Host Terry Bell was very thoughtful and informative as we navigated coming to West Maui after August fires. Most restaurants and stores were re-opened and locals appreciated thoughtful tourist returning to support their local economy.

The cottage was beautiful and nicely appointed. The view of the ocean was lovely. The sound of traffic was surprisingly loud and carried into the second bedroom. Otherwise, the location of the cottage made it easy to get around the island. Terry is very responsive and helpful.

Our stay could not have been better - we loved to location close to one of the best beaches on Maui, the almost "private" pool, the clean and spacious rooms and the quiet and well-maintained property. It was perfect for our family of four and we had a wonderful time Terry was a great host and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this cottage.

We had a lovely stay in this property which is ideally suited for a lazy beach stay or a deeper explore of the island.
Comms with Terry and check in process was fab. The house is clean and spacious and the pool is literally at the bottom of some steps by the front door.
You can walk to the beach in 10 mins and snorkel in the turquoise sea.
The house is ideally suited to adventure too. We drove 19 mins up the coast to other beaches and also zip lined on the side of the volcano. We also drove the Road to Hana and to the seven sacred pools - which was a 12 hour road trip but we’ll worth doing.
Whalers Village shops, restaurants & beach only 5 mins drive and Lahaina with shops & restaurants 10 minutes drive. Lovely house, lovely location.

We had a great time in Terry's cottage. It had everything you would need ... a well stocked kitchen that we could cook our own meals in and beach gear that we could use to go out with.
The cottage has a great layout and worked well for the three of us that stayed.
It was great to be so close to the pool and the location slightly up on the hill meant that we had an ocean view with lovely sunsets.
Terry was very easy to communicate with and the whole booking process was clear and simple.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Terry’s property. The grounds were beautifully maintained and watching the sunrise/sunset from the living room was magical. The home easily fit myself and my husband, my mother and my toddler and we all felt like we had some space to move around.
The house was kid friendly, however, the furniture was a bit difficult with a toddler. But that is specific to my family.
The pool is just steps away, and we usually had the whole thing to ourselves.
Beach access was super easy, and is just a short walk away.
Staying at terrys felt like home, there were spices in the cabinets, condiments in the fridge and plenty of sand toys for our son.
I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking.

Great location, laid back, comfortable, clean & relaxing.
Cottage is well cared for & has everything just bring your clothes.
Stayed here with my husband & 2 adult kiddos while visiting the third adult kiddo who lives in Lahaina.
At the cottage all four of us had plenty of space & were able to nest in nicely.
For my family the very well stocked kitchen & outdoor BBQ were huge game changers. That & the dining table that seated six with an ocean view made eating in our first choice.
Pro tips:
Castaway Cafe (across the street) great for cocktails en route to the beach.
The nearby Foodland Fresh parking lot hosts a farmers market on Saturdays.
The ‘808 Grindz’ restaurant has authentic homemade Hawaiian food. Open for breakfast & lunch, CASH only. Not touristy.

This was our third time to Terry's home in Maui and it doesn't disappoint. Like many, we feel this is our home away from home. It has everything you could want/need for a relaxing vacation. The location is perfect. It is right across the street from the water (with ocean views) which gives us the privacy we like yet allowing us quick access to the beach.
Terry is the best host and is always available for questions or issues. I would highly recommend.

Cottage is lovely and spacious, perfect for my family of 4. The pool is very close and sparkling clean. Unfortunately the 2nd pool on property was closed for maintenance making ours quite crowded most of the time. But, we really spent the majority of our time on the spectacular beach across the road. It’s a busy road to cross, but there is a signal/crosswalk that makes it very easy. The beach has the most beautiful water with sandy area for swimming and reefs everywhere for fantastic snorkeling right off the beach. We would come back for sure.

This is our fifth stay in this beautiful cottage. My best friend and I fell in love with it the first year and have been coming back ever since. It has all the amenities of home. It sits up high so you have a beautiful view of the ocean and all the lush greenery which surrounds the cottage. The pool is located very close and many times we had it all to ourselves. It is always clean and sparkling, surrounded by a hedge of Hibiscus. The location of the cottage is ideal. It is across from Kaanapali Beach, close to Whaler’s Village (great shopping and eating), and close to Lahaina which is where we spent a lot of time. This truly is our happy place and we thank Terry for sharing this little piece of paradise.

Easy booking, just as listed, very clean and everything is working order. Good communication with Terry. Wonderful location. Easy quick walk to the beach which was great for snorkeling, whale watching and walking the Boardwalk down by the resorts next to ocean was a wonderful as well. Having access to washer, dryer, snorkeling and beach equipment is a real plus.
Suggestion, add 2 beach chairs to the beach closet for use, a pizza cutter in the kitchen, a pair of binoculars (for whale watching) and outdoor chairs to sit outside instead of the wooden bench.
Would definitely rent this property again when we come back.

We rented this beautiful property as a Christmas memory instead of presents for our family…my husband and myself and my two boys (young men really- 22 and 24). It was an amazing experience, despite the Kona Low storm! It was the perfect place to ride out the storm and listen to the rain and wind. Very comfortable and spacious! The rainbows after the storm were beautiful and could be seen from the amazing wall of windows.
The house sits higher on the hill and has great views of the sunsets…and the storm clouds over the ocean. We loved the pool 10 steps away from the back door and we took advantage of it for evening swims. The walk to Airport Beach was short and we thought it was a great way to get to one of our favorite beaches. We rented a car so we could explore the island and there was plenty of parking each time we returned from an excursion.
Now the house…it is absolutely beautiful! A true home away from home. The pictures definitely don’t do it justice. It is spacious, the furniture and beds are very comfortable, and it has literally everything you will need in the kitchen. We used both the BBQ and washer and dryer. Super convenient and sheltered from the wind, rain, and sun.
Terry was very thorough and great to work with. Definitely a pleasure from beginning to end. Gwen, who spotlessly cleaned this house prior to our arrival was also fabulous to work with. She offered helpful tips and was very welcoming. This was an incredible trip from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this gorgeous property to anyone looking to relax and unwind.

We had a wonderful time! We had the pool almost to ourselves every time we went (there are multiple), it was really close to great beach swimming, food, and activities! They accommodated late check out since our flight was delayed and were really fast at responding to questions.

Terry's home was the perfect 'home away from home' for our family on Maui. The property descriptions and photos are very accurate. Do not be concerned about the lack of air conditioning- the breeze and open layout of this home kept things very comfortable during our stay. My daughters loved being able to swim in the pool that was steps out the back door. The beach across the street (easy 5 min walk) was perfect with a beautiful reef for snorkeling. The beach supplies (snorkel & sand toys) were appreciated by all! Terry was an excellent host with clear communication. Will happily stay again here for our next Maui trip!

If you want to stay & visit Kaanapali, HI & have the best central location in heart of it all, this VRBO home is for you. Both Lynn & I have been to Maui before to vacation but this home now is our favorite place. This home is centrally located in the heart of Kaanapali. The beach, shopping, restaurants, etc is at your fingertips. The owner is simply outstanding to work with. Enjoy your stay, as we did.

We loved the location and the amenities. It was so handy to have a washer and dryer outside and a great place to hose off sandy shoes. I can’t wait to return to this cottage. It truly has a great feel and vibe. Short walk to beach across the street to our best snorkeling on the trip. Just go up the beach to the right for 100-200 yards Right off the beach is a 3 mile reef. Full of colorful fish eel saw turtles too. Bring a solution of 1:10 part baby small for your snorkel mask. It’s magic!

The cottage is in a prime location a few minutes walk from the best beach in Maui. We swam with the turtles every day and watched the most amazing sunsets. There is also a lovely swimming pool next to the cottage. The layout of the property was perfect with amazing views and it provided absolutely everything you could possibly need. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back again soon! A real slice of Paradise on Earth!

This home is amazing. The location is just a couple of minutes from the beach, and steps to the pool. The complex is quiet and clean and lends itself to being a great place to relax or have fun. The owner was very easy to work with and made sure our stay was enjoyable. It is also one of the most well-stocked places we have come across. The kitchen had all of the cooking utensils we could have thought of, there were plenty of blankets, pillows and towels for our family of four, and we made use of the beach toys and snorkel gear. There is a full-size washer and dryer, which only made our stay more enjoyable. This is definitely our go-to place on Maui!!

As a first time VRBO user we were a bit concerned when Omicron caused us to delay our original trip and reschedule it but Terry was very accommodating and the reschedule was a breeze. When we arrived we were pleased to see that everything about this wonderful home was exactly as advertised. Clean, well maintained with everything we needed for our vacation. There is a clear pride of home ownership throughout the resort grounds. Immaculately maintained landscaping, pool areas, pathways and parking areas that are well situated. If you want to stay in a place that feels like home while you’re on vacation, this is the place. Highly recommended.

I brought my Mom and Aunt to Hawaii. My Mom recently had her hip replaced and My Aunt doesn't get around very well. They were both upset about the (3minute) walk and the small hill they had to climb to get to the house. Just something to keep in mind if you have older people. I would have liked to have known about it ahead of time.
The house was very spacious and comfortable. The area was very nice and the walk was well manicured and pretty. We all really liked the beds, I slept very well. The noise coming from the road seemed to echo in the house but by day 4 we had somewhat got used to it. To be fair we are not used to having open windows and the noise that comes with it.

What a lovely cottage! Stand-alone cottage tucked among a few dozen others in a lush tropical paradise. Walking down the paths, butterflies would drift past, plumerias would fall from the trees and little geckos would cross my path. Woken up every morning to the songs of birds. And a full ocean view from the enclosed lanai together with views of the other islands. Very private and yet across the street from a terrific beach for snorkeling and swimming- enjoyed that almost every day. Can’t wait to come back to this paradise.

The property was everything that was advertised and more.
The location was a 10 minute walk to Kaanapali but because of the Free Beach Parking across the street once you pulled out of the International Colony location we drove over so we didn't have to carry the beach supplies.
The house itself is right next to the pool which is great after a long day at the beach.
The house was extremely well-stocked with beach & cooking supplies and plenty of spices.
The view from the house looking at the trees and sunset were
a great way to start or end your day.
The location was convenient to get around to many spots on the island.
Finally, Terry was great at responding to any of questions and needs.

The location is very convenient in Kaanapali, across the highway from the excellent Kahekili beach (about 5-10 minute walk). The views of Lanai and Molokai from the home are beautiful. The home has a well stocked kitchen. Beach towels and chairs are available which was convenient. There were a few routine maintenance issues and Terry as very responsive in getting them addressed. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Maui.

Extremely spacious and well kept cottage. Great green space outside for kids to play in if you have them. Nice breezes at night to keep you cool, and having the pool just out the back door and down some steps is a real plus.
Unit is well stocked for cooking, I don't think I looked for anything and couldn't find it.

My best friend of seventy years and I decided to go to Maui every year. Last year we were lucky enough to find this gem of a cottage. We now call it our home in Maui. This was our second year to stay in this cottage and now can't imagine staying anywhere else. It sits up high enough that it has beautiful views of the ocean and Molokai. The cottage itself is beautiful and very comfortable. The pool is out the back door and down some steps. This year we had it almost always to ourselves. It is across the street from Kaanapali Beach. It only takes five minutes, or less, to walk there to get in some beach time or just sit and watch the beautiful sunsets. It's in a great location, easy to get to Lahaina, Whaler's Village, many wonderful restaurants. We found the most wonderful little Hawaiian church. It's called the Lahuiokalani Ka'anapali Congregationai Church. The service is in English and Hawaiian. The people are lovely and so welcoming. And it's right next door to the Farmer's Market. I highly recommend the coconut tapioca! There is nothing negative about this beautiful place. Our favorite place in the cottage was in the sunroom which is completely surrounded by windows with a gorgeous view. There are two very comfortable chairs with a ceiling fan overhead ~ perfect place for reading, resting and of course happy hour. Terry Bell, the owner, is great to work with. He is easy to get in touch with and wants your stay to be wonderful.....and believe me, it will be!

We recently spent 9 days at the International Colony Club villas ID #358877. If you want an excellent place to stay, without being in the middle of all the condominiums and resorts in Lahaina, then Terry"s villa is the place to stay. Beaches, shopping, and restaurants are within a short distance from the villa. The villa accommodates two couples nicely and has all the amenities necessary for a great vacation. The swimming pool was only a few steps from the back door and was a great place to enjoy a drink or relax in the sun. The beds were extremely comfortable after a long day on the beach or roaming the island. Plenty of room to enjoy your stay, kitchen was well equipped , and the living room and sunroom were quiet comfortable. The villa had no air conditioning but there was always a nice breeze, flowing throughout the residence. We had a great vacation and enjoyed our stay in Terry's villa.

We have just returned from another stay at this beautiful Maui home. It feels like our home away from home. It has beautiful hardwood floors in the bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and new washer and dryer. It is perfect for families with children or older couples. Not having to eat out for meals is wonderful. You can sit at the dining table and enjoy the beautiful Maui sunsets. The pool is steps away and is never crowded. The beach is a five minute walk or drive away. There are great shops and restaurants in Lahaina, about a five minute drive. Stay here once and it will become your Maui home.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was perfect size for our family of four. The kitchen was one of the better equipped of any home we’ve stayed in. The best part was there were two quiet pools (one just footsteps from the cottage) along with a great beach and restaurants nearby. I was a little worried about the lack of AC, but the cross ventilation was so good things cooled off nicely at night. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return at some point.

We can’t say enough about this beautiful property. It was perfect in every way. The home itself is gorgeous and fully equipped with everything we needed. The grounds and the pool are very well kept and the property in general is very quiet and peaceful. The location could not have been more perfect, close to the beach, restaurants, and grocery stores.
