This was our 4th time staying in Menehune Shores and our 2nd time in the same unit. We brought our some of our kids and grandkids and actually had 2 units. They all loved it. We love love the location. It is quiet and beautiful. When going to Maui this is always our top choice. Owner communicates very well.

We really enjoyed our vacation in Marilyn's condo. The condo, the grounds, the ocean view were all wonderful. Marilyn was very easy to work with and I would definitely stay here and in Kihei again.

The property was in a terrific location and the pictures accurately capture the condo. The facilities are well maintained. We traveled with my elderly mother, who uses a wheel chair. The building has an elevator and the condo layout was easy to navigate. The walk-in shower was perfect for her. We installed a mobile grab bar to improve shower safety.
The owner was extremely responsive after I reported a needed repair.

Loved walking the beach in the mornings. Bonus is seeing turtles in the lagoon area everyday. Enjoyed nightcaps in the lounge at the Monsoon Restaurant. Pool and barbecue areas were very nice. Looking forward to visiting here again.

Had a great time at Menehune Shores for a girls vacation. The property is right on the beach and has beautiful views of the ocean. The condo is stocked with everything you need for the kitchen and bathroom. There is even snorkel gear in the closet. The beach has a very shallow enclosed area that was used for trapping fish in the past. It’s a great area for small children to wade around. Sea turtles like to come into the shallow areas of the beach and sit on the rocks, we enjoyed watching them. If you want to shop, it doesn’t take long to get to Lahaina or Wailea, because Kihei is centrally located. We had a great trip!

Location and community are centrally located and easy access to shopping, restaurants and snorkeling. The condo is perfect for two couples. The view and water are beautiful. Only suggestion we have is that the floors could use a good cleaning.

Marilyn's condo was so comfortable and clean and in an excellent location. I stayed here with a coworker and we both had our own bedroom and bathroom. The beds are comfortable and the breeze is amazing when you open the windows and doors. The condo was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. It was close enough to the highway that we avoided the traffic heading further into Kihei. Located one mile from some amazing restaurants (definitely go to Nalu's- great food, atmosphere, and live music), and the restaurant, Monsoon's, located at the complex, has delicious food and an unbelievable view. Don't miss the rooftop sunset and blowing of the conch shells.

We were excited about being able to rent this property because our son and grandchildren were staying in the same complex. The views are just as pictured and described. Marilyn is a good property owner and made us feel welcome from the start. Would definitely visit this property again in the future.

This rental property is literally perfect. I want a condo in the same location! We got to see turtles every day and night, right out on the beach in front of the condo. The fish pond is awesome with a ton of little fishies swimming around but you have to be careful not to swim up on a turtle under water.
Kihea is an excellent jumping off point to reach anywhere in the island. It took us 1 hour to reach our furthest destination which was the top of the Haleakalā to see the stars at night, totally worth it.
The condo has a rooftop bbq area to access, shuffleboard, a beach front bbq, and a nice pool. There are beach toys, chairs, umberellas, and sand toys in the unit to use too.
I love this place and will definitely making this trip again.

This was a gem of a listing! Right on the ocean in front of a lagoon where beautiful turtles live, but not overly crowded or too touristy feeling. Just right. We would love to visit again. Thank you Marilyn!

We enjoyed this condo. the patio view was beautiful at sunset! It was a bit warm at nights so we definitely used the fans! I love having 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us adults. The traffic was touch and go due to some construction on the 2 way street and the beach was only mediocre but it was as pictured and described so that is fair! The manager was very prompt and sympathetic to our needs :)

Wonderful location . Perfect for 5 of us , just feet away from beach , turtles everywhere, nice pool ! When we arrived place was not cleaned well! Stain on box spring pad, crumbs on couch , dirty bathrooms and dirty dishes . Property manager did have housekeeping come re clean place ! Not how you want to start out your vacation when exhausted from traveling and had to wait about 2 hours for place to get cleaned . After cleaned everything was wonderful! Property manager was lacking conflict resolution skills . She did work with us somewhat .

Overall this is a wonderful property with a stunning view. No need for a/c as it is shaded and breezy. Could use a little updating but thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Ma’alea Bay is perfect for whale watching. Our place looked south and west right on the beach. Restaurants are still open so good eats are still available with reservations and vaccinations in order. As Rick Steve’s says “go get out there”

Fully equipped, but not cluttered. Well maintained it had everything we wanted. We’ve stayed at a few communities along the Kihei shore and love the heated pool, rooftop deck and on site restaurant and bar.

We loved the location -- close to restaurants and shops, and wonderful beach just steps away. The sea turtles were amazing! The condo is very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. It is an older building, but well maintained (it may be due for a paint job but otherwise, very pleasant). The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We will definitely be back.

Overall this condo was very comfortable and we love the location and views. The sunsets were spectacular and we saw the turtles almost every day. Once we learned how to manage the trade winds with windows and doors, we didn’t miss air conditioning. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beach chairs, towels and toys were used daily.

The sunset from the lanai was spectacular! Marilyn was very responsive in our communication. The condo was a great layout for our family of 5 and having 2 bathrooms was really helpful.
Also, we saw more turtles in front of the condo than we did snorkeling. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Difficult to review, as we enjoyed ourselves eventually, but the unit was filthy at check in time. I called property manager who then contacted cleaning crew. We were asked to vacate premises for 2 hours so they could clean. We had to leave our bags and clear out until after 6:00!! They returned with towels the next day. NOT the way we hoped to begin our stay after a very long day of travel! However, the location and views were very nice.

We enjoyed this Condo with pool and Ocean views. Close to stores, shops and gas. Ocean break area was nice for the little one and turtles sunbathing everyday. Condo was stocked with everything you need for cooking, extra linens and towels. Would stay here again.
