Celebrated Grandsons 16th Birthday with a surprise trip to Maui. Condo was spacious. It is on the second floor of complex so there are about 20 steps from parking carport to condo unit. Beautiful views from both levels.

This condo exceeded our expectations in every way. Beautiful condo with great views from every window, even the shower! The views with the spacious rooms, comfortable furniture, and fully equipped kitchen will make you wish you lived here. The owner provides beach chairs, towels, cooler and boogie boards and makes the 10 min walk to the beach a breeze. The trip back is up hill so we actually drove down and parked if there was a spot open. You are close to shops, grocery and restaurants. Can’t go wrong with this rental. Easy check in/out. Highly recommend!

This property in the Kapalua Ridge Villas exceeded our expectations. Lots of windows and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the amazing views in every direction of the golf course, ocean, and sunsets. Even the shower is incredible and provides ocean views. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. The pool is just steps away, and there are walking paths to the ocean and market/restaurants in Kapalua. We spent a week in Maui and really never wanted to leave the area considering the golf, snorkeling, beaches, restaurants, and ziplining are all excellent and within just 5-10 minutes of the condo. Overall this area of this island is less crowded and laidback, and even more relaxing as you enjoy the sunset with a cocktail from this deck. In addition to the great location and views, the property had plenty of space for our family of 4 to spreadout. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom space is bright and spacious, and the beach chairs, boogie boards, and cooler came in handy. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.

The location of the property was excellent - very close to 2 pools and short walk or drive to beaches. It was so convenient to the Montage Resort where we attended a wedding. The free shuttle was always available within 15 minutes!
I would definitely rent the same property on my next visit tho Maui.

What you see in the pictures is exactly the way this home really is. The views are spectacular, and it is close to beaches, pools, hikes, and golf. The beds were extremely comfortable; the bathrooms are plush; the kitchen is well-appointed; the washer and dryer work beautifully. The house is situated to get glorious breezes throughout the day. We used the room air-conditioners in the bedrooms only at night. The area is peaceful and quiet. We loved having access to beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards! The owner is very responsive and extremely helpful. We cannot recommend this Kapalua Villa high enough!

This villa was perfect. The beds were even very comfortable.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Dale's wonderful Kapalua condo. Located with fairway and ocean views - this is a perfect getaway location for quiet relaxation. Dale is a perfect host, and also went out of his way to ensure our stay went as expected.

Our group involved two couples who have been friends since elementary school and this was our first VRBO experience. Hence don't know all the intricacies veteran VRBO vacationers might know. My wife and I are celebrating 30 years while our friends are celebrating 25. The host, Dale, responded to our reservation request promptly and included warm wishes for our Anniversaries we were looking to celebrate in Maui. As arrival date approached, Dale provided complete details of all pertinent information needed to check in/check out along with wireless codes and where to find things. He even offered his personal contact information and said "don't hesitate to call if you need anything. This made us feel very comfortable with our choice. The property is exactly as advertised which we greatly appreciate. Property is in a beautiful, quiet, and very safe location close to everything we wanted to explore. The entire complex property is located is vastly beautiful and ample parking right at property. We absolutely loved the Lanai overlooking golf course and view of ocean. We could see whales breaching from this vantage. Location is outstanding which allowed us to walk to amazing beaches, hiking, restaurants - location is bit more secluded which we relished since it wasn't as busy or touristy. Loved the fact there were beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards at our disposal. We made sure to wash off everything we used as there is hose readily available on lanai and place back in storage area. We all very much enjoyed our stay and 1) would definitely recommend to anyone else considering a stay in Maui and 2) would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Dale for hosting us and making our vacation outstanding!!

Very comfortable for our family of four with large bedrooms and bathrooms, great living space, and large lanais on the first and second floor overlooking the 3rd hole of the Bay Course, the Ocean, and providing views of Lanai and Molokai. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive including a store on site to stock up the kitchen with items. Five to ten minute walk to beaches to swim at and the bay to snorkel at. The access to beach chairs and boogie boards in the shed was key too.

Wow! The views from this condo are amazing! Every room has views of the ocean. - even the shower! Superbly located away from the hustle and bustle of the big resorts but within easy reach of everything. We had a wonderful vacation in Maui and loved staying here.

We had a great experience at this wonderful Kapalua Ridge Villa. It was a great location with an easy walk to multiple beaches and was very quiet and secluded in the evenings.
A great place for a family stay in Maui. We highly recommend this location and the property owner is wonderful and very responsive and helpful.

This property had excellent views; a great location close to the beach, the Honolua store and several restaurants; and was perfect for our family of four. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, and we loved being on the ninth hole and watching the golfers in the morning. Highly recommend if you're looking for an idyllic Hawaiian vacation.

Very comfortable and elegant home. Great views of the ocean! Private and quiet. Definitely the perfect place to stay if you want luxury, privacy, comfort and relaxation. Great location!!! House is beautiful! I've stayed at a lot of places on Maui and this was by far the best home I've stated in. I will definitely be staying here again.

Our family of 3 adults were immediately delighted the moment we opened the door to this beautiful home. Choosing a place to stay for a well deserved and much anticipated holiday can often be stressful and sometimes disappointing upon arrival as photos are outdated and amenities over hyped. I'm happy to report that this was not the case for our time at Kapalua Ridge. The condo was as shown in the pictures; tastefully decorated Hawaiiana but not overdone and accurately depicted ocean views. There is great separation for privacy between the two spacious bedrooms; the beds were quite comfortable, and there was plenty of closet space. No shortage of towels (bath and beach) and I would love to have the upstairs walk-in shower in my own home. Beach chairs, boogie boards, a beach umbrella, a cooler pack, and tote bags were conveniently available. As one who enjoys cooking, even on vacation, I was delighted with the fairly well equipped kitchen (just missing a salad spinner!)
We truly would have been content to sit on the lanai reading our books and watching the golfers on the 9th hole but it was easy walking distance (10-20 minutes depending on your pace) to Kapalua Bay for great snorkeling and Oneloa Bay was less than 5 minutes down the hill for early morning strolls on a lovely beach. The Honolua Shop for supplies also within 15 minute walking distance. Honolua Bay also great for snorkeling less than 30 minutes drive away and if we wanted more action, Kaanapali and Lahaina were also a short drive away.
We've been to Maui over a dozen times and usually stay in the Wailea area. We think next time we would return to Kapalua and would happily return to this lovely bit of Paradise.

We had a wonderful family vacation staying at this condo!
The location is amazing. The condo is located in a small neighborhood of two-story condos along the golf course. It is very quiet because the back porch faces the golf course. The view into the ocean from the porch and many of the windows is beautiful. It is within walking distance to a sushi restaurant, wine bar, pools, and amazing beaches within Kapalua. In the other direction toward Napili, there are a number of restaurants and more beaches within walking distance.
The inside is exactly as pictured (the only difference is that, as the listing makes very clear, the room that used to have two twin beds now has one king bed). The furniture is in very good condition and the beds were comfortable. The wifi has a very strong signal-- enough for multiple people to be streaming video at once. Having three showers was great for when our whole family came back from the beach. The kitchen is large and there is an open floorplan so that anyone preparing food can see and talk to the people in the living room. Both of the bedrooms are offset from the main kitchen/dining rooms and so have a lot of privacy.
I have absolutely no complaints, and I have to think that this condo is much, much nicer that most of what is available in Maui. I hope to stay here again if we return.

Most vacation rentals oversell and under-deliver. Not true with this one! It is unimaginable that a more perfect setting could exist from which to explore and enjoy the delights of Maui and the world renowned Kapalua Resort. This recently beautifully remodeled (but surprisingly affordable) 2 story residence is immaculate, spacious, tastefully appointed and perfectly located for adventurers and relaxers alike. The residence (and its covered porches on both stories) look out over the 9th fairway of the famous Kapalua Bay Golf Course, and has lovely views of the Pacific Ocean in 2 directions (toward both the islands of Lanai and Moloka'i). New granite countertops, cabinetry and appliances, beautiful walk in showers, flat screen TV's, and lovely, comfortable furnishings make this residence all the more enjoyable. All of the many amenities of the Kapalua Resort (world class Kapalua Beach and Namalu Bay Beach, the Kapalua Bay Golf Course, the Kapalua Plantation Golf Course, the Ritz Carlton Resort, the Montage Resort & Spa, and several of the region's best beach front restaurants - Merriman's, Cane & Canoe, and Sea House ) are easily accessible by VERY short walks or the free resort shuttle that is immediately at your beck and call with a quick phone call. The residence's owners have thought of everything -- right down to the beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels and beach cooler. As Kapalua Ridge Villas guests, we even had full use of the pool and preferred and discounted access to the Bay and Plantation Golf Courses. Snorkel Bob's (where you can rent snorkel and surfing gear, and arrange for discounted helicopter tours and other adventures) is just up the street, as is the Honolua Store (an upscale general store with groceries, beverages, sunscreen and practically anything else you might want to enhance your stay) . The charming seaside town of Lahaina, and its many art galleries, restaurants and night spots, are a mere short drive away, as are a number of other highly recommended attractions in the immediate area (including Honolua Bay Beach, Black Rock Beach and the Nakalele Blowhole). Because there are so many wonderful places in this big world to visit, we rarely return anywhere. We will most assuredly be back here -- but only if we can stay in this terrific residence.
