I love staying at Hale Mahina and this ground floor unit is just perfect for easy access to the beach, BBQS, and pool! The bed was cozy and the shower was really nice! I would love to stay here again when I come back!

Bottom floor only literally a few steps to the pool. A few more steps to the sandy beach and ocean. Turtles everywhere. Sit on the grass with provided loungers or down to the beach. 10 minutes to drive to Lahaina.

We feel like this condo is a hidden secret in Maui. We have stayed in many hotels throughout Maui and this is such a treasure. Right on the beach! Close to great restaurants! Turtles! Sunrises! Sunsets! Wow!

Simply put, this is the best place to stay on Maui. Well-appointed condo is steps from the Sandy beach. Turtles graced our presence every day and the whale watching was great. Nice bunch of guests and owners here do happy hour daily and there is never a moment you aren’t grateful to be here. Highly recommend- and we have stayed dozens of places on the islands.

We loved our stay here. Everything is exactly as advertised. The lanai was our favorite spot surrounded by beautiful vegetation and hearing the ocean.
We had at least one sea turtle on the beach every day or evening. Plus we had the thrill of a Monk Seal snoozing on the beach one of our days.
It is close to lots of great beaches!

Condo is great with a private lanai right on the beach. This condo is walking distance to a farmers market, an ABC store and a bike rental shop. Very close to Kaanapali beach and Lahaina. Second time to this property and I would go back it's that good!

My wife and I had an incredible 12 nights here. The location is perfect and within a short distance to many sights. Being able to walk out to both the pool and beach is a unique feature that is hard to find. Above all, the owners take great care and make the stay a great experience. A big thank you to them.

What a beautiful place to stay in Maui. The condo was very comfortable and well equipped. We had our best snorkeling in front of the complex, where I saw an eel and a large school of chub, and a couple of days had a seal and a turtle sleeping on the beach. We usually ate our dinners at the tables on the grass and watched the beautiful sunsets. It was a great place to come home to after long days of exploring. Mahalo Terry and Penny

Aside from some unexpected construction right outside of our room, this was a great room and location. This room had the best entry point to the pool and beach. Saw some amazing sunsets and sunrises there. Although there is no A/C, with the back sliding door and windows open, there was a nice breeze that cooled it. It did get a tad humid inside because of that at times though. The best part was the customer service. So accommodating and friendly! He allowed us to check in a couple hours early and was very responsive. My hubby and I were very happy with this room and will likely stay here again.

The condo is very comfortable and relaxing. It is on the first floor which makes it convenient to get to the waterfront and the parking lot. The overall property is not too large and has a friendly atmosphere. The pictures don't do it justice. It is literally steps from the waterfront and has a wonderful, secluded patio.
We had a bit of a hiccup on check-in but Terry, the owner, took good care of us. You can tell a lot about someone from how they handle issues and I can say that Terry cares about making his clients happy.

This was a beautiful place to stay. I loved being able to walk right out of the condo to the pool and the ocean. It was wonderful! We liked staying in Lahaina and all of the other guests were very friendly. I would have liked curtains on the patio doors for added privacy since many guests come and go from the pool area, but it’s fairly mostly private with all of the plants. There wasn’t any A/C, but there were several fans that were helpful. We would stay here again.

We walked in and we were greeted by double door openings to the master bedroom. Comfy! The kitchen was well stocked and roomy. A formal set dining table with candles, awesome! Living room warm and welcoming. On to the lani and a few steps further is the pool, lawn area and of course, the beach! Terry and Penny were only a text or phone call away. I feel we’ve made this our choice to be “home away from home”! Mahalo!

Wonderful location. Unit is on ground floor with pool & hot tub located right outside unit, beach about 30 steps away. Larry, resort manager, very friendly and helpful - keeps the grounds in amazing condition. Pool and hot tub are spotless. Unit is homelike with a lanai surrounded by tropical plant life to keep the unit very private. The bed is very comfortable. Lots of towels and supplies etc. Communication with owner & questions etc. were answered within minutes. We would return in a heartbeat!!!

We loved staying here - it is ground level so just a few steps to the pool, hot tub, lawn area, great little beach and the ocean (good snorkeling is about 100 yards north). The condo is older but in good shape, supplied well, nice lanai for sitting or eating outside and we loved it. If you are the type where it has to be modern, pristine and brand new then you should pass but we like the old school charm of the unit and the property. The bedroom is near the parking lot & dumpster and fairly close to the road - you will hear occasional noise from that but the road is quiet from about 9:30 PM - 7 AM and not really that loud even during the day. We'll be coming back.

Our main complaint was the lack of cleanliness. We visited at the end of COVID and the place had a layer of dust on EVERYTHING, The unit was filled with collectibles and glassware which were not clean, including the two dining tables, which were also "set" with dishes covered in dust; this left little room for guests to spread our own belongings out for our stay. We had ants to battle and I even found a peach pit on the kitchen floor.
There were small things that needed to be repaired - the lock/unlock mechanism on the screen door leading to the patio, inaccurate WIFI address on laminated instructions, bulbs out in lamps (and the unit is fairly dark in general.
I understand that units are not necessarily handicapped accessible, however every other Hale Mahina unit I have stayed in had a hand rail on the stairs down to the living area - not so in this unit.
This unit needs significant cleaning, clearing out of personal items, and updating to provide a comfortable stay for renters.

Wonderful to wake up to flowers and ocean view from the kitchen. Morning relaxation sessions in lounge chairs on the grass were precious. Condo was well supplied. Grounds and pool area rigorously maintained by on site property manager.

Location and view was absolutely amazing! Downsides are that the bed is horribly uncomfortable. Overall the condo was clean, but there is so much decor/clutter in the condo that it looks like it's hard for cleaners to get to everything.

Great condo in Lahaina. It's modest but has everything you need. The location makes it magical. You can't beat the tropical Lanai, the 12 required to walk to the pool, hot tub, back lawn, and beach. Multiple turtles come to sleep on this beach daily. It's also great for snorkling. Recommended!
