The location of this place was perfect for a light stroll to the beach, restaurants and shops in Wailea. The place had a very comfortable king size bed. Because it was on the second floor, we were able to leave the deck door open at night for a restful sleep. The shared patio wasn’t as private due to the dead plants in the patio divider. We would definitely consider coming to this place on our next trip to Maui.

it is a gorgeous little apartment in a chic condo park in upscale Wailea, the view from the balcony goes right into the jungle, the public swimming pools and hot tubs are amazing, to the beaches is about 5min drive and supermarkets 10-15min, we enjoyed ourselves very much hopefully coming back one day, thank you for providing such a opportunity

Everything was amazing! Rachel was amazing and very responsive. I had just gotten in from a 10 hour flight and asked her if the place was ready and if I could check in early (about 1230 HST). She got back to me quickly and said everything was ready! The lanai was great and had a feeling of seclusion. Beautiful sounds of the birds!

It was such a pleasant experience, clean property, adequate amenities for our needs. We loved going out onto the porch and enjoying the sights and sounds. We couldn't see a long distance, but that was fine because it was very pretty flowers and trees, and the sounds of birds made it a very enjoyable experience! I would go out on the porch often when we were on the property. One minor item that isn't the host's fault at all - don't just rely on Google Maps when finding the location, and make sure to follow the host's instructions to get to the proper location! This was not a major issue, just wanted to give that caution to future guests to make the experience even better. We would absolutely go back to this location again!

This place was exactly what we were looking for! The location was perfect, quite and safe area. The walls were thin, but the neighbors were quite. Had everything we needed for the beach. Very clean studio apartment for the two of us. Also the balcony was lovely and mostly private to drink coffee and listen to the birds. Owner was also quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

The location of his condo was excellent, however the description was not accurate. The description in VRBO is that this is a studio condo when in reality it is a bedroom in a condo that has just been given an exterior door. Unit number 10 was originally a two bedroom condo. They bolted to the door of one of the bedrooms that has an attached bathroom and gave an exterior door so you were actually in the second bedroom of condo number 10 The kitchenette is a tiny fridge and microwave, but no sink so you have to do the dishes in the bathroom. You Have a shared lanai separated by a piece of latis and some plants. The description says you were renting unit number 10, but unit number 10 is next door. This unit doesn’t have a number. The people renting the actual number 10 get the number 10 parking spot, while you have to try to find a guest spot which is very difficult at night. Also, the wall between two unit has actually no soundproofing. It is so thin that you can hear everything the neighbors are saying with just normal conversation. This should not be rented as a condo, but has a bedroom in a condo.

This property is located in the very pretty, manicured area of Wailea. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to get to a beach, but accessing the beaches can be challenging due to the water-front resorts often gating their properties and discouraging foot traffic. The shops at Wailea are nearby and offer groceries, restaurants and some souvenir or clothe shopping. The unit itself is comfortable and quiet. The king-sized bed was really nice, and the balcony is decent (although you share it with the neighbors) but 2 issues stand out: 1) there is a small kitchenette in the unit but no kitchen sink, so any dishes you use need to be washed in the bathroom sink; and 2) Maui is very humid, and not having access to a clothes dryer means that your swimsuit and towels will be damp or wet for your entire stay. The host mentions that if someone is not occupying the next-door suite the washer and dryer could possibly be available to use, but I doubt that occurs often (and it certainly wasn't the case while we were there). Besides those 2 small negatives, this Vrbo was very nice and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thanks hosts!

This was a nice little studio with a mini fridge and a microwave in the middle of paradise! That's all we needed since we were out all day at the beaches and activities. We had a wonderful time and there were a lot of little extras like a case of small water bottles in the closet with chairs and an umbrella. There were utensils, plates and glasses that we just washed in the bathroom sink with the little bottle of soap that was there. There were beach towels and extra pillows that we didn't use because we brought our own. But it was nice that they had those things. It was a great deal and we were happy we stayed there instead of spending twice as much at a hotel down the street. The door was a little tricky to open the first time. We realize you just have to turn the key and push hard instead of trying to turn the knob to open it. There was great atmosphere on the balcony where we heard the birds chirping in the morning as we sat out there.

When I first arrived I had to call the owner to figure out how to open the door, after talking with them they explained I had to put my shoulder into it and bash the door open. The first night I took a shower it was clogged and water continued to swallow my feet, the bathroom fan doesn't work so you can remove the hot steamy air to assist the AC with keeping the place cool. Thankfully I had a full day of no neighbors, but the other reviews of the walls being PAPER thin are VERY true. I could hear ever step, whispered word, and child tantrum happening next to me. If I had a do over I'd fork out the extra money to stay at a slightly nicer establishment.

What I like about this property is surrounded by trees and give more privacy to the guests. However, guests parking was limited. I had hard time finding parking. The wall is very thin, I can hear the neighbors conversations or children screaming from another units. As soon as I checked into the unit and want to see the lanai but the sliding door was not working so I had to call the property management over to fix it. My most disappointment was no clean towels. Since my husband and I were there for five days stay and we were only given two very old and stinky towels. I emailed the owner and she explained to me that my stay was short therefore we only need two towels and one for us of us. People say you get what you paid for. I don't agreed, this place is not cheap but the amenities qualities are the worst so far for me. Will I recommend this place to others? I will not!

We had a great stay here! The only thing was the walls were very thin and you could hear everything your neighbors were doing. Could be a problem with noisy neighbors. The kitchen was more like a hotel kitchen but had a lot of cookware items. Other than that it really was a great place for the price and location and the view outside was beautiful!

Really enjoyed staying here. Everything was as noted. Parking was convenient. Location was a bit farther to the beach than I had thought, but it is a 10 minute walk not across the street... my bad, not on them! The space was nice and more space than a typical hotel. Small fridge was nice to have. The bed was comfy for us. A prior guest had walked with dirty sand on the carpet, but otherwise the place was clean. This is a 2nd Floor unit, so just be aware that you will be dragging your luggage up the outdoor stairs. Again, thoroughly enjoyed the stay and this was a value for the price compared to what was available around the island.

My husband and I spent a few nights of our honeymoon here. It was just what we were looking for- quiet and cozy and close to the Wailea strip. We enjoyed the beautiful lania in the mornings and Rachel was very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We would come back in a heartbeat!

The condo I stayed in was very clean, as soon as I arrived (I was by myself) and the security guard helped me to find my way and he was very helpful as I arrived during the night. I cannot complain about anything as everything that was promised was given. Location is great!! And the best thing if the staff personnel.?Thank you so much to the manager staff who helped me when i needed help due to a personal issue I had. These things are the facts that makes me want to come back. I am happy I stayed there and I If I ever get back I will definitely choose them again!!

We had a great time and really liked the studio! It was perfect for our needs. We especially liked that it had beach chairs, beach towels, and boogie boards in the closet! That was a bonus. Also, there was a binder on the table with lots of information about the area which we appreciated. King size bed was very comfortable and loved being able to watch a movie in bed at the end of the day. I had read some complaints about the birds, but we loved them and they really only chirped at dawn and dusk for maybe an hour. It’s kind of neat to hear all of them. If I could change one thing it would be more privacy on the deck. It is shared with the neighbors renting the main apartment. Not a big deal, there is a little barrier there. Just not a private deck. Also, walls are thin. We had quite neighbors and we were quite as well, but could be pretty noisy with the wrong group. Overall this is a great place, great location, and great price. Would definetly stay here again.

A few updates would serve this large studio well. The studio is attached with a door separating the studio & main condo. There is a gap under the door that made the room not very private feeling (especially when we could hear the neighbors). I ended up putting pillows down along the door to buffer the sound. The studio is in need of a deep clean (behind bed) & parts of the bathroom. The outside of the property is well maintained with beautiful landscaping, friendly neighbors & staff. Nice little pool with hot tub. Walking distance to many restaurants (a bit of a walk, but totally doable if you’re up for some exercise). The owner is a sweetheart & handled a couple issues we had early on very professionally. A deep clean, new bedding, pillows, bed & new decor, would bump this large studio in Wailea up to five stars.

Wonderful property exactly as described in the VRBO listing. What cannot be adequately described is how warm and delightful the owners are in person! We had the awesome opportunity to meet them as they were vacationing at the same time we were and they took such great care of us while we were there. I had mistakenly made our airline flights for a red eye so we had no place to go for the entire day before we were to catch our flight. I asked if there was any way to get a late check out and Helene graciously allowed us to remain longer than we had reserved for. Every communication up until and during our stay was met timely. We were very happy with everything about our stay I especially loved the large Plumeria tree right outside our Lanai! We will definitely return!

A lovely large room, with high ceiling and very private at the back. The people next door were very quiet. The condo pool was excellent for an evening dip. We mostly ate salads or ate out so the toaster and microwave were quite sufficient for our needs. We bought an electric kettle for making tea which we will leave, while realizing that the coffeemaker is more important for most guests. The notes for guests were extremely useful - happy hour pupus at 5 Palms and at Monkeypot were great. We also liked the Indian restaurant next to Foodland (also liked Foodland no fuss food better than Safeways which was missing staples). And the fish from Eskimo Candy.
We went snorkelling most mornings despite the cloudy and sometimes windy weather and did some general sightseeing most afternoons. The Four Seasons coffee place on Wailea Beach is a great beach resource. Pity the road to the hills is not open - I loved that area but the busy main road is off-putting. This afternoon we plan another visit to the aquarium before our late evening flight.

Unit is very clean and updated and location is good. Owners were very easy to work with and responded immediately. Our stay was short, so we lived out of our suitcases, but for anyone staying longer, there is no closet space for unpacking. Also, if you go out at night, do not be surprised if there is no parking close to this studio unit when you return. But, overall, this was a very nice spot for us and we enjoyed our stay!

The condo provided the perfect spot for our short visit in Wailea with its comfy bed, sunny and shady lanai, its mini kitchen and well stocked beach supply closet. We loved Wailea's beaches and the convenient condo location. Our favorite activity was walking the Wailea beach trail looking for whales. Shopping and restaurants are close by. We would stay in condo 10 again in a heartbeat.

My friend and I had a girls week in Maui, and this was the perfect place to stay! It was close enough to everything that the longest drive we had to get somewhere (Lahaina) was only 45 minutes. You couldn't even tell the distance because of the gorgeous views! The condo was very clean and well kept. We only heard the neighbors once, but that was it. The birds and sun greeted us every morning! Literally everything you think you could need is in this condo - including beach chairs and towels! We never checked out the pool nor used the tv because we were too busy. We would certainly stay here again!

My husband and I stayed in the studio condo in Sept 2015. It is nicely decorated and provided all necessary essentials. Great location to nearby resorts and beautiful Beaches. We especially loved Ulua (sp) beach. We used the nearby pool 2 different times. It is very clean and well kept. Helene was very courteous with quick response to any questions or concerns. We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this quaint studio condo at Grand Champions. The lanai was perfect for relaxing in the evening and during our daughter's nap. The beautiful sound of singing birds was a bonus. We loved the grounds and swimming pools. Our biggest complaints were that the shower did not drain well (we ended our shower in ankle-deep water) and we were only left one roll of toilet paper. Also, it was a little strange doing our dishes in the bathroom sink, but it worked. I can imagine that the clean up from heavy cooking would be a pain. However, if you're there for a quick stay and plan to eat most of your meals out, this studio is just what you need. The biggest plus of renting this studio was that the owner, Helene, was wonderful to work with! She was very kind and accommodating. We needed a pack 'n play for our baby, and she arranged to have one there for a small cost. She was also flexible with our luggage after check-out time. We were overall very pleased and had a wonderful stay in Wailea.

Truly a charming little place. Very comfortable beds, quiet environment, everything that you need in apartment. Great location , near to main shopping center and surrounding restaurants. For the overseas traveler, first Hawaiian bank and bottle shop only 2 minutes walk. Came in handy, when needing money and that nice bottle of red.30 second walk to charming swimming pool and BBQ area.Great after a long day out. A 6 minute walk to main beach area, and shopping.Easy walk to shed a few calories after many delights.

This condo is very comfortable- the vaulted ceiling, oversize bathroom and patio overlooking the tropical outdoors with birds singing every morning are a few of the amenities that added to the comfort. The AC is great, the ceiling fan wonderful for just the right amount of air flow. The location is in a very good area of Wailea; the grounds are well maintained, as well as the security. I had family staying in other units and I felt comfortable walking in the evening. Helene, the owner, was available for questions from the time I booked until I left. I would highly recommend! My wife and I and two year old had a fabulous experience renting this condo. Starting with the owner being very accommodating to our every request, followed by a clean and spacious one bedroom located in what I consider one of Maui's prime locations. Our place was perfectly located about 80m from the complex pool which is always useful when you have to carry things and toys. The pictures in the add represented this unit very accurately. In the evening was comfortable to relax while the little one watched Disney on the big screen from bed while Im checking my emails and wife is watching netflix. The AC units keeps the place nice and cool. The balcony overlooks a small tropical forest for which the owners left binoculars for us to watch the colourful birds.

Good area. Convenient location for beach and shops (walking distance). Overall condo development is quite nice. Lanai great for bird watching. It is a studio so only a bar fridge and microwave. There is a closed door to the adjoined 1 bedroom apartment which is not soundproof so can be annoying if the neighbors are noisy. The laundry is only for the use of the 1 bedroom, not the studio. Unfortunately the sheets and pillows smelled of mildew (likely not fully dried before put on).

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this studio apartment. It is a lovely apartment furnished very nicely in a gorgeous setting. There are very beautiful beaches nearby, which we could walk to. We loved staying here. Everything was superb, and we would return in a heartbeat.

I love the location of Grand Champions. It is a short walk down the hill to the beach.
The condo has a large sliding door that opens on to a balcony facing the ravine .
Morning sand night the birds sing in the lush vegetation.
It was nicely furnished ,the bathroom was renovated and it had a king size bed.
The kitchenette is fine for breakfast and lunch and there is a barbecue at the pool.
I would love to return next year

We loved our stay in this beautifully renovated and furnished studio in lovely condo complex in the upscale wailea area; it felt like living in a treehouse with lots of bird neighbours. The owner was helpful and attentive. Listing accurate, minimal but adequate for meal prep. Car helpful. Would recommend to others and hope to return.

Perfect for a couple. The dry kitchenette was better stocked than some two bedroom condos I've stayed in. Helene was wonderful to make reservations with and even emailed while we were on our vacation to check on how our stay was going. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the pool was out of order while we were there. We would definitely stay again.
