Overall we are satisfied with our stay at this condo. Some positives/negatives for future guests:
Negatives:
- Found tiny bugs in one of the twin beds
- Broken tub drain in the twin bed bathroom
- Appliances are supposedly "new" but I think they were really old (ie. convection oven took over 1 hr to preheat, and the dryer kept beeping due to the filter. It also took forever to dry just 3 towels)
- There wasn't enough paper towels nor toilet paper for our stay (we stayed there for a week); we had to buy our own.
- No hand soap in bathrooms, we had to buy our own.
- Unsure of who to contact for issues (the host via VRBO or resort staff)
Positives:

Recommend updating appliances; they seem outdated or broken (oven and washer and dryer).

Take away the old printer and the little tables under the dining room tv. That area felt crowded. Remove to allow more space for the dining room table and chairs.

Our stay was perfect here! The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living area were very clean and set up was nice for the 7 of us! We enjoyed the beach towels, chairs, and cooler that were provided as well. The lanie had comfortable table and chairs to enjoy the views while relaxing or eating. Any questions we had were answered in a timely fashion, and we would definitely visit again! The pool area and lagoon were perfect for relaxing after a day of sight seeing around the island. Mahalo!

Thank you for the visit. The good: Beautiful view, great outside dining table, loved all of the beach accessories, nice sheets and great restaurants close buy. Lots of awesome walking paths along the lagoons. Many small appliances at your disposal. We noticed a lot of accessories for children (high chair, etc). Loved that a wagon was supplied also. Our suggestions: tile on shower floors could use deep cleaning. Inside dining table was not clean upon arrival. Oven and stove slow to heat up. Refrigerator leaked fluid for a couple days. The touchless faucet in the kitchen is nice, in theory, but is on a motion sensor so frequently turned on when we didn’t want it on. Dryer takes several cycles to dry. It would be great it a few more food storage items were available.

Our family has just returned from staying in this beautiful villa located in an amazing area. Everyone we came in contact with was extremely helpful. The home is just beautiful with everything that you could possibly need. We travel with two small children and did not need to bring anything with us. Great appliances, great lanai, great location. This condo was very nice, almost too nice for 18 months old. Although pack-and-plays and cribs were provided. Good tableware options for kiddos as well. Walkable to beach, golf, restaurants and shops. We were in Ko’Olina for 2 weeks without a car. We’ve stayed in the area many times. Would return to this condo.

If/when we vacation on Oahu again, Thu will be the 1st person I call for availability of this unit. Our family of 6, plus an infant, were welcomed with charm, and steadfast in accommodations. Clean unit, roomy, up to date, offering a beautiful quiet view of the "quiet" pool and ocean.

This rental was amazing, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms we were completely relaxed the entire time we were there. There was even a stroller, pack n play, and a wagon available for hauling all the towels and beach toys to the lagoon. We loved every aspect of our stay here. Parking was easy, (parking spot in the garage is close to elevators). My biggest advice if you come to stay here is to stock up on groceries. This rental has a full kitchen and There are not too many food options in the area (and for a family of five it can be expensive eating out daily) and I had a hard timing finding good options on DoorDash. Will be recommending this unit to family and plan on staying here for future stays!

Great condo that I would definitely stay at again. It is well maintained and equipped, has beautiful views, great lanai and overall very spacious for our group of 6 adults. Very friendly and helpful staff that made check in and check out a breeze. The property is well maintained, great pools, loved the lagoon area for hanging out at the beach and a fun tiki bar with live music Tuesday & Friday evening. Highly recommend this resort and unit!!!!

This was truly paradise! The entire venue was wonderful. Extremely clean and had everything we needed. From beach toys, to a toddler stool and potty seat, to pots and bland etc. Lynn was very responsive and kind. I noticed some of the properties had beach wagons and coolers. I asked Lynn if the home had them or if she could share where I could rent one. She went over and above and purchased the beach wagon and cooler the very next day! The staff at the beach villa were very friendly as well. I definitely will be returning to the beach villas the next time we come to Hawaii. Would highly recommend.

My siblings and spouses were planning on taking our 94 year old mother. She passed away shortly before our scheduled trip. We decided to go in memory and celebration of her life. This is the first time in many years we all traveled together. The place was a great location as well as the amenities.
The grounds, pools and hot tubs were wonderful. The condo was clean and very comfortable. The view from our lanai was just spectacular. I would surely stay here again in the future.

Truly enjoyed everything about this trip and where we stayed. Our Oceanview unit gave us breathtaking views of the sunset and the grounds alone were gorgeous!! The beds were amazing, the dishwasher was the quietest we have ever experienced and we could sit on the lanai and soak in the views for hours.

Our family of 18 rented 3 different units at the Beach Villas. This unit was exactly as described. The views were amazing. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. And the unit had lots of beach toys, so we didn’t have to purchase anything. The location was wonderful, close to great food and an easy drive to the other parts of the island. Great place to stay in a great location. Unless you like the waterpark atmosphere, a big plus here is the quiet beach and pool area compared to other nearby resorts and lagoons. Our unit was spacious, well maintained, clean, and well equipped. The underground reserved parking space was close to the elevator, maybe 50ft away, making driving in and out very convenient. Nearby town Kapolei has everything from big box stores to little shops and restaurants. Would love to stay here again.

The location inside the Ko’olina resort area is perfect, right along the second of four lagoons. Walking distance to an ABC store for miscellaneous items and groceries, Monkeypod and other restaurants, and the golf course. Because it’s a smaller complex, it’s not as busy and crowded as some of the neighboring resorts and lagoon areas, which is a win! The ability to go back and forth between the pool and lagoon kept my kids (ages 4-8) entertained all day long for multiple days. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking was a breeze, although you don’t even need a car if you don’t plan on going to other sight seeing locations. Everything you need is within walking distance. If you plan on doing lots of sight seeing, you’ll want to factor in 45+ mins to get anywhere, since it’s on the far west side of the island and most other attractions (Diamond Head, Waikiki, Dole Plantation, North Shore, etc.) are at least a 45 min drive. Pearl Harbor is about 20-25 minutes. Costco and Safeway are one exit up the freeway (about 10-15 min drive). The condo came loaded with everything you need for the beach: TONS of snorkel gear (including kid sizes), a cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, kid life vests, flotation devices, etc. It also had a high chair, two pack n’ plays, and a stroller. We would definitely come back! Great for a family trip or a group of couples. The three bedrooms were great, each with their own bathroom. Also, the ocean view from the room was beautiful!

Our family had a wonderful stay. The Beach Villas are ideally located within the resort so that everything is within relatively close walking distance. I considered several 3 bedroom units prior to booking, and what I specifically liked about this unit was the furniture placement in the living area. It was the most functional. This was the only unit I saw with a large U shaped sofa. This was perfect for relaxing and our family movie nights. I personally prefer tropical / beachy décor, but that is just personal taste. The unit itself was well stocked with everything that you need for your stay. Thu and her team were extremely responsive and easy to work with. We enjoyed our time out here and my only regret is that we didn't book a longer stay!

We really enjoyed our stay and had a great time. Bedding and towels were great quality. Only a couple of minor issues with some stove top burners really slow to heat up and finding a sock under a chair that didn't belong to our party. Also we did not have cell service so when we realized the phones didn't work in the unit to call our car rental company it was too late to get them fixed before our departure.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beach Villas at Ko Olina . The communication between the owner and property manager via email was outstanding. I cannot think of a question that was not answered or needed clarification on. The property manager even called me the night before we were to arrive to make sure everything was good. He met us at the check in, took our luggage to the room and he explained all the appliances.
The condo was beautiful, the views outstanding. We had 3 master bedrooms with their own bathroom. The beds, pillows and linens were soft and comfortable.
I can't say enough good things about our stay ! The pools , the beach, the outdoor grill, the gym, sauna, koi pond. It has Everything you can ask for !

The rooms were large, with ceiling fans, and air conditioning throughout. Large double sliding glass doors opened the whole kitchen and dining room to the lanai, so the inside joined the outside. The view of the ocean was great, as well as the pools. The facilities were great, and the staff worked to resolve any problem quickly and graciously. We enjoyed our time there very much.

This was our first visit to Ko Olina, and the resort, as well as the condo was wonderful! This was a family vacation and we had everything we needed to make ourselves at home, all the while enjoying the beautiful island of Oahu. The condo is nicely furnished and having baby items already in the condo is a definite plus for our infant granddaughter. Additional items for use at the beach (i.e. rafts, chairs, snorkels) are definitely a "plus". The layout of the condo is perfect for the whole family and the view overlooking the quiet pool is perfect for enjoying sipping morning coffee on the lanai. The grounds are well kept and the staff is amazing! We were able to work with Shane prior to our arrival in order to get some of the check-in details worked out. He was very accommodating once we arrived. We would definitely plan another trip and stay at Ko Olina. Working with Thu was great, she answered all of our questions prior to our arrival and provided us with additional information about the resort and of the surrounding area. Thank you for sharing your condo with our family. We look forward to returning again in the near future.

The condo was the perfect place for our small family vacation and is a relaxing option away from the noisy and populated Honolulu. The condo was wonderful, with a full kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. All the bedrooms were comfortable with good sized rooms and gorgeous bath facilities. Every morning we'd open up the lanai and have our coffee and breakfast out on the balcony.
The villas have two different pools to choose from which our kids loved as they were warmer than the ocean. Wonderful walking trails connect the hotels to one another and the calm coves are a great place to swim.

This was my family's second visit to the Ko Olina Beach Villas, but in a different unit and we had a great time! We were there for 2 weeks including Christmas and New Year's. The unit is spacious and has nice views of the quiet pool and the lagoon. The kitchen is well equipped with high end appliances, however the cabinets are starting to show quite a bit of wear and tear. I liked the set up of this unit with the dining room table next to the island leaving more space for the TV area, which is different from some of the other 3 bedroom units. The couch has probably reached the end of its useful life, but it was large and still pretty comfy. The bedrooms were all nicely outfitted with good quality bedding, however some of the pillows need to be replaced. The lanai area was great for relaxing and had 2 lounge chairs, plus the 4 chairs and table and another bistro set outside the master bedroom. We could also check out the quiet pool area to see if there were chairs available before heading down. It wasn't usually a problem to get chairs, however it was much busier between Christmas Eve and New Year's than the week before. There was always lots of room on the beach though and the water is just as warm as the pool. Unfortunately the compressor in the heat pump blew out from a power surge on Christmas Day and it took about 5 days to fix so there was no air conditioning in the main area and 2 bedrooms during that time. We had to keep all of the blinds closed during the day and fans running, but it wasn't too bad. There could have been better communication from the onsite staff, but it sounds like there were problems in a lot of units from the power surge so it kept them pretty busy. I would definitely stay in this unit again though since it was a great location and easy to get to the 2 parking spots. This complex is well situated within the Ko Olina area so it's easy to walk to restaurants and explore the other resorts, and also a quick drive into Kapolei for shopping and a little bit further to the outlets (and Leonard's malasadas!). I hope to come back to Ko Olina in a couple of years and see how the proposed hotel/condo developments around the Beach Villas impact the experience. Hopefully it won't end up being too crowded along there, but it might make the beach a lot busier. It's definitely a lovely spot though!

Great location, beautiful property and unit. We were there with four teenagers. During our week stay we were laying out what we wanted to do, and the girls wanted one day to just hang at the condo and beach! The only improvement I can really think of would be to have a stronger capacity washer and dryer. However, that was still manageable.
I would recommend this place and this particular unit. You have to drive no matter where you are on Oahu and this got us out of some of the mass traffic and felt more like I was in Hawaii instead of the mainland.

Everything worked as it is supposed to be on vacation: easy and nice. A representative from the property management team met us at the front desk, showed where to park our car, accompanied us to the apartment, explained how to use the utilities, answered all our questions about dinning, shopping and beach activities. The apartment itself is fantastic: clean, roomy, fully equipped. The location - next to the four beautiful lagoons - is exceptional. The view from the balcony is outstanding - you can spend a week sitting there. We - three couples - felt very comfortable there and enjoyed every minute of our vacation.

I rented this property for 1 week in July. My son got married at the Aulani and other family members stayed there and at the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Resort. Our condo was the best of the 3 and was great! The unit itself was perfect! 3 nice bedrooms and 3 nice bathrooms and a large kitchen/living/dining area and balcony exactly as represented in the photos and description. Thu was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the process and quickly responded to all of my emails and promptly and thoroughly answered every question I had! This was my best vrbo experience thus far! I will agree with other reviewers that the entire complex closes down at 9 pm and we did get a couple of requests to quiet down but nothing we didn't expect as our family visits on the balcony didn't usually end until midnight due to enjoying the beautiful Ko Olina setting. Also, I had a few issues with the Resort Business Manager, Jennise Sylva, regarding rental of the Owners Lounge for our welcome party, but other than her, everyone else at the complex was a pleasure to work with. Thank you Thu (and Patrick Park from Property Stars Management Team!) for all of your help, a beautiful unit, and for a wonderful vacation in Paradise!

We stayed 8 nights at this well-appointed and resort-type property, which had great views of the pools below (mostly the lap pool, which was prettier than it sounds), lagoon 3 (of 4) in front of the neighboring Marriott Beach Club resort, and the ocean beyond, with palm trees scattered throughout. We arrived during the last week of May, a little pre-summer season, and it was pretty quiet. The 3-bedroom very easily accommodated our family of 5 (two adults, two pre-teen boys, one older adult) with three bathrooms, a large lanai, and plenty of couch seating in the open floorplan living/ dining/ kitchen. The dishwasher and washer/dryer were appreciated, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The master suite was very nice and private, and each room had ample closet space. There were two large bath tubs, two walk-in showers, and a large closet full of various beach toys and equipment including boogie boards and snorkel gear, plus a cooler for day trips. The fitness center is good with some serious a/c. There were also several beach towels in the master bath cabinet for guest use. We found it lacking nothing, and was always a welcome place to come back to in the afternoon after a busy morning and day out. Despite being a somewhat isolated resort area (if you call being within walking distance of the Aulani, Marriott and Four Seasons isolated!), Oahu attractions weren't far--all within 90 minutes at most--30ish minutes to Honolulu, 20 to Pearl Harbor. Freeway access is within a 3 minute drive. Right up the street is a small shopping center with some stores, a great little hair salon (Hello Gorgeous!) if you couldn't squeeze a cut in before vacation, and a variety of dining options--a lively American-style bar/ restaurant, a pizza/ pasta place, sushi, Mexican, coffee shop/ bakery, ice cream shop and a decently - stocked grocery store that had a good deli and wine/beer/spirits, to take back to the Beach Villa. Plus spam masubi!
Our emails with Thu were helpful and pleasant, and we enjoyed Patrick Park who was very informative and cordial upon our arrival. There are some HOA rules to follow (no beachwear or towels on the lanai, quiet in the lap pool, parking guidelines)--though those weren't a big deal.
We found this to be a peaceful resort alternative to Waikiki with just enough liveliness if you're seeking that. The lagoons are calm and excellent for children. Some snorkeling opportunities, too. We would recommend this unit & resort!

The resort area is beautiful. It has everything you need. Very clean. Beds were big and comfortable. A 15 minute drive to Kapolei has lots of restaurants and grocery stores. Staying here was very relaxing. However, going downtown to Waikiki was a 45 minute drive on a no traffic day, with traffic 1.5 hour drive.

This is the second time we have stayed here in the past 3 years and both vacations were absolutely amazing. This place is truly one of a kind and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a high end, truly relaxing Hawaiian vacation. My family rented a 3 bedroom condo for our stay at Ko' Olina. It was the best vacation ever! The unit is absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful view of the ocean. Everything was so private during our stay. My kids loved the swimming pools, and the lagoons. They swam everyday and our unit had everything that we needed and more. We were planning to stay at Aulani and our friend gave us the recommendation here. Boy! Am I glad I did. We walked over to Aulani and there were too many people. The Lagoon at the Ko Olina Villa was much more private, less people and easy and close access to our condo. The lagoons are so beautiful and the water is crystal clear.
Costco and other shopping areas and many restaurants are close by. We went to get shave ice down the street. There's even an ABC store close by if you need to get quick grocery.
My family had an amazing time. We decided that this will be a yearly tradition. The staff are so friendly and hands on whenever you need them. The facility is immaculately clean.
I would highly recommend this place vs. Aulani. You have so much peace and quiet in this area. That's why it was paradise for us. Thank you Ko Olina Beach Villa.

We stayed in this very modern and clean three bedroom condo with our friends who have kids the same age as ours and it couldn't be more perfect.
Pools, lagoons, restaurants, ice cream, shave ice and even a luau within walking distance. We had a few meals at the Aulani next door and began to appreciate how much more peaceful and relaxing the Ko Olina Villas was in comparison.
The unit had everything we needed from washer/dryer to rice cooker to beach chairs and toys. By the end of the week we realized we had eaten-in nearly every night because of how comfortable it was and how convenient it is to pick up food at the many nearby stores (costco, food land, target).
This is the perfect way to travel with young children. Can't wait to come back!

Just returned from our much planned family vacation at Ko Olina. The location is absolutely fabulous. Not a lot of traffic and so relaxing. Resort was beautiful with gorgeous grounds and beach. Morning coffee on the lanai and evenings relaxing on the lanai with a glass of wine - absolute heaven. Whales frolicking off shore were a special treat. The beds were sooo comfortable and the beach chairs, toys and extras were very much appreciated. Only negatives I have is the dryer which never really dries your clothes and basically had to hang everything and perhaps the dishwasher which didn't do a good job which was not really the fault of the dishwasher but the powdered soap and lack of rinse agent which left us having to redo or wash by hand.

We just returned from a wonderful week at the Ko Olina Beach Villas. (My husband, two boys, age 15 and 10, and I). We had never been to this area before and were hoping the resort would meet the expectations we had. It definitely exceeded them!!! The resort was absolutely amazing, our villa was extremely luxurious with super comfortable beds, and the property managers were most helpful right from the beginning when we were greeted upon arrival. You can expect to drive 40 minutes to the North Shore, East Shore or Waikiki, but we rented a car and didn't mind. However, it was actually difficult to leave the resort as the pool and lagoons were better than we ever expected. Costco, Target, Walmart and Safeway are all a quick 5 minute drive away. We would not hesitate to go back, and hope it can be sooner rather than later!

Our unit at Ko Olina Beach Villas was exactly as advertised, maybe better! The condo was well equipped, mattresses were extremely comfortable, plenty of towels, and the lanai was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine! The grounds of Ko Olina Beach Villas are very well maintained, in fact, we took tons of pictures of the plants, goldfish, etc.! Beach chairs, snorkeling gear, small cooler were all provided and appreciated! The grounds are secure to a fault, as you need your key card for every single door (kind of a hassle, but we eventually got used to it!). Probably the only downside to this rental is the location. It is on the west side of the island and most of the touristy things to do are on the east/north. So a 45 minute drive to most things we did. However, we knew this going in and still chose this place! The owners and management were helpful and patient. The rental was seamless! You can't go wrong with this rental!

My family of six adults and two small children loved our stay in our three bed, three bath unit at the Ko Olina Beach Villa. It was very quiet and relaxing in and around the condos. We had friends staying at the Disney property next door which we visited and were glad we chose to stay at the Villas. One of the things we really appreciated was the level of security provided. Our family enjoyed every single minute of our stay in this Beach Villas Resort condo! Our two bedroom two bath luxury condo was exactly as pictured yet well beyond our expectations. It was our first VRBO experience & the owners were patient, kind, & both quick & generous with information to help our decision process. So glad I committed! The condo was so spacious & well designed we seriously wanted to stay forever. The management team & all employees of the resort were friendly, helpful & available at all times. The Aloha spirit clearly evident! Each of us found our own piece of paradise -- my husband - the many opportunities nearby to golf, my daughter the pools & lounge furniture, & for me -- swimming or simply floating in the beauftiful water in the lagoon. We also enjoyed entertaining a group of friends in our spacious living area, watching the sunset from our fabulous lanai, easy access to Aloha Stadium (no traffic), convenient shopping in Kopolei, & the short drive to the North Shore. We absolutely will return to this exact spot -- I'm just hoping it will be available!

My husband and I arranged a trip for our grown children and teenaged grandchildren. It was to celebrate our fiftieth wedding anniversary. I worried about pleasing everyone with accommodations, as well as picking the right area of Oahu. I could not have made a better choice. We stayed three days in Honolulu then went to Pearl Harbor on the way to Ko Olina. Ko Olina is a beautiful area. We went to the Aloha Stadium swap meet and the Polynesian Cultural Center--all accessible without going back to Honolulu. No one wanted to leave the resort for anymore sightseeing. While at the beach villas we spent many hours at the lagoons (Honu is the best). Every night, the kids went down to the pools until they closed. They did rent kayaks and SUP's next door at the Disney lagoon. We also went to the last lagoon behind Paradise Cove. Lots of turtles there. We saw a monk seal in our lagoon. We have a ton of wonderful pictures.
I was a little worried after reading the reviews about all the rules and "mean" security people at the resort. We never had a problem and felt totally relaxed and secure while walking about the grounds. The staff were all so pleasant.
As far as the beach villa, the listing description and photos did not do the property justice. It was all I had hoped for and more and the family was very impressed. The villa was very clean and comfortable, especially the beds.
It was the best family vacation we have ever taken. Thank you Thu for providing such a wonderful place to stay and for making the rental process so easy. My daughter was already talking about coming back. I hope that will happen.

My wife and I wanted some friends from Madrid, Spain to experience Hawaii. We wanted to find a location that was away from the crowds of downtown Honolulu, yet was in close proximity to all the attractions. Ko Olina Beach Resort offers this and more. Ko Olina is an approximate 30 minute drive to the airport, and 45 minutes to Waikiki Beach. This unit accommodated six adults comfortably, and the view was fantastic. The furnishings were all fairly new as were the linens, etc. There are several restaurants nearby as well as a small grocery store. Thu, the owner was extremely easy to work with most of our correspondence being done via email. Thu quickly answered any questions and made the rental a pleasant experience. Once we returned home our deposit was received within two weeks. If you want to experience luxury accommodations during you stay on Oahu for a reasonable price, then I highly recommend staying at Ko Olina.

We have been to Oahu several times over the years, and though all our visits have been great, this one was the best. We stayed for a week at the 3 bedroom condo, and it was everything that we had hoped for, and more!
The location is GREAT-- balcony/lanai with clear views of the pools and the ocean, very short walk to the beach, convenient parking, etc. The property had a nice open layout and was clean and well-maintained, the amenities were top-notch, and we loved the fact that many essentials (from cookware and condiments down to laundry detergent) were provided. Having gym access was also a HUGE plus, as I work out almost every day (please note that not all owners at Ko Olina Beach Villas have gym access).
Also important to us is an owner's communication and customer service. Thu was very responsive to all our questions prior to, during, and after our stay, and always making sure everything was ok. Cannot ask for anything better than that.
We will definitely be returning again, and would also recommend this property to friends, family, and anyone else looking for a luxury at a reasonable price...

I started planning for a trip to Hawaii in August 2012. I looked for hotel accommodations on the island of Oahu. My husband wanted to stay off the beaten path so I did some researching and found Ko Olina. I called the resort and the prices for the condos were very pricey . After reading the reviews, it was recommended to rent from private owners to save money. I found Thu Throng who explained everything in detail. We arrived at the unit on July 8,2013. This property is about a 30-minute drive from the airport with no traffic and about 1 hour in traffic. I’m from Chicago so driving in traffic is not a big deal. Blaine helped with our luggage and escorted us to the unit. He showed us how to work everything in the condo. The condo was exactly as pictured. We stayed in beach tower 1003 which had a perfect view of the ocean. It had two bedrooms with two baths. The kitchen was nicely appointed with top of the line appliances. Everything needed to cook except food was in the kitchen including spices. The bathrooms were large which included a hair dryer, two bathrobes and a first aid kit. The beds were very comfortable. They also provided boogie boards, snorkel gear, a cooler and beach chairs. We had two free parking spaces but only needed one. The parking space was by the elevator, which was very convenient. Wal-Mart is about 10 minutes away along with other stores. Ko Olina has a private lagoon, which was great for young kids. There is a bar on the property along with gas grills which we used once. I received my security deposit back with-in a week which was great. I will definitely return to this unit BT 1003.

We stayed on the 2BR, 2BA condo on the 2nd floor, but were told to put our review here since the owner has both.
The place on the 2nd floor is nicely furnished with a great balcony looking down on the pool where you can see the ocean in the distance. The grounds are nicely kept and right on one of the half circle bays, so going out to the beach was easy. The surrounding area is very nice and away from the hustle bustle of Waikiki. You can walk over to the Aulani resort, some restaurants and the JW Marriot very near by. We went to Target in the next town over for groceries and had all of the kitchen tools we needed to prepare meals. It was nice to find that there were basics like dishwasher soap, detergent, tp, paper towels, basic spices and more already there. For the beach, there was 2 boogie boards (nice since I have 2 kids) and a cooler, but only 1 beach chair and no umbrella (which would have been nice to have for when we drove out to the north shore beaches). Still, those are not really expected, so I appreciated having some of those items.
The only minor nit I had with our unit was that the parking spot was in the next building over and way at the bottom in the back. You had to drive around and down, around and down and around again to park, then you had to come up the elevator, walk over to our building and and take another elevator up to the unit. A closer parking spot would be great.
In terms of the booking process, Thu was great to work with. Almost everything was done via email, except the mailing of checks. The materials she emailed explained everything we needed to know and my full deposit was refunded in a timely manner after checkout. If I go to Oahu again, I would definitely stay here again.

We spent 10 days at the Beach Villas in Ko Olina. The property was listed and photograhed accurately, and the owner answered all our questions quickly. This is a very high quality property that is very well maintained. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Marcie and Derrick, the bartenders at the lovely bar that sits between the pool and lagoon, are the best!! They make yummy non-alcoholic blended drinks for the kids, and great Mai Tais for the adults!
The location, on lagoon two, is lovely. As the only property on this lagoon, it is nice and quiet. There is a path connecting all four lagoons which makes for a nice walk, and easy access to restaurants in the adjoining resorts. The Beach Villas have two nice pools, the "quiet" pool nested in between three of the towers, and the "lagoon" pool. We didn't really use the quiet pool as it was too sedate for the kids, and was too shaded in the mornings. The kids enjoyed playing in the lagoon pool, although they wished there was a slide or something a little more exciting. They enjoyed the beach, and we felt it was very safe as a protected lagoon. However, my boys are 9 and 11 and really prefer the excitement of boogie boarding, which really can't be done effectively in the lagoon. It's too protected from the waves - which can be seen crashing against the rock retaining walls. Fun to watch though!
It was nice being away from the craziness of Waikiki Beach, yet still having easy access to the highway to get to all the activities. There is a Safeway and Costco nearby so we were able to take advantage of the kitchen in our unit. Overall we had a very nice, relaxing vacation in Ko Olina and would recommend it mostly to families with young children, or older adults who want someplace quiet to chill out.

We stayed in Ko Olina from March 7-17th, 2013 and we absolutely LOVED it! The pictures do not do it justice. We travelled with our three kids (13,10 + 5) and mother in law. Plenty of space for everyone, completely safe. The beach and the pools were amazing. The grounds and the unit were immaculate.
Also loved that you could get to the North Shore in less than 1/2 an hour. Target, Foodland + Costco are 10 minutes away. The Monkey Pod restaurant was great. Checked out the Disney Aulani while we were there and all three of my kids said they would never want to stay there as they all thought the Beach Villas were way nicer and the beach was far less crowded. Spent our last three nights in Waikiki because we thought the kids would want more night life...wrong! They all wanted to go back to Ko Olina. Planning our trip for next year!

First, your beautiful condo, loaded with luxurious amenities, then the privacy, security, cleanliness, helpful and attentive friendliness of staff and peaceful atmosphere of the resort were nothing less than idyllic. Our family spent many hours on your spacious lanai, enjoying the sweeping views. Our 21/2 year old grandson enjoyed the wading pool and the quiet lagoon. Nature seemed to abound everywhere - from giant sea turtles and colorful fish while snorkeling to watching whales surfacing and spouting as we gazed out to the ocean from the lanai. We enjoyed utilizing the gas BBQs for several home dinners but also frequently went out to local restaurants. Honolulu and Waikiki were close enough for many shopping trips and visits to great sushi restaurants. Our vacation to Hawaii this year was made even more spectacular by staying at the Ko Olina Beach Villas! Fully loaded kitchen, beautiful bathrooms, great sized bedrooms and living room, and a great lanai where we could just sit out and read our books. My 2-year-old son loved being able to run in and out, all over. We were incredibly blessed to be able to stay here.
We actually stayed at one of Thu's 2BR/2BA condos, and everything was perfect. Dealing with Thu was easy and delightful. And the staff at the property were helpful and friendly. I will definitely look at staying here again, or just using Thu for any of my vacation needs in the future!

If you want luxurious amenities with owner privacy, and want more space than small over priced hotel rooms with large Disney crowds, this is the perfect getaway. I've been to Hawaii at least 30 times and this is the second time I have gone back to Ko Olina. I took my family for an early Christmas vacation, best gift ever! With two kids, they never lacked for activities. Beautiful views, lovely top of the line villa, nice and clean pools, and a close walk to the most perfect beach and a long board walk for jogging or strolling. The gardens throughout the property were beautiful and immaculate. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive. I had one of the best massages ever. Security is a top priority for this place, so be prepared to have your key ready for multiple access points along this property. The owner Thu was very helpful in making our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. She was always available for us. We would definitely come back and have told our friends. Thank you!

We were a group of 5 adults and 3 children (under 2) and we stayed in Thu's 9th floor condo. Our stay was over Christmas and New Years, and as advertised the condo is absolutely amazing.
There is a great ocean view from the balcony and the condo kitchen is fully stocked with every kitchen item you could ever need. There was boogie boards, sand toys, snorkle gear and a rollable cooler also available in the condo. We stocked up on groceries at the Safeway and Costco that are near by and cooked most of our meals in the condo. There are restaurants that are really close by but nothing directly at the resort. The pools are very nice and lagoon is awesome. The wave breaks allow the kids to play without fear, and the snorkelling is pretty amazing with turtles and plenty of fish to see.
I would highly recomend booking with Thu as she was a real treat to book with, and was very prompt to respond to any question we had. All in all it was a great time, and we would certainly love to go back as soon as we can.

Just a GREAT place. Thu has a fabulous condo on the 9th floor of the Beach Tower - great views, perfect setup, beautiful accommodations AND a very helpful, responsive host! Also, the condo has body boards for those adventurous enough to try it. Sand toys for the kids came in handy as did the beach umbrella :)
We stayed with family and all loved it! We look forward to being able to stay there again as soon as we can.

We stayed here earlier this month and it was fabulous. Great ocean view, killer lanai and all of the amenities you could want. We loved that we had space to spread out while still being in a luxury unit. Everything was great- the apartment was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, plenty of beach toys and towels etc. And renting from someone that was part of the RMC was especially nice because we could charge drinks at the bar, massages on site and the staff at the resort was very responsive and accomodating of any requests. We were a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and my brother rented another unit with his family of 4 and it made for a great vacation.
Overall a fabulous location and vacation. Will certainly plan to come back next year.

After months and months of online researching we came across the beautiful Beach Villas of Ko'Olina. Truth be told they seemed too good to be true, but upon arrival everything was as spectacular as the pictures. Security was top notch, rooms were spacious and the overall place was clean and accommodating. My family included 6 adults and 2 children which we fit very comfortable in the 3 bed/3 bath condo. The condo was upgraded from top to bottom with sleek and modern touches and included almost everything you can think of from beach chairs to laundry/dish soap and good quality kitchen appliances/utensils to do our own cooking. The Ko'Olina area itself is very secluded and private yet close enough to the action of Waikiki/Honolulu! I will defiantly be visiting and staying here in the future and recommend it to any future visitors! A special thanks to the owner, Thu, your home is truly a piece of paradise and my family and I enjoyed our stay. We look forward to booking with you in the future!

Our family had just returned from a wonderful week in Oahu. We had stayed at JW Marriott hotel during our first trip, but this time we decided to try out the Ko Olina Beach Villas, and we are very happy that we had stayed at the Villas. Since we have 5 persons in our group, the Villas was a perfect match for us and the units were much more than we had expected. Due to availability, Thu, the owner, arranged for us to stay in 2 units: a 3-bedroom for 4 nights and 2-bedroom for 3 nights in the Ocean Tower. Both units are luxurious, beautiful, clean, ultra-modern, stylishly designed with elegant lighting and furniture. The beds are comfy while the bathrooms are large with walk-in closet, shower, and sunken bathtub. The kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances and features a beautiful counter top where we enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner. The pantry is full of utensils, plates, and even has a rice cooker in both units (we need our white rice fix by the 3rd day). There’s a flat-screen TV in every room, and both units come equipped with beach chairs, mats, and boogie boards. The Villa has two pools with Koi ponds surrounded by attractive landscapes that are well maintained by the staff. There are 4 BBQ grills which are utilized every afternoon. I had trouble lighting the grill and two staff members came over to help. Our owner belongs to the Resort Management Company so we were able to check out unlimited towels and had access to the fitness gym. The staff of RMC was very helpful and accommodating. They arranged for our luggage and food stuff to be transferred between the 2 units while we were out. The locker rooms in the gym are kept immaculate. On our last day, we were able to use the fitness center to shower and change after we checked out in the morning. The Villa is right in front of Lagoon 2 for an easy walk to the beach. Even though it’s man-made, the snorkeling by the rocks will surprise you with a variety of fish. We spotted a sea turtle swimming near the rocks when we snorkeled on the last day. Costco and Target are just a couple mile away, and the Kapolei shopping center features Safeway, Longs Drugs, a Pho restaurant (we could not live without our Pho for too long). Thu, the owner , was very helpful and responsive. She wanted to make sure that we had a great time. After staying at the Villas, we doubt that we will stay at a hotel again. We will definitely come back, and we have told our family and co-workers about her units.

Our first stay 3 years ago was amazing! It exceeded our (high) expectations. We had to go back! Only this time we stayed for 11 days, and it was still just as I remembered. This beautiful property is sure to meet all your expectations.
We really enjoyed having a Mai Tai in the sandy hot tub, snorkeling with the turtles in the lagoon, BBQ-ing by the pools, and being far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. You can be in any corner of the island in 40 minutes from this location. We have covered it all, and it was stressfree and easy.
The amenities are luxurious and have everything you need and then some (Wolf appliances...HELLO). The pictures don't lie. Actually they are understated. The owner (Thu) has done a great job in keeping her property up and current. She recently changed the mattresses and my sons have NEVER slept better. Everything about this condo is top of the line. You get what you pay for, and in this case more. I have been recommending this condo to those interested in staying on Oahu for 3 years now, and I will continue to recommend it. It really doesn't get any better.

Gabriela met us at the reception area, acquaninted us with the surrounding area and delivered us to Paradise. Our groceries were there, water/ beverages chilling and a complete list of everything we needed to make our stay outstanding was waiting for us. She spent just the right amount of time helping us become comfortable in our new home. How very fortunate for you and your guests to have Gabriela's services. We were very impressed with both the cleanliness of the condo as well as how beautifully it is decorated. All of the appliances in the unit are state-of-the-art. We loved to sit and relax out on the balcony with the wonderful view. The pictures and description on the site depict it well. Additionally, it is in close proximity to the Roy's Restaurant (good food!) and the JW Marriott. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend renting this condo to anyone!

From the beginning, I knew I wanted our vacation to be special and memorable since I also invited my in-laws and dad to join my wife, 2 daughters, and me. We were not disappointed!
Part of the planning was searching for a great place that was spacious enough for all of us to stay together. Well, simply put, I can't believe how lucky I was to find this 3 bedroom/3 bath unit. The unit is immaculate and beautifully decorated as well as extremely functional and comfortable. The views of the pools, lagoon, and ocean from the balcony and most windows are stunning. Prior to renting and during the rental period I mostly dealt with Thu (owner) and Eric and they provided extensive amounts of information about the unit itself, the local area, and the resort amenities. Any questions I had prior to our arrival and during our stay were promptly and courteously addressed.
From the moment we arrived to the property, we were struck by the beauty of the property area and that was only reinforced when we walked in to our rental. We stayed for 17 great days and my in-laws, dad, wife, and 2 daughters are still thanking me for the wonderful vacation. We did many wonderful activities and sightseeing all over the island and one of the highlights was just lounging around the our rental and the property amenities. On a whim we would just walk to the pools and beach; on most days both just because we could.
The time we spent together in what is now our best vacation ever has left us with cherished memories. I would not hesitate to return and I have been raving about Thu's wonderful place to all my friends and family. The words "I'm jealous" keep coming up when we describe the vacation and show pictures of our vacation place.

Our family stayed at Thu's place in August 2010. We absolutely LOVED it! We stayed in the 3 bedroom condo and it had every amenity you could possibly want in a vacation rental!
It was decorated beautifully, the location was awesome, the views were breathtaking and the property was immaculate. Everything you and your family could possibly need was inside the condo. From beach toys, to the fully stocked kitchen, we found the place to be perfect!
We have already referred our friends to Thu's place and our friends are thrilled with the accommodations as well!
The location is close to the waterpark which is a great activity if you have kids. It is literally 5 minutes away by car. Target and other restaurants are 1 freeway exit away and there is a convenient ABC store within the property grounds, if you just need a few items.
If you want a great experience with top of the line accommodations, rent from Thu and you will not be disappointed! Thu is responsive and will provide all the info you need to have a great vacation!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom condo on the 4th floor with lots of extras. We loved opening up the doors and eating out on the balcony. The resort is so great that we ended up spending more time at the condo instead of going out.
The pools and outdoor bbq areas are great. The location is very convenient and Costco and Safeway are close by.
The owner is a pleasure to deal with. Emails were answered promptly and so was the refund of the damage deposit.
The only small complaint we have is that the parking spot is quite far from the condo and presents difficulties if you have to carry small children or babies from the car to the condo.
Also, the check out time is too strict. We had a late flight on the checkout date and we requested a later checkout. We were only given 2 hours extension and the cleaning lady was ringing the door bell right at 12 noon. It was difficult if you are travelling with a small baby. Our friends at a different condo in the same complex was given the whole afternoon to spend in the condo.
However, the overall experience was wonderful and we would not hesitate to come back and would recommend this condo to anyone.

Having a dedicated elevator to the property down to the pool and beach area was top notch. the condo is appointed with everything needed to have a great stay, and experience this wonderful area of Hawaii. Never being to Ko' Olina before I now rank it as one of my favorite areas of the islands; secluded enough to be special and romantic, while close enough to the hectic area of Honolulu and the great surfing at North Shore. You know how you often look at pictures of a vacation spot and they look really nice and then you get there and it's not what you thought it was going to be? Not here. This place EXCEEDED our expectations. This condo at Ko Olina Beach Villa as fantastic.
With three bedrooms, everyone in our family had privacy, but we could all hang out together during the day. The unit is clean, modern and very comfortable. This unit is on the 8th floor which gave us spectacular views of the ocean. And, as we soon discovered...the view was looking south. The units which faced north had to close their blinds every afternoon because of the sun. Not us - we had cocktails on the balcony every night! Pure bliss.
The Ko Olina Resort overall is great. It's about 25 minutes from Pearl Harbor and 35 minutes from Waikiki and 40 minutes to the North Shore, but all are easy drives. And, I never realized how much there is to do and see on Oahu. Most people talk about Maui or Kauai, but I'm definitely going back to this Island when we return. Roy's Restaurant is right across the street and Chuck's Steakhouse is right down the beach. Plus there are other nearby dining choices if you choose, including a cool Mexican Restaurant. We sat there one afternoon and drank Margy's while we watched a preseason NFL game. We ate in about half the time (barbequed by the pool), which was simple. All the tools to prepare and cook are in the Condo. We also went to the Paradise Luau one night, which is right down the street.
There is a Safeway store about 10 minutes away and also a brand new ABC Upscale store (kind of like a mini Whole Foods) within walking distance.
The pools are very nice and clean and they have wading areas for either sun bathing in the lounge chairs or nice if you have small children. There is also a great Fitness Center - I worked out a lot there. Just outside the security gate is the Lagoon. The Lagoon is clean, uncrowded and good for laying out, swimming or snorkeling.
Finally, I can't say enough about the owner, Thu who handled everything in a courteous and professional manner. I HIGHLY recommend staying here!

We stayed 2 weeks in Thu's 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo and it was indeed as good as the photos reveal. We particularly enjoyed the fully opening sliding doors onto our lanai which had an amazing ocean view. The condo does not get any direct sun, which can be good and bad as those units across from us looked baking on hot, hot days.
Eric (onsite Manager) was prompt in every respect. Our plane was early, but so too was he in meeting us at the condo.
The beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in, including mine at home. The pillows also did not make me miss home.
Despite this being our first stay in one of Thu's accomodations, we found her to be extremely efficient in responding to questions and other issues electronically and our damage deposit was returned very promptly after our return home.
The location of the condo is in Ko Olina and yes, the security is a bit fastidious, but after visiting many of the public beaches on Oahu, we learned to be very grateful for this. Virtually after every visit to another beach, we wondered why we travelled all that way to be at a beach that was much less appealing than the one we left. Certainly know to inform security in advance of any visiting guests as we did and they will ensure parking arrangements are made.
The lagoons are perfect for kids and adults alike and the lagoon in front of Thu's condo was the least crowded. The area is clean and the lagoons beautiful and sparse with people. We chose to park our blanket on the grassy area just above the sandy beach under the partial shade of palm trees. I expect that the quietness of the lagoon may change once the Disneyland timeshare is completed as these guests will definitely spill into the lagoon in front of Thu's condo.
The two pools were great for our four teen kids. Important for me is that there was not one day, no matter the time of day that we visited the pool area that we did not get a choice lounge chair in the pool or out.
Excellent shopping is 10 minutes away (Costco, Safeway, KMart, etc) by car and Waikiki about 30 minutes (depending on time of day/traffic). We found that Ko Olina was definitely the best spot on the Island for vacationing.
I would definitely recommend staying in Thu's 3 bedroom condo.

We were at the Villas for one week, it was not enough. I wish I had stayed there longer.
The Villa is spacious and built with expensive options inside out, specially the kitchen with all Subzero appliances. The villa is very beautiful and relaxing with very nice furnitures and three Plasma TVs. The highlights of the villa are the beds and linens. They are very luxury (feel like "Heavenly bed" collection with Westin hotel). We slept very well every day there.
This villa has beautiful pool view, some ocean view and very close to lagoon 2. What we enjoy the most is to swim at the lagoon in the morning. When you walk by the beach bar, you can have free cold bottle water and coffe. The water at the lagoon in the morning is very clear and has many beautiful fish. I saw more beautiful fish at the lagoon than at the famous Hanauma bay. Enjoy the sunrise in the very beautiful and quiet beach is something I missed the most in this resort.
This resort has very nice gym with steam room and sauna. They have very good equiments and each equiment has a Hi Def TV. The gym is mostly empty so you don't have to fight for the equipment.
This resort is next to nice goft courses, and Roy restaurant. The food and service are excellent at Roy restaurant. Costco is 10 minutes away. We stock up a lot of foods and have BBQ dinners at the pool. Thanks the owners for having plastic plates so we can bring them down the pool for our BBQ party.
Can't wait to be back there.

We are very impressed with the owner's communication with us before, during and after renting this unit. Very detail oriented. Deposit refunded promptly. Sent excellent pictures of the unit before our trip and very detailed instructions for checking in/out. Contact in Ko Olina very nice and helpful. We enjoyed delightful evenings sitting on the lanai with a wonderful tropical breeze overlooking the pool and its lovely gardens. The beach was exxellent and the unit very nicely furnished & decorated. Well definetly recommend this property to a friend. Not too long a drive to Waikiki for the shopping experience but, nice to get back to the condo for a truly relaxing resort ambiance.

An outstanding resort! The unit was furnished and equipped very nicely and the resort grounds were immaculate. The pools, beach and workout room were nearly deserted and we felt we had them to ourselves. The caretaker was helpful and trustworthy, while the owner was extremely easy to work with. She would return e-mails and phone calls quickly and it was a smooth transaction. Our deposit was returned promptly upon our departure. The most fabulous sunsets we have ever seen!

My husband and I took our son, his wife and our two grandchildren to the Ko Olina Beach villa for our yearly family vacation in June. We had such a great time. The condo was so much more than we had anticipated. We felt at home in this beautifully decorated condo. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We lost our credit card and the staff went to all ends to finding it. The pools were a hit with my grandchildren, and the beach was just wondeful. If we ever return to Hawaii, we would definitely stay at the very same place. Our e-mails and questions were promptly returned within minutes from the owners and the cleaning service. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Thank you to the owners for the chance to stay at such a wonderful resort.

We stayed 4 nights at the Ko Olina Beach Villas and it was not enough. The place was absolutely heaven! Our family enjoyed the great work out room, walks along the beach, and the swimming pools. We loved how it was quiet and you could always get a chair by the pool. We felt like we had the Lagoon and pools to ourselves.
The weather cooperated too. The villa had top of the line appliances. My husband and I had a seperate Master suite from the kids.
We loved it and hope to come again!

It was so hard to leave this property; a week just wasn't enough! The condo is beautifully appointed and the views are spectacular. Our children enjoyed snorkeling in the lagoon, and we enjoyed complimentary coffee at the beachside bar each morning. We will definitely be return!

We travel alot with our four children and stayed for the first week of our holiday at another resort. I was soooo very dissappointed with the other resort.
Then we arrived at Ko Olina and this fabulous apartment. It is truely first class accomodation. You can catch the lift down and step outside to the lap pool which my son who swims competatively loved. You walk through the lap pool and enter the resort pool which I have to say the pictures do not do any justice to. It is wonderful and has a sand section for the kids. You can walk through the end of the resort pool area through a gate and you are directly at the beach. We spent so many hours by the pool and by the lagoon. There is a grass area above the sand for people like me who dont like the beach because of the sand. It was a wonderful swimming area and we rarely left the resort.
Above the beach is a lovely path which is lit up at night and provides a truely relaxing place to walk. One direction takes you to the hotel which does possibly the best buffet breakfast we have ever had and the other way takes you to the restaurants. Both are quite good.
Accross the other side of the complex is the golf course restaurant, I think its called Roys, and it is wonderful, possibly the best food we have had in a long time. Really great service and somewhere you really should eat at.
The whole experience was wonderful and the apartment is one of the best we have stayed in. Large rooms, well furnished, and clean.
There are staff on hand 24 hours a day for security and we felt toally safe the entire time. I can not recommend this accomodation highly enough.

We love this condo! Not only is it beautiful but there was plenty of room for our family of five. There are 3 flat screen tv's, two full baths, two king beds, and a pull out couch. The kids had their own space and we had our own private master suite. The couch in the family room had plenty of room for all us. The kitchen was fully stocked for easy cooking.
Sams Club and Costco are close by with supplies for easy meals. There is a strip mall by Safeway with tons of restaurants for eating in or take out. We preferred to eat at the condo because it was so beautiful and relaxing with a full view of the main pool to check on the kids. With a partial view of the ocean we could check on the current conditions. There were plenty of beach towels at the condo and the pool areas.
We love Ko'Olina, the location is perfect. We snorkeled in the Lagoon and saw 3 turtles! We took plenty of walks along the beach. The grounds are stunning with music playing in the back ground. The staff was very helpful and it was just the perfect trip! I could say much more, but this really was a wonderful place to be.
