My friend and I were looking for a relaxing getaway to read, explore, and rejuvenate. Everything we wanted was within a mile radius! So much culture from Venezuelan restaurants to countless food trucks. The amenities are perfect and the people were very nice. Super safe walkable area too. Only plus’s to this place. 11/10 recommend! Will certainly be back.

My husband and I have never been to Hawaii before and received recommendations of Maui from several friends, along with staying at the Papakea resort. We did quite a bit of searching online and found Lisa's condo to be perfect for our needs - and it was! Lisa was wonderful with communicating with us when needed, which wasn't often, and E108 did not disappoint! If we have the chance to return in the near future we hope we can stay here again!

We had a great time staying at E108. The place was clean, comfortable, fully stocked with essentials and beach gear. The location was great too. Its a few mins walk to the beach, food trucks and stores. We loved watching the sunset on resort lounge chairs. Lisa was a delight, it was easy to communicate with her. We hope to come back again!

Lisa's condo exceeded our expectations. Great quality items, everything from towels to cookware. We were so comfortable here. The property is so lovely and close to essentials. Lisa was wonderful to deal with and responded quickly to questions. A truly wonderful experience.

There were big dead cockroaches on the ground next to the bed and in the kitchen. Seems like a spray or cockroach bait used but roaches not cleaned up. The screen door didn’t want to lock, the ac takes a while to get cold and there were wine glass cups with juice or wine stains still inside. Why pay a cleaning fee? Other than these issues, the check in was easy.

I cannot express how much I loved staying at Papakea Resort with such wonderful hosts. Lisa went out of her way to contact me with readiness of the unit. The resort makes everything super easy to check in and get help. What a beautiful place. Perfectly decorated and stocked. Super clean and very homey yet romantic. I can't wait to stay again!

We're a family of four, with 2 teens. Everything was clean, comfortable and worked great. The supplies for the beach (umbrella, chairs, snorkel gear and more) made everything perfect. The resort grounds are immaculate. The boys slept on the sofa bed which was comfortable, and easy to pull out and retract. The only minor downside is that you can't walk between the bed and the sofa when pulled-out. Despite this I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Grocery store is in walking distance. Whales breaching were visble while sitting on the lounge chairs along the sea wall on the property. Ample parking. Staff is super polite. Lisa, the owner, was quick to respond and helpful with requests. 5 stars!

We loved everything about our stay! We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the early morning and evening watching the sun come up and the sun go down. The grounds are perfectly maintained, the pool and spa are great, the store is right across the street and the unit had everything we needed. We used the umbrella, chairs, and snorkels provided in the unit which was wonderful to have. We were hesitant to book a studio but the space was actually perfect for us and didn't feel too small especially because it's ground level. We will absolutely book again.

We had a very nice time at the papakea resort. They had everything we needed. The highlight was watching all the whales and the sunsets from the resort. Our room was on the bottom floor, so there was no ocean view, but you could walk a short path to see it all. They also had everything we needed for a beach day, which was Great! The Grills next to the pool really cane in handy. .
The only negative was that the table on the porch was very small and only had 2 chairs. It was hard to sit comfortable for eating with three adults.
We would definitely stay at this property again.

We have stayed at Papakea for 20 years now, and this is one of the best condos we have rented. Set up perfectly for comfort, well stocked kitchen, beach needs, linens, towels, pillows. Lovely updated look. Communicating with Lisa was immediate and enjoyable. Short walks to sandy beach, convenience store, grocery store, food trucks, L&L BBQ!

This was exactly what we needed. It was very clean. The beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel, cooler, and beach towels came in very handy. It's within walking distance to a real grocery store, restaurants, and food trucks. There's a huge hot tub that always had plenty of room. There are nice views of the sunset, although not from the room, since it has a courtyard view. Check-in was easy. It's not too far from the parking. I'd stay here again.

The room was adorable and exactly as listed. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The location was nicely situated and had pretty much anything you would need close by. Food truck park was so yummy! Lisa was super helpful with recommendations as was the Papakea concierge. Wish we could've stayed longer. My husband and I would love to come back soon and bring the family!

We absolutely LOVED our time at this condo and would highly recommend this location and this unit in particular! The owner, Lisa, was always communicative and was a dream to work with. The beach access is incredible and most days we had most of the beach to ourselves. You've got a front row seat to gorgeous sunsets which are always spectacular. We are counting down the days until we can go back!

My best friend and I very much enjoyed our stay. On previous trips to Maui, I had always stayed in Kaanapali so it was a bit different. The location was windy and misty, but we found that enjoyable since the weather was hot and humid.
It was nice that beach chairs were provided for when we wanted to walk the short distance to the beach.
Grocery store and ABC stores and a handful of restaurants within walking distance. The bus stop is super close and we used it to go to front street Lahaina and to the whaler. Very convenient!
The grounds are beautiful and although there was a lot of activity during the days, it ended at 10 pm and the evenings were very quiet.

There was all the amenities you need and walking distance to a grocery store if you need anything else. Beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler provided. We had friends staying at a hotel 3 min away and had zero amenities. They could rent the things we had complimentary. Full kitchen and washer and dryer. Very cute clean place and the owners reached out with information that was so helpful in Hawaii and so kind and wonderful we hope to stay there again.

I always refer to reviews when booking a place so this is my “need to know” honest review.
Overall, this place was pretty great! Location was awesome, place was super clean, and Lisa was super sweet and helpful. Our first morning there the coffee machine didn’t work and Lisa was quick to respond and solve the issue. The condo is also packed with literally everything you would ever need! (Chairs, boogie board, beach towels). The washer and dryer definitely came in handy too! Plus right outside is a cute putting green and the pool area is awesome. The resort itself is gorgeous and perfectly located. Some things to know about this place: The A.C is not great. It works ok, but there were days where we definitely wished it blew a little cooler. (Although we’ve been told that A.C is a luxury on the island so at least we had something!) Also, the beach is definitely not a snorkeling/swimming beach. It’s still right next to the water and the views are amazing! Just know that you’ll have to walk or drive a bit to get to a place where you can swim or snorkel. Overall our experience was great and we would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

The room faces the yard with a fountain which is extremely noisy at night. The AC is also too noisy, so I could barely sleep. The welcome breakfast was very poor, but it’s on the hotel, not the owner.
The owner put all you need for the beach: towels, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, etc., which was very convenient.
