Wed upon anrrival “ Out of order”sign on washing machine and puddle in bathroom, notified reMax. Thursday, water everywhere, called reMax. Facility manager notified reMax that we needed a new room.After many calls, we were given a new room but we were told we needed to get out on Sat because new guests were coming. What??? We were told “Sorry it’s a busy time (Christmas week)nothing is available. You are welcome to look on the internet and if you can find something we will reimburse you” What??? .Sunday we moved our stuff back to original condo, the beds were stripped, had to call reMax for linens. The washer still had an out of order sign on it.ReMax provided minimal support and ZERO comfort.

It was more than perfect!My only suggestion is that there would be a food for purchase option prior to 3: 00 PM when Oasis opens! You folks could make a killing selling burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, and nachos!!!!

We had to change locations due to Maui fire. They were available and the change was easy. Great location and easy to get places from resort. Would definitely rent again. Small issue was the tvs in bedrooms didn’t work and loose door handle. Thanks for accommodating us.

I specifically sought to stay within the Waipouli Beach Resort after seeing the pool - we love exploring the beaches, but the certainty of a great pool helps a bunch. :)
I'd say if anything once we entered the condo it was even better than I expected from the listing. It was spacious - more space than we actually needed or could make use of - and super well stocked - both in terms of the kitchen basics we'd want as well as the extra beach toys, chairs, umbrella, and more that were provided. There were so many closets that I got lost trying to find the beach toys again. ;)
I will say we had some bugs in the kitchen - specifically cockroaches. We'd probably see 1-2 a day for the days we were there, so not a ton. Combine a first floor condo with the fact that this is many units in a building co-existing, and that we're in the tropics and it wasn't entirely surprising.
Remax (especially Angela!) was helpful as a host as well - I needed to get something sent to me, and was able to get the package delivered right across the street at a UPS store.
As others have mentioned, it was super convenient having Safeway & Starbucks right across the street, a Long's Drugs right down the street, and many other things to walk to. When we moved down to Poipu for the 2nd half of our trip it wasn't the same on the convenience front.

We had the absolute best experience in this unit and the island. Perfect spot, perfect amenities, Remax was so convinced and had everything on hand we needed and then some. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids and we had so much space we never felt cramped or on top of eachother. The unit is fully equipped with movies, games, awesome tvs and wifi was spot on. We really enjoyed staying at waopuli beach resort and our unit was surprisingly spacious. There is a patio somewhat protected from the parking lot which we used frequently. The pool was nice and close and we had a picnic on the beach one night. This location has great access to the island and we often went north to gorgeous beaches. House was better stocked than we anticipated and we cooked often. Lots of grocery stores close and we hit Costco after we flew in. The two master sweets worked well for our older kids and us- and three bathrooms! Tons of communication from remax which got a bit confusing but it all worked out great. Thx so much for an amazing trip!!!!

The kitchen was well stocked except for the silverware left in the top of the dishwasher that took us a few days to find ;-) The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious though one bed was extremely firm. We enjoyed having beach chairs and towels, cooler and boogie board available to us. There were movies, books and great TV watching options. We enjoyed having breakfast on the patio each morning.Sadly the washing machine was mildewy so we chose not to risk washing our clothes in there. The pool area was very nice. The lobby presence and assistance was not great. Overall we were very happy with the accomodations and would stay here again.

Property was spotless when we arrived. The cleaning crew is fantastic. Unit's location was perfect for a family with children. No stairs/elevator, easy access to pool and parking lot. Very quiet at night. Great supply of necessities like hand/dish soap, garbage bags, etc. Some things could be easily updated to really make it fantastic: shower handles loose, screen doors difficult to use, beach umbrella broken so can't screw into ground, ice maker makes lots of ice but doesn't quite fit in the freezer, and LOTS, I mean LOTS of unnecessary "decor" - fake plants, wall hangings, etc. that are in the way and feel cheap. Overall a great trip and we would book again.

Great stay at this resort! Honestly I think it would be hard to find a resort with better amenities. The pool, waterslides, and hottub(s) were a great back up plan for a rainy day. The walkability of this area is INSANELY good. There is a Safeway right across the street making groceries very convenient - and the kitchen that comes with the condo has EVERYTHING you could need (from grilling to cooking to sushi making). There are about a dozen restaurants and a couple bars within walking distance that made dinner plans very simple and convenient. AND the beach is just a few seconds walk from C105! Great for watching the sunrise and getting a start to your day. Many of the good beaches to swim at are also only a few minutes drive away (visited Hanalei (40 mins), Kalapaki (15 mins), Lydgate (8 mins), and Poipu (40 mins)).
The beach chairs, towels, cooler, and umbrella that came with the condo also quickly became our beach day essentials. Snorkel rentals are not provided by the condo but are a short walk from the condo.
The owners are quick to respond and will help you in any way they can. It was Mother's Day when I arrived and they helped arrange flowers for my Mom for when we got there!
Couldn't ask for a better resort get-away. The price is right and it has everything you need! 5/5 stars will be staying again in the future!

This apartment was comfortable and well furnished with everything we needed. There was a well stocked kitchen, enough basic supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soaps etc) to last our entire stay, and all the beach accessories we needed. It was very easy to get to the north of south of the island from this central location, and the pool was lovely. Not crowded, but not deserted either so there were always other children for out kids to play with. I love that they had a kid friendly hot tub.

Overall stay was really pleasant. We were able to check-in early which was extremely helpful with two kids under 5. It was quiet, great walking distance to grocery, restaurants, shopping and most importantly after dinner treats. The location was central to the hot spots although we kept going back and forth to Poipu which was a good 20-30 mins away. The rooms and bathrooms were really spacious, kitchen was set up well, great pool although the restaurant was open until dinner so BYO food/snacks/drinks. The few things to note - the freezer door was extremely hard to open and close, oven takes a very very long time to pre-heat (maybe have a toaster oven handy), bed is very squeaky so it was hard to sneak out after we put our kids to bed, the outside could use some hooks or places to dry our beach gear, beach gear needs a major upgrade - umbrella was broken, bag didn't have a zipper to close, some boogies boards weren't not ideal for use, smaller cooler would be nice for day trips and we had to buy our own beach toys for the kids. The floors also was always gritty so I had to wear socks every day so highly recommend bringing slippers. We even vacuumed a few times as well. Above is all minor as would of made our stay even more amazing! The unit is by the parking lot which is convenient to load/unload but not that relaxing for parents with young kids who go to bed rather early.

Stayed in this rental with an infant and a preschooler. AC was a huge plus, as was the awesome pool. The location on the first floor was perfect - no messing with stairs or elevators to get to and from the pool, easy to get the kids to the car as well.
Also appreciated how quiet the place was. We only heard other guests occasionally in the hallway. Initially I was a bit bummed about facing the parking lot, but in retrospect if we had faced the pool it probably would have been a lot louder.

Overall a very nice condo and property. Pool was great for kids, nice beach access, great area of town. Day 4 our AC quit working and we didn't notice it till late afternoon when we all returned. I immediately called Remax who's the local contact for this condo. They reached out to whom they called the property/condo General manager. That GM's response was, they'd have someone out first thing in the morning. They further stated just open all the doors and sleep with them open.
We're not from Hawaii and therefore are not acclimatized to the weather. Thus requiring AC. We also had two small children, one with asthma so there was no way we were going to leave the place completely open overnight. I shared this with my Remax contact and said that was totally unacceptable. I was then told that's what the GM said so there was nothing Remax could do.
So yes, we all had a terrible night's sleep. Not fun at all. And first thing the next morning was around 1000 because we were still at the property when maintenance showed up.
The maintenance guy pointed up and stated they were doing work on upper units the day before and possibly got something in the drain. The AC unit was shutting off because the condensation couldn't drain. They worked on it, got it working, and left.
30 mins later it wasn't cooling again. I contacted Remax again whom got maintenance back out again. They fixed again and left. Yep, 30 mins later it stopped cooling again.
I contacted remax again who in turn got maintenance back out. This time maintenance said thete must definitely be a blocked drain line and they'd have to get a plumber out...the next day. Meaning we were going to be without AC another night. I told them that wasn't going to work, wasn't going to have 2 night's of no sleep because it was too hot inside. I suggested they figure a way to temporarily set up a drain so the AC would keep working.
After a couple attempts, they figured a way to do this. So we were going to have AC over night but, we were going to have to wake up during the night and empty the bucket to have AC. We did that.
The next day, plumber showed up, put a bottle of drain cleaner in and that opened things up. Unbelievable the original maintenance people couldn't have done that themselves.
So we put up with this for 2.5 days and the 2 night's. Very disappointed in the local property GM who didn't really care about our comfort.
Would really like the GM to be held accountable.

No surprises here - the condo was just as pictured. Having two “master bedrooms” was perfect for 2 couples traveling together. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast (and could have cooked more if we hadn’t wanted to try some local restaurants). We loved the landscaping and the pool … and especially the hot tubs. Being in Kapaa, the condo is in a great location - walking distance to several restaurants and shopping and midway between Poipu and Anini Beaches for some great snorkeling.

We rented 2 units at the Waipouli Resort which were both lovely, spacious and clean. They were both equipped with full kitchens, pool and beach toys and coolers and beach chairs which was so nice to be able to use.The resort was very nice with a beach area and fabulous swimming pool. There was construction happening so had to detour to reach pool but understand repairs need to be done.Location was good with local food stores handy but car rental a must.Angela from Remax was just a call away and gave a quick response to any questions.There also was a restaurant but we mainly ate at our unit or took advantage of the Barbecue down by the pool.We found everyone very friendly and other than wanting to experience a different part of the island would return to Waipouli anytime!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The condo was just as described on the listing and was so clean! This was probably the best equipped and best kept condo we could have asked for. We were blown away at how well maintained the rest of the resort grounds were kept as well. The workout facility was spotless and the pool was pristine! The beach was wonderful and we never had any trouble finding space or lounge chairs. The one disappointment was that the on-site restaurant had very limited hours (likely a leftover consequence of COVID). The only other thing to note is that this condo's lanai faces the parking lot. This was not am issue for us since there was a pretty privacy hedge separating the unit from the lot. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental! We hope to return again some day!

We started our stay out in this particular unit. We had a maintenance issue that resulted in us eventually agreeing to move. The folks at Remax Kauai were very fair with respect to compensating us for the inconvenience and tried to minimize the impact. We really enjoyed the time we spent in this particular unit. The unit was very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The owners provided small amenities that although, they seemed small really made a big difference to us. Beach chairs, cooler bags, beach toys for the kids, beach towels - these things made us feel at home. After moving units, we really appreciated the placement of three ceiling fans in the units - in each bedroom and the living room - this really helped with air circulation and made sleeping most comfortable along with the air conditioning unit. Travelling with kids we really appreciated the proximity to the pool and to the parking area upon returning from a long day at the beach! Thanks for helping make it a great vacation for us - we would stay here again!

My choice in location was superb, this was my second visit to the island and wanted to be more central to the popular spots to visit. The apartment was awesome, enjoyed the kitchen with all the ammenities in excellent condition. The beds were phenomenal, excellent sleep and very comfortable. The beach gear was very handy, we borrowed the cooler for the hike to queens bath, boogie boards of all sizes to enjoy the beach. The bathrooms and showers were as expected with the same comforts as in my own home. A hurricane was lurking close by and called the property management, they were very accomodating should my next island plans fall through they were ready to offer a back up plan. I would recommend the apt, the proximity of the grocery stores were ideal and allowed for full daytime enjoyment to meet any last minute needs.

Condo was wonderful, great facility, bathrooms, pool, kitchen, and the remax staff was easy to work with when our schedule needed a slight change. However, the "air conditioning" was a joke. Essentially nonfunctional during the stay other than to move air, there were multiple times when it was actually colder outside. This was following the energy-eye guidelines as well, which turns off the A/C system and changes the set temperature back to 74 frequently. Which is fine, or it would have been, if the condo temp had actually ever reached 74. Despite the system's indications that everything was working properly, we were sweating throughout the entire stay.

This condo exceeded our expectations. The beds and linens were very comfortable, as were the couch and chairs in the living room. The bedroom doors were heavy enough so that if someone wanted to sleep while others were in the living area, they could rest quietly. Remax responded quickly to any questions or issues we had. We stayed in C-105 and it was everything we hoped it would be and more ! The condo looks exactly as seen in the pictures. The unit had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We enjoyed that there were lawn chairs, cooler, snorkel gear to use. The location was great. We only used the pool once, and it was nice. I was worried as I read many reviews that the pool was cold, but I found it quite comfortable. The unit faces the parking lot, but there are large hedges between the building and the parking lot so you don't really notice the parked cars.The lady at the excursions counter was also very helpful. The only glitch we had was that we arrived back to our room one day to find that our code to get in to the room no longer worked. Security looked us up and our room was listed as VACANT. With a call to the after hours emergency number, Cyrila had us back in our room with a new code quite quickly. We would definitely stay at this resort, and in this unit again !

Having traveled to Kauai before we realized the importance of being centerly located on the island. This location rocks. The two best grocery stores are right across the street. Downtown Kapaa is about a 10 minute walk. The first floor unit is much desired. The view is not much but who cares? Remember your renting the island, go find your views. Very quiet and nicely stocked. Easy parking. It looked much nicer than the photos indicated. Great washer and dryer.All six of us loved it!!!

we love the place. everything is new. the resort is very nice. our kids love the swimming pool and the slides. The beach is not swimmable (strong waves!!!) We have to go other beaches to swim, but not at our resort. The only complaint I have for this unit is the bed in the guest bedroom. The bed makes squeaky noise when we move, twist and turn. It makes noise when we try to get off the bed. Didn't like it at all. Other that that, it's a great to place to stay.

Really nice condo, wonderful cooking appliances and pots and pans and knives. Clean, lovely decor. They have a closet full of boogie boards, beach chairs & sand toys. Even though there is no view and on ground floor it's still private, you look out on pretty plants. Very quiet, you can't hear anyone upstairs. The Remax agents are very nice and responsive. The pool is great, kids love the water slides and they have a really nice spa for adults. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in march with my wife and 2 young children. Property is very nicely located with a beach on the property and a 24 hour grocery store across the street for those late night plane arrivals. The condo was nicely stocked with beach toys, chairs, cooler, snorkel gear, towels, etc.. The room was very quiet and we only heard adjacent guests once during the entire stay. The only downside was the bed as it was a bit too hard for our liking. The on site pool kept the kids happy after coming back from exploring the island. Salt water chlorination, water slides, hot tubs, heated!! Can't wait till we can return here.

The condo was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family of 4. We loved the resort too! The pool was great, and the ocean front is beautiful. We also loved that we could rent bikes and get a massage on the resort, and it that it was close to the bike path. The location was so good for all our activities, and there's a grocery store and lots of delicious places to eat (including shave ice) right across the street! Would definitely say here again!

Enjoyed this unit immensely. Pretty quiet just headlights came in in the evenings. Well stocked except papertowels and we stayed 10 days with just one set of sheets. Beautiful room, we wound up buying a topper for one of the beds. We also had to stagger showers for the four of us and couldn’t quite fill up one tub without running out of hot water. The oven did not work but I must’ve failed to read that when we booked so that was on me. Beautiful room overall. It would have been awesome if everything worked. The pool is very secure, no getting in there unless you have a photographic memory of your room code and then add it to the pool code. Write it down on something 😊. The pool was also beautiful. It was very refreshing.

The location was good. The condo was beautiful. However, the floors were filthy. After walking around barefoot, my feet were black. Dropped an earring which landed under the nightstand and it was obvious the floors under it had not been cleaned in a long time. This is my only complaint.

Amazing property. Highly recommend it to anyone with a family. Yes, the back yard does look out to the parking lot but the pool, location, and great staff more than make up for it. Safeway is right across the street making it easy to run grab food. And Kapaa is centrally located on the island so if you venture north or south it takes about the same amount of time. Property was only 15 minutes from airport making it very easy to get too. Only down side was rush hour traffic gets really thick on the road just around the property (they were doing road work when we were there about a mile down and I think that was causing extra issues with traffic) we just planned our day to leave early or late and it was all good. Thanks for a great stay!!!

On the pro side, great location. On the con side. The outdoor patio light didn’t work and the bulb was broken inside so we couldn’t change it. We had to use a flashlight for patio lighting. Oven door didn’t close tight. Took for ever to heat the oven. Bedroom chair about broken at desk. We were a party of 6 and it was designed for a party of 4. Only 2 bar stools and not adequate seating in living room or the patio. We asked for late check out but no one responded to my email. That was a disappointment.

We love this property! The unit was exactly as described. Beautiful, clean and centrally located in Kapaa just steps from the beach and near shopping centers for groceries and restaurants. I definitely recommend staying here. Being on the ground level made things so much easier for us traveling with our Dad with mobility issues. I look forward to our next stay at this gem!! If you are all about an ocean view out your window, this is not for you. But if you are all about a beautiful place with all amenities you could imagine in an amazing resort, this is for you!

We loved our stay here. The resort is very nice and right on the ocean. The condo was big and for the most part well kept. A few things could use an update. The oven didn't work, the bedding is a little worn, a lot of the towels were stained but we still really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again. We really liked the ease of checking in and out via a door code and Remax was great to work with.

The stay was amazing. The pool was great and our son loved the waterfalls and cave. There was a broken chair and they were able to replace it very quickly. We seen a Monk Seal in the beach. There were always chairs on the beach for chilling and the staff was kind and courteous

The unit (C-105) is very big, has upscale appliances and is a short walk to one of the best pools on the island. Nearby food is good and cheaper than in Po'ipu and Hanalei. The location is ideal if you want to explore most of the island. The one drawback is the patio, which had a great view of the Ross sign on the store across the street.

The resort property was everything we hoped for and more. Staff and property manager were always very friendly and helpful. Our C-105 condo unit was perfectly located. Loved being on the first floor with immediate access to all the resort amenities, as well as right next to the parking lot for when we wanted to take our rental car and tour the island. Even though the location meant our view was of the parking lot, it didn’t really bother us at all (and ended up actually preferring it, surprisingly).
The condo unit itself was fantastic in almost every way, with some exceptions. The fancy, high-end Wolf oven was broken, and apparently had been broken for sometime. A call to the property manager confirmed they knew it was broken, and they said it was hard to get replacement parts for an outdated unit. But, then they offered to provide a countertop convection toaster oven (on a very nice rolling cart), which ended up being perfect for cooking some of the Safeway frozen pizzas was had picked up. And the internet (provided by the Resort) had some intermittent problems, but worked about 95% of the time. The only other thing the property could use is a little TLC in one of the showers because the plastic edging alongside the glass door, keeping the water inside the shower, was beyond end of life. Only reason I put 4.5 instead of
5 stars. Otherwise, everything was great.
Really appreciated a full blown kitchen with all the pots, cups, plates, silverware, and utensils you’d find at your home. And having a washer/dryer on-site made our 10 day vacation stay with kids (10 & 7) that much easier. Note, there is no housekeeping services (which we didn’t mind) and you are responsible for replenishing items used like paper towels from the kitchen and toilet paper. We just picked up a big pack of TP from Costco and left a bunch remaining - your welcome whoever stayed after us :)
Would definitely stay at this resort and this unit again!

Upon checking into the condo there was a very musty smell to it. When we went to make dinner we realized that the oven didn’t work. My husband then called the after hours for the property manager, and they said that they would send someone out to fix the other the next day. They never sent anyone out and did not answer any further communication from us. This is super frustrating considering we rented the condo so that we would be able to make some meals there to save some money. There were broken chairs and lightbulbs that were out. It didn’t seem like this place was well taken care of.The area it was located it was great. Close to restaurants and grocery store. My kids really enjoyed the pool area as well.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo and on property. The pool is beautiful and loved walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Loved renting bikes and riding along the coast. Beach was small and kinda rough for swimming while we were there. We had a car and drove to the north and south beaches to explore. Wonderful trip and this condo was a great home away from home for the week.

Our unit was not well maintained. Our 1 year ole got locked in a bedroom because the door handle came off, and maintenance had to get her out, said the knob was not properly installed. The oven was broken when we arrived, which meant limited cooking, and the air conditioned ended up having a leak and soaking most of two rooms and a lot of our personal belongings. They moved us after 3 nights to another unit across the resort, which meant packing up all of our belongings again.
Resort is lovely, pool is wonderful. Would stay at the resort again, just not this unit.

6 of us stayed for 4 nights in C105. We checked in to find dried blood stains on the matress visible through the sheets, food & wrappers in the pull out couch, coffee remnants in the coffee pot and a broken oven. It took two nights of the 4 to get the bed cleaned (so I was forced to sleep on an unsanitary bed), we cleaned the dirty portions of the condo ourselves and the over was never fixed. Very unsatisifed. Calls to the property management were unanswered and VMs were not returned.
