Everything was perfect with our stay.
Location was great. 5 min walk to KAM 3 beach which is the most young children friendly beach in Maui.
The kitchen was fully stocked with all condiments and essentials.
Everything looked recently remodeled.
Hosts were always responsive.
Nice walkout to lawnspace from patio.
We were allowed to do late check out (we had a late afternoon flight back).

This is a fantastic Maui condo and definitely deserves a 5 star rating. It is beautifully renovated and extremely well stocked with everything needed for your stay. It was very clean when we arrived, the beds are comfy and the location is ideal for beach and pool fun. The complex is well maintained with beautiful gardens and lawns and the atmosphere is very friendly (don't miss the sunset conch shell blowing). We hope to visit again!

Gail was an amazing host and made our stay so easy and comfortable. The check in instructions were concise yet thorough. The condo was beautifully and tastefully remodeled and so comfortable. We couldn’t believe how well stocked it was; even lotion and makeup mirror provided. The bed was so incredibly comfortable that we slept very well. Gail even accommodated our request for late checkout. Such a gracious and wonderful host. We will definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was well stocked with beach accessories. We enjoyed the quiet mornings sitting outside, easy walking access to a nice beach and the grass hill just across the street to watch the sunset. A perfect location in Maui if you enjoy walking into town, and having easy access to a family friendly beach.

Everything about this place was top notch. Comfortable beds. Everything we needed. Loved the location!! Beach across the street is so clear and great for snorkeling, and there are amazing sunsets. Mountains on one side and ocean on the other. The common grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. Will definitely go here again if we get back to Hawaii.

This condo was so comfortable and convenient. It was very clean and the owner was very good to deal with. It was so nice to have all the beach equipment available. I soaked and cleaned the snorkels and they worked great. Saw turtles every day, fun birds, and of course beautiful flowers everywhere! Much less crowded here than up the north side.

This is a really nice place. Tasteful upgrades all around inside. All appliances work great - strong blender for smoothies in the AM! Bed is super comfortable. Location is right across the street from beach, and you can walk to a ton of places to eat. We've stayed at 3 places on Maui, and this was the nicest by far. Would 10/10 recommend.

We’ve been staying at Hale Kamaole for over 26 years and this was one of the nicest condos we’ve stayed in. It is more updated with all the amenities needed. This condo is definitely one of the best and would stay there again.

Great place. Across from the beach, some of the best snorkeling in Maui, with pure white sand and clear emerald water for great visibility ( other beaches on the island may have darker sand and murkier water). The master has an AC unit, while the rest of the condo is natural air - can be a bit warm in the afternoons in the in air conditioned area. Would stay here again.

The location was central to everything you’d want to do on Maui, and the property old was very nice, with a renovated kitchen and patio with a beautiful view! Be sure to grab a conch and join the conch band if you hear strange sounds at sunset. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful, clean condo on ground floor near BBQ and pool amenities. The condo is nicely decorated with a comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, bathroom supplies, outdoor and beach equipment. Loved being so close to park to watch sunset, lovely beach and many amenities all walking distance from Hale Kamole. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this unit and resort for your Maui vacation.

Cons: Couple things: I would add would be lots of hooks or folding racks. For coming to an island, and not being allowed to hang anything on chairs on the lanai or anywhere on the lanai to dry, there is ONE hook to hang one item on in the whole condo, back of the bathroom door. So if you have bathroom towels taking up the small rack areas to hang on their places, there are zero places to hang multiple swimsuits and beach towels to dry.
It does get pretty darn hot, like really hot, in the living room area as there is no A/C unit in there. Only fans. So you're kinda confined to your bedroom for relief and do not plan to use your oven as that will definitely make it worse. We were here end of September, if ppl were here in the summer, I don't know how ppl could live. It did not cool down enough at night to even open the doors to get a breeze to try to cool it down.
Pros: This unit was good, felt pretty clean. We liked that it had chairs & an umbrella that we could use. Nice touches were mini hotel soaps/shampoo/conditioner there to use, & beach towels. Kitchen had lots of utensils, etc. Location was great, you could walk across the street to a grassy park area and the beach. Pool was good.
I think if the living room area wasn't so hot, we would definitely stay here again. The rest was great for the price.

The apartment is equipped with all necessities that you need to feel home. Strong internet and ample of parking spaces. Picnic, snorkeling, beach games items are also shared. I can only recommend Gail‘s wonderful home for your next Maui trip.

We loved our time here! Great location, the beach is fantastic and the lawn is the perfect place for sunsets. The space was comfortable, easy in and out, we made great use of the communal bbqs and we loved all the thoughtful beach accessories in the outdoor closet. We would love to come back soon!

This property is in a perfect location for access to the beach and the pool is only a few steps away from the lanai. Gail was responsive and friendly with text replies. The condo was comfortable (it felt like home!). I slept well and the kitchen hd every thing I needed to cook meals. I will stay here again!

Our family of three loved our stay here. The unit was very clean, well stocked with beach equipment and cooking staples, and very conveniently located across the street from great beaches and close to restaurants and shops. The grounds are well kept and beautiful as well. We were often not in a hurry to go out and explore since it was so comfortable and lovely here! The check in process was very easy and though we didn’t have any issues, Gail seemed very responsive and checked in to see if we needed anything.

My family stayed here for just over a week and had a wonderful time. Honestly, the best part was the location. This complex is at the end of the “strip” of beaches and condo complexes so it feels a little quieter. It’s still within walking distance to some restaurants and the little natural foods grocery store (great produce and gf goods). The condo itself is very close to the crosswalk to the beach and the lower pool. The kids (9 & 12) could just step out the back door to play catch or visit the pool. Everyone was very friendly - you do need to keep the splashing and yelling to a minimum at the pool bc the sound really carries. My kids had a rule of no splashing if someone else was in the pool. Many adults get in for a quick cool down and were all very nice at reminding the kids to calm it down.
The condo was very clean. I couldn’t even find any sand! 😂 Being from Alaska, the heat was a little bit of an issue. When the trade winds blow you can leave the front and back door open for a nice breeze but if it’s not windy it was pretty warm for my thick blood. The air conditioner in the bedroom was acceptable but our kids were out on the hide-a-bed and were a little toasty some nights. I’m sure if you’re used to warm weather you’d be fine!
Of course, the toy storage outside was a great boon! Chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys…so convenient.
The only thing I could think of to make this any better was if there was a single pot amount of coffee for the first morning. We got in late and I sure needed some. And there pot has a reusable basket filter so no need to buy filters!
Thanks for letting us stay; I know we’ll be back.

This garden-facing unit was clean and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living area. Everything we needed including an shaded patio with a view of the lawns. It’s a kid-friendly property with a pool and central BBQ area so a lot to view and enjoy in the evenings. AC only services the bedroom which on our first exceptionally humid arrival day was a little disappointing but as the sun went down the proximity to the ocean. cooled the unit pretty quickly. The king-sized pillow-top bed was a bit past it’s prime with hills and valleys but we slept well anyway. The entire condo complex is a hub of activity during the late afternoons but quieted down after dark for an overall fun and pleasant experience.

We really enjoyed staying in Gail’s unit. It was very clean which is important to us when travelling. Gail was great to deal with and responded very quickly to any questions we had. The unit looked like it was newly renovated with stainless steel appliances that all worked perfectly. Everything we needed for cooking was in the unit with lots of spices, tin foil, plastic wrap, etc. It was also great to have all of the beach stuff available. Unfortunately none of the flippers fit us for snorkelling but it is very reasonable to rent from Boss Frogs down the street. Hale Kamaole has nice grounds with 2 pools and barbecue areas (close to Gail’s unit) and is across the street from Kamaole III beach and park. We would definitely consider staying in Gail’s unit again. Thank you Gail for letting us rent your unit.

The property is exactly what it looks like on the site. It was spacious and had everything we needed while we stayed in Kihei. The location was perfect, just across from a beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The outside closet had beach chairs and coolers and tons of beach equipment and toys, and the towels provided were great for the beach. We ate outside on the patio almost every night - so beautiful. Super easy entrance for the door to the condo. Overall - great stay and we were glad we booked here.

Quiet and calm place to stay. Nice place for relaxation and the beach is across the street! The beach chairs and umbrella so nice to take down with you. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking tools and there are common use grills available. There are some places to eat within a 15 minute walk. Check in and check out were so simple!

Having the use of coolers, chairs, and the umbrella were a plus. It was a 3 minute walk from our door to the sand. This is a great location and property.
