We loved the comfort and location of this condo. It was well stocked, comfortable beds, quiet private deck, assigned parking immediately outside the condo! The location is a quick drive to Wailea or even walkable-a bit of a hike but there is a path along the water (start at the boat launch, walk thru beaches and finally on to the paved path-an amazing walk!We walked to many restaurants in south Kihei-just perfect!We are planning on returning again next year!

10 nights at this condo were wonderful. My husband, our 25 year old daughter and our 18 year old son stayed here. We used to come to Maui yearly then began visiting the big island of Hawaii. Maui was nice and we enjoyed our stay. Maui Kamaole was a place we stayed previously and it is still a great location.
We ate at Duke’s in Ka’anapali and walked through the resorts there and visited Lahaina but we definitely prefer Kihei or Wailea as our home base! Very crowded in Ka’anapali.
We made notes of restaurants the we enjoyed and those that no longer live up to our expectations. These are the places we liked: Pa’ia fish market in Kihei, Ohana seafood bar, Gus’ shaved ice, Four Sisters bakery!!!, 62 Market restaurant, Cafe O Lei at the Plantation, Wow wow lemonade, Pint and Cork, Maui Brewery happy hour.

This is a well stocked, clean condo and in a central location. But the stand out experience of this unit for me was the management company. Their communications were clear. When I had questions, they either picked up the phone right away or replied to my message shortly thereafter. They were professional, informed, courteous and willing to accommodate my requests, when possible. I highly recommend staying at this or another one of their properties.

I stayed at this suite with my son on a kiteboarding trip and really enjoyed everything about it - spacious, quiet, clean, private. All appliances were clean and worked. We didn’t use the pool which looked like a nice space. Every person we met including security are very friendly and the owner kindly accommodated a late stay for us which made our travels easier. I would stay there again

Perfect size for 2 adults/2 kids. Well stocked, comfortable couch and outside seating area. The unit stayed cool, no A/C needed! King bed was a little firm for us and pillows were a little flat. Nice big TV’s. One complaint… walls are thin! Baby downstairs kept us up most nights. Other then that, nice unit and a really nice complex!!

Love this location! Walk down the hill to the best beaches and back up to the pool if you can’t handle the wind. All the best food and coffee places are within 10 minutes or less. Condo had ample kitchen amenities and nice beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, etc. This will save you quite a bit since you won’t have to rent it yourself. The condo was immaculate, AC more than sufficient, full size washer and dryer mean you can pack half as much. Keyless entry is super convenient, as is this unit’s proximity to the pool. This is my 2nd time staying at Maui Kamaole and I will definitely be back!

We stayed here for six nights and this condo was awesome! Perfect location to the pool, very clean, well stocked and plenty of room for a family. We loved the close proximity to all the beaches and downtown Kihei. Normally we have stayed in a resort in the past, but we are definitely going to switch that up from now on because there’s so much more room and flexibility to do things. I would definitely recommend to stay here. Also anytime you had a question it was answered promptly.

The unit itself and the property company that manages it were excellent. It was remodeled and nice inside. The AC worked great and it was spacious. My only issue with the unit itself was the lanai - the AC unit condenses water onto the tile and then the floor gets dirty quickly. Maybe a rug out there would be nice. There's also zero view of anything on the lanai other than some tall bushes and the complex road - just something to be aware of.
Our actual issue here was with the complex owners. There's clearly a large population of condo owners here that do NOT want vacation rentals. From being told to leave the hot tub so they could sit in it, to frequent comments of "we own here so these are the rules"......(and I have to be clear - we didn't break any of the posted rules, to which there are many). It just felt like we were always being educated on what you were and weren't allowed to do in this complex, and that wasn't particularly enjoyable.
Maybe this was a one-off experience, but it was certainly something that took us by surprise.

This unit in Maui Kamaole was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for our family (2 adults and 2 teenage children). Parents had the first floor bedroom and teens had the loft with separate twin beds and own bathroom. The pool and grill area is very close and convenient from the unit but you do not hear anyone at the pool from your balcony as it faces the other side of the building. We stayed for 10 days and had a blast. Lots to do right from this location- beaches, snorkeling, shops, restaurants, shaved ice, coffee, cinnamon roll shop, açaí bowls, etc. we would rent this unit again.

The unit was as described, well cleaned, and we loved it! The only thing annoying about our stay was we were shushed literally every 15 minutes by the property staff when at the pool. Our children would be talking in normal voices and then tell us to be quiet and that older residents complain. They need to understand that they are rental units next to a pool in the middle of the day and people are on vacation having a good time. We felt like we had to tip toe around everywhere and it was a damper on the pool experience. Other than that we loved it.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL . EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATIONS. HAVE COMPLETED THIS BEFORE -- HOWEVER GLAD TO DO IT AGAIN . Couple of suggestions --- Upstairs Bathroom --- need shower door to prevent water going on the floor making it slippery when coming out of shower . Also same Bathroom -- Need a Curtain over window that could be tied back . People on Lani look right into the bathroom .. no privacy . I believe the description states OCEAN VIEW -- NOT TRUE . THE OCEAN IS DOWN THE HILL ACROSS THE STREET. NICE VIEW FROM MAIN LANI, HOWEVER . POOLS WERE GREAT . HOT TUB FANTASTIC . GRILLS WERE ALSO GREAT -- USED THEM 2X . I can see why this unit is frequently booked. The layout was very spacious, the updates inside were great, it was very clean upon arrival and had a lot of beach toys to borrow. Nice extras with full size washer and dryer. Even though there was not an ocean view, the patio was so peaceful and surrounded by lush Hawaiian plants and flowers.

We were on a family vacation.....family of adults, 6 of us for 10 days together and C202 worked brilliantly for us. Lots of space, privacy and awesome amenities at our fingertips. The condo was fully equipped so all we needed to buy was food. We highly recommend this unit...the location was great, right beside the pool and BBQs. An easy walk to restaurants and beaches. Excellent spot!

The condo was clean and the kitchen had several condiments. The location was perfect. The beach is about 3 blocks away but it is lovely for snorkeling and swimming. The upstairs loft had no door and open to the downstairs so not a lot of privacy. We walked to restaurants. The condo could use some refurbishing--it was a little worn out. Overall though it worked just fine for us.

Maui Kamaole C202 was just as shown in the images. Nice layout; close to the pool. Not much of a view (because of the trees), but was very private. The walls seemed a bit "thin" between the unit backing on to the kitchen. We could hear their TV, violin lessons, and they didn't concern themselves with slamming the door every time they came and went from their unit. Would strongly recommend getting rid of the carpet; it's dirty and old. A few things need to be repaired / replaced: Kitchen cupboard door, patio furniture (rotten from the sun), and the dryer door seal (coming off). Overall, we really enjoyed staying at Maui Kamaole; the property is beautifully landscaped and well kept. We would likely try a different unit next time that doesn't have carpet, and one with a better view.

Overall, we really enjoyed this unit. It is nicely upgraded and we enjoyed the layout. The cabinets, countertops, bathrooms, and stainless appliances were all very nice. The large kitchen island was very convenient. King size bed in the master and separate twins up in the other, upstairs, bedroom. The ceiling being painted off-white added brightness to the space. It also came with many items you may not find in other rentals. Beach towels, 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, kids toys, etc., were all there for our use. The kitchen had lots of spices, condiments, oils, cooking spray. Laundry and dishwasher detergent were also provided. I emailed the property manager, Matt, about the under-cabinet lights not working and he was there replacing the bulbs just a couple hours later. The parking space is as close as possible to the unit and there are additional visitor spaces very close, also. The unit's location is very close to the larger lower pool, and just a very short walk to our favorite, the upper pool. There were a few things that could improve the unit, though. The living area carpet and couch/chair cushions could use a good cleaning or replacement. We actually noticed our bare feet getting a little dirty from walking on the carpet. The couch and chair cushions were very well used and looked somewhat dirty and worn. My father and adult sister were staying in the upstairs bedroom and did not like that the sink area is not closed off from the beds. If one person was up trying to get ready, it was noisy for the other. Probably better for kids than two adults. None of the four of us staying there were happy with the mattresses, either. They, too, seemed well-used and soft. We have stayed in this complex several times prior, and we did enjoy this unit. We would likely stay here again in the future. Just a basic carpet & cushion cleaning, though, would take it from "very good" to "excellent", and new mattresses

My Family and I stayed at the Maui Kamaole for 2 weeks. The location is kept up very well by their grounds staff and overall its in a great location. You are pretty much at the end of Kihei just before Wailea. The unit itself is very spacious and bright, it has a lot of natural light and on warm days has the AC units to help keep your unit cool in the evening. They did do a renovation on the unit which is nice and up to date. We came across some insects in the unit which is part of being on a tropical island and the owners of the unit were quick to reply and actually come over to help with the situation. After they came in and gave us some insect spray and we plugged all the holes we had no issues but can catch you off guard at first. Overall this unit meet our needs as a family of 4, it was a great place to stay with our family for our time in Maui we would come back again. There are some strict rules to the Maui Kamaole especially for pool usage and quiet time is from 10pm-8am......you can even run laundry or washer until 8am. But it shouldn't be a big deal when your on vacation.

The condo from booking on line to arrival and departure was a breeze All people who rent out their condos should take a lesson from these condo owners. The condo was extremely clean (I do check with a black light, not to complain but to clean if necessary - no extra cleaning needed) We rent lots of condos and know that sometimes you need to bring a lot of extras that most condos don't have. It was actually well stocked with spices, kitchen items (including a metal potato masher the plastic ones are useless) The only things I would mention are the knifes are very dull (I forgot my sharpener that I usually bring lol) But there is no chef knife just lots of steak knives. A large fry pan would have being nice and a big pan for pancakes. The beds were incredibly comfortable, bedrooms very quite we found we didn't need the AC with the cross breeze. Some condos have a screen door on the front door for more breeze this would have been nice however the fans work great and quite. One negative comment I have is actually with the pool area. I suggest if you have kids with you might need think about staying here. Extensive pool rules include as most places no Marco Polo which cracks me up everytime I see that on the rule board. However kids are not allowed pool noodles, balls, toys, or floats. But there is an aqua class that seems to use pool noodles without any trouble. We didn't have kids with us but felt bad for the families that had pool noodles or floats with them. Someone from the office would come out and ask them to take them out. I actually overheard a maintenance worker ask some kids to take their noodles out as it caused the skimmer basket to clog and they couldn't use the pool floats not sure why but this rule was hit and miss most days. Nice pool otherwise with lots of chairs and its nice to see majority of people not saving chairs. The condo is close to very nice beaches, we preferred the beach to the left of the condo as you exit.
