Cleaning Protocol as a response to future guests current concerns:
Let me respond to questions concerning our cleaning protocol in the current virus crisis. First, we have instituted a two night delay between a guest departure and a new guest arrival at our vacation home. Second, in the past but even more so for the future we will wash all towels (even those not used by previous guests), all the bedding including the top bedding will be laundered. All Utensils will be rewashed even if the previous guest had washed them before leaving. All counter tops, tables, and appliances will be wiped down and allowed to dry the two nights between departures and arrivals. All chairs and sofa will be wiped down with a disinfectant. All beach gear will be disinfected. All food and drinks left by the previous guests will be disposed. Disinfectant wipes will be available to new guests. We want our guests to feel safe and be safe.
We purchased this vacation villa in March 2015 with the goal of sharing our love of the island with others. After several vacations on the Big Island we decided that the Waikoloa Beach Resort area, located just 20 minutes north of the Kona International Airport, was a central and ideal location from which to explore and enjoy the vast beauty and diversity of the island. In addition, to outdoor attractions including top rated golf courses in the resort area there are numerous cultural attractions, shops, luaus, local and native artists and a wide variety of restaurants.
We chose The Fairway Villas complex because it was tucked away in a quiet and convenient niche of the greater Waikoloa resort area and for these other important considerations: a) the beautiful landscaping; b) the serene environment; c) the world class golfing; d) the close proximity to beautiful beaches such as Anaeho’omalu, Manini'owali and Hapuna; e) the short walk to world class shops and restaurants as well as moderately priced restaurants; f) the beautiful infinity pool, spa, fitness center, grill area and lovely commons area; and, g) the security and privacy provided by a gated entrance
Our 2 BR/2 BA villa offers stunning views of the 1st green of the Tom Weiskoph designed Waikoloa KIings Golf Course, sunrise views of Kohala Mountain from the lanai, beautiful palm trees swaying in the breeze, opportunities to stroll along the Kings Petroglyph trail that is right in the backyard. Prior to our purchase, the previous owners had recently redecorated the unit with high quality furnishings and luxurious appointments such as: new bed in the master suite, new designer sofa and matching chairs, beautiful granite tops in the kitchen area including a long breakfast bar, lovely glass and rattan dining table, new large flat screen HD television in living room and master bedroom, as well as custom painted walls.
We have expanded on these renovations with our additions. We have purchased all new stainless steel kitchen appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave) as well as new full sized/high efficiency washer and dryer. Additional updates include a new designer sofa that converts to a queen sized bed, all new dish ware, fine utensils and cutlery, high quality pots and pans and food preparation tools to delight any gourmet cook and even new small appliances such as toasters, blenders, coffee makers (including Keurig Cup coffee maker), electric rice cooker and electric tea pot. We have also purchased new twin beds for the 2nd bedroom in order to accommodate families with children. However, a conversion kit allows us to configure the twin beds as a king if desired for your rental needs. Our unit includes HD TV reception, free wireless internet service and free phone calls to/from the mainland US and Canada. In addition, we have provided recreational items such as beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, coolers and boogie boards to ensure that our guests are able to enjoy the many lovely local beaches.
Other villa amenities include complimentary detergent, an assigned parking space and convenient access to the building’s elevator.
We have rented condos and vacation homes for many years and have learned from the best what vacation renters want and need and what delightfully surprises them when they arrive. We plan to assure that you experience an “awesome welcome” and a wonderful immersion in island life while you make our vacation home your vacation home.
