This place greatly exceeded expectations because of the location and amenities. Communication with the property company was efficient and responsive. There was a slight mixup on one of the procedures, but the company sorted it out quickly. Having the equipment for the beach made it so convenient. Only thing I'd suggest is an operation manual for the air conditioner and the timer in the living room area. Wonderful place!

This condo is so close to everything you could possibly need. It’s newly updated and very clean! The chairs, umbrella and towels were so helpful to have too. Also loved how it was such a short walk to the beach!
Only thing that was sort of confusing was that in the photos online it still has the before pictures and the updated ones which without reading the little description as I swiped through confused me and actually made me skip the listing a couple of times.
I highly suggest deleting the old photos and just keeping the updated photos.
Other than that, everything about this place is great!! Will definitely be coming back!

Literally walk across the street to the beach. Great food within a couple of blocks. The condo is "as advertised" except I think you can make it to the beach in less than three minutes! :-) We had a bit of trouble with the lock box not opening at first. We fiddled with it for a bit, then we called the number provided and left a message. They called in less than 10 minutes, and we figured it out - I think the key was wedged against the box release. If I ever make it back to Kihei, I would happily stay here again. Thanks!

Really enjoyed the location of the condo. It was nice they provided chairs, towels, coolers and umbrella. The fans in the bedroom helped at night. For the price it was overall great. Nothing fancy but had all we needed.

Excellent location, right across the street from the beach that has everything you need, including perfect sunsets. It is walking distance to many great restaurants and stores. The grounds are beautiful and clean with a lot of easy parking. The management was quick to respond and offered great information. The condo is comfortable and has all the basic needs. The kitchen is well equipped with supplies but no pantry items. The bed is comfortable and there is plenty of closet space. Of note, there are a lot of beach items but the chairs and umbrella are well used. The kitchen and lanai cold use a bit of updating for the price, but overall the condo has everything you need.

Second time staying in this condo. It is so close to the beach, that carrying chairs/supplies to Kam beach is a breeze.
Staff were all very friendly. We stayed for the Kihei Kai Nani Christmas dinner, such a good idea.
The condo has lots of supplies for the beach.
We will book there again. Just so easy to access the beach and Kihei.

Such a great location, right across from a popular beach. The building is older and this unit is in need of an update. Otherwise, it was comfortable and well stocked with everything you'd need for the beach and/or preparing meals at home. Maybe they could replace the mismatched dishes with brand new white ones! And maybe get rid of some of the kitschy Hawaiian decor.

Kihei Kai Nani is a beautiful, quiet property close to restaurants and shops. The beach is clean and literally across the street from the driveway. Every employee we met was friendly, courteous and helpful. This unit is perfectly situated near parking, the pool, and the beach. It was clean and all the necessary amenities were included. Jeremy was very easy to work with and always responded immediately to my questions. I would recommend renting this unit to anyone.

Came with beach umbrella, beach towels, tupperware, and coolers which was super handy.
Full kitchen.
Only supplied smallest amount of shampoo and conditioner.
Dinner table was sticky to the touch on the first day. The shower mat and carpet were grungy as well. The tiles for was dirty to begin with as well.

We had such a great time staying here. It is so close to the beach and super comfortable. There was one little hiccup with the pull out couch, and it was fixed in no time! We just loved it here.

We were happy with the deal that we got when booking this location as we had the impression it was not going to be fancy but at least decent.
Unfortunately, this unit came with various issues.
The first being that the patio lock was very difficult to open and close. The room has carpet which you cannot see in the photos and in my opinion is not very sanitary. Behind the bed on the window cill you can find bug droppings.
The AC is also not central, only available in the living/kitchen area so the bedroom you must use a fan. It wasn't too bad however I wish I knew this ahead of time. There also isnt central lighting, all lamps.
The cabinets and cutlery all have a bad smell. I had to rewash them with the dishsoap - which they were nice enough to provide. The microwave doesn't spin and the dishwasher left a few dishes unclean so we had to put those in again for another wash.
We found two giant bugs in our unit, one of them a centipede that was still alive and what looked like a dead roach in the living room. There were three dead big bugs in the closet floor in carpet. We felt uneasy about the place after this.
The host does provide beach gear, towels soap and everything you could need which was nice. The pool is very nice and barely anyone uses it at the same time.
I did find customer service to be helpful but the problem is there were too many pest issues which made me question the cleanliness of the complex. If this doesn't bother you and having a close beach is a priority, it's still a very decent stay.

I thought the apartment was great. It was not fancy, but it had everything you needed. I really liked that it had beach chairs, a boogie board, and other beach items. They also had extra blankets, coolers, etc. I really enjoyed our stay.

Love the convenient location, easy check-in/check-out and the beautiful beach across the street. The place was clean, but needs a little TLC, such as: 1) Sofa-bed is broken. We used it once and had to call maintenance to put it back. We were unable to use it again as a bed. 2) Refresh paint of cabinets in kitchen and bathroom. 3) Replace screen-door mesh. 4) Replace light fixture in bathroom (on top of mirror) as only 2 of the 6 bulbs work. Other than that, our stay was great and we had a lot of fun. Hope to go back soon. Thank you.

Inside the apartment, it felt like living in the 1980s in a third world country. But it had easy access to the beech and coffee shops and restaurants. We wouldn't stay there again, but whoever owns these properties knows that already.

When planning our travel, Jeremy was so helpful with any questions we had regarding our accommodations or activity recommendations during our stay. Loved that the property was within walking distance of so many places to eat and across the street from a beautiful beach. The condo was clean. Would've liked a/c in the bedroom. The condo was a bit dark, not enough light in the front room. The complex had plenty of parking and was quiet.

From the very beginning, the owners were a delight to deal with. They provided me with excellent information about Maui and their condo. The condo was so clean when I got there that I thought the refrigerator had just been delivered. The condo had everything that I needed and more! The bed and furniture are extremely comfortable and allowed me to have deep sleeps as well as much needed naps after gorgeous time spent on the beach (which is about a 3 minute walk from the condo) . The owners have clearly spent time in Maui and understand the importance of extra towels and linen, cooler bags, beach accessories and so much more. I had a wonderful time and look forward to staying again.

The lady in the office was very sweet and helpful. Had everything we needed extra towels, sheets, AC, and kitchen utensils. The condo is across the street from the beach and is walking distance to many places to eat. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the condo to friends and family. The condo is located right across the street from three stunning beaches. Boogie boards, great beach chairs, big beach towels and an umbrella are provided so vacationing starts the moment you arrive! On the days you don't feel like driving, there are restaurants, pubs , shopping and great food trucks close by!!
The well kept pool is set at the perfect temperature for an afternoon lounge or an evening dip. Exploring the island is made simple with the coolers provided and a quick stop at the nearby deli! This condo is a welcoming home away from home.

We had a great time staying here. The beach was directly across the street, which we loved and it was close to many shops and restaurants. We loved catching the sunset every night... just a 2 minute walk to the beach from the condo. This was the first time staying in Kihei and we really loved the laid back feel (Not as commercialized as Lahaina/Kaanapali side). Location was great and easy to get to different places on the island. The condo had everything we could possibly need. Beach chairs were great and we even used the beach sand toys and boogie boards. Plenty of coolers were available for our daily outings, lots of beach towels and even shopping bags / beach bags as HI has the no plastic shopping bags rule. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook many meals, plus used the BBQ close by. The kitchen even had some spices available, so we didn't need to buy those! The pool was great for the few windy days we had. Jeremy was great to work with and the on site management was also great. We had the disposal go out one day and it was taken care of very quickly. We had a late flight out and Jeremy was very accommodating to allow for the late check out. Mahalo Jeremy!

What a delightful condo. It has everything travellers could possibly want. Every little detail is included in this very clean condo and well-managed complex. Shopping, restaurants, beaches--this location has it all. It's also the perfect base for any sightseeing trips. Be sure to catch a gorgeous Maui sunset at the beach right across the road!

My husband and I stayed for 2wks in May and had a fabulous time. The condo made all the difference in the world to our trip, it was minutes to the beach and we walked everywhere. We have stayed in Maui before but this was by far the best location and condo we have rented. It is affordable and had everything we would have wanted & that allowed us to just bring carry-on luggage since the condo was so well stocked with beach towels, chairs, etc. Considering it is back behind some bars and restaurants we were never aware of them, it is very quiet with a lovely secluded lanai. The only thing it didn't have that I meant to purchase & donate was a collapsible wagon to be able to carry all your stuff to the beach, but time got away and I forgot.
So if you are looking for a condo to rent I would highly recommend this unit ( I have already raved to all my friends & family and I'm sure they will be looking to rent it in the future)
We will be coming back for sure, but next time it will be 3wks. :)
