5/3-7/24 Roof Replacement - During this time, the Air Conditioning in the unit and the entire building will be down due to roof replacement, prices have been reduced to reflect this.
Many of our guests prefer not to use the air conditioning as we are typically Blessed with tropical trade winds, which is Hawaii's natural cooling system. Our units have nice cross ventilation which is controlled by opening the kitchen window and lanai sliding doors to let the trades circulate the air. During this time however, for added comfort, we will have circulating fans in the units to assist in added cooling. You may choose to lower the blinds to help keep the suns heat out once it comes around to the front of the building until sunset.
The Mahana has one of the nicest locations on Maui. Every unit is ocean front, about 50 feet from the waters edge with gorgeous views and waves rolling in almost underfoot. There is currently a Monk Seal that has been sunbathing directly in front of our building. Monk Seals are endangered so it is quite a treat for guests and the local population to view them in person. In addition, you might see a couple of turtles, mama and baby, that seem to nest or call The Mahana their home. Sunsets on the lanai are amazing, changing every day for great picture taking and an end to your day in paradise.

The floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean give the feel of an infinity pool- you can see turtles swimming below. The lanai is fabulous - perfect for morning coffee. The close location to the ocean allows for going to bed and waking up hearing the ocean- it is heavenly. The condo is well stocked.

This is the gem of Maui. Incredible place to both enjoy Kaanapali but also use as a home base for travel around the island. The views, location, supplies in the condo are all above expectation. My only regret is not staying longer. An incredible, incredible condo. My partner and I will be sure to return.

This condo was everything I had hoped for. Everything was clean well stocked, and views incredible. The pool was clean and warm and the residents and other visitors very friendly. Great location for viewing sunsets and turtles. Not so good for swimming and better down the road just a short distance. Watch for sharks though. They are there. Also close enough to order pizza delivered and to walk to groceries and dining. The concierge there was very helpful in finding great adventures for us.
It was truly magical and I would not hesitate to return however I was promised that the construction work would be completed by the time of our visit but unfortunately it was not. Spalling work with jack hammering is very noisy and I believe it will be going on until the end of summer 2023 but that is just my estimate. If you are gone all day, no problem but if you want to sleep in or lounge around it is pretty distracting. Still, a beautiful place that I would recommend to everyone.

The entire process from booking to checking out was seamless. Alicia was always in communication and making sure everything was going well.
Instructions were very clear on how to check-in and all amenities listed were in excellent condition. This unit has everything you need - kitchen is well equipped, living room has a nice setup with the best ocean views anyone could ask for (sunsets and whale watching!), and the bedroom provides much needed comfort for recharging.
My wife and I would find ourselves sitting on the Lanai for hours just enjoying the views and watching whales put on a show in the water.
I would highly recommend this unit and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for such great hospitality and ensuring our vacation was indeed paradise!

We had our honeymoon at this condo, and it was by far the best view imaginable. This location was well kept, extremely clean, stocked with everything you could think of and did I mention the view? You are right on the ocean and in on the 12th floor so it looks like you are literally floating on the water. The communication with the owner was fantastic. We traveled the whole island while in Maui, and if we get the chance to come back, we want to stay in the same condo because the view beats every other resort out there. Had such a great experience. Thank you to the owners for making our stay such a memorable one.

This penthouse condo provides amazing views of the ocean, sunset and stars at night. The owner obviously takes pride in providing a turn key experience by providing a well equipped kitchen, beach chairs and umbrella and much more. The manager was very response in answering a couple of questions we had. Location is superb in that it is so close to grocery store, food trucks and a number of restaurants.
Only downside is the current construction activity. We we forewarned and expected some noise. Fortunately, the noise was minimal and didn't bother us too much. If you are considering staying at the Mahana, make sure and inquire in advance about the construction.

This was a perfect place to start our honeymoon. The condo had everything we needed and more. The views were unmatched— it felt like we were actually on the sea. We could see turtles and coral from our lanai.
One hint: the grocery across the way is crowded, chaotic, erratically stocked and very expensive. It’s worth a stop at Costco or Safeway for essentials. The food trucks are fantastic!

The condo and view are both stunning. It’s short drive from Lahaina in one direction and several awesome snorkel spots in the other. Alicia is an awesome host and made sure everything went smoothly for us. You can see for miles across the ocean and I’m sure during whale season, it is very easy to see lots of them.
