The unit is great, only downside. One of the rooms was facing the street and the noise was really uncomfortable ! Really hard to get a good night sleep with that noise. It’s unfortunate cause the location is actually great with a fantastic view of the the ocean.

The location was beautiful and quiet. Overall, the unit was a nice place for our vacation. There were 5 of us. Having stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani back in 2018, we chose Wailea for its beauty and location. However, we wanted to note some improvements to the unit that would have made the trip more comfortable and special. The pros: The view from the unit was beautiful. The pool was nice and warm. The property of Ekolu was clean and beautifully landscaped. The unit had all the necessities we needed for our weeklong stay. The AC units were working properly and much needed. The cons: the beds were not comfortable. The king bed had big dips when laying down, so our backs were not happy. The twin beds in the second bedroom were noisy and hard. Having our 81yr old mom with us on the trip, we cooked dinner every night. The knives were not sharp. The freezer door did not close all the way at times, so we had ice cream melt while out all day. The sofa was not very comfortable for sitting, too stiff and noisy when changing sitting positions. We used the sofa bed and that was not very comfortable as well. The rug was a jute rug and therefore, it was not very comfortable to walk on. It was rough in texture and not ideal for sitting or walking on. We had an incident where the sliding bathroom door accidently locked and we could not open it from the outside. We had to call the property management office and have someone come into the unit to unlock the door for us. They were helpful and quick but still the door should be fixed so it doesn't happen to future renters.

We had a great stay. Rental was clean and beds comfortable. Enjoyed the provided beach chairs, beach towels and toys. Hotel pool was also nice and a short walk from the rental. Everything was as described. We cooked breakfast and a couple of dinners in the kitchen, which was fine. We had enough dishes, pots and pans for a family of six. I did wash some of the dishes before I used them just because they seemed to have sat in the cupboard unused, but not dirty. The nonstick fry pan could be replaced and some of the beach towels. Used the washer and dryer units, too. Everything worked well. We didn't use the AC. The weather was so nice during our stay, just having the fans on was lovely. The front door was tricky to open and my son who arrived earlier than the rest of the group, couldn't get it to open. It was after office hours so there was no one to reach with issues. He walked to the pizza place and when he came back later was able to open the door. Otherwise, check-in was very easy. I appreciated the email with clear instructions prior to our arrival. Rental was easy to find. Walked to the shops. The beach is a little far for walking, but we drove to many different beaches while on the island, so that didn't matter for our group. We wanted to stay somewhere quiet and beautiful and that's exactly what we enjoyed. Thank you.

Loved our stay at this vacation rental. We loved relaxing on the lanai, but could also enjoy the beautiful ocean view from the living/dining room. You could enjoy sunset from the couch! Great location! Wailea beach is a 3 minute drive and has parking, but is also walkable if you wanted to. Highway is close by. Quick drive to Kihei, all South Maui beaches (loved Makena Beach), shopping and restaurants. Also, shopping and restaurants within a 5 minute walk.Kitchen had everything we needed. My only disappointment was the pool wasn't heated, but kids had no problem jumping in and swimming. Totally recommend staying here.

This unit is in beautiful Wailea, on the prestine grounds of Wailea Ekolu Village. The unit is equipped with all the essentials, so it makes for a carefree trip. The pool and barbeque were a nice bonus!

We unexpectedly had to change our travel plans and ended up booking Wailea Ekolu last-minute. Maui Rentals was so helpful; Michelle made the booking process so easy. And the condo itself was fantastic. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, etc. The sunset views from the Lanai were inspiring. The internet/phone line had a weird connection problem but Spectrum came out the next day and Maui Rentals offered to be present while the work was done. Again, so easy to deal with! If anything, the highway is a bit close and you'll hear some traffic noise, but it's easy access to the highway! A good trade-off in my mind. Thank you for allowing us to stay in this great property. We hope to come again some day.

The condo was lovely, great view and very comfortable. Walking distance to the beach, so we didn't need a car! The traffic noise from the nearby road was a surprise, especially at the beginning and end of the day. There was also construction happening during the week at a nearby condo with lots of tile cutting/saws (not sure how long that will be going on).

There was mold in the air conditioner in one of the bedrooms and the connecting bathroom had a toilet that ran constantly and the shower head was bent. There was an electric bbq pictured in the ad that was at the property when we arrived but when we used it, I received a message from the rental company that we couldn't use it. Someone from the company was suppose to pick it up but didn't while we were there. The view was great and location was good but we wouldn't rent this unit again.

Overall the condo was great. It was very well equipped in the kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of towels and beach towels . Lots of beach equipment but 2 of the beach were very worn and straps were broken .The view is amazing and the private patio with a small lawn area was very nice. We had a few maintenance issues. The master bathtub was plugged for most of our stay. The ice maker on the fridge didn’t work and there were numerous pests inside the house , maybe time for an exterminator. The beds were comfortable and soft sheets. Everything was clean when we arrived. The pool was nice and not too far. It is a bit of a walk to the beach especially if hauling chairs and such.

We stayed here with a group of 5 in September. It was a bit tricky finding the property with our GPS but we eventually found it. Tip: if you’re coming from the Wailea Shops shopping center you turn right on Wailea Ike Pl after the entrance to the Wailea Village shopping center. You will see a sign leading to Buildings 1-5. Our stay was wonderful. The view from the back patio is pretty amazing and the pictures from the website didn’t really do it justice. There is A/C in all the bedrooms that gets the job done and there is a washer and dryer in the unit for dirty/wet clothes. Parking is also just outside the unit. It was a great stay and I would definitely come back.

Amazing and breathtaking view that has to be seen in person to truly appreciate! The unit is simply, with some age, but clearly upgraded in many areas with some fixtures and amenities as of late. We had a few delayed responses to some questions during the stay and I never got a response about the option to mail some clothing items left behind accidentally (I asked if I could pay for the shipping). Nonetheless, the place worked well for two adults (one in each room). The beach gear, insect repellant and cleaning/laundry supplies were an added bonus (whether from the owner or other guests paying it forward).

The Condo was in a great location, near the Wailea Shops and resorts with many food and shopping options. There is a grocery store that is just 2 min away by car. We enjoyed the Wailea golf course which is walking distance from the condo. The view of the ocean and Molokini from the lanai is unbeatable! Pro - Good sized rooms, dual suites with a bathroom in each room for privacy. Spacious living area and fully-stocked kitchen. We cooked everyday and hardly had to buy anything besides the food itself. Outdoor BBQ was very easy to use and Lanai area attached to an open grassy area. AC in living room was useful and cooled effectively. TV and internet worked great. Areas of Improvement: Consider using keyless entry as the single key for the front door was hard to keep track of/could be lost easily resulting in an additional charge for guests. Found a few roaches (which is normal for a ground-level unit in Hawaii) and could've used some indoor insect spray to keep them away. AC in the bedroom facing the ocean didn't work that well to cool the room. Since we stayed for a week, could use more than 2 trash bags for a smallish trash can in the kitchen. Overall, these are just minor things that can hopefully make the experience even more enjoyable for others.

Whenever we travel to Maui, we always stay at Wailea Ekolu Village due to its close proximity to beaches, resorts, restaurants and shopping. Though this unit may not be the most updated it was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed with all the amenities you will need during your stay. Not to mention, the view is phenomenal. There was a little bit of road noise, especially in the second bedroom, but otherwise was very quite and private. Overall we felt this unit was a great value and would definitely stay there again.

It has an ocean view, but not as close as I'd like. Everything you need for the ocean, but didn't want to bring with you, such as beach chairs, boogy boards, umbrellas, snorkeling stuff, etc. The kitchen is really well equipped. We had a wonderful time. The only thing we would have liked, but couldn't find were binnoculars. It would have been helpful to have instructions for the various remotes, i.e., set up radio, movies, tv, etc.
