We were delighted to spend a week in Katarina’s wonderful condo in Kihei. The Condo complex is directly across from a family friendly beach. My friend and I have old knees and we were happy to have a ramp to walk down to the beach to watch the sunset. The condo is exactly as the pictures show, a comfy living room with a TV and food bar, new appliances in the clean and well-appointed kitchen, as well as a table outside for morning coffee. The bedroom had an incredibly comfortable bed, plenty of hangers in the closet, a dresser and another TV. The bathroom was also terrific with a large shower as well as a hand-held shower head which was the great for getting the salt off after an ocean swim. The Foodland store is a short drive away, and we stocked up on breakfast and lunch food but we went out or did take out for dinner. The kitchen has a full set of dishes, pans, some spices, plastic wrap and more, but I confess, I was on vacation, so toast was the extent of my cooking. Nearby are restaurants, food trucks, bakeries, snorkel gear shops and more. Also, Katarina thoughtfully provided beach chairs, towels and a cooler, making beach time all the more fun and comfortable. We were there to snorkel and visited nearby beaches too. We saw colorful fish and turtles at Ulua, Wailea, and Maluaka Beaches, all less than 15 minutes away. It was a wonderful vacation and we strongly recommend the condo as it was the perfect place to relax at the end of sunny Maui day.

I’ve stayed at the Kihei Kai Nani many times, but this was the first time in Katarina’s condo. We had such a wonderful time. KKN is across the street on one of Maui’s best beaches, also walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. The pool was nice when we weren’t in the mood to get sandy. The condo is beautiful and extremely comfortable. Katarina stayed in contact with us from time to time and the communication was fantastic. I’m telling you having air conditioning in the BEDROOM is unheard of in a lot of Kihei condos. Definitely recommend this property and we will be booking with her again.

What a nice find! Great location with free beach literally access right across the street, walkable to shops, coffee, and places to eat, and drivable to everything. There’s no view, but who wants to spend a Hawaiian vacation indoors? There’s a lovely covered back patio for breakfast and coffee. The neighbors were lovely. The place was clean with a very well stocked kitchen. Loved the air conditioner in the bedroom. Communication with Katrina was easy and she accommodated a late check out so we could squeeze out a couple extra hours on the beach. Recommended!

The complex has a nice pool, a beautiful beach right across the street and Katarina has provided all the essentials for a beach activity, chairs,umbrella, towels, cooler and beach toys. The description does not lie! The condo is across the street from the beach; a few steps from restaurants, food trucks, and shops; and you can easily get to Lahaina, Makena, and Kahului.
It's clean and tidy and the condo has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hosts are responsive and very nice.

We had a wonderful time here! The bed was incredibly comfortable for us and we felt rested immediately! The suite was clean and equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. We felt really safe here. The pool is beautiful and incredibly clean! The host was so friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. The location is so close to the beach and perfect for a wide variety of activities and adventure. It is very convenient to nearby restaurants and shops. We would most definitely try to stay here again and didn’t want our stay to come to an end!

She is so kind! Her space is lovely and we really really appreciated the air conditioner for sleeping! Perfect little space very comfy bed and we just had the best trip and loved having this home base.

Enjoyed taking the chairs to the beach for the day. Loved the little library in the laundry room by the pool, and enjoyed bowering a book to read by the pool.

Thanks to Katarina and Jim for hosting us at their property. Th condo was warm and welcoming with lots of extras such as the beach cooler, beach chairs, snorkelling gear. The beach across the street was incredible- we swam with turtles every time we went. Walking distance to many restaurants, grocery stores and touristy shops. The area was very safe with easy parking. We really enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful to have the full kitchen with stove, full refrigerator and dishwasher.

This place was very nice and exactly what we wanted. The only negative comment I have is that darn couch! I’m not sure why there’s plywood under the cushions and why it is droopy in the middle, but it needs to be replaced!!

First off, our communication with Katarina, the host, was amazing! She was incredibly prompt, helpful, and gracious. When we arrived, we had everything we needed at the condo (especially coming from the mainland): full kitchen, including all utensils, cooler for the beach, beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and scuba gear. The condo was very clean and the bed was very comfortable (I have a bad back and I slept like a baby). The living room and bedroom each have a separate air condition unit. I fell in love with the shower! It has two faucets, a little bench, and decent water pressure. Additionally, it was a 3 minute walk from our door to Kam Beach II (for any folks who struggle with distance, like myself), the property is really nice and patrolled by a security member, and there is a laundry room, by the pool on site. There are a variety of rental shops, restaurants, a natural grocery store, and tourist shops within a quarter mile of the condo. This was a spectacular find, with a fantastic host, and beautiful area… can’t wait to stay again!

My wife and I stayed here for a week and loved it. It is across the street from Kamaole #2 beach, which we spent a lot of time at. It is in a part of Kihei that is walking distance to many nice restaurants and bars. We also rented a car for our trip, so staying in Kihei made getting around the island easy.
We made full use of all the amenities (kitchen, lanai, etc); the unit even provided snorkels, fins, boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and beach chairs! This made our stay that much more enjoyable.
Katarina was super accommodating with check in and out times, and resolved any and all issues right away, even though she was on vacation herself!
I would definitely recommend this listing and we would come back here again.

We had a wonderful time in this unit, short walk to a beautiful beach and walking distance to several beaches. Great food in the neighborhood and this time we spend 9 days without a car, no problem. Easy bus service was available 5 minute walk from our beautiful unit. Every evening we watched the sunset. It truly was a wonderful vacation. Host is so kind and everything was as expected. We loved everything about this space. It was perfect for my husband and I. Very short walk to the beach, close to some really delicious eateries, and very clean. Katarina was very responsive, gave recommendations, and even checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed while we were there.
We will definitely try to stay here again if we take another trip to Maui.

Easy walk past the pool, to beach, with foot washing area on way back. Exceptionally clean. Owner obviously takes personal pride in their property to the detail. Queen bed is very comfortable. Floors, bathroom and kitchen all appear new, or at least well taken care of by the owner. Nice place with value for the area. It is always hard looking for a VRBO based on pictures alone. You won’t be unhappy with this stay.

This property had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Maui. It was very clean and comfortable, and beach supplies are provided. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. We loved the shower. The location is good for Kihei. We didn't have a car the first couple days of our stay and were still able to walk to the beach, a grocery store, and restaurants. We did see a few bugs almost everyday, but it is what you would expect from a ground floor unit in that climate. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

We LOVED this apartment. It was like being at home. It had everything we needed and even more. The restroom was really nice and clean. The kitchen had a coffee pot and everyday we had coffee in the patio. We baked in the oven and it was just overall so nice. The absolute best part was the location. We walked to the beautiful beaches nearby. There were stores nearby to get ice cream and food. Lots of restaurants and parks, and gorgeous beaches! Would definitely stay here again. Also, the bed is extremely comfortable and the living room had a pullout bed that was super convenient. Overall, the price, location, cleanliness comfortable, it was perfect!

I enjoyed the condo very much. It has nice updated kitchen and bathroom. The condo was stocked with all the kitchen necessities and everything you need for the beach. The lanai was very nice and private and backed up to a tropical setting. Katrina was very responsive and accommodating. The location was great; close to restaurants, stores and across from the beach. The unit is modern and very clean. It is stocked with beach equipment such as towels, boogie boards, chairs, one umbrella, sand toys, buckets and fins. The pull out sofa is not the best (they never are) but the owner provides a thick foam mattress to put on top. The only other slight critique is that both dining areas - kitchen and lanai - have tall bar stools. The location is excellent, walkable to Kam 2 beach, which is a great place to swim. Also, the lanai faces a public space as opposed to the parking lot, giving more privacy. I would rent this unit again when I return to Maui.

We are a family of four (my wife, myself and our two children 2.5 yrs and 11months) and we recently stayed in this condo for two weeks. It is everything we needed and more. Location could not have been better. Having ground level was perfect for our kids to play around off the lanai. Kamaole II was where we spent most days as it is so close to the unit and easy access for the entire family. Having a newly updated unit isn't always necessary when enjoying paradise but it is definitely an added bonus. The condo was clean and provided everything we could possibly need. We were even supplied with a play-pen for our son to sleep in though the owner, Katarina Mandala. Katarina was more than attentive and was a simple text/call away when we had questions. We would VERY happily stay in this unit again. Make sure to get a pudding from 808 Deli next door! You won't be disappointed :)

This unit is very nice and met all our needs for a lovely vacation. The resort, Kihei Kai Nanni, is perfectly situated for great beach access, great nearby dining, a diversified strip mall next door and easy access to many other Kihei attractions. The pool is a good size, well maintained and has
plenty of pool side equipment. There is plenty of good secure parking for the residents. The condo unit we rented was very modern and well provisioned. The owners are very close and were very responsive when we needed to contact them. The nights are quiet.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at this beautiful, peaceful condo in Kihei. It has been recently updated and remodeled. The kitchen has everything you'll need. There are many great restaurants within walking distance. The pool at the complex is fantastic; other residents said it was the best pool in Kihei. The bed is very comfortable and if you plan on using the sofa hide a bed be sure to ask about the added mattress. The shower is a beautiful design. The best beaches in Kihei are just across the street. The owner is very responsive to any requests or needs.

The condo was perfect for us! So clean and newly upgraded with everything we needed. Katrina was so helpful. She even provided an extra mattress to make the fold out couch more comfortable for our daughter. We really appreciated the amazing comfortable queen bed and loved the fresh crisp linens. The shower in the bathroom is amazing. The kitchen is very well equipped and we made good use of the cooler, beach chairs and boogie boards. We enjoyed walking across the street to Kamaole beach 2 and then along the shoreline for a lovely morning walk each day. The pool is lovely and a good size. We made good use of the barbeques situated at multiple locations for easy access. All in all I would recommend staying at this property and Katarina’s condo. We hope to return again soon!

My wife and I stayed here Xmas Week 2017 and Loved it. The place is newly remodeled, new fridge, new stove, new everything. The shower is walk in with Glass doors which is super awesome. The owner showed did a small tour of the place.
Included: Towels, Cooking Pans, Pretty much anything you needed.
Ice Cooler was the best, we used it on our Trip to Hana (came in handy) THANK YOU FOR THAT.
Beach - I literally walked to the beach in less than 4 Minutes.
Patio - In the back there was a nice patio area.

This condo was very nice to stay in as it was newly renovated with modern features, a nice surprise in an older location. Definitely would stay here again with my family, with close access to the beach and stores in Wailea and Kihei- the renters were very helpful and friendly as well when booking.
