We weren’t able to get the room we booked. Ended up in another room with the AC very loud. I was refunded a quarter of what was paid. But if I was told in advance that I wasn’t able to get the room I actually booked then I would’ve canceled my stay. Overall I don’t think I’ll be using VRBO when staying on Oahu again.

If you are interested in an education on the darker side of Waikiki this is the spot for you. As a woman I wouldn’t stay here alone, as a couple not a romantic get away it is a means to have a roof over your head. The building is not well maintained and the room itself though the bathroom is beautifully upgraded, they are tight quarters with no closet. The neighbors are suspect and neighborhood moderately unsafe. As a previous resident of Oahu, I wouldn’t recommend this location to female only travelers, and highly suggest you only stay here in tandem. The host is abundantly helpful and took every opportunity to rectify my disappointment.

Great location, staff and convenience. Parking was the only issue. Paid extra to rent a space, but twice was really blocked in due to small lot with big cars that parked carelessly.

I stayed 73 days and enjoyed ever minute. An awesome location and the room was very clean and the staff was great. I would definitely return.

This property is perfectly located! A comfortable space to have as a hub for travelling. Great restaurants and shopping in the vacinity! 1/2 block from the beach! Coooool pool, but was so refreshing! Could use some more hooks in the shower for beach attire to hang to dry. Front desk was always happy to help with any questions that we had. Would definitely stay at this location again in the future!!

Our first time visiting Hawaii and so happy with our accommodations here. We went down to the beach 2-3 times a day for boogie boarding and snorkeling. So great that there is snorkeling gear and boogie boards in the room. The place was clean and quiet and the hotel staff were all very nice and friendly. Close to Diamond Head and everything you might need- food convenience stores, coffee and shopping.

Everything was so convenient. Parking and laundry were available on the property. The area was great for walking our dog. Employees were welcoming and friendly.

The room was exactly as described on the website and was clean, and had everything we needed there for our stay. The location is fantastic, a 1 minute walk to the beach and the strip where all the shops and attractions are. We had a great stay there!

The suite is a renovated hotel room with an added kitchen. The renovation is relatively recent with a well designed bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and the location in the building is good in that it faces the mountains (mauka) with a view of Diamond Head, and importantly it has window openings on two sides which allow for a cross breeze. When we stayed there in June 2022 the suite was looking a bit care worn, the light fixture over the counter had a missing shade (naked light bulb) and the ceiling fan had obviously been damaged and made a continual thwack-thwack noise which made its use unbearable after awhile (think of a loud continually dripping tap). The most maddening part of our stay though was the the kitchen. Waikiki is an expensive place and anyone staying longer than a couple of days will likely do some light cooking. We tried to do just that, boiling some corn on the cob on the hot plate, and reheating a bit of stir fry in the microwave. This resulted in the breaker cutting electricity to the whole kitchen. Of course this was in the evening when the maintenance people had left for the day. When he did show up the next day, he reset the breaker and told us that the circuit was shared with the neighboring suite and was underpowered for using the hotplate and microwave together. I checked the suite manual and there was no disclosure of this restriction. The suite manager was not helpful in any respect about this. So while this place had the potential to be great, it was merely "OK". Finally, you pay a premium for a room with a kitchen in Waikiki, rooms without a kitchen are considerably cheaper, so my take is that this place was not as advertised, and we paid too much for what we received.

We are newlyweds and never been to Hawaii. The communication with management was quick and efficient however room and hotel was not what we expected. The bed had some hair on it, the beach chairs were rusty. My husband and I didn’t really feel comfortable. So unfortunately we left after two nights. We informed management that we were checking out early and it was quick and easy, they just responded with thank you, which I was kinda surprised. Anyways the room is so close to the beach but it left us with so much to desire.

Location was great!! The STUDIO was perfect in every way. Great communication about check-in/parking/etc... The pool area could use some upgrading but the beach is right there!!!
