Check in was easy, Condo was in a fantastic location to see the entire island . My husband felt that the TV should have been mounted on the wall and larger and the ice maker didn’t work. Bed was a bit uncomfortable and so was the living room furniture but we spent most of our time exploring the island so it was not a big deal. Condo was a bit warm due to no AC but we made due with the fans. Security Guard was a very nice man and gave us recommendations on where to eat close by. Pool was nice as well. One last thing, the floor should probably be replaced with some LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) because when it rains, it comes in the windows and the flooring is damaged due to this. Overall, I would stay again and I would recommend due to the view and location.

Every morning included a beautiful sunrise from the lanai and a walk on the beach to the swimming area just a block north. The ladies at Garden Valley Properties were so helpful when we realized our beach umbrella was broken. They ordered a new one at the hardware store and we picked it up on our way to Hanalei Bay. Beautiful island, beautiful condo.

Overall, our stay was quite pleasant, despite the fact that on the second day the refrigerator started breaking down and we lost much of our perishable food items. The management company was prompt in their response. The kitchen could use some additional gadgets, such as a garlic press, additional regular sized wine glasses, beer bottle opener. The lanai door needs to be fixed, as well as one of the louver drives. But the apt location was unbeatable.

We stayed here for a week. Great location as it’s easy access to the North, South and the airport. It’s also close to Kapaa with groceries and restaurants.
The trade winds provided nice cooling and the condo is well-equipped. Would have loved the dishes to be cleaner though. We cleaned them prior to using them.

The view from this unit was amazing and being right on the sandy beach for our kids to play was amazing! The unit itself is in need of some maintenance. Some deep cleaning and painting would greatly improve its overall feel and our dishwasher didn’t seem to work and the amount of dead bugs inside the unit itself proves that it hasn’t been working. I had to hand wash our dishes.

Garden Island responded to all concerns immediately. Outstanding service. However, they property was left in poor condition. It was clean but, plumbing needed attention,coffee maker did not warm coffee,TV was difficult to operate. The decor was spartan. We paid extra to have a twin beds converted to a king, bad result. The view from balcony is world class. Daily utility supplies very good. Garden Isl Prop is great to work with,super staff, but whoever works the details needs training.

We spent many morning hours gazing at the sunrises and ocean over morning coffees from the Lanai. The lanai cools down to comfortably by around noon to enjoy a lunch there as well, very pleasant. Very short walk to the Lydgate Park snorkel reef protected area; it's small and busy by noon, but so close you can get a daily swim or dose of fish snorkeling. It's about equal distance/time to go up to Anini (35m) or down to Poipu (40m) for more adventurous snorkeling. Definitely close enough to take the drive to Waimea and Kokee State parks (1.5hrs) to take in the views and hike, wouldn't want to be any further north though as you'd hit the traffic at Kapaa and Lihue getting south. Condo is a perfect corner unit, very private with almost no view of other guests. Fairly well equipped overall, 5c coffee pot on the small side for 2 of us but can make do, comfortable beds, bit warm on the SW side for sleeping but if you open the patio doors east windows, weather permitting, and bedroom windows get a good breeze through entire unit and the many fans help a lot. The 2 BBQs at the pool were great, the one BBQ closest to this unit was not, can't get hot enough, not all burners are working or working well enough to cook properly. None of the negatives are serious or would prevent us from booking this unit again. Management Corp very quick to respond to issues and questions.

We loved the location of this condo. The views of the ocean were stunning. We enjoying watching the sunrise in the morning and the moonrise over the water at night. We liked the walking trails right out from the property. We thought the location was central to most activities that we wanted to do. The condo was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some easy meals. The only issue we had was that the beds were a bit saggy and uncomfortable. Overall it was a great stay! The management had great communication as well. Thank you!

The views are incredible from the deck, we took morning walks on the beach daily. Short walk to park and to Hilton Garden hotel to have drink at the tiki bar watching the waves roll in. The unit was very nice, NO A/C (which we knew that) was very hot muggy left the sliding glass door open to let the breeze in, not good when it rains though. Both bedrooms have extra fans which were highly needed. Beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs and umbrella are available to use whichbwas nice. The kitchen is fully equipped to make your own meals. The pool on the grounds is available to use. There are grills available to use as well. Over all it was a really nice unit, met our needs and again the views are incredible. We saw several rainbows from the deck. Check in and check out supper easy, door code provided the day you arrive. The only reason for 4 stars is due to no a/c, flooring is nice but updated to vinyl waterproof flooring would be ideal for this unit.

This place is in a great location. Perfect beach just steps away from the unit. Off the main road and walking distance to great snorkeling area. Clean and large unit and had everything we needed. Just a couple minutes drive to kapa’a with shopping and restaurants. Will stay again!

Kaha Lani #224 is a lovely second floor corner unit. It was very clean and ready for our 10 day stay. The beach towels at the foot of each bed was a nice touch. The Lani was my favorite spot. With a stunning view, with a cross breeze, a table and 4 chairs. Plus two very nice lounge chairs. The pool and pool area was a wonderful place to enjoy afternoon swims and BBQ’s.The condo could use some paint touch ups where pictures have been removed. The front room cushions on the furniture needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. Also linen and towels are dated but were still usable. None of the things I listed as needs improvement would not stop me from renting this condo again. I have rented from Garden Island Properties at least four times and found them to be responsive to any of my needs and are very friendly.

Sunrise was awesome from the lanai everyday. The grounds are kept well and the beach was perfect to chill on. The beach is too rough to swim at but there is a protect swim area in the park 1 km away. The condo has beach chairs and a cooler. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Took a chance based on photos, description and reviews. Had not stayed at this resort before. Overall, the main selling point was location and view. Excellent communication from Garden Island Properties before, during and after our stay. Condo is a little dated and could use some updating. Ocean effect on sliding glass doors, windows, screens and frames is severe. Could have used a higher level of cleaning if possible to enhance the view. Might all need replacing and regular maintenance. Washing and Drying clothes, towels, etc. is on your own behind Kaha Lani office. Credit cards only and $3.00 for each use of washer or dryer. Supply your own soap from store. Laundry facility was clean and maintained. Had to re-clean the living room glass counters and mirror upon arrival. Beds comfortable. Living room couches, not so much. Did not advise Garden Island Properties. I know they would have handled it. If updated and windows and glass etc. addressed, would recommend location.

Check in process is very self sufficient and management gives you all the info needed for a smooth transaction. Great place for families, Lydgate Park and beach is walking distance and kids will love it! Lihue close by for groceries but the Safeway is pricy, I suggest going to Costco or Walmart in the opposite direction for groceries. I esp loved that they allow a few basics to be left behind for the next visitor… I would definitely return:)

The condo was perfectly located, beautiful view of the beach, nice size lanai. Kitchen is nicely equipped and the property was clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking. Pool is also nice, no spa. Roosters are loud 20 of the 24 hours. The only negative thing is we were told it would sleep 6 adults , that is had a premium aero bed. The first night we arrived after 5pm; no aero bed, the office onsite no help so 2 adults with no bed the first night. Second problem they couldn’t find it the next day either, brought us another blow up mattress, not really that great of a sleeping solution for 2 adults. This is a great place for 4 people and maybe a small child on the blow up. But don’t be talked into 6 adults.

This was my second year in this unit. I returned because it is a fabulous location and the property is well kept and has almost all amenities one might need. I still wish there were a safe for valuables when I was away from the is a relaxing and convenient holiday experience. Unfortunately, another raise in the rates for next year puts it well over my budget so I will not be returning next year. Good memories though!

This condo is close enough to the water that we slept with the lanai doors open (screen closed) and fell asleep to the sound of the waves.
The location is also excellent if you're dividing your time between South and North of the island.
The beach is wonderful for strolling and the sunrises are spectacular.
Kitchen had everything we needed. We also appreciated the beach gear and cooler.

I really enjoyed this location with my friends just because this was our first time in Kauai. Unfortunately the check in process was a bit of a drag. The housekeeper took the key with them and they were already on the other side of the island by the time we showed up. We had groceries with us and had to wait near an hour (most of our ice/ice cream melted). The property manager didn’t really seem to have any sense of urgency for us and tried calling the resort manager to come but their key didn’t work for us either. So our wait extended and we didn’t get an apology or anything other than “oh well”
Then when we got into the apartment it didn’t seem that the housekeeping sweep did a great job. The counters were messy, the couch was full of sand, the beds had sand in them too. We brought our own cleaning materials and wiped down/cleaned up but definitely expected better from this.
Location: the immediate beach is great to look at, not safe for people to go in. There’s also a camping area nearby and we found a lot of trash/needles along the path way (don’t walk barefoot even though the urge is real)
I would say the views are immaculate and the location is central to many local spots.

The Condo was clean and had all the amenities. Could use a update on some of the kitchen supplies but didnt stop us from being able to cook what we wanted.Beautiful sunrise in the mornings after the Roosters wake you up.The staff kept you up to date with the happenings on the island. One thing, most of the farmers markets are not in operation right now. Found a great one in Lihue though on Saturdays, I think called grove farm market across from the college. The coconut plaza farmers market is a rip off.

Excellent unit. Clean and with a fantastic view. The kitchen is very well supplied. No AC but the breeze from the ocean and the fans in the room are enough to keep you comfortable. Best part was the location- sandy beaches easily in walking distance with a sectioned off part of the beach nearby for snorkeling. 10-15 minutes away from food in Lihue and Kapaa. And a great base for traveling all around the island.

This is a nice and clean apartment, but the immediate surrounding is not good. We did not have any problems with the Appartement, but the beach was overrated in the description. It is much smaller and just more rough than what it showed in the online pictures . Also there is a waste water plant right next to the resort and during our stay there was a significant spill, so that the beach was contaminated and had to be closed. Therefore we decided to move elsewhere short notice, which was stressful. Fortunately we received a refund. I know this is not the owners fault, but we would not rent anything near a waste water plant again.

The pictures tell it all, yes the view is that gorgeous! Great location on the island, easy access to north shore and south or western beaches or destinations. Plenty of shopping nearby (groceries, Costco, souvenirs). While we didn't feel comfortable swimming at the beach directly out front because there were no lifeguards, Lydgate Beach is an easy stroll along the ocean side bike path or 3 minute drive away, which had everything - lifeguards, picnic areas, bathroom facilities, and most importantly, fantastic snorkeling in their "pool", a breakwall created bay with an even shallower side for little kids. Highly recommend getting up early at least one morning on your visit and get there to snorkel before 7:30 or 8am. Other than a few locals, you will have the beach to yourself and the water is much clearer so you will see tons of fish. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
The condo itself was well appointed and quite comfortable for our party of 4. There's all kinds of beach stuff to use - chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and a brand new boogie board we left for the next guest :) - which was so nice to have at hand when you needed it. The property managers always responded to our questions (maybe not lightning fast, but eventually) and their concierge service was invaluable in securing us some activities reservations that we had been unable to lock in ourselves. The complex itself is a quiet oasis, close to everything you need but secluded and dark enough at night to see billions of stars (we could see two planets from our balcony quite easily with the naked eye). Early risers can watch the sunrise from the lanai in their pj's. The pool was on the smallish side but well kept. A jacuzzi would have been a perfect bonus for an after hiking soak, but perhaps I'm getting greedy now! Honestly, that's about the only thing lacking, but it is easily overlooked with so many other plusses. Book it soon, you won't regret it! We hope to return again soon - mahalo!

Very well appointed condo! Beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella provided- such a bonus!! Even a drying rack for clothes and towels!! Such a convenient place to stay! Central on the island, so you’re halfway to Hanalei and half way to Port Allen! Kitchen has everything you would need. Laundry facility clean and efficient. Machines take credit cards only.

This rental has a straight shot view of the ocean. It has a large lanai and good furniture. The unit is larger than most. The furniture is in great shape and comfortable. It is an end unit so is more quiet. Of all the units I saw this visit this was the best, especially for the price. I will try to get this one in the future. The ocean is closer than the pictures show. The location is also great.

Great place to stay. Right on the oceanfront with a concrete pathway for morning walks through the adjacent state park. Saw plenty of birds, chickens and even one monk seal near the water's edge. We would rent this place again.
