LOCATION: Condo is located on south end of 5th floor of preferred D building. Quiet unit away from foot traffic. Non-smoking unit. Smoking area available outdoors at north end of complex. Two elevators, Numbered parking space immediately adjacent to building.
New split air conditioning to both living room and bedroom. Unit also gets ocean breezes through lanai screens and mountain breezes through front door screen. Two ceiling fans. Roll Down Sun Shade on lanai allows the view but cools the lanai 10 degrees. A tropical paradise!

LOCATION: Kihei Akahi, one of Kihei's favorite vacation resort complexes, is on six and a half acres of beautiful lush tropical grounds, with two swimming pools, BBQ's, and a tennis court and pickleboard court (rackets in office).
Kihei Akahi is across the street from Kamaole Beach Park II, a great beach for sunbathing, walking, swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, and whale watching (in season), and within walking distance of several of Maui's most popular beaches. Steps away from several small shopping centers with a variety of shopping and dining options. Wailea and Makena are a short drive, with some of Maui's best golf courses and the 'Shops of Wailea'.

Location and unit were amazing. The views from the lanai are incredible. The unit itself is well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen amenities were very clean and a good variety to use if you decide to stay in and cook. We really enjoyed the place and the owner was very helpful and responded immediately. This has been a great vacation and would stay here again.

The condo was perfect!! The view, the set up, accessibility and of course the area made it all worth it. This was our 5th trip to Maui and our second stay at the same condo facility. Diane equipped the unit with everything we could have needed. She was responsive when there was a small condo issue. The view of the lanai is truly 180 degrees of blue ocean. The grounds and the pool of Kihei Akahi are also pretty and nicely located close to shops and restaurants. I wish the Lana’i were bigger and didn’t have the ac unit blowing warm air but it wasn’t a big deal.

The Unit is well situated across the street from the Beach and has fantastic views of sunset every night. It has a well appointed kitchen for those who like to cook and is in a well maintained and quiet property close to beach and all amenities.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo which is in a great location in South Kihei. You can walk to the beach and to several hot spot restaurants. We had a small issue with the condo's Wifi but the property manager was able to very quickly correct the situation. We would stay here again.

We had a great 8-day stay in June. The unit was well stocked and had everything we needed for the beach (chairs, mats, umbrella, towels, boogie boards, snorkels). The view from the deck was amazing. The pools were nicer than we expected, and the condo complex was very well maintained. The beach was right across the street, and of all the beaches we saw in Maui, we think it is one of the best for swimming (we even saw a turtle!). Check in was very easy, and Diane provided a lot of useful info about things to do in the surrounding area. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!

Celebrating our retirement, the first vacation we planned was to Maui. We decided on this condo based on the ocean view from the Lunai! In a perfect spot in Kihei, with the beach across the street, very close eateries and shopping as well. Nicely updated condo, and with plenty of handy beach supplies. The location of the condo is a prime spot. You can walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Condo is cozy and very well kept. The best part of the condo was the view of the ocean and getting to watch the sunset right off of the lanai. Highly recommend D514. The property is well kept and quiet which was really relaxing. Excellent base location for exploring the island. Not too far from the airport. Close to many beautiful beaches, lots of great food options and several grocery stores. Wonderful views. Includes all the items one would need to enjoy the beaches or stay in and relax. Bed is comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showering. Diane is easy to communicate with. The condo has so many unique accents and personal touches that really get you in the Maui spirit!

Our stay at this VRBO was great. The owner was very communicative with us leading up to our trip to Maui. The property was very nice and the unit itself was clean and comfortable and was stocked with great amenities (beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkeling equpiment, etc.).
The view was a huge bonus and the location was fantastic as it was close to the beach, shopping and several dining options.
