We loved staying in this amazing rental. Rainbows and full moons in the morning. Turtles and soft breezes all day long. So quiet and relaxing. We have nothing but good memories. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The location cannot be beat and the property itself is wonderful. We saw sea turtles every afternoon and enjoyed the near private beach adjacent to the building. The condo is clean, well maintained and stocked, the check in/out procedure easy, and the owners are a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back very soon!

The view cannot be beat. Location is excellent, far enough away from the crowds of Kaanapali but close enough to have easy access to everything. Thoughtful touches like power bars and small kitchen appliances, well stocked. Nice accessible beach next door with turtles and monk seals coming up on the beach for a siesta. Lots of whale activity right out your patio door. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We visited in February and loved it. Ground floor unit makes easy access to beach/pool. Watched the whales during the day and walked out to watch the turtles come in at dusk. Would absolutely stay again, perfect location and the hosts were great to deal with. Highly recommend

I could not begin to express how much we enjoyed this condo. Spectacular ocean views. The lanai was great with a table for four. Sea turtles and whales everywhere. Kitchen was fully stocked with all our needs met. Mini air fryer was a hit. Bed in master was very comfortable. Enough towels for the week we stayed. Walking distance to a market and a few restaurants! We really had the best time. I love cooking and spotting for whales and turtles in the waves. It would have been great to have an EV charger on the property. Overall 5 out of 5 stars.

Enjoyed our stay in condo. Very clean with tropical decor. Great place to sit on lanai and gaze at ocean. The view is awesome. Except for sounds of ocean is quiet and away from crowds of Kanapaali. Kitchen Well stocked. Have portable AC in living area but never needed it. Nice ocean breeze with doors open and ceiling fans.

Incredible place on ground level, right by the water. We could wake up, walk to get coffee, and then walk right into the water and swim with sea turtles. We had a fantastic stay, and would absolutely come again.

This was mine and my husbands first time ever going to Hawaii, and this location was perfect for our first trip. The view out of the Lanai is gorgeous and so peaceful in the morning to wake up and immediately see the ocean when you step out to the living area. The bed is pretty comfortable and we are picky with our beds. Communication with Don was extremely easy and he was always quick to respond, he even gave us pointers on things to do to kill time on our last day on the island. The location is nice, just being a short drive into Lahaina was really convenient without being in the busy traffic.

We loved the beautiful location and Condo! It had Everything we needed and then some. We were gone exploring most days, but when we were there the residents and other guests were very friendly. Sea Turtles were on the sea wall in front of the condo and a very nice beach right next to it. We had a wonderful vacation. Thank you Don and Yolanda!

We have stayed in a number of Kahana Reef apartments and this was among the best. Its beautiful ground floor location with lawn access, well set up with everything we needed. We hope to visit again.

The area is not as crowded as the Kaanapali and Lahaina areas. Nice small beach for swimming next to the complex. Great sunsets. Condo had everything we needed.

Had a great time visiting family in the area. Perfect location! Great Condo, Wonderful view!!! Very well equipped. Had everything I needed. Owners were easy to work with and responsive. Only issue was construction going on in the complex and also in the unit above. Owners warned me about the complex repairs. They did not know about the owner project above. No notice was given to HOA by the owner about their remodel. Don & Yolanda worked with me to mitigate the inconvenience. I would rent again!!!!

This is a very nicely decorated well stocked condo. It is conveniently located close to Lahina Town to the south. To the north, there many small beaches located a short drive for snorkeling, boogie boarding , surfing or paddle boarding. We saw whales every night from our lanai with our binoculars. Beautiful sunsets almost every night.

Beautiful sunsets and a very comfortable bed along with a well stocked kitchen, everything needed to make a relaxing vacation in Maui. Don't forget to check out Honolau Bay, just 15 min up the road for the islands best snorkeling.

Although the property was a little dated, it was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was updated but small so we had to work on "sharing" facilities. Property was listed in Lahaina but was really in Kahana.

Beautiful property. Enjoyed the lanai especially in the mornings and late evenings. Close to amenities and other tourist locations. Took many pictures of the sunsets and even got up at night to take a picture of the full moon. Very picturesque.

Loved our 8 day stay at this Kahana Reef condo. Highlight of our time was seeing whales breaching right outside our lanai. Bed was comfortable and condo was very clean. What more could you ask for!

This was our second stay at this beautiful condo. We really like the convenience of this particular condo. It is in the center of the complex, close to both grills, and right across from the laundry room. It is just steps to the ocean and very close to a small private beach. Every morning we had our coffee on the lanai and watched the whales and most evenings we ate dinner on the lanai and really appreciated the new outdoor light that the owner installed. It is a very quiet complex and, even though it can be a bit hectic out on the road, it's just a "little piece of paradise" once you are inside the complex. Since our last visit, the owner has put in a beautiful, tiled walk-in shower, added a large smart TV, new comfy bedroom mattress & new sleeper sofa. All the conveniences of home are provided and we can't wait to come back again next year!! Thanks Don & Yolanda for sharing your Maui retreat with us!! Also, thanks to Nancy who was always close by if we needed anything!!

The Northwest Maui shore was the best for snorkel spots. This oceanfront condo was perfect for our 8 day stay. Plenty to explore in the area and not a bad drive for any South shore day trips.

This one bedroom ground floor West Maui condo was ever better than advertised. It was well appointed and even without AC the fan system and the ocean breezes kept the condo very comfortable. It was only 30 feet from the sea wall and the sunset views were spectacular.. Unlike a lot of condos in the complex the patio had a light which allowed us to eat our dinner on the patio every night. Although we were only a couple, the hide a bed in the living room would be more than adequate for another couple and the rest of the space could easily handle four people. The four story complex had a manager on site and was very well managed. The barbeques were very good quality and very well maintained. Being on the ground floor, the nearest barbeque was only about 25 feet away which we certainly made use of. While the pool is small it was never crowded and a small beach was only a short walk away. The complex is situated in a very quiet residential section of West Maui although a small shopping plaza with two banks is only a short walk away. There is a pay laundry on the premises that also has a small uncontrolled lending library. You can get quarters for the laundry mat at the local bank which seemed quite used to the request for a bunch of quarters. All parking is provided in a outdoor lot and we could always find a space. All in all highly recommended.

Enjoyed our stay at our Kahana Reef Condo. Lovely one bedroom, one bath condo with impressive ocean views complete with sunrise/sunset visibility. The condo is ground level for easy transition from transportation to lodging. The kitchen is stocked with necessary items if you are planning on cooking your own meals. Recent updates were made just prior to our visit. We enjoyed sleeping on a brand new bed and the shower update was perfect for getting the grit and sand off your body. And there was a new TV as well. However, who has time to watch TV when there is so much to see and do?? Our visit was in October, the condos were fairly quiet, no unruly people and no loitering in the area. We felt perfectly safe and secure. Even though there is no washer and dryer in the unit, the laundry facility is just across from the front door so it is easily accessible. The location of the unit was in walking distance of several eating establishments and snorkeling rentals. The one thing to consider is that the condo is not airconditioned. We enjoyed the breeze at night but honestly we weren't there during the daytime when the sun was the hottest. It was not an issue for us. If you are sleeping 4 in this unit then it might get tight with extra bodies and luggage. Our stay was wonderful, there were no issues to deal with, we loved the waterfront views and the communication with the owners was exceptional. We recommend this unit!!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was about what we expected from the pics on the website. It's a basic condo with a view that makes it great. The kitchen was supplied with the basics, nothing was lacking for our limited cooking. The bed was very comfortable and having a TV in the bedroom was nice. I contacted the owners once during our stay and the owners were very responsive. Great food options within walking distance. We would come back and stay at this condo again.

Sitting in that Lanai, watching the waves breaking at the reef, wind surfers enjoying their play, early whales breaching, what else is there that one needs. The kitchen is great, the bathroom just fine, good shower and the bedroom with the window able to be open, lets the trade winds sweep thru. We just enjoyed our stay and it was so nice when we arrived to enter into a meticulous clean place which makes one feel good right away.

Me and my wife stayed in this lovely apartment for a week and I must say this was one of the best places that we ever had to stay in Hawaii.
The owner was very helpful and nice, the views are so beautiful right in front of the apartment with lots of beautiful beaches around.
The apartment itself was very clean and nice with lovely kitchen, we defiantly recommend this place and I am sure we are going to be there next year too.

I stayed at this property for a week in March/2016 along with my wife and 2 daughters. The unit had everything we needed and was exactly like the pictures. We loved being close to the ocean, often just laying around on the lounge chairs on the grass watching the beautiful Maui landscape as the ocean waves crashed against the sea wall. The small relatively private beach close to the unit, was great and perfect for my girls.
After several trips staying in the Kaanapali resorts, this was a welcome change. The proximity to the ocean can't be beat. We often would pick up some fresh fish to barbecue and then eat on our patio while enjoying the ocean just steps away. I was a bit concerned about it being a ground floor unit, but it actually turned out to be a big plus. My girls could just walk out on the lawn and play without having to go down stairs or elevator. The complex is very mellow, a mix of owners and renters. We hardly saw anyone walking past our unit so we never felt our privacy was compromised being on the ground floor.
I can't say enough good things about this unit and what an incredible value it is compared to the large Kaanapali resorts. The owners were easy to work with and prepared us beforehand with all the info we would need. We can't wait to go back!

Our family of 4 stayed here for a week and we're so pleased. The access to the beach is steps away. We felt as it was a private beach for us only. The ocean views are the best we have seen on Maui. The home had everything you needed from kitchen wear to beach chairs. There is laundry facilities on site which were useful for the bathroom towels. We would recommend this place to anyone. My husband and I spent a month in this wonderful condo to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The description and pictures on the website were very accurate and the condo was very clean and well maintained. The location is perfect and even closer to the water than we even imagined!! We liked the fact that the condo was on the ground floor and in the middle of the complex. It also had easy access to the laundry room. We enjoyed having coffee and breatkfast on the lanai every morning while watching the whales. It was also great to see the sea turtles!!
When we arrived in Maui, we went to Costco and stocked up on food and things we would need for our stay because it's the best place to shop in Maui and by far the cheapest!! We grilled most of our meals and found it so relaxing just to eat on the lanai and enjoy the view that we didn't even out to restaurants much. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! The king size bed in the bedroom was great and very comfortable. There was even a printer there which we used several times. I was also very pleased by the well-lit bathroom.
We had a great and very relaxng vacation and we would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great, quiet place to stay right on the ocean!! We definitely hope to return very soon!!

It was great to be able to watch & swim with the abundant sea turtles right from the property. Two small beaches at property and not crazy,, crowded. We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai/deck. It was nice to have A/C in the bedroom and a key-code door lock so you didn't have to worry about fumbling for a key all the time.

Beautiful Ocean Front Condo with an excellent view of the ocean from the living room and lanai. Only 40 feet from the ocean. There were no surprises. The condo was exactly as described and shown on VRBO. The owners provide all the information needed to make your stay pleasant. Plenty of amenities to suffice your vacation needs. A very comfortable bed even for a 6'3'' man. No A/C needed with this facility. There is a pleasantly comforting breeze that flows from one end of the condo to the other which is very relaxing especially in the evening. Also the sound of the ocean helps you get that good night sleep needed for the activities planned for the following day. Thank you for allowing us to use your vacation home as our own during our 2 week stay in Maui. I felt like this was a home away from home. The condo looks out onto the well maintained grounds, and beyond to the blue ocean and majestic island of Molokai. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook your meals, but if you feel like eating out, the condo is only a few minutes away from some of the best restaurants on Maui. There are so many great things to see and experience and this west Maui location makes a convenient home base for them all. Whether you are snorkeling, whale watching, kayaking, hiking, shopping, or fine dining, you'll be happy to end the day back at this enchanting home away from home. I can't wait to go back.
