We are two seniors (60's) appreciated the convienince of a condo with A/C, kitchen, wash/dryer. Twin elevators, reserved parking and closeness to beach are appreciated.

This property was exactly what we needed. Everything was well thought out and supplied. There were towels for the beach, the bath and the furniture. There were 3 ways to make coffee, standard, press and pour over. Quick walk to the pool or beach and a great location to many wonderful places to eat.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this was one of the best places we’ve ever visited. The condo was absolutely beautiful and located near shops, beaches, hiking and more! We had a wonderful week stay in this condo. The property grounds are beautiful, the location is convenient walking distance to shops and restaurants, and of course, the gorgeous beach across the street, and the view from the lanai is amazingggg. It can get a little warm in the unit being in the direct sun in the afternoon, but the sun shade on the lanai helped, and having the AC as an option is nice, even though we only had to use it once. We’d definitely love to come back and stay here again!

This rental had everything you could hope for in the way of amenities. And the location was great: you can walk to the beach and shops and restaurants were very nearby. It was very nicely decorated and comfortable. Having a washer and dryer right in the room was very handy. Our only small complaint would be that the sun in the afternoon was very strong coming through the curtains, making it hard to sit anywhere in the living room. That is only an issue if you are in the room at that time. Everything else was great!

This Vrbo was everything and more for our trip to Maui. It’s spacious, clean, and has everything you’d need for your vacation. The views of the ocean are amazing and you’re a quick walk to the beach.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in Maui and loved it! The condo was very clean and well stocked, and in a nice area. We loved that the lanai faced the ocean and we ate breakfast on it every morning. It was walking distance from many good restaurants and lots of shops, as well as several parks and beaches which was nice. Overall great stay!

We have stayed in many rental properties, and this is by far in the top five. SO clean, so well looked after, well-stocked, quiet, the grounds were amazing and well-kept, very safe, perfect proximity to beautiful beaches, nightlife, shave ice (Surfing Monkey was the best!) restaurants all with an amazing sunset from the balcony. If I had a question, Stephen would answer within the hour. Very easy check in, and exactly as stated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, wifi a breeze. And they scrubbed the grill by the pool DAILY! We appreciated everything about this condo, and next time we are in Maui, we would definitely love to stay here again.

This condo has everything you need to begin your stay no matter the time frame. We stayed for four wonderful nights. We come to Hawaii to snorkel, so this condo is in the right location as you can swim, snorkel just across the street. Mostly we drive to other locations, Turtle Town and up North (during this time of year, May, November you don't snorkel there as it is surf time)And it is well equiped with snorkel things (if you don't own your own) plus they have a cart to load all your stuff in to take to the beach. We we thrilled to see one of those, as we do own our own snorkel things, and we go to a location for the day so we do take a lot of things, cooler towels etc etc, and this condo has all of that! You are close to the beach across the street but from this condo you really don't hear the traffic nosie etc, you have a wonderful view from the lanai of the ocean, when the humpbacks are here I am sure the view is wonderful. So all in all we would recommend this condo, price is good and the location and condo is well stocked. Just have to buy your food etc. There are lots of grocery stores plus costco, walmart. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in Maui & staying at this lovely condo. It was clean & well-equipped; check-in & check-out both were seamless. This was the perfect little property for our stay! Everything from the check in/check out, communication with the owner and property management was great. I was super impressed that it was stocked with everything we needed, beach chairs, umbrella for the beach, etc. The bed was ultra comfy! Definitely a home away from home. The property had everything you would need for a enjoyable vacation in MAUI. From beach chairs to towels to a printer . Check in process was simple and property was clean. It overlooks the ocean and you can hear the waves crashing in the night. It was surreal.

The sofa bed worked well for our group and the space wasn't too crowded for us 4. The check-in process was easy and everyone we talked to was super kind. We had an amazing stay at a beautiful, well-equipped condo. The rattan furniture and wooden and ceramic artwork were very special. Everything was clean and perfect. We lacked for nothing. Wonderful experience. Property is exactly as listed. Perfect location right across the street from Kamaole II Park with a crosswalk right there. Within walking distance of almost anything you need. All kitchen and beach supplies are provided. And you can’t top the view from the lanai! Definitely would stay here again!!!

This condo was the perfect fit for our 6 nights on Maui. Stephen has everything you need for the beach; chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler, everything. Oh, the view at sunrise every morning on the lanai! We loved the added touch of having plenty of condiments in the fridge! My only wish is that I’d have stayed longer!!!

The property was very clean and updated. came with all you would need on vacation, view was better than i expected from photo on vrbo. very quiet area and building. assigned parking. i also have a ocean front condo in myrtle that i rent out and i was very impressed the way stephan keeps his place up and supplied.

I can only echo what everyone else has said. The condo is in a great location with a beautiful sunset and has all the extras you need - cling wrap, multiple coffee making devices, ice packs, coolers, condiments, some toiletries you may have forgotten. The kitchen is better stocked then my one at home, and the bed was soft and comfortable.
A couple of people mentioned the AC issue. My travel partner and I “run hot,” and we didn’t even need to turn on the AC in late May.
I hope we have the opportunity to return in the future!

My husband and I had our honeymoon here and it was just the perfect spot. The location is great since you’re pretty centrally located and the view is stunning! You get an amazing 5th level view of the ocean and on the backside of the unit you get a great view of Haleakala. This unit includes everything you need (Boogie boards, pool floats, a cooler) for the beach. Everything is labelled inside the unit for easy use (Tv remote, Ac unit, etc). My husband and I will definitely be back to Maui and will be staying here!

This condo was great! You really get the bang out of your buck while staying here. Not only is the location great, but the views of the sunset are fantastic from the Lanai! If you’re an early bird or dealing with a big time change, the sunrise views are also very scenic behind the condo. Stephen was great at communicating and we had no issues checking in or out of the property. Would highly recommend this property to any of our family or friends.

We loved our stay at the Kihei Akahi D 503 condo. The owner Steve was very helpful from the beginning. The ocean view from the Lahaina is amazing, we had our coffee in the morning and Dinner there. We really thankful for the beach gear, likeTommy Bahamas beach chairs, umbrella, cooler.
Very clean and close to the beach-5 minutes, shopping and restaurants.

We’ve stayed at this property before and after traveling the state for 10 days, walking into the unit was like coming home!! We love the space and the views. The property is friendly and serene. Location is wonderful. I would caution guests that the air conditioning is not effective in the bedroom. We know this and usually go to Hawaii in the spring so it doesn’t effect us much. Stephen is wonderful to communicate with.

Condo had all the amenities plus a non stop view.
King size bed was super comfy. Didn’t use AC as lovely cross breeze and fans did the job.

My husband and I stayed in D503 while in Maui to celebrate our 1st anniversary. This was my 5th trip to Kihei and I hope to stay in D503 again for my 6th. The condo itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I was blown away by all the extras it offered. It had absolutely everything we needed. It felt like we were staying in a friends home rather than a rental unit. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, even spices, cooking spray and condiments. There were two Tommy Bahama beach chairs, which can be worn as back packs and even come with a little cooler and storage space. Of course, the lanai will be every visitors favorite spot with its gorgeous views of the ocean. We thank you so much for having us, and hope to be back again soon.

My brother and I went to Maui to do day rides by bicycle and this condo had the ideal central location. It was outfitted with everything we could possibly need , just a very short walk to the beach , very clean and neat. From the fifth floor there was a very nice view and the sea breezes were so consistent we never used air conditioning. For us it met all our needs and we were extremely happy with the unit!

This was a great location and just a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. We were so grateful for the beach towels, chairs, snorkels and other beach gear available for use. We didn't have to worry about renting or buying stuff we didn't think about. The property was also very clean and accommodating. We'd pick this over a regular hotel any day!

It’s away from the major resort areas that were super crowded, but very close to a lot of great restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The unit was very clean, had everything we needed, and was the perfect size for two people. I spent a month in this condo during the heart of summer. I find it had everything I needed (decent cookware, beach goods), a comfy bed, and an amazing view. I know some have complained about the heat but I found that with the front door and the lanai door open to catch the tradewinds plus the fans and AC in the living room, it was perfectly pleasant. So sad my time here came to an end!

This property is such a gem. The space is clean and well taken care of. The bed was very comfortable and the condo had everything that we could have wanted for a stay and more. Having snorkel gear, bodyboards, beach chairs, and beach towels was so convenient. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. The lanai was fantastic as advertised, beautiful sunsets every evening. The property is incredibly well maintained with trees, flowers, and plants being tended to daily and there is security on site in the evenings, regularly making the rounds to all four buildings. The location of this property is one of the best selling points, having the beach right across the street removes any need for finding a parking spot. Additionally, you can walk to a number of restaurants and shave ice spots. Just a short drive up the road, you can find Paia Fish Market and Nalu's Southshore cafe, which has the best breakfast we had on our trip. Miso Phat has great sushi. We loved our entire Maui trip and having such a great place to start the day and return to in the evenings really made the trip! Thanks Stephen for offering such a great vacation space!

Stephen was quick to respond to our questions. The area is close to gas stations, the beach, and local eats for tourists and locals alike! The space itself was comfortable for couples, and while we didn't use it, has a pull out sofa bed. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils/cups/dishes, and the bedroom closet had plenty of beach equipment (snorkel gear/coolers/beach chairs, etc) and beach blankets for use. I would recommend getting a rental car to get around the island and enjoy your stay at this condo.
