Quiet and well maintained unit. Second floor unit is not suited for handicapped since there is no elevator. Mountain view overlooking a couple of fairways of the Wailea Blue course. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants. 2 pools with a whirlpool. Owner was easy to communicate with and helpful.

Great location in Wailea--close to shopping, beaches and resorts. Just a short drive to numerous beaches, restaurants or Kihei. Faye has her place fully stocked with all the necessities and more including beach chairs, beach bag, towels and kitchen items. Very clean and quiet location. Enjoyed having breakfast on lanai overlooking golf course. Faye also gave us great restaurant and beach recommendations. She was very quick with all of her communication. We also enjoyed having two pools at Grand Champions--one was for adults only, which we enjoyed and used the hot tub nightly. Will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed at Faye’s wonderful condo for two weeks. The pictures were accurate and everything was exceptionally clean. The kitchen was well appointed. The washer and dryer worked well. It was nice to eat our meals on the lanai overlooking the golf course. We liked the location of the condo and it was very peaceful.

Booked this wonderful condo for our annual anniversary trip. The condo was amazing. Faye, the owner, thought of everything. It is completely updated, high end and very very homey. Close to everything in Wailea and Kihei. Will absolutely stay here again. Pools were nice, clean and very cool. Faye was easily accessible and helped on our check in. Fantastic experience.

The condo was very nicely renovated, clean, spacious and well-stocked with everything needed. There is no door to the master bathroom which was a bit odd, but we noticed this was the case in another unit our family was staying in so I guess just a quirk of the condo complex. Faye was great to communicate with and very prompt with queries. The location is nice and not far from the Wailea beach path which is convenient for runs.

My wife and I had stayed in Faye's condo 4 years ago and it was fantastic then, as it was again this time. The condo is in in a well run complex and everything is impeccably maintained . The condo itself is exactly as advertised and has had many upscale renovations just as the photos show. Above all else, Faye is a great communicator and very easy to deal with. The location is great for proximity to the best beaches and the complex pools are very nice. We really appreciated all the instructions provided and found that the unit was well stocked with necessities. To sum it up ... wonderful accommodation ....wonderful host... wonderful stay !

This condo was perfect my husband and myself. It was better than we expected from the photos. The kitchen living area was so spacious it could very easily sleep 4 adults if someone wanted to sleep in the living room. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you will need. The linens the owner has are so soft with fluffy towels.
The location is close to quite a few amenities and restaurants. Some close to walk to others a VERY short drive.
We will definitely be back in the very near future.

This property is everything you think it is from the photos and more! The condo is beautifully updated and has everything yiu need for a perfect visit to Maui. Grand Champions is a great location as it is close to beaches and shopping, perfect for walking (which we did each morning) and the highway which takes you to the rest of the island is very easy to get to from there. I absolutely and unequivocally recommend this property. The owner was responsive and very organized which makes the entire trip that much nicer.

Very nice place to stay in Wailea down the street from great restaurants and beaches, and 45 mins from West Maui. The location is more central which makes it a lot more convenient than west Maui to get to activities such as the Haleakala Volcano sunrise/sunset, road to Hana, etc.
My only constructive feedback is more housekeeping related. When we arrived, it was at least 90 degrees in the condo. It would have been nice to have some air circulation knowing that guests were arriving that day. Also, the bath towels smelled very musty as if they were wet in the washing machine for days before being dried. We had to go buy towels at Target as an alternative. The carpet in the main living area could also use some cleaning. Everything else was clean and this was a nice, quiet, and safe place to stay. Thank you.

I’m sure we are all concerned whether the property we rent will live up to the marketing hype and the clever photo shoot. This property is exactly as described. It’s extremely clean, spacious, very well appointed and was recently renovated to a very high standard. Faye (the owner) has set a standard that other property owners should aspire to achieve. Sadly, most don’t and are just full of excuses when their lackluster offerings are found to be wanting.

Faye’s condo is in a great location, close to resorts, restaurants, and the beach. It also has a gorgeous sunrise view on the patio. The condo is updated with everything you need in the kitchen, and bathrooms are fully stocked with nice products. The TVs are new with every app you need to wind down at night. I was able to communicate with Faye during our trip when needed. Great stay for my boyfriend and I. 100% recommend!

What a lovely stay we had at Faye's place. We appreciated the overall comfort, cleanliness and privacy of her unit. She had every amenity you could ask for from great TVs to kitchen and bathroom appliances, laundry supplies, beach chairs/towels, and a notebook full of suggestions for activities. My husband and I stayed here for our wedding 2/4/22 and could not have been happier with the experience! The unit was perfect and we didn’t want to leave. The remodeling was done beautifully, especially the bathrooms. The location was perfect, so quiet and shady on the Kanani so we could enjoy coffee and lunch while watching the golfers. Talk about well stocked! I’ve never stayed somewhere that was as well stocked. The beach chairs were in great condition, the couch and bed was very comfortable…we will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful stay in Faye's beautiful condo in Wailea. Can't say enough wonderful things about my interaction with Faye. We had booked our stay over Labor Day 2020. Needless to say, we were unable to go as the Governor of Hawaii was not allowing visitors at that time. Faye was incredible to work with; allowing us to rebook at our convenience, even working with us when we had to make changes more than once due to scheduling. Her condo is beautiful, fully stocked with everything one would need. It is in a prime location in Wailea; within walking distance to the shops at Wailea and the beaches. We had a very slight incident while there, and Faye responded immediately. We have rented many properties through VRBO and I cannot say I have worked with anyone as accommodating as this owner. I would definitely recommend her condo to anyone and look forward to visiting again.

This was not our first visit to Maui or the Grand Champions development in Wailea. So we knew what to expect. This unit exceeded all of our expectations. The location was especially quiet and the unit itself was newly renovated with a lot of thought given to the design of the kitchen and the bathrooms. The unit was equipped with new appliances and very well stocked making our stay very comfortable. It really felt like home away from home. We also enjoyed having the Netflix and Amazon streaming services in the unit. This was especially important with our longer stay. Our sincere thanks to Faye for taking care of all the details.

Can't say enough about your place! It has a perfect view of Haleakala overlooking the golf course. I loved my morning walks and the beauty of Wailea. The unit is FULLY stocked along with all the beach things needed. It is immaculate. We've stayed at several places and loved yours.
We bounced around to all the different beaches during the day and for the sunsets daily. There are two pools that are pretty quiet. Grocery stores aren't very far. We love the Monkeypod (Strawberry pie yummy), Tommy Bahamas, and Coconuts in Azeka shopping center. Don't miss out on the fish tacos there! Plan to visit Kaanapali and get a bite to eat from Leoda's. The pineapple macadamia pie was so delicious and get a sandwich for the beach.
Our vacation was perfect. Praying we can go back next year! Thank you Faye for everything!

We were very impressed by the level of detail left for us. All of our questions were answered and response time to any questions was very quick. The condo is very well decorated and maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and anything else you’d ever need. There’s plenty of beach items so you can easily pack up the car and head down to the beach. It is in a great location right next to the golf course and within walking distance to the beach, shops, and some of the big resorts. This was a great place for us to celebrate our anniversary. We have stayed over five times in the Grand Champions complex and this is by far the nicest unit. It is beautiful, spacious, sparkling clean, and comfortable (the pictures don't do it justice!) and all of the furniture and appliances are brand new and top notch. Loved the newly renovated washrooms and showers and the breakfast bar. Check-in and check-out instructions couldn't have been more clear, and communication with the owner Faye was great throughout. We only wish we had more time to stay in this lovely condo as it was the perfect place to relax during our getaway - truly a home away from home. Falling in Love Again
Having had the pleasure of many trips to Hawaii over many decades and have calmed somewhat my desire to roam, naturally one comes to understand what works well and what does not. Not surprisingly, Wailea calls me back time and time again. For me it is a long trip from the midwest so I like to make the best of it. In the process, there was an evolution from staying at the great resorts to places nearby such as Grand Champion Villas. Particularly, my desire to stay as much as a month at a time while being near my favorite beaches as well as a desire to have my stay more on my own terms helped me in this direction. As a result, over time, I have taken the opportunity to enjoy and stay frequently at the well located Grand Champion, where I eventually decided on favorites Units. Recently remodeled Unit 98, now stands at the top of my favorites.
I enjoy being on the second level as the view is better for me and not of me from passing guests. The view of the uninterrupted golf course is wonderful and peaceful. In other units, one may experience an unfortunate view of cars and other units including the pool or the tennis courts or an enormous bamboo jungle inhabited by early waking birds, or a blazing afternoon sun. This is not the case at Unit 98.
Generally the grounds here are beautiful, lush with tropicals, and keep in resort style by the groundsmen. The view from 98 is fabulous. From here it is still very easy to access all facilities features such as pools, etc. For example, the guest bathroom and shower facilities by the pools are resort quality and the gas barbecues easy to operate. Likewise, it is an easy stroll to public beach access for the wonderful beaches.
A tip about parking at public beach access, those closer to denser populated Kihei get the most cars. For strolling I would love to bring my standard poodle, but it is really difficult to get a pet into anywhere in Hawaii due to regulations. In any case, pets are not allowed at the Grand Champion Villas, which is good after all because my allergies don't bother me here.
Not everyone loves being outdoors all the time, this is where Unit 98 shines. Being recently remodeled, it is spacious, has clean new carpets, very comfortable furniture, and nice new equipment to cook and prepare for a fun time. Check out the photos to see for yourself. The WiFi by Time Warner is free so it is easy to use your cell phones and iPads anywhere on the premises including the Lanai.

Your condo was the perfect home away from home - quiet, comfy bed, wifi, two bathrooms, and gorgeous kitchen! The sunrise view from the living room is beautiful! My friend and I enjoyed the two lovely pools with gas BBQs grills. Every morning I went for a jog down to the local beaches. In the evenings I would walk down to stroll along the beaches to watch the sunsets. Thank you for all the great restaurant recommendations - several within walking distance. We had an absolutely amazing time. I can't wait to come back.

If there was a word beyond outstanding we would use it to describe this particular condo. Situated in a beautiful, lush, flower scented development close to the best hotels, restaurants, beaches, and walking paths in Wailea the view from the lanai out over the fairway toward Haleakala presents and ever-changing panorama of blue skis, white puffy clouds and in the warm balmy evenings endless stars... a wonderful place to enjoy a meal or just sit and relax. We especially enjoyed the sunsets, which are matchless. The condo is newly re-modeled and beautifully furnished and decorated with all the necessary accessories and utensils one would expect in a place that the owner occupies part of the year. There’s TV but you probably won’t watch it because there’s so much to see and do on Maui. The beds are especially comfortable and two baths provide a great convenience. Grand Champion rules insure quiet evenings and the development provides easy access to swimming pools and gas BBQ facilities just a few steps away. We can’t wait to come back again and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else.
