Thank you for taking a look at our VRBO Surfside #313 property.

NOTE RE: Air Conditioning ("A/C") Update:
Currently, there is NO A/C. However, we use updated and efficient Ceiling fans in the main living room and bedroom, plus portable fans too.
However, the Kihei Surfside building is in the process of adding Air Conditioning “A/C” to those Owners who want to participate in the program, and Yes, I am participating. There will be (1) vent in the living room area and one (1) vent in the bedroom. The Surfside Manager anticipates the A/C to be completed by mid-May 2023 or beyond. Currently It is uncertain if the guest will have the option to either use or not use the A/C. One thing that is certain, there will be additional electricity expenses for a guest who utilizes the A/C. Either there will be an additional nightly charge for using the A/C or the nightly rate will just be increased. How much extra costs, no one knows yet. A lot of exact details are unknown at this time. Reservations effective mid May 2023 and beyond may have an additional A/C utility charge if guest utilized the A/C system. More to follow.

Now, as to our Surfside unit #313:
Luxury and comfort best describe this immaculate Kihei Surfside unit, a wonderful and very popular 1-bedroom, 1.5-bath unit on the third floor of the Surfside. The centerpiece of the unit is a gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line stainless-steel appliances, gorgeous granite countertops, and stunning eco-friendly bamboo cabinetry with full Euro self-closing guides. The latest and greatest Grohe faucets offer filtered water in the sink and refrigerator.

The condo can accommodate up to two (2) people.

The Surfside property is a “Smoke-Free” property.

In addition to the unobstructed ocean view, the living area has a Samsung 55-inch wall mounted Internet Wi-Fi Smart TV with HD Cable Box, Sound Bar, & Blue Ray DVD & CD player above a floating bamboo shelf. Both wireless (Wi-Fi) and cable high speed Internet, and free long-distance phone calls to the U.S. and Canada are provided. The living area has a contemporary sofa complete with a recliner chair. Interior dining with 3 chairs.

The master bedroom boasts a California King bed with high-quality linens for a luxurious night's rest. Both bathrooms are updated, and the hall bath has a Hand-blown Glass vessel sink from Russia! Master bathroom has new custom walk-in shower.

There are no laundry machines inside the condo, instead there is a common area laundry room on the ground lever open daily. Laundry room has updated washer & dryers accepting credit cards as well as a coin machine available.

The glass lined lanai (balcony) offers you the opportunity to relax and enjoy amazing ocean views just beyond the beautifully manicured Kihei Surfside lawn. Sunsets are a special time when most guests gather near the Surfside barbecues each evening and listen to the conch shells sing as the sun sets. You can enjoy a meal at the picnic tables near the barbecues, and there's an newly remodeled gorgeous oceanfront pool and putting green for your enjoyment.

What's more, you are just steps away from Keawakapu Beach, a popular white sand beach stretching all the way to Wailea! Keawakapu Beach, right next door to Surfside is just a 3-minute walk and you're on one of Wailea’s finest white sand beaches.

Maui Roosters? Recently a guest suggested I post information about the Maui Rooster population, that may or may not effect some "light sleepers" at the Surfside. This is an ongoing situation with Maui County and some guest report the early morning noise of Roosters "crowing" may interrupt their early morning sleep. If you might also be a "light sleeper", we suggest you bring a set of earplugs to offset this early morning noise.
