What a special trip! Lori and Adam were wonderful! My husband and I have been staying at the Hololani property for over 10 years. This was our first time staying in this beautiful condo and we are so glad we did. Also our first time bringing our 3 kids along and this place was perfect for all of us. Lori has this place stocked with everything you could possibly think of. Not to mention the storage in the garage with every water gear/toy you can imagine for pool and beach days. Everything is so well kept up. Adam was very welcoming and helpful when we needed assistance and he even called the day we left to thank us and make sure we had a great stay. Mahalo to Lori for allowing us to share our favorite place with our kiddos over the holidays! We can’t wait to come back soon!

To begin the condo is right on the water so that is nice. Bring binoculars if you want to whale watch. You can see them but they are way out there.One thing that seemed oddly missing is that the unit has no air conditioning which seems odd but may not be for Hawaii. There are ample fans but it would have been nice to know that there was no AC. It was hot in the primary bedroom but you could get a nice breeze going if you left the front screen door open as well as the back screen door.Another thing that was oddly missing was the fact that this complex was on a shared water system--much like a hotel I guess yet I have never run out of hot water in a hotel. We came up from the beach one day at 3 pm and--you guessed it--no hot water. My husband had to shave with cold water a couple of times. This is personally a deal breaker for me.There are also ants. I was advised by Joseph that that is normal for Hawaii but again it would have been nice to know ahead of time. He indicated that he communicated this but I couldn't find any arrival or departure instructions and I've been using VRBO for a while now. He also wasn't always quick to respond with instructions when asked either.The entire place could benefit from new paint. It's not bad just needs a refresh. I have rentals as well and get the desire to maximize intake and minimize output but after a while you have to bite the bullet.The very best thing about our entire stay was the back porch. To start things I would like to state how clean the room was upon arrival for being a ground floor beach side unit. There is little to no noise from other guests as it is a lower key resort, but that made relaxing so much better to us at least. There’s also no immediate beach in front of the complex but there is one easily within walking distance of the room. And this appears to be the last resort in the line. Because of this the view from the patio was far better than any other we saw nearby due to little to no foot traffic.In short: very clean, quiet and private, well stocked kitchen, garage parking so the jeep top can stay down, great ocean views from every window.

The beds were very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the lanai every morning and evening, listening to the waves crash, and we saw tons of turtles from up there, and even a couple sharks. The kitchen setup was great, with all the appliances and gadgets we needed available. The laundry room had a very pervasive smell that permeated the master bedroom, but otherwise it was great. I would recommend this place to all my friends, and we plan on coming back soon!

We had a wonderful stay. We loved the balcony the best where we spent many happy hours watching turtles and boats and surfers and beautiful sunsets. We had everything we needed and the hosts were very responsive to a small issue. Kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked many meals. It was great to have beach chairs provided so that we could go to parks to enjoy the ocean front. Although there was no air conditioning we were comfortable with many fans provided and enjoyed having the patio doors open to the breeze and being able to listen to the waves. We would stay again.

Everything was exactly as described in the listing. There was not one day we didn’t come back to the condo and were not astonished by the view. Melissa was so helpful and quick to respond. There was an issue with the toilet and she had someone out within the hour. We also forgot a few essentials and she was quick to put me in touch with her cleaner so I was able to get those items returned quickly as well.

We truly loved this condo and the area. It was amazingly relaxing. It is my fault because I didn't notice in the description. There is no Air Condtioning and it was pretty hot in the room even with the fans. We purchased extra fans to try and help but it didn't help much. That would be our only complaint. The whole facility was great. It was clean, ocean front and easy to access. There were plenty of amenities and the kitchen was properly stocked with any utensils you could need. Property is as listed. Great view! We got lucky to see some sea turtles. Kitchen has everything that you would need to even grill or bake. There were six of us and we were able to find space to rest well. Definitely recommend if you don’t mind having no AC, which is no problem unless you’re a very hot natured person.

Beautiful property, decorated nicely, and very clean. They have thought of every amenity you could want, a fully stocked kitchen and were even thoughtful enough to leave some laundry pods, which was a nice touch. We loved the views on the balcony, the pool was well-maintained, water very warm and pleasant. It appears to be a mix of tenants, some live year round and some tourists just renting for a few weeks. Quiet location where you can walk to a few restaurants and things, so we liked that. The lady below us kept giving us a hard time about being noisy and "stomping around" even though we went to bed early due to jet lag and generally are very quiet people. I had to write the owner and she was very responsive, called me right away, apologetic and perhaps she said something because that lady did not bother us again. Other than the weird lady below, the place was perfect. Be aware there is no AC, so windows are always open, but there's a great breeze. We had a great stay and miss it already.
