Loved this resort and our room. We are pretty picky about where we stay so we were very pleased to find this condo was as lovely as pictured! It smelled clean, ac worked great, beds were comfortable, and had an amazing view. Randy was so helpful and knowledgeable about the island. This was my husband and my second stay in this particular condo. It has a lovely ocean view as pictured and is beautifully maintained. Furnishings are top-notch with many kitchen essentials provided. Can't say enough good things about this condo and the Honua Kai complex which is a wonderful destination for both adults and kids. Having Duke's Restaurant on the premises is a real plus.
Randy and Mary were always responsive and even sent suggestions of places to visit/restaurants while we were there. We hope to go back again and this will be our first choice of places to stay!

Loved the 544 Condo ! Very clean, comfy and well equipped…Randy & Mary think of everything to make sure you have an amazing stay…Feels like home ! The king-sized bed is extremely comfortable, and the bathroom is absolutely huge…Newer appliances and TV’s, plus the benefit of the washer/dryer combo is well worth it…Going home with clean laundry ! Also good quality plates, dishes, cups and glasses, Tupperware, towels, beach chairs and umbrellas…Randy & Mary are readily available with great tips and suggestions, and answer any questions promptly…(Thanks for the delicious cinnamon bun recommendations just down the road; we’ll be dreaming of those until the next time we return 🙂)…We would not hestitate to stay at this little slice of heaven again, and would readily recommend it to family and friends…5 Stars across the board….Aloha !

From start to finish, our experience with the 'Maui Nuts', Randy and Mary was exceptional. The unit was exactly what we were looking for with plenty of space and a great view. The unit was perfectly stocked and we really appreciated having beach chairs and boogie boards at our disposal. We cannot provide enough wonderful comments regarding our stay at this condo. We stayed one one month. It is a well-maintained condo as well as well-stocked with kitchen cookware, spices, and supplies. It has a great view of the ocean from the balcony. The owner/managers/ Randy & Mary of MauiNuts consistently communicated with us prior and during our stay with terrific recommendations on restaurants and things to see and do. Honua Kai is a great resort with numerous pools and beach access. The area of Lahaina also provides excellent access to other beaches, restaurants, and other activities. We plan to be back.

Randy and Mary make you feel so comfortable and check on your every need . We’ve been to Maui many times and 544 Korea is our favorite place. It’s clean, comfortably and they have thought of everything . Even a make-up,mirror, places to hang wet suits , blender and so much more . No need to check out other one bedrooms. This is the one .

This was such a wonderful experience in Maui! Checking in was a little rough as it took a while to figure out where to check in and once we got our wristbands, they didn't work. It took some time but eventually we were able to get wristbands that finally worked. Also, we almost never found a place to park in the garage in the 7 days we were there which was frustrating at times.
Other than those two things, we had a great time at this resort. The room was perfect for a family with a small child, everything we needed was there for us. This room also is on the quieter side which was very nice for enjoying a drink at night or coffee in the morning.
Randy and Mary, the Maui Nuts, were great with all of the information they provided for things to do and places to go. Really amazing hosts who were even available late at night when we had trouble getting wristbands for our room. We will definitely be back soon.

My family of 4 visited Maui Nuts condo for 9 days to celebrate my birthday and our 10 year anniversary. Check-in was very simple, as was the check-out. The unit was a perfect size for our family of 4 (girls are 6 and 8), and had pretty much anything you'd want in a condo. We appreciated the condiments, ziplocks, spare TPs, Paper towels, detergents and antibacterial liquid soap (I hate when VRBOs leave bar soap to wash hands with!!). They also had 2 umbrellas, 4 beach chairs, a floatie, and beach toys for the littles.
The location is super convenient. The beach was perfect, as were the 4 pools (1 pool is for adults only) and 4 hot tubs. We went back and forth between the pools and the beach the first few days. There were ample lounge chairs and really didn't feel like we were on top of each other at all. One advice for the beach: walk south towards the Westin to avoid the rocks/coral area in the beach. We explored outside the resort as well and felt that the location couldn't be beat.
Duke's restaurant which is on the resort was surprisingly very delicious! The kids LOVED the POG slushie there, and I enjoyed my passion fruit ice tea every morning! Their poke tacos and the ahi tuna sashimi was amazing as well!
My girls said that this was the best vacation ever and they want to come back for spring break - haha.
Thank you for sharing your home. It was clean, comffy, and convenient! The staff at the resort was super friendly and Maui Nuts sent us emails almost daily of their recommendations which I thought was a nice touch!

This unit had great views and was situated in a way that gave guests a more private feel. We didn’t face into the hotel with all the hustle and bustle. We did that previously and felt like a goldfish In a bowl. This was private with great views of the ocean. The resort in from of us blocked the sunset but is better viewed from the beach. The hosts were accommodating to our needs and incredibly detailed regarding activities and restaurants on the Island which elevated our experiences. Thank you so much, we will return!

We had a great Maui vacation at the Honua Kai, which was made even better by the incredible Maui Nuts - Randy and Mary - and their wealth of tips for grocery shopping, activities, restaurants, gift shopping, and more! The condo was nicely appointed and the partial ocean view was great. We liked that we weren't looking across the building into other units too. The pool was loved by the little ones and we all loved the beach right outside the condo. The condo was well-stocked with everything you'd need to cook at home, enjoy a day at the beach (umbrellas, chairs, coolers, boogie boards), and relax! Communication with the Maui Nuts was easy too. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about this property and especially the owners Randy and Mary aka the MauiNuts. From the minute we booked until the end of our stay the communication from them was superb, helpful and the best I have ever had using a rental. They are completely professional, you should have ZERO qualms about renting from them, they are the real deal. We had a small hiccup during check in which was remedied immediately with 1 phone call to the owner.
The property was beautiful. Not only are the pictures accurate, they may not even do it justice. We stayed for 2 weeks with 2 adults and 1 12 year old and it was the perfect size, plenty of room to unpack and make ourselves comfortable. The view was great, we loved sitting on the lanai every morning and evening. Having an extra door onto the lanai from the bedroom was really nice. We loved that beach gear like chairs and an umbrella were included in the unit. The beds were VERY comfortable and my son remarked that his was the most comfortable couch bed he has ever slept in.
The grounds felt like a hotel resort rather than a condo complex. The pool was great but did get very crowded and after 9 am it was hard to find chairs so get there early. Having a restaurant onsite was fabulous, especially the poolside service! The staff were all friendly and helpful. We recommend this unit without hesitation and are already dreaming about a return trip. Mahalo MauiNuts for an amazing vacation!

I have used VRBO for 10 years and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. MauiNuts (Randy and Mary) were amazing, and their condo was clean, and had everything we needed (beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, kitchen well stocked). They provided us with all the information we needed to book the best experiences, restaurants, etc. If I had questions, they responded immediately. The condo was in a perfect location. We saw several turtles when snorkeling at the beach right in front of the property. Whalers Village was within walking distance, and the property itself was well maintained, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We had an amazing vacation and will definitely be renting from The Maui Nuts again!!

Comfortable and spacious. Love to have the full kitchen to save money by not eating out all meals. Great bathroom. So nice to have laundry to wash suits and towels. Snorkel and boogie board right off property. Close drive to Napili and Kapalua for snorkeling. Long walk to black rock and whaler's village. Dukes for dinner right there. Great pool for little kids to enjoy the slide. Nice view off the large balcony.

We loved out time in Maui, and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The place is even better than the pictures listed here. Randy and Mary were the best hosts we have ever worked with, and deserve all of the praise and 5 star ratings they have received. The owners went above and beyond to appoint the unit with useful things (e.g. food wrap, sugar, utensils, etc.). it was a lovely unit to be in, and has easy access to the pools and a great beach.

The booking and communication was very clear and from the beginning Randy and Mary sent all kind of relevant informations such as car hire, booking of tours, restaurants and Lua. They were super fast. in responding to any questions and. even help us to find out where to do the covid PCR tests that were required on returning to Canada. They also told us we can used their phone number to get discount on grocery at Foodland and safeway.
The unit is partial sea view, we love to sit at the balcony and enjoy the view and the breeze. It is very clean with both bathtub and shower. It has a super comfortable king size bed, lots of fluffy towel, fully equipped kitchen with lots of utensils. Do check out what they have before you go out and purchase it, as they have cling film, foil wrap, oil, spices, salt and pepper, ziplock bags and containers to pack home made sandwiches
etc. We made two meals there. There is also a safe to leave our passport and valuables. The best thing is they know what we will needa d thought of everything! It even has boogie boards and beach toys if you are travelling with kids. Just when we think we forgot to bring something to keep our car key to hang around out neck while snorkelling, we found a net that we could hang around our neck and use the ziplocks bag there to keep the key dry.
The location at Kanaapalli beach is ideal for us as it is our first trip to Maui where we want to be in the centre of activities. It is a long way to Road to Hana, we left at 6 am and was back around 6pm. We also drove to Haleakala for sunset, the journey took about three hours one way from this rental. However it is close to Lahaina. Weather was drier at West Maui. The pools, BBQ area was also very nice. We did the beach walk and went to Airport beach and Black Rock Beach to snorkel, saw sea turtle and all kind of fish/ coral. The beach towel is provided for at the lobby, so convenient. The location is walking distance to Snorkel Bob, food trucks, a cute eating and take out place called Fish Market.
Everything was absolutely perfect, thank you Randy and Mary. We used VRBO at least twice a year for many years now, this is by far the most responsive host and one of the best and enjoyable rental.

Honua Kai is a great resort for families. Several pools, water slide, lazy river, and hot tubs. The restaurant on property Duke’s is very good and convenient. The owners Randy and Mary are great communicators as they sent an email every day of the stay with helpful tips and information. The condo is stocked very well with kitchen essentials and beach toys and beach chairs. If you are deciding between this condo and another at a lower price, this condo is worth every dime you pay.

It is well appointed, with great set of cookware and everything that one need for relaxing vacation.
The location is probably the best on Maui, with excellent view of neighboring islands, long, golden sand beach and good reef just off the shore.

We haven't stayed at a condo before, previously preferring to stay at a hotel with amenities etc. This condo in Hanua Kai is part of a resort so it is different (better) than other condos you may have heard about. There are multiple swimming pools, plenty of seats, you're right on the beach, great walking opportunities, walking distance to a grocery store and multiple good restaurants, e.g. Honokowai Okazuya, Fish Market Maui and even Duke's right on the premises.
Randy and Mary are great hosts and have completely stocked the unit with the things you'll need ++. Of course basic 'hotel'-like needs are addressed but how about: boogie boards; beach chairs; popcorn; multiple coolers. Top it with a host like Randy who seemed always available to us to answer questions and offered multiple suggestions for outings and restaurants.

We just spent a much needed Spring Break at the beautiful Honua Kai property of "Maui Nuts" owners Randy and Mary. The condo was amazing and had everything we needed including beach/pool accessories, a cooler, chairs, etc. The ocean view was spectacular and we highly recommend this property. It was plenty of space for the four of us to wind down and relax after hitting the island attractions all day long. Randy and Mary sent tons of suggestions and were super helpful in our overall planning of our Maui trip. You will not be disappointed if you choose this property. This place is exactly how described in the listing and even better. This condo was the most stocked I have ever seen (and I’ve been in a lot of Vrbo’s!) Randy and Mary sent frequent emails of tips and restaurant ideas throughout the time from when I booked to even during the trip! The condo was clean, appliances are all newer and work great, bed was comfortable, and views are amazing! The condo is located close to Napili (10 min drive) and downtown Lahaina (10 min drive). There’s a parking lot outside the condos back entrance that has some amazing food trucks at night. There’s a grocery store across the street as well. The pools are all great but recommend getting a casabella. The chairs do fill up fast so it was nice knowing we had a reserved seat for the day. This place is absolutely perfect and we will be back!!
