We stayed in Menehune Shores VRBO. The condo had absolutely everything we needed or could wish for in good working condition. We had the most spectacular view of the ocean, and were treated to birdsong every evening. The staff was friendly and helpful, and so was the owner of the unit. She called us to let us know what we needed to do in preparation of tropical storm Calvin. A great feature of the complex was the water fountain with filtered water. We would love to stay there again on our next trip to Maui.

This stay was absolutely perfect! The view was spectacular, the location is very central to everything, and the inside makes it feel like home. There is no AC, but that was never an issue. It gets pretty breezy in the early afternoon, so if you keep the windows open and the fans on then the inside temperature is cool for the entire day. The beach is directly below the unit, and there is a little cove that protects the beach from waves. This cove is a protected sea turtle mating area, so we did see sea turtles in this cove! The water is very shallow in the cove (maybe 3ft at most), so this beach is perfect for little ones. Lisa was very communicative the whole way through. The check out process was simple. My fiancé and I loved this stay so much that we plan to stay here again whenever we decide to return to Maui! Mahalo Lisa!!

This condo is lovely! Very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the view each morning as we ate breakfast on the balcony and then again each evening while relaxing after the day’s activities. The location is very central on the island and perfect for getting out to explore and enjoy all that Maui has to offer. It was our first time to Maui and we hope to return and stay here again!

The location could not have been any more perfect. We felt like it was pretty central to everything that we wanted to do on the island. The location of the condo had spectacular views! The condo complex was unique and had a total island vibe. If we come back to Maui in the future, we would love to stay here again. We loved this complex. It'sclose to everything in Kihei, yet away from the crowds. The high floor and central location in the building make it ideal for privacy and views. Lack of AC was a problem since the weather was very hot. Even with windows open, the afternoons were uncomfortable. The unit could use some de-cluttering, too. However, the price was right. I would come back in cooler weather.

This condo was wonderful, with an expansive water view. All amenities were perfect. The location is not too far from Lahaina or Wailea. There is no air conditioning but the breeze from the ocean was very nice. We were able to drive to restaurants but we really enjoyed the on site Indian restaurant a couple of nights, which was very convenient and delicious.

Lisa's oceanside condo in Kihei was perfect for our short stay in Maui. The condo is well appointed, and has everything you need for cooking, cleaning and relaxing.

Awesome view, condo was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Nice beach access. We were able to walk along beach to get to restaurants closer to center of Kihei but it was a little far. So the only downside was having to mostly drive to restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

My friends and I were impressed by how great this location was! It was amazing being steps away from the beach and a close driving distance to grocery stores, gas stations, food spots, and other beaches. We felt safe and comfortable at this location. The host was also quick to respond to any of my questions. It was my first time ever booking with VRBO and it was a good experience so I would definitely book this listing again.

My first time back to Kihei in years and this was such a great, quiet place to spend the week with my partner for our anniversary. Right on the beach with sea turtles visible from the balcony, facing west for the gorgeous sunsets Maui offers. Minutes away from everything in Kihea and on the edge of the town making trips to Paia, Lahaina, etc. so easy. Will definitely look out for this place the next time we return.

Loved it here. We weren’t packed in with all the resorts. Great location! Central to road to Hana to the East, Haleakala east and to west Maui. The condo is nice equipped with all the outdoor gear. We couldn’t tear ourselves of the balcony. That view will never get old!

Loved this condo. Views to die for. Saw turtles swimming right outside our lanai. Very comfortable!! Maybe some new pads for outside deck chairs would be nice. We just used inside couch pillows to help.

The condo is perfectly located in Kihei. It is quiet and away from the crowded tourists areas.
Every morning we had our sunrise coffee on the balcony while watching the islands across our way glowed. In the evening we were back to the balcony watching the sunset.
It is right on the beach. We walked miles on the sandy beaches. It is a short drive to our hiking trails. It is convenient to food and farms.
We cooked in or grilled out every night. The kitchen is well stocked with cookwares for both.
The cross breeze was nice so AC is not needed.

We will stay there again.

Communication with the owner was great. We had hesitated going since COVID-19 ramped up and the Governor was asking to not travel to Maui. We're both vaccinated and recently had tested negative as we did our due diligence as we didn't want to contribute to the growing spread. We took all of the precautions and our agenda was mostly to spend time on the beach.
Due to the rental car shortage, we decided to Uber/Lyft our entire trip for any restaurants or stores we needed to go to. The Lyft was about $45 to get to our location in Kihei. Arrived at the condo and it didn't disappoint. Everything was exactly as described. I am a very picky traveler and always need a great location and view no matter what. This condo was everything as advertised. The view was the #1 important factor of our stay. Yes, it's an older building but that's irrelevant. I can't tell you how many days/nights where naps were taken on the lanai. The condo was equipped with more than everything that could ever be needed. Lisa definitely has thought of everything travelers would need in the kitchen. As I've seen in previous reviews, it was warm at times in the condo. However, there is a couple fans that totally alleviated that issue. The trade winds were amazing as been noted. Another previous review had complained about the toilet paper. I can assure everyone that issue has been fixed. Lol. So ridiculous someone would even complain about that.
We had an amazing time and no issues at all during our week stay. We treated the condo as if it was our own and I hope all future vacationers do the same. This unit is a gem. Didn't need to contact anyone to fix any issues the whole time we were there. Thank you Lisa for sharing your great condo with us. We'll be back for sure!!!

Place was spotless. Super comfortable king bed and living room furniture. Air flow through the unit meant we didn't miss having A/C. Views were million dollar, location awesome. This is now our favorite on Maui's west shore!

The views are stunning from this condo! It has everything you need for a great stay on maui and is a fantastic location. It has a beach connected to the property that is blocked in by a rockwall that keeps it safe from currents and makes it ideal for families with all ages. We stayed for a swim meet and couldnt have been happier! Check in and check out were a breeze! I was hesitant because it didnt have any AC units but the breeze and fans were so great there was no AC needed.
Whenever we have swim meets in maui I will be planning to stay here- you've gained my loyalty for life!

Loved your place Lisa. The view and the unit was perfectly set up with all I needed to cook when I wanted to. Complex and pool area beautifully maintained. Heard the ocean and palm trees from the bedroom. Wifi worked great too.
Menehune shores is a great place and great location. I would come back again.

Only thing I would recommend is the pillows are very old in the king bed and need to be replaced.

My Wife and I stayed there June 10th through 14th, as others have said the property is well stocked and very nice there was even a tall longboard beer in the fridge which was great after a day of travelling, we returned the favor and also left a few of our own in there :-D , the views are unbeatable and we saw a sea turtle in the small fish pond below. We ate breakfast on the Lanai every morning. The on-site BBQ's work very well and the WiFi is super fast. The location is ideal because there is great shopping less than 5 minutes away and about 15 minutes away is Lahaina and Kaanapali . We will be back for sure! Thanks Lisa!!!
