fireworks. The air conditioner worked wonderful and we never ran out of hot water! The parking spot was tight for the jeep but we managed and the staff moved cars for us once. We would stay here again and would recommend.

Our family of three really enjoyed our nine day stay. The space was comfortable and clean for the three of us. The water pressure in the shower is AMAZING! Location was great. A few minute walk to the beach and shopping. I loved the lanai overlooking the park and spent time relaxing and admiring the various bird populations. I would definitely stay here again!

We just returned from a one week stay and had a great time. The space was great for our family and 4 and the location was good. The plumbing in the unit needs a bit of attention. Both sinks and the bathtub didn't drain properly. Also the advertisement said there was in suite laundry which there was but only for small items (swimsuits, undergarments). We had packed accordingly thinking we had full laundry, so that was inconvenient. The only other comment would be that since this unit is part of a hotel, there were some activities that were advertised in the common areas that we were not able to participate in because we were VRBO (wine reception, lei making) and at one point we had asked if we could borrow an umbrella because it was pouring, the reception said we could, but then when she checked our room number she said we couldn't. We offered to pay, but she still declined. This should be mentioned in the write up so guests are aware.
Thank you again for allowing us to rent your space for the week. We enjoyed some much needed family time.

Nice accommodation for 2 or 4 people. About a10 minute walk to beach and to restaurants. Great to have some beach equipment to use. Communication with owner was very easy. Only drawback is with 2 beds in bedroom not suitable for family or those who need more privacy. Would definitely recommend

The location is great. It is right on the edge of Waikiki and next to Fort DeRussy park. We walked to lots of places. From one of the lanais, we watched the Friday night firework. The included parking spot definitely comes in handy. For Waikiki area, the condo is very roomy for our family of 3. Very well stocked kitchen. We also used the washer a few times. Just FYI for potential renters, there isn't a dryer in the unit. There are plenty of hangers, though. AC in both the living room and bedroom. We also made good use of the provided beach towels

We certainly enjoyed our time at this condo/suite at the Luana Waikiki Hotels/Suites. It has a great view and the full kitchen was quite valuable for our stay. We stayed with a full family of 6, and the pull out sofa bed was ok but not great. We did have to buy some supplies for our week-long stay like dishwasher detergent, additional paper towels, and laundry detergent. We found out on arrival that the washer/dryer in the suite is not to be used for towels, jeans and other items that are not small. So we had to use the hotel coin operated washers and dryers.
Again, overall a good experience. Loved the views, the pool, the exercise room, and the beach chairs and wagon in the suite.

I enjoy having breakfast in the unit before heading to our daily tour. The washer and dryer unit also keeps all my clothes clean. I always hate to go home with lots of dirty clothes.

The location is perfect. short walk to beach &/or shops. Free parking is a bonus. We had 5 adults & were comfortable. Pool is NOT heated. We went to Pearl Harbor, Germaines Luau, Polynesian Cultural Center and Kualoa Ranch. Highly recommend the ranch! We loved the 2 hr ATV raptor tour. We also went to Secret Island & 90 min Ocean Voyage.

Our family of 5 stayed here July 7-14, 2021. Before, during, and after our stay, the communication with our host was timely and crystal clear. (And as an online adjunct teacher, I value timely communication and hold that as a standards for myself, too!) Very clear instructions about how to get our keys, how to check out, where to park our rental car, etc. The condo was clean and had everything we needed—my 15 yo tall teenage son was comfortable on the sofa bed and it was super easy to fold in and out. The views from both lanais were beautiful and we enjoyed being next to the gorgeous park. Easy 5-6 min walk from Luana Waikiki through that park to get to a beach; easy 15 min walk down to Waikiki Beach. Very walkable as well to nearby restaurants. Also used the pool & weight room frequently!
This host and condo absolutely exceeded our expectations and I would most definitely recommend this to others, as well as return again myself if we visit Oaho again in the future. Others obviously also have experienced this, as the journal there on the desk to record memories is full of other families’ praises of this condo as well. Mahalo for a job done right and done well.

I can’t say enough good things about this rental. We loved the location. Access to so many things. Rental came stocked with so many items we would have needed for a proper beach day. Kitchen was perfect. Cooked breakfast every morning and even a few dinners. I will definitely be trying to get this same property next time we come back to Hawaii. We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and in a great location. We didn’t cook much during our stay, but the kitchen was stocked well if we had decided to cook. There were plenty of items to use for the beach as well. This condo is located in the Luana Waikiki and there is a great place called Fish Hooks to get breakfast on your way out. I would definitely stay at the property again if I come back to Hawaii!

This was a great little get away for me and my wife when we visited Waikiki for a wedding in April. The Luana Waikiki property is in a "quiet" location adjacent to Fort Derussy Park and a relatively short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The amenities offered afforded us opportunities for early morning work outs and breakfasts on the lanai at sunrise. This isn't the most modern or updated place in Waikiki, but the homey feel definitely resonated with the wife. And If she is happy, I am happy.

We enjoyed the central location and access to both restaurants and the beaches. The room was well appointed and had lots of little extras like beach accessories. Would have been nice to have an insuite laundry. We have stayed in the building before and had the same room but on the second floor and it had a large terrace and laundry. We are a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 children. We stayed for 2 weeks in February, and were beyond comfortable in this unit. Everything we could possibly need was found in the unit; pots, pans, utensils, cups, beach towels and chairs, and more.
We absolutely loved the location of the hotel, and were only a 10-15 minute walk from to the beach and an extra 5 minutes to the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon. The view from the lanai was exceptional and we enjoyed having our complimentary coffees overlooking the park and ocean. We loved taking evening strolls along the board walk by the beach and along Kalakaua Ave., shopping for souvenirs and trinkets, at the many shops.
Sarah provided great service and responded quickly to emails and was easily reached by phone. She was extremely accommodating regarding requests that were made. The staff at the hotel were also very pleasant and the concierge was very knowledgable.
We were very pleased with the Luana and will be staying there again on our next visit. I strongly recommend this unit.

Stayed for 5 nights with 2 adults and 2 young children. The location was perfect, quiet and yet still walkable to shops and restaurants. A new play pen and high chair were provided by the owner for my son. The kids enjoyed the firework show and the shuttle service and concierge at the hotel were fantastic. You don't need a car to get around when staying here for sure. We'll definitely recommend this place for families and friends.

We spent 7 days over Christmas time on Oahu. We enjoyed having this apartment as our home base while visiting. We slept 6 adults and 1 infant. We used the pull-out couch for a couple nights before discovering that there was a double size airbed in the unit by the door (pump included) which was a lot more comfortable. There was also a pack and play in the closet for the baby which was also nice to have. The unit is right in the main part of Waikiki just a half block away from major high end shopping and lots of restaurants. It was also a great price for the location. One downside was the parking situation. You only have Valet at the Hotel where the unit is located and it is $35 a day. There are other options around but it seems for not less than $20 a day and some research or local knowledge would be needed before arrival to know where they are located.

My daughters and I loved this Suite and the Luana Waikiki. The accommodations were perfect for us. The kitchen contained everything we needed to prepare meals and was very spacious. The beds were very comfortable, including the couch bed. We all used the gym and loved it, very clean and plenty of equipment. The property was very clean and clearly very well maintained. Easy walking distance to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Super easy process to rent and card key was waiting for us at the front desk at check in. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would recommend this property without hesitation, however I would like to keep it a secret :) This was a Thanksgiving trip we will always remember.

We stayed here for 6 nights. Good location and nearby many shops and restaurants (all pretty much south of us). The owner provided a crib and high chair which was a huge help to us. Great stay and had a great time! Would stay here again!

We stayed for 4 nights in September'15 and we loved the place. The two queen beds make the place perfect for 4 travelers and the couch in the living room pulls out. We had access to all the hotel side amenities i.e.pool and bbq. We highly recommend this place and will stay here again in the future.

We stayed here for 5 nights. It was a great room. We had tons of space for my husband, myself and 4 children. The kitchen was wonderful. It had everything we needed for cooking & eating and it made our vacation that much easier. Also the unit was equipped with lots of towels and extra bedding. The unit was comfortable and very clean. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. The amenities of the hotel was awesome. Also the employees of the hotel were very accommodating & friendly. My kids enjoyed the pool and the guest laundromat was very convenient. The location of the Luana Waikiki was the best. So close to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be staying here in the future!!!

We stayed for 4 nights. Great amount of space for my husband and I. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast daily. Within walking distance of everything in Waikiki. Awesome pool on the property. We locked ourselves in one evening and Sarah was able to work it out with the front desk staff to have a key made- so convenient considering our error. Beautiful place- we had a great time.
