This serene estate is named Hululani, or "Heavenly," for its pristine beauty. This truly fabulous home has awesome, panoramic views of the mountains, Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay from virtually every room as well as from the private, saline swimming pool. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, this home's peaceful and serene surroundings let you fully enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean and Kauai's tropical birds.

We have a property manager(Thames) who lives across the street who will do a meet and greet, give you tips on nearby sights and cooking as well as solve any concerns that arise.

As soon as you enter, you will understand this is an unforgettable home. Magnificent views through floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors will captivate you . . . the high ceilings add an extra dimension to the elegance of Hululani. Throughout this 4,500 square foot, two-story home are beautiful furnishings and thoughtful amenities that were carefully chosen for your comfort and convenience. Air conditioning, Mexican tile floors and clever use of marble throughout are among the numerous features that guests really appreciate at Hululani. Upscale landscape lighting allows you to enjoy the gardens well into the evening.

Every room looks out at spectacular views through many huge windows. Step out to the lanai and pool area for a refreshing swim, to luxuriate in your private hot tub or simply relax in the gentle breezes coming in off the ocean. The outside shower and half-bath are a wonderful convenience when you're lounging outdoors or by the pool.

The second living room, or "view room," upstairs gives you large windows at several angles from which to admire nature's splendor and is a wonderful place to watch sunset's colorful skies and enjoy each other's company. The wet bar makes it easy to prepare your favorite tropical beverage while the adjacent game area with its card table invites bridge games and other friendly competitions. On the second level are two master suites with private lanais.

On the main level, there is another master suite, as well as a bedrooom, an office, and a large living/dining room that opens to a covered gourmet BBQ area outdoors. The main level has a large, gourmet kitchen with slab granite counter tops and new appliances as well as many conveniences desired by the most celebrated chefs. The chef in your family will most assuredly delight in preparing favorite recipes here. You may wish to check out Kauai's sunshine markets for fresh, local produce.

Our property has an abundance of great fruits such as papaya trees, Tahitian lime, Meyer lemon, avocado as well as oranges. Feel free to harvest the fruit before the birds consume them. Lots of flowering trees are accentuated by over 60 orchids, white, pink and red gingers as well as heliconia and sitacorams to make your own tropical arrangements.

Hululani is such an excellent choice for your stay on Kauai. You may never want to leave! However, should you decide to venture out from your private paradise, there are many fine restaurants, shops and activities in the area as well as picturesque beaches and spectacular sights island-wide.

Activities nearby include: hiking, biking, golf, tennis, fishing, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, boating, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, shelling, rafting, shopping, cinemas, seasonal swimming, snorkeling, diving and a fitness center.

We had an amazing stay at Hululani. We have stayed in Kauai a number of times before but this was the best accommodation. The yard and views are incredible and made for great family photos. The house annd pool are exactly what it looks like in the photo. Highly recommend!

The views here are amazing. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, so relaxing. The home is completely furnished with everything you can imagine to enjoy your getaway. We had been to Kauai in the past and stayed in Princeville. This time it was me, my husband, 29 year old daughter, 29 year old son in law, 18 month old grandson, 21 year old daughter and her boyfriend. This house was PERFECT!!!! We loved every second of it. It had everything you needed and the location was perfect. The views were the best I have ever had at any vacation home. We even changed our family photos from the beach to the backyard. We hope to visit again! Mahalo!

It has all the amenities you need if you plan to cook at the house along with a tons of beach supplies in the garage. To begin with, the property manager replied to all my inquiries within a business day. She was helpful, informative, and clear. Once we booked, she proactively contacted us to make sure we were on our way, and knew what to do when we arrived. Our key pick up was easy, and we found the house without problem. The next morning, we were visited by our neighbor who introduced himself as our contact if anything were to go wrong. The house itself was lovely. Spacious and open with a variety of sitting areas. The view was spectacular, and the back yard included ripe lemons, limes and avocados for the picking. The beds were all comfortable. If you come, you'll love the house. A car is necessary, though all the amenities of Princeville and Hanalei are close by.

We loved Hululani! The home was immaculate and very good kitchen. Close to Hanalei and many stores. We had plenty of room to spread out, enjoyed the pool and property. Would love to visit again! We usually prefer to try new places, but we loved Hululani so much our previous stay, it was our top choice for returning! The home is clean, spacious & easily fit our group with 3 en-suite bedrooms for the adults & 1 large bedroom for the kids to share. The large kitchen & BBQ area are perfect for meals at home, the house is well-stocked with everything you need. Having an extra fridge in the garage & an outdoor shower to wash off sand was SO handy!! The pool area is fantastic with stunning landscaping & gorgeous views! The upstairs lanai’s & living room have amazing sunset views! This house is a perfect home base!My only recommendation is to convert the door locks to key pads so that the need to stop by & pick up / drop off keys is eliminated.

Spent a week here with my family of 7 adults and a 2 year old. The house has everything you need along with the most incredible views of Hanalei Bay. The back yard is gorgeous and the location to Hanalei is a short 6 minute drive. Will definitely be back.,,,my family loved it and we all had plenty of space to hang out. Bedrooms were very large and spacious, beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and more. Awesome rental!

Reviewer Comments: The property management group was beyond responsive and accommodating to us and the airline changing flight times for our arrival AND departure. The house was beyond the description and the grounds were exceptional. There was six of us staying there and we commented we felt we had room for double that. Fresh lemons, coconuts, avocados, papayas and oranges to pick right in the yard! The pool and hot tub were perfect and the water gardens, grounds and lawn were perfectly maintained. The "rule book" for the home is pretty detailed. You could get caught up in the details but if you basically treat the home as you would your own, all will be well. The property managers next door checked in with us, were responsive to any need and even brought us fresh avocados from their yard. The big bonus was the beach equipment of umbrellas, chairs, snorkels and wake boards all there for our use. Perfect home for us, we plan to return!

But as a "luxury estate" things were lacking.Property manager (not KVR) was unresponsive to requests and the house is showing age as things were broken or not usable. Hot tub out for the whole stay, A/C was sporadic and kept having an error, and when we opened windows a number of screens blew out and flew away! Internet was not strong enough for multiple people doing remote work/school and did not work at all in farther away master suite.Overall however we really liked sitting outside and had a very nice time, would have been 5 star if issues could have been rectified. Pool is mighty cold in April and was counting on hot tub!

Hululani is a very special place. Sipping coffee from the master bedroom balcony and soaking in the views of Hanalei Bay was the perfect start to every morning. As other guests have noted the pictures don’t do this property justice. The house is very spacious, has high ceilings throughout, has all the amenities that you’d expect from a high end rental, and the view is just incredible. Special thanks to the owners & Lucy from Kauai Vacation Rentals for graciously moving the week we visited not once but twice due to the covid pandemic. My family loved our week at Hululani and hope to visit again soon.
