The property was amazing. We loved all the amenities.
The only thing was when we needed something, we were not sure where to go? There was no one to go to in the lobby except the bell desk. The bell desk was an amazing group of men. They were swamped already with helping people with their cars, then they had to assist people with keys for their units. People were hurt and needed first aid and they attended to them and referred them to security. Everybody that had a question went to them. They were so patient with us all. They need more help. They look like they were short handed as well. I felt sorry for them doing all the work. There was no one else to go to. They were working very hard and never complained. Please give them more people.

The condo was exactly as pictured in the listing. Very easy checkin process. We had an issue with the dryer and I reached out to the property manager and it was addressed the same day. Beautiful property and very nice resort. We would stay here again.

We have stayed at Honua Kai twice before, both times in the Hokulani building. This was the first time in the Konea building.
6 family members, stayed in Konea 349, 3 BR, 3 BA. Plenty of room for all, and the bathrooms are very large. Partial ocean view was fine, but not as good as other units we have stayed. For best ocean views, always stay in rooms with odd numbers and lower numbers ( for example room 309 is better than 349).
Underground parking was not always available if you got home after 8pm. You would have to park outside near the Hokulani building and walk to the Konea tower.
Easy access to pool and beach.
Dukes restaurant is a must for breakfast and dinner and is in the property
Hula pie is a must!!
Go to Napili cove, Fleming Beach, and be certain to walk the Coastal trail from either the parking lot at Napili Kai, or the opposite end from Ironwood village near Kapalua. eat at Sea House restaurant in Napili Kai.
Mama’s Fish House in Paia was a little disappointment this year. Has always been one of our favorites.Still we highly recommend you go there. Also there is the Paia Fish market in Lahaina to eat.

This condo made our family vacation very enjoyable. The layout of having one master bedroom separate from the others worked well for us with a 1 year old along for the trip. The spacious living area gave us all room to stretch out and got even better when the whole wall of windows was opened to the lanai. All the bedrooms had very comfortable beds and having three zones for the air conditioning made it easy to tailor the temperature to our needs. We ate breakfast either on the lanai or at the dining room table daily and even cooked a number of dinners in the gourmet kitchen. As this was a family trip we didn't have too much wine in the wine fridge but it worked out very well for keeping our water and other drink bottles cool and convenient.
The underground parking was very convenient and we were able to park multiple cars.
We also made use of the fitness room a few times. It had a nice variety of equipment and TV screens on most of the cardio machine with headphone jacks to give you options.
The variety of pools on the property was a hit with both adults and kids. The shallow pool for little kids has enough chairs around it that it is easy to find room. The water slide was to big for our little kid but was still enjoyed by some of the adults. We ate at the restaurant on the grounds twice but with such a well set up kitchen in our condo it was actually easier to eat in. They do have barbeques on the ground by the pool but we didn't end up using them. We did use the beach chairs that were provided and had a great day at the beach down by black rock.
That all said we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for your next vacation.

This was a dream vacation! The accommodations of the unit and the property made a great vacation even better. The unit is very spacious and well set up for 4 adults. We made good use of the kitchen as well as the wifi and speakers available in all of the rooms. The property had everything we needed right there within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family has traveled to Maui before and stayed in different luxury hotel. Staying at the Honua Kai villa was and entirely different feel for our big family. It was beautiful and completely functional. KBM was extremely professional and thorough and we will never stay anywhere else.

We enjoyed the stay. I asked for king sheets and they were never delivered even though guest services said they were on their way. No follow up. There’s an ongoing leak in hall closet and mold is growing. That isn’t safe. I called guest services and they weren’t aware.

Excellent property with tons of perks! Great view perfect situation with three master bedrooms and three separate bathrooms. Pool was clean food was good at the restaurant close by. View off the balcony was of course not oceanfront but perfect. I would say that the sheets were a little cheap for such an expensive place. Towels a little too used for such an expensive place. And lack of kitchen supplies. Other than that it was a great place to rent

We loved this unit! The property is beautiful!! It was so clean and comfortable for our family! The kitchen is lacking a few essential items which made it hard to use the oven. There weren’t any oven mitts, cookie sheets or measuring cups. And some of the beach equipment is broken (one umbrella and chair). But overall it was wonderful! We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful condo. Great lay out and beautiful inside. The washer/dryer was wonderful to have and the entry closet had some great extras like boogie boards, a cooler, chairs, etc. We loved the patio and spent a good deal of our time eating & reading outside. Duke’s beach house was an excellent restaurant down by the pool/beach and when we didn’t want to cook it was our go-to. Great beach with snorkeling right by Duke’s and a short driving distance to some other great beaches. Pools not as crowded as a hotel’s and property is very clean! Elevator is fast! Only thing that wasn’t perfect was when we got to the property we were a bit confused about where to go, but we called KBM and they guided us in. The valet that was to give us our keys (bracelet) was a bit hard to track down when we got there and it made us a little nervous, but all turned our well. The towel dispensers downstairs were genius, no need to worry about washing pool and beach towels. You won’t regret this booking!

Unit 349 was very clean, nice decor, 3 king size beds very comfortable. The Konea building is a little quieter than the Hukolani, mostly because the pool there is more of an adult oriented pool. We stayed in both and have nothing bad to say about either building.
Its was nice waking up to the sunshine on our belcony every morning in unit 349 (Konea)
Lots of room for a family of 5 plus 1 9 month old. could easy accommodate 6 adults and 2 kids
unit has 2 beach chairs and large beach towels and umbrella, booster seat and pack and play and a few toys for the beach.
We would definetly go back to Honua kai resort thru KBM.

We rented two units for 5 couples and 2 children that included two vehicles, one upgraded to a van. True to advertising pics and descriptions the property, units, vehicles and views were even more than we had hoped for! Beautiful, clean, and well maintained units provided comfy beds and bathrooms for each family and a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to prepare our meals. We took advantage of the BBQ area onsite for a couple of meals as well. The "Beach Package" complete with chairs, umbrella, sand toys, a cooler and boogie boards provided a great touch for our beach experience! KBM was quick to respond to requests made for VERY MINOR issues. Check-in was pleasant, quick and painless. We experienced smiles and helpful comments everywhere we went onsite! We had dinner at Duke's the night we arrived and the night before we left and loved our meals both times! There is a supermarket right across the street and we found the onsite shop to be well stocked and fairly priced for all of our needs. Make sure to try the HoloHolo lemonades! We would recommend this property and KBM to ANYONE wanting an amazing experience on Maui! As a side note, we rented jeeps at Budget just one mile away for the Road to Hana. (140.00 for the day with Costco Membership) We removed the tops and not one of us got sick and the view was incredible! We also had those prone to motion sickness drink the Hana Tonic, available from the giftshop, before starting our journey and were glad we did! It really works!
