I can’t say enough great things about the condo we stayed in at Ali‘i Villas. The check-in process was smooth and easy, the condo was spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable. They truly had everything you could need, including plenty of beach gear.The star of the show was easily the lanai. You simply cannot get a better ocean view. The large lanai had multiple seating options, including four lounge chairs plus a table with additional seating. The ocean views were absolutely stunning and made it hard to leave.The hosts were very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had during our stay. You can also walk to shops and restaurants. It’s about a mile along a fairly busy road, but definitely doable.The pool was very clean, well maintained, and the perfect temperature. The BBQ areas were also spotless and in great condition.This is a no-AC unit, but we honestly didn’t need it. The trade winds kept things cool at night, and there were ceiling fans along with additional fans available if needed.Don’t hesitate on this place — just book it. You won’t regret it.

It was better than expected. It's a little too far away from shops and restaurants to walk but the tradeoff is the quiet atmosphere. The kitchen was well equipped. The air conditioning was quiet and cooled the place down fine for sleep. We both really liked the place and hope to come back one day.

The condo area was quiet, and we had a specific parking spot. The kitchen was well equipped but could use some new knifes. The pool was very nice with lots of places to sit and it had some tables with umbrellas. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty bath towels as well as beach towels. We would stay here again.

The condo was comfortable and well equipped. We loved the view from the lanai and the living space out there. My daughter liked the big pool. We used the beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels when we drove down to various beaches. We did use the ceiling fans and kept the front door open at night to allow the breeze to flow through. The Big Island tour books under the TV were helpful for reading about places we wanted to visit. Sometimes the WiFi would loose Internet connectivity if we were playing Pandora and using our phones and laptops simultaneously. I’m not sure if this was a cause as the WiFi signal was strong. It could have been the Internet Service Provider. Anyways the Internet connection would eventually come back. All in all, we were very happy with the condo and the way it was setup.

We loved our stay here. It was in a great location. The home was clean. The washer and dryer were very convenient. The host was very communicative. The bed was really soft. And the best part was sleeping with the window open and hearing the ocean. I would definitely book here again.

We would not stay here again. The unit next to this one is actively undergoing major construction. We were unable to be in the unit from 10am-4pm Mon-Thurs due to the noise and construction dust. This was not minor work- they were literally using a jackhammer to remove tile and cement. When we asked the construction crew, they said they were “almost done” every day. So we dealt with it, thinking they would be done soon, as we didn’t want to find a new place mid-trip.The neighbors told us the owners know about the renovation. However, we were not informed before booking. We would never have picked the unit if we knew. The days/times without construction was fine. The complex is nice as is the pool. The unit itself is dated (as expected from the photos) but has a nice lanai and great view. It gets hot and the fans are not sufficient, and simple things like shampoo are not provided. He did let us checkout late which was very helpful.The owner reached out by calling us and physically mailed the checkin instructions, instead of using the app which was awkward.

Beautiful Sunset view from the lanai! Communication with host was amazing and very responsive. Helped make arrangements for our arrival. Condo was very clean and stocked with absolutely anything you would ever need. Joel was great! Met him the first day super helpful and gave us some recommendations on where to eat! Great location and close to downtown Kona. Saw dophins swim by every morning paired perfectly with a cup of coffee! Quiet complex. Pool was perfect for a quick dip after a long day. It does have alot of rules if you have young kids who like to play, splash, use floaties or older kids who like to play Marco polo or throw a ball probably not the pool for you. Wonderful stay for our family!

This place was wonderful. Listening to the waves was very peaceful. It was quiet and relaxing. Was able to do practice my yoga on the balcony. It was clean and well maintained. Had all your kitchen basics. My only issue was that the stove needed an update and living room cushions could use some sprucing up. Overall, a fantastic stay.

I loved this little condo! The view from the deck is perfect. The pool lit up at night is gorgeous. We could hear and see the waves crashing on and the plant and flower life around the property are really beautiful and well kept. The pool is saltwater and also clean and well kept. If you plan to cook a lot of meals you will be set with any pan and utensil you could need. It was a nice walk into town. We traveled to Kona for a wedding and had family members staying at different complexes in the area. Ours was by far the best!communication with the owner was easy and she is very responsive. Thanks for the great stay!

The condo was small but clean and very well equipped for cooking with a few items already in the fridge, and some stationary in a drawer! Handy when you need tape. It was comfortable and the balcony was especially nice, enabling us to eat outside and you could see the ocean on a clear day. The pool was very pleasant too. Sometimes there was noise waking us up from passers by right outside the bedroom and cars and bikes starting their engines, but it was a good location and met all of our needs.

This property is excellent! Very good communication with the host and very clear instructions regarding the common areas of the property and the unit itself. Great View! The bed was comfortable. Remember no Air conditioning. That was not a problem for us. This property is very well maintained, and the other guests/and residents were very nice to visit with. We would highly recommend this property. Very nice small coffee/breakfast sandwich shop about 50 yards toward town.

Several things we appreciated about our stay at the Ali condos. The condo was clean and as pictured so there were no surprises. Quiet hours from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM which means there were no loud parties. Very nice pool. Near everything we wanted to do. Clear communication with the host and they checked with us midweek to ask if everything was OK. Yes, I would stay here again and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Great location! Minor items that should be addressed are more zip lock and kitchen garbage bags in order to get rid of food waste and garbage on a daily basis (required in this climate to keep pests away). Other than that, it was all good. Would stay at this unit in the future.

My significant other and I stayed in this condo for nine days in February 2026. We very much enjoyed our stay. Yan, the owner, was good about communicating with me and promptly responded to my questions. The condo is conveniently located. Upon check-in, we found the condo to be clean and adequately stocked with things like towels, kitchen supplies, and cleaning supplies. We appreciated thee two beach chairs and beach towels. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the partial ocean view from the lanai. The washer and dryer worked great. The condo was pretty quiet; we enjoyed listening to the ocean and the birds. The grounds were well maintained. We didn’t use the swimming pool, but it looked nice. We never used the AC because the ceiling fans kept the condo cool enough for us. We would consider staying at this condo again.

The cleanest, most well stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in. The location was great, and sunsets from Ali’I Villas is wonderful. The only down side is the lanai sitting right over the pool of the neighboring property. When there are kids in the pool it’s loud all day and into the evening.

What a wonderful spot. We enjoyed every day. The condo has nice furniture and great kitchen items. One thing to check on is the shower curtain. There is a bump in the rod making closing and opening difficult. We brought our own binoculars, but the ones there really did not work right. Minor issues! We loved our stay. Many thanks.

Apartment was clean and had all items needed (even beach chairs and coolers) for a weeklong stay. The hosts ensured everything was as needed and checked in to during our stay which was much appreciated. Even though we were near front of complex, we walked to the back to see some of the best sunsets. Parking was very easy.
