This condo is in the best location in our opinion, ocean views and next to the pool. We bbq’d at the pool area a few nights and it was perfect. The condo is cozy and we really enjoyed the extra amenities- beach toys, chairs, umbrella and cooler. We didn’t have AC when we visited but we used the extra fans they provided and it was alright. Only issue is the sliding door doesn’t fit in the pin so you can’t leave it cracked at all. There were a few things missing upon arrival like trash bags but we purchased them and were promptly reimbursed. Would stay again in the future!

The property was conveniently on the first floor. You walk out the sliding glass door into a local park that runs from your door to the beach. With a walk of 100 yards, I watched every sunset on the beach. You're right next to the pool for a swim. The pool closes at 9 pm and they clear the people out so it's pretty quiet after that. The instructions left by the owner had a few errors but nothing serious. The sliding door lock for keeping the door cracked does not work. It was apparently replaced and the new one does not rotate into the hoe in the door frame. You are either open and in the room or locked and closed with no air flow. The windows in the bedroom have shutters that are not really meant to be moved so you have no air flow through that room either. The TV in the bedroom comes on but it fails to connect properly with the cable box it was stuck in a loop where it claimed to be initiating.. It would have been nice but I didn't really go to Maui to watch TV. The name of the wifi didn't match what it said in the book but it was a close enough variant that I sorted it right out. The place has an air conditioner but no controllers were left so you cannot cool off your bedroom. It was winter so it was a lot warmer than home but not hot. I would have needed that air conditioner to sleep in the summer. The owner has conveniently located upright fans around the condo and they were what we needed to get by. Everything was clean when we arrived. It was nice to have the laundry in the condo for beach towels. Traffic in Kehei can be quite bad so being on the north end of town was good for seeing the rest of the island. You save a good half hour in getting out of town compared to Wailea. Plenty of opportunities for food within a mile of the place and that includes the Safeway to buy groceries. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Stella's unit is in a great location on the property and an easily accessible location in Kihei. We had everything we needed to enjoy multiple beach outings and appreciated that the unit was on the lower level. We hope to return to this property again

Our stay at Stella’s condo was above and beyond our expectations. The condo is perfectly located right across from the beach and within eyeshot of the pool which was perfect for us with our son. The unit is beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all kinds of pots, pans, dishes, cutlery and serving utensils and everything is very clean and tidy. The unit also comes with a variety of items for the beach and the lanai was perfect for morning coffees and watching the sunset. Stella was lovely to communicate with and we truly enjoyed our relaxing vacation in Kihei.

Location is perfect. Corner unit overlooking beautiful lawn with short walk to the beach. The unit had not been cleaned when we checked in. Had to call the owner. Turned out the cleaning service lost some staff and was running behind — a post pandemic problem we have all experienced. The owner offered us a couple of drinks and appetizers at a nearby bar while we waited for the cleaning service to get done.

We stayed for a week in this unit and we loved it. We are a family with 2 kids (4 and 1 year old) and we enjoyed a lot having breakfast and dinner viewing the sea… the views are amazing and they could play in the ground!! The location of the unit is perfect for enjoying the island. Lot of things to do. The resort is great (bbq, pool…). We think that the unit has the best location in the resort. The unit was very clean. It has all the amenities to stay for a week (kitchen utensils etc) and also to enjoy the beach (towels, chairs, beach toys etc). We hadn’t any issues with ants etc so the pest control worked great. The a/c also was perfect. We did not need an a/c, it was great with the fans and breeze. We were so happy in this unit. It has been a wonderful holidays. We highly recommend this unit. Thanks Stella and team.

If this place is available for your stay in Maui, just book it, it’s a no-brainer! We are a family of four who stayed there for almost a week and it was ideal to explore all the amazing beaches in South Maui. It was also perfect for short trips to Haleakalā volcano, the lava fields, Paia and the Road to Hana. You’ll be right next to the pool (quiet hours will start at 9 p.m. so if you have toddlers who sleeps early, you might want to have a white noise of some sorts for them to fall asleep) and a direct access to a beach right in front of you. If ever we are lucky enough to go back to Maui, we’ll book again for sure!

Took my son for his grad celebrations and we had a blast! Nice bottom/corner level condo, with quick access to the pool and bbq's. Beach is right out the lanai with only grass under your toes until you get to sand. Not very crowded beach area took which was nice. Everything was well stocked with what you'd need in the condo, kitchen and beach stuff, etc. The only thing we would have liked was A/C, but there was ceiling fans and floor fans too. Overall, an awesome spot!

This place is awesome! Perfect location and gorgeous property. Beach access just past the nice grassy area. This place had beach towels, lawn chairs, umbrella, cooler, and even some snorkeling gear. It was right near pool and bbq grill which was so convenient. Will definitely come back and stay here. You’ll love it

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was just very nice and close to he beach for a morning or evening stroll. The sunsets were fantastic. Well stocked with essentials for cooking. The unit has a new refrigerator and dishwasher. The bed was very comfortable.

The location of the unit was great - ground floor that opens up to a beautiful open grassy area and then the beach beyond. It was also next to the pool. These were things I appreciated for my toddler, but if you’re looking for something more private, it may not be for you. One of the main walkways out to the beach goes right by the unit so people are walking by regularly. The beach was nice, but had lots of rocks. We enjoyed walking out and along it, but didn’t swim there. The condo itself was amazingly well stocked with lots of little extras that my family appreciated, including beach toys and everything we needed to prepare a meal. Stella was prompt at responding and keeping me updated on things. I would definitely stay again!

My kids and I visited this property for one week to celebrate my birthday. The location was amazing - close to the pool area. I watched the sunset from the lanai every night and it was magical! There were boogie boards and a cooler and beach chairs and umbrellas. The kitchen was well stocked. The ants are just the reality of a tropical place and I just needed to keep all food away and the counters clean. Thank you so much! We had a wonderful vacation!

We really really liked this property. It looks directly out at the ocean, a 2 minute walk away. Enjoyed walking along this beach every morning. Was fairly close to all the popular swimming and snorkeling beaches. Many close by restaurants. We were very comfortable at this condo. Loved the great shower, good washer and dryer, nice kitchen with all we needed. Would definitely stay here again if and when we return to Maui.

The unit was nice. We didn’t want for a thing. Updated bathroom and Kitchen. The unit is right by the shuffle board and the pool. You are looking out at the pickle ball courts and they start at 6:30am.

My son and I really enjoyed our stay here. We only stayed two days because of previous arrangements but we both wish we stayed here longer. The ground floor was wonderful! Sitting outside in the morning was so peaceful. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The shower was like a spa! Definitely a great place to stay for a couple, or small family. I was worried about spiders because of previous reviews and the ones I saw were the small long legged spiders we call them daddy long legs in Washington. Not scary at all! This is a great place and my son and I want to come back for a longer stay!

My family and I had a great time at this unit. It’s very confidently close to the pool and beach. The kids preferred the pool and I needed the code so I was able to get it from the office right away. Parking was easy and reliable. Although it was hot in Kihei the unit was very comfortable.

The condo was great and easy to find. It's in a great location, not too far from shops and restaurants (having a car is strongly suggested). The fans in the unit helped with the heat and humidity. The unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's just adjacent to the pool and grills. The wifi is a bit slow so don't expect too much. Wonderful communication, Stella is prompt in replying to any inquiries. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

This condo was perfect for my young grandchildren, my daughter and myself. A well-equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom and shower, and washer-dryer made for a very comfortable vacation. This is our second visit to this resort. Nice little condo, very clean, it has everything we need . I also like the location , very quite small resort, not overcrowded, kids can play in the pool or can have other activities on the huge loan. Everything is very clean and well maintened.

We stayed 11 nights at Stella's place.
What we liked:
- The kitchen and bathroom are nicely remodeled! The photos in the listing don't do justice to the kitchen.
- Kitchen is well equipped.
- We appreciated the provided beach accessories.
- The condo is in the Luana Kai complex with a nice pool and grills. Parking was easy.
- Great ocean views, located adjust to a beachfront park, with tennis courts and pickleball courts.
- Spectacular sunsets.
- Beach is nice for strolls and seeing turtles at night (walk south).
- Given its ground floor, we enjoyed the easy access to facilities and did not feel that privacy was an issue.
What could have been better:
- We encountered many spiders and small cockroaches in the condo. It was, in particular, disgusting to find a spider in the toaster.
- We had a terrible experience with ants. There is a very determined ant colony infiltrating the kitchen. No matter how much we cleaned and sprayed, ants would back the next morning. The ants would go for anything, including oil residue on cleaned pans and pots, scraps in the kitchen drain and crumbs in the toaster. They forced us to place all unsealed foods in the refrigerator including bread and cereals. When I reached out to Stella with this problem, she offered me to reimburse me for any ant traps I buy. The place already had ant traps placed prior to our arrival which didn't help and it was not the activity guests should do during their vacation.
- The Wi-Fi signal is weak and does not adequately reach the bedroom. (should be easily fixable with a new router)
- The beach is mixed stones and sand. It is not very swimmable and probably not the beach you come for to Maui.
- Luana Kai, did not heat the pool every day. The hot tub was closed because of covid19.
Overall, I would have given the place 5 stars, if it was not for the pest issue. I recommend hiring a professional to take care of this.

Walking out from the patio to the ocean, pool etc was great! The unit is a bit tried i.e. needs paint shower door cleaner, the king sized bed is o Ed of the reasons we picked it however needs a thick mattress pad and the sheets were like sandpaper but I found other sheets and changed them out. It doesn’t take much to make sure that it is a nicer experience. New white comforter, sheets & pad. Ran out of toilet paper, soap, and garbage bags. All in all score of B- to C+

This was a beautiful spot with great views of sunset. The one negative is we showers up and although it looked like the place had been tidied up, it was dirty. Lots of cobwebs and spiders. This could’ve been because there weren’t recent renters before our stay but showing up and having to clean ourselves before settling in was not what we had planned.

Overall we had a great stay. The property was a great location with a variety of options on site. I was worried about noise levels considering it’s proximity to the public space and pools - non issue. We were able to make our meals with the supplies in the kitchen and use the cooler for our outings.
The property would benefit from a deep clean and some upgrades to the appliances. The walls, furniture and lights were dusty. We had an issue with sand in the washer/dryer upon arrival. Later the fridge was leaking and ruined some of our food. The fold out bed in the living room left a lot to be desired, but the kids didn’t mind. The property manager was quick to respond and offer suggestions as they came up.
We left behind sand toys, a boogie board, and kitchen utensils that the space did not provide.
All that to say, we had a great time and hope to visit again.

We wanted a ground floor unit, and this was convenient. The location is nice, right next to the pool. It was very hot and humid in August and the lack of A/C at times was rough (although they have several cooling fans). The condo is in a great location, short walk to the beach and beautiful sunset views. The newer bathroom is nice, although, as a whole the condo was dirty. It definitely could use a deep cleaning and some updating, new appliances in kitchen, etc. It was nice to have washer/dryer, beach chairs, etc. We had a great vacation and the Luana Kai resort is great, we loved the Tiki torches at night and grilling and eating by the pool. As far as location in Kihei, you are close to a lot and 20 min from the airport.

We chose to stay in Kihei because of it's central location. Condo is right next to the ocean so you can enjoy the beach whenever you want. There is also a community pool and a jacuzzi right next to the unit. Area was quiet and peaceful during our stay. Plenty of parking spots on the property. Unit is a bit outdated, yet it had everything we needed and than some.

Stella's unit was wonderful, it truly has everything you could possibly need. Its beautifully updated and the beds are very comfortable. Luana Kai is at the quieter end of Kihei but still within walking distance from downtown and shopping. The beach is a 2 minute walk across the lawn, everyone goes to watch the gorgeous sunsets. There are better swimming beaches around but if you wear water shoes, its perfect out front.
Nothing to do with the property but a friendly warning... do not rent a car from Cars for Less, there are extra hidden charges and owner is rude. A friend was there at the same time and rented from Kihei Rentacar and had all good things to say about them.
