This unit was perfect for our family. The unit itself was spotless, had an amazing view, and was well stocked with everything we needed (including beach toys and chairs). The resort has a great pool, we used the shared BBQs most nights, and was a stones throw away from a great beach for kids (Kamaole Beach III). Communication was Annette was great, and check in was super easy, even at midnight when we arrived. Overall, it was a great stay and we hope to be back soon.

Last week was such a magical one for our family, in large part because we had this home away from home to enjoy. Annette's condo is well appointed, clean and centrally located to everything in Kihei. It's also a great jumping off point for other areas in Maui, including the road to Hana. We'll no doubt be back. We are truly devastated by what we're seeing on the news about the wildfires and praying for all of those affected!

Annette's condo is in the perfect location to explore the West Maui. Kamaole Beach is right across the street and a great place to see turtles.
The condo itself is very clean, updated, and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipt - we had no problem finding what we needed. There were beach chairs and umbrellas available for use, which we did, everyday.
Communication with Annettte was great. She kept us informed and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend her lovely place and would stay again!

This condo was perfect for my family of four. Everyone had their own space and bathroom, the condo was very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed grilling and eating dinner at home most of the nights because we were so busy during the day.
Annette was wonderful to work with and always quick to answer any questions we had befire and during our trip.

This was a great condo. We had a wonderful view of the ocean and the sunsets. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was easy to get to where we wanted to go and is in walkable distance for restaurants and shops. Annette was great to work with and helped us as we maneuvered rain and flight changes. Very happy with our experience.

Jacquie at the check in counter was awesome! Very friendly. She gave us an upgrade, however we still didn’t get a room until almost 4pm.
Grounds at Nanea were beautiful. Villas north were very good, and Villas south were quite messy. Leaves everywhere. Lots of bird poop on chairs.
Very busy resort. Lots of people everywhere . Chairs placed very close to one another. People placed their towels on chairs to reserve them , which is not allowed. Staff did clean off chairs that were unattended for over an hour, but this didn’t happen with enough consistency so it was difficult to find space around the pool area unless you were willing to get up quite early.
The surrounding beaches and landscape are what truly makes this resort special. Lots of activities and restaurants nearby, although they were very expensive.

Annette the host is exceptional . With a couple of small issues she responded immediately and got things solved! The place is in a wonderful walkable location and the resort grounds and pool are beautiful and soooo inviting. I prefer not to use air conditioning when possible and the apartment affords great cross breezes. With only the screen closed to the lanai the pool noise is a bit loud in the evenings but hey… you’re on vacation!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at KS! The unit is very tastefully decorated and ideal for a family of 4 or two couples. A short walk through the property beautiful tropical garden will take you to an amazing swimming beach where we watched sunsets every night. An amazing snorkelling spot and endless stretch of beach where we swam with turtles is only a 10 min walk away. The resort offers everything for everybody - tennis courts, a large swimming pool and a well equipped gym.
The resort location is ideal, a walking distance to many great restaurants and shops.
We can’t wait to go back!!

The condo is in a large complex of buildings and is one of only a handful with an unrestricted sea view. It would comfortably sleep four, though we were just a party of two. The main sleeping room is on a mezzanine, overlooking the sitting room. A small, second bedroom is more private but does not benefit from the view.
The check-in process took a while but this was not the fault of the owner. The keys are held at the property entrance and several people were checking in as we arrived.
The unit is well stocked with utensils and would suit if guests enjoy home cooking. There is also a small balcony that seats four and access to shared pool and two hot tubs.
Maui is eye-wateringly expensive, right now, and this property offers a great alternative to sky-high room rates in nearby hotels.

Pros- Great location. We loved how accessible the 3 Kamaole beaches were, easy walk and always available parking if we decided to drive. Shops and restaurants close by. The condo was super cozy with lots of in unit amenities, we settled right in. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained.
Con- Although we loved the bedroom/bathroom loft, the air conditioning didn’t cool that area off. The ceiling fan helped a little but not much.

Wow! This condo never ceases to amaze us. Right from the moment you walk in the door, it is clean, all the furniture is new, beautiful, and comfortable, and the suite is very tastefully decorated. The view from this suite has got to be the best at Kamaole Sands! We didn’t even have to leave the condo to catch that amazing Maui sunset if we didn’t want to. Everything works great (all appliances, big and small) including the A/C which is so nice to have if you do want to get out of the heat for a bit.
Our family has been coming to Maui for the past 6 years and we have stayed at this condo every time, and every time we’re sad when it’s time to leave. Until next time, thank you for the beautiful suite to call home while we are visiting Maui.

From here, you can walk out front and have toes in the sand, snorkel, watch gorgeous sunsets, see whales blow. Just a five minute walk along the coastal trail and I saw 8 big turtles on the beach. Go up country and see botanical gardens, a goat farm and savor flights of goat cheese, sip lavender tea at a lavender farm, or get a tour at a distillery and see the sugar cane. A short drive away, fun zip lining. Drive to Lahaina and go whale watching, and visit a cacao plantation and get a chocolate tasting up in a treehouse. Or, drive to Wailea and enjoy elegant shops and very fine dining. Loved the butterfly farm on way to Lahaina and the Maui ocean aquarium is in the top 10. Breakfast and evening wine or gelato on the lanai every day. The front desk is 24/7 and Annette the owner is readily available and proactively checks to makes sure all is good.. oh and did I mention that the place is beautifully appointed and has a wonderfully stocked storage area on the lanai? This place is sure to please!!

Had a great stay in this very nice condo. A roomy condo for a family of 4 with great views and close to the pool area amenities.
The Kihei locations is great and we loved the beach right across the road. The Kihei boat launch is a very short walk for catching snorkelling tours, this was a great bonus as you didn’t have to leave early to drive and worry about parking.
Owner was very accessible and helpful, she really went beyond expectations. Thanks Annette you were overly kind to us!
Highly recommend and Would definitely stay here again.

We loved Kamaole sands and the awesome location. Close to shopping, restaurants, and beautiful Kam III beach. The condo was good but could use updating. Kitchen needs new appliances, knifes, etc. bedroom TVs are old and don’t work properly, also our bathtub was clogged so we had to shower in a puddle all two weeks. Beach chairs are old and disintegrating a bit, could be replaced as well. It was a nice condo but I don’t think we’d stay here again unless these items were fixed or replaced.

This property is exactly as shown in the pictures. It was super clean, and had everything you need for a great vacation.
The patio furniture was so comfortable and spent a lot of time out there are the view is amazing.
We had an unusual request of the property manager, and had a quick response with possible solutions. She also gave us information during our stay that we might have found interesting to attend.
We travelled with our two adult children, and the bedroom with the single bed open was great! We will definitely rent this again when our travels bring us back to Maui.

My family and I had the best vacation! Annette was super communicative and wonderful to rent from. Not only was the condo perfect for us (the upstairs fans were a definite plus for a comfortable night sleep), but the location was amazing. We saw 4 sea turtles the first morning we walked across the street to the beach. It was so fun to be able to do pool and beach hopping! If we come back to Maui and stay in Kihei we would love to stay here again!

My wife and I have been anticipating a dream vacation to Maui since married, and this experience did not disappoint. Anette was a pleasure to deal with. Her condo was perfect for us and our two young daughters (9 and 11). The unit is beautiful, has a fully equipped kitchen, great view and is quiet. The resort is located within a short walk to several great beaches, and various shops, restaurants, etc. It is also centrally located to popular restaurants, attractions (Road to Hana and Haleakala) and the airport. The resort amenities (gym, pool and grills) and grounds were well maintained and clean. The staff were very helpful and courteous. There was also live local acoustic music every Wednesday at the pool, which was an unexpected bonus. Needless to say, we loved Anette's place, and would highly recommend.

Kamaole Sands is our go to vacation spot and this time we needed a two bedroom. Found this unit on VRBO and what an amazing place it was. The beds were super comfortable, there were bathtubs (we had grandchildren with us so this was important), the kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked a lot of our meals ourselves (added a loaf pan as we made banana bread), loved having free wifi, couches and chairs were also comfortable, everything exceptionally clean, having the parking stall right near the elevator helped especially when brining in groceries, the greeting pack (shampoo, conditioner and soap) was a pleasant surprise and having the beach gear/towels was a real bonus. Would definitely stay here again if needing a two bedroom.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo! The condo was recently renovated and the decor is beautiful. The lanai furniture was very comfy! Everything was very clean, and the kitchen well stocked. The view of the Kamaole Sands gardens and the ocean was exceptional! The location of the condo is great, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond. My only regret was that we only spent 6 nights there - next time will be longer!! Mahalo!

The condo was excactly as pictured, very clean and in a great location! We had no problems renting the facility between the owner and the property management company and everything from booking to checking in went incredibly smoothly. The view was amazing and the sunsets from the lanai were fantastic. Plus being able to view the pool was helpful in deciding "pool or beach"! The beach proximity was so easy to get to and the condo beach supplies were most helpful. We will definitely be back!

We had an awesome vacation while staying 8 nights at this beautiful resort. The resort is very well maintained and everything is kept very clean with staff continually working at keeping it in top condition. The pool and hot tubs are excellent. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The unit is excellent! It has been recently upgraded and is beautifully decorated and very clean. The new kitchen with its new counter top and appliances is perfect with everything you’ll need. The master bedroom has a very comfortable king-sized bed. There is a good-sized 2nd bedroom located on the main floor. There are beach chairs, a couple of beach umbrellas, a cooler, a big insulated beach bag and boogie boards to make beach days awesome.
This unit is in a prime convenient location on the top (4th) floor looking down to the pool, the beautiful grounds and at the ocean in the distance. At least twice we sat and watched the sunset from the Lanai. The unit and its parking stall are both located short steps to the elevator. The unit has an air conditioner in the living room, but we never turned it on. We found that we could maintain a comfortable cooling temperature in the unit by having all the windows open, as well as having the ceiling fans going.
The location of this resort is perfect. An easy 2–3 minute walk from the unit, across South Kihei Road and you're on the beautiful Kamaole Beach III. You can easily walk north from the resort and get to some excellent restaurants and shops in 5-10 minutes.
We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend staying at this unit. Our only regret is not booking a longer trip. When we make our next trip to Maui we hope to stay here again!

I was very excited to be one of the first guests that this condo has housed since its is walkable to an amazing cinnamon roll/coffee shop.We had a really great vacation, except for a few issues that I'd like to share with you about the condo. The positives: The grounds are exquisite-super lush, you will not be disappointed.This particular condo is on the top floor (great for watching sunsets) and is right on the pool (which can be great or annoying if you are trying to sleep)and has AC.Also comes equipped with sand toys,chairs,etc.And,as described has new amenities:) The Cons:The biggest issue we faced was on arrival.The elevator in our building was broken & took 3 days to get it fixed. We took the stairs and it wasn't a big deal, although lugging our luggage & groceries up 3 flights is not exactly enjoyable.I wish the front desk had given us a heads up as we had literally just checked in 2 minutes before.I'm a clean freak so I had a few minor issues with the condo's cleanliness.The kitchen has tiny, tiny ants that roam on the counters.There were ant traps but the whole idea of insects on the counter where we prepare food is concerning.The upstairs the sink had old mold in the drain and the cabinets had a layer of dust on them.Little things, but as I said, I'm a neat freak and notice these things right away.Also,the upstairs bathroom didn't have a fan.The front bedroom which faces the sunrise needs blinds to block out the sun.I asked the rental office and the owner days before our arrival to have the twin beds pushed together in the 2nd bedroom and they forgot. My young son slept on the twin and fell out. After emailing, the cleaner came out later in the day to rearrange.Wish that could have been taken care of prior to our arrival. Also, the master bed does not have a mattress pad and the mattress is not exactly clean. On a side note, the pool and kiddie pool are maintained meticulously.

Kameole Sands is a great resort, with a nice pool and gardens.We like to walk so the short hop to the pool and short walks to a great beach, and nearby stores and restaurants made this an ideal location.
We had a nicely updated loft condo, but from what we have read (and seen) some of the units have been more recently updated than others so we'd suggest doing a little research about the unit you book. Based on chatting with others that were staying at this resort, before you book always ask about updated kitchen appliances, bathrooms, linens and towels before you book your stay. It will make all the difference between an okay stay and a great stay.
We'll be back again and booking a longer visit next time!!

My husband and I spent one week in this condo. We were extremely pleased with the unit and the location of the resort. The condo was beautifully furnished and super comfortable... could very comfortably accommodate two couples. The kitchen was newly renovated, with stainless steal appliances and a very comfortable breakfast bar. We really enjoyed the patio set, with great views of the ocean and gardens. The owners were most helpful to answer any questions we had prior to our trip. We also loved the resort's location - a walking distance to many great restaurants such as Sarento's and the Palms on the Beach and some of the best beaches in Maui. Every morning, we would walk or run on the beach and then swim in the ocean. Also, it was only a short walk away to many great shops and a market for food and beverage supplies. We really enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to get in our car and drive to places as it is the case with other resorts in Muai.
We also enjoyed the workout facility, tennis courts and swimming pool. We will definitely come back and say at this unit again.
