This gorgeous condo was such a treat! The view is amazing, the beds are super comfy, the kitchen has pretty much everything anyone would ever need, and there are even boogie boards! We loved sitting on the lanai every morning, walking to the beach, swimming, and playing pickle ball. We even saw a sea turtle while swimming one day! The lovely coffee and chocolate welcome gift was a nice touch. We hope to be back soon!

Everything about this condo was five stars! The view is absolutely unbelievable… It looks like a painting. Great water pressure in the showers, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, spacious, and well stocked with everything you need for a winderful vacation. Beth was great to deal with and very responsive to any questions or messages I had. I highly recommend this wonderful condo.

What a magical place. Our family of five made this home for the week. Mystical view, first class accommodations, plenty of space, all the amenities you need in a safe/convenient location. Lots of perks come with this option. All the beach amenities you need for a private beach with walk off the beach access to sensational snorkeling. It was our home base to all the great day trip options on the island. We appreciate the great communication too. We will be back for sure.

This condominium is exactly as depicted in the listing and offers the best of everything in Maui. You are steps away from the beach, pool, and the restaurants and shops in Wailea. The furnishings are upgraded and there is plenty of space for a family to spread out vs. a cramped hotel room. The wrap around lanai is perfect for morning coffee and sunset cocktails, offering a breathtaking ocean view where you can listen to the ocean waves. The unit is stocked with anything and everything you could want or need during your stay, including everything for beach days! We appreciated the gift of Hawaiian coffee and chocolates upon check-in. The owner is extremely responsive and promptly responded to any questions and concerns we had. We recommend this beautiful property!

I simply can’t say enough about our stay!! The views were breathtaking, the condo is beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed, and we were just a few steps from some of the most beautiful beaches in Maui!
Our host, Beth, was amazing! She had everything ready for us when we arrived and went the extra mile to make sure our daughter got her favorite stuffed animal back home as she left it to stay in Maui for a little bit longer!
We also appreciated the thoughtfulness in making sure we had all items needed for the beach including chairs, towels, an umbrella, and even a boogie board!
We loved it so much we’ve already booked another stay! We can’t wait to come back!!

We loved our stay in this unit. We've stayed in several other Makena Surf properties and this was a favorite. The corner unit had an expanse of windows that made it seem you were outside all of the time. We would be visiting with each other, and someone would note whales in the distance and we'd stop and observe them quite often. If we had a question Elizabeth returned our call very promptly. We couldn't have been more pleased.

We had a wonderful stay at Makena Surf. The view from the lanai is fabulous, and we loved hearing the sound of the waves while enjoying morning coffee or reading a book out there. One of our favorite parts of our stay there, funny enough, was getting to play pickleball with other residents on one of the tennis courts that had pickleball court lines added. Pickleball paddles and balls were provided in the unit.
A nice touch was that the host, knowing one of ours sons would be staying on the pull-out sofa, had the bed made up and privacy screens placed around the sofa area before our arrival.
It was everything we hoped for in a vacation to warm up and relax, with the beach just a stroll away and all the beach amenities (chairs, umbrellas, towels) to enjoy. It's a beautiful and quiet complex. Beth is very easy to work with and accommodating. This was our second stay and we plan to come back again!

Stayed for 10 wonderful days in this beautiful corner condo, lanais all around and set in tropical garden with many plants including orchids.
The turtles swam by the rocks. The sound of the ocean gives you peace.

We just returned from a wonderful two-week stay at this Makena condo - and only wished we were able to stay for two more weeks. For two couples, the condo was perfect. Two large bedrooms - both with access to a large outside deck - and two nicely appointed bathrooms gave each couple plenty of space. The furnishings are comfortable - and fit nicely with the decor. The large outdoor main deck is where we spent most of the day. Coffee in the morning, afternoon whale watching and evening dinner and drinks were all perfect on the deck. The amenities at Makena Surf are also well kept and never crowded. We highly recommend this condo and hope to be back again.

Loved our stay in this beautiful condo at the Makena Surf. We were looking for a place away from the crowds of the big resorts and large condo developments and this was just what we had hoped it would be. We enjoyed evening cocktails and dinner on the lanai and morning coffee watching the sun hit the ocean.
The unit was stocked with absolutely everything we could have ever possibly needed. It was great to have a grill right there at the unit. We used it almost every night.
The beach was lovely. Great to chill for the day and incredible place to watch the sunset. We never made it to the pool because the beach was so perfect, no pool time was needed!
All and all, this was the perfect place to getaway. A wonderful location to celebrate a special 50th birthday occasion. Where some people say they turn 39 every year, I’ll take 50 if it means going back year after year to the Makena Surf!!

We spent the week of Thanksgiving at this beautiful property with incredible views with our family. The condo itself had everything we needed including chairs and towels for the beach. This Condo is just down the road from all the 5 star hotels and hands down I would choose to stay here every time. The view is spectacular from the large wrap around deck. The condo is well stocked with everything you need. Beds are comfortable ,even the pull out bed! Beth was great to work with throughout the whole process. Highly recommend this Condo for a relaxing and refreshing get away!

We love staying at Makena Surf and C-201 is our favorite unit yet. Love the furnishings/decor and the cleanliness. This larger unit allows for extra amenities such as bathtub, walk-in closet, and wraparound lanai. Beth generously accommodated my request for a juicer so we could continue with our daily juices at our home away from home. We can’t wait to return to C-201!

Beautiful condo in the perfect location !! The pictures posted do not do it justice. The first time you walk in, and walk towards the bank of windows, you’ll see why the pictures do not do it justice.
A short walk to the beach, however the better swimming beach is just past the lava rocks. It was the ideal place to unwind, enjoy your morning coffee and view and start your day.
If we get back to Maui, we will definitely be staying here again.

We had an incredible stay in this property. The owner is responsive and helpful. Beth has the property setup so you can literally arrive and enjoy - she has thought of everything you need. The property is very large/spacious and the lanai is huge. Every day we spent breakfast and several other times of day on the lanai enjoying the beautiful view. Our teens loved it here and so did our 9 year old. There are several restaurants within an easy drive and the grocery is about 15 minutes away. We will absolutely stay here again if we can return. Fantastic experience.

This was our 15th stay in Maui and our first staying at the Makena Surf complex. This condo was PERFECT for our needs. We wanted a place to have easy access to one of our favorite beaches in all of Maui. Even with the growing number of visitors over the years, this beach continues to feel like a private place and has 1/4 mile of beach just steps from the door. The views from the patio will forever be etched in my memory. We stayed with our 3 kids (14, 10 and 6). The space was ideal. Beth had the pull out sofa in the extra den all set up for my third kid with privacy screens and it basically worked out as a 3rd bedroom for her.
The beds were all comfortable and the amenities were great. All the beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, cooler were there for us. The kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs as well. In terms of Makena Surf overall...I think the pools were great. They may be bit dated compared to some of the other high end condo complexes (but I think I read somewhere that Makena Surf is upgrading the grounds this year and next). My kids LOVED the tennis and pickle ball courts for a change of pace from the pool and beach. We would not hesitate coming back to this unit and know we won't attempt any other location on Maui!

This was a fantastic spot to spend our week in Maui. The condo is extremely spacious for a 2 br and felt even nicer than what we saw in pictures. We could walk to beach/pool in under 2 minutes, which was exactly what we were looking for with our 2 year old. Location was great, you're a short 5 minute drive (or longer 2 mile walk) from the Shops at Wailea and the main strip of luxury Wailea hotels. Host was incredibly responsive both in the lead up and during the actual stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great accommodations, the place had everything we needed. The location is right next to a beach with great sand and snorkeling. We were able to see whales from the balcony. I wish I brought my binoculars. We would stay here again.

As discerning (read: picky!) travelers, we were overwhelmed by this stunning property, level of service and communication from Beth, the amenities, view and location. The town of Kihei is relaxing and laid-back. The beach, literally steps from the condo, was peaceful and uncrowded and visually even more beautiful than the photos depict. Every aspect of this condo was well thought out for a guest - the decor, beach towels, beach chairs/umbrellas/boogie boards. The kitchen had every imaginable amenity and necessity you could need…down to a “junk drawer” full of extra supplies that came in handy. Our stay at Beth‘s condo was one we will never forget and should we be back in the town of Kihei, our first call would be to Beth at Makena Surf. Well worth every cent and a memorable experience for our 20th anniversary celebration.

My husband and I stayed for 12 days in January 2022. The condo is just as pictured, with views of the ocean that are amazing! The decor is beautiful, and you immediately feel at home in the gracious surroundings. There is a huge lanai with a dining table, a cafe table and lounge chairs. There is also a back lanai off of the bedrooms with more lounge chairs. A quick walk down a concrete path gets you directly to the beach, and the unit comes with chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and other water toys. The pool area with jacuzzi is wonderful as well. The owner is wonderful to work with and is extremely prompt in communications. Book this unit -- you will not regret it! Paradise on earth!

We loved Makena Surf Beach! Perfect for snorkeling and swimming with plenty of white sand & never crowded during our stay. Also slightly below the Waliea resorts, so nice to be out of hotel central but close enough to jog or drive up there for food/shopping/beaches.
The condo was perfect for our family of 4. It was well stocked for kitchen items and had all the beach chairs, towels & umbrellas we needed. Even a few boogie boards. Both bathrooms had plentiful shampoo & shower gel. Everything was clean and furnished nicely. There are 4 nicely maintained tennis courts, a small gym, two pools & hot tubs and we used them all! Condo does have tennis racquets if you don't want to bring your own.
Best of all was the amazing terrace and views. Spectacular sunsets every night. We ate outside the whole week.
Absolutely loved this place. Beth was great and we would definitely return!! Thanks for a wonderful week. It was too short.

Our family of 5 had a phenomenal time at this condo. The common areas, living, dining and kitchen, were beautifully designed. The bathrooms were luxurious. The balcony was spacious and had beautiful sunset views every evening. It was also so simple to ran down to the beach 5 minutes before sunset for a up close viewing and stroll in the soft sand. The condo came with every sporting equipment one desired. We had an awesome time!
The only improvement I would suggest is improving the quality and the range of the WiFi.

Wow, where do I start. Exceeded expectations with location, views, space and amenities. We were going to book a hotel but really wanted to have some separate living areas for 2 teenage boys who came with us. After finding this property on VRBO we booked it. We were amazed by the views and all the amenities this property had. The owner was engaged during our stay checking on if we needed anything. We were pleasantly surprised by how we had everything at our fingertips both inside the unit and around the property. This made for a very special trip. We will be returning hopefully in the near future.

Our family of 5 had a fabulous stay at Makena Surf C-201. The unit was updated and spacious with an amazing view. Kitchen stocked with all the important staples and the beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas were put to use daily. The beach is beautiful - great snorkeling and also fun waves to play in. We did not want to leave. Beth was super responsive and flexible and easy checkin/check out. We hope to return!
