Our family had a wonderful stay at Marty’s place. The condo was clean, cozy, and comfortable. We enjoyed the artwork on the walls, breakfast/coffee on the lanai, and the pool.
The front closet was well stocked with beach chairs and amenities which we used to enjoy some good beach time and sunsets.
We cooked in for both Christmas Eve and Christmas. The kitchen was perfect for doing our meals for a family of 3.
The grounds and common areas of Maui Sunset were well kept and a big plus. It was a short drive into Kihei for shopping and restaurants.
It doesn’t get much better than this! Thanks so much for the great accommodations, Marty. We hope to visit again soon!

Maui Sunset condo on the beach was a perfect place and central location. Updated and very clean with all the amenities needed for a relaxing beach vacation. Owner was quick to respond to questions and made our stay wonderful. The sunrise outside of the front door was beautiful and the furnishings were high quality and were well taken care of. Plenty of beach coolers, chairs, towel etc.

This property was the best condo we have ever stayed at. Everything was new and clean. It had everything we could possibly need, from kitchen appliances, beach items, coolers for trips, even ice packs in the freezer. Owner replied to all of our questions immediately. We have stayed at Maui Sunset before, but enjoyed this unit the best. It was newly re-done and included many of the 'nuisance' amenities that you have to deal with typically when you arrive such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry and dishwasher soap, etc. It also had beach chairs and coolers, which we sometimes have to buy for just the two weeks that we usually stay.

At the beginning the unit wasn’t ready for us until about 5:20p. No biggie went for our first walk. We ended up seeing 3 turtles swimming along.
The complex is well maintained. Even though the unit is close to the pool and activities, there was never a time the excitement of others was bothersome.
The unit is stocked with everything that you may need. Bathroom supplies, kitchen supplies, bedroom pillows and blankets, games and books galore. As a hint, if the unit gets warm start the AC in the living room and put the tower fan next to it. Once we did that the unit stayed cool and refreshing. We tried to use the strong trade winds it just unfortunately wasn’t blowing in the right direction.
When we come back and if we choose to stay in Kihei this will be our home away from home again.
Thank you for opening up this unit for others. It really help having a beautiful space to come home to each day.

It was a beautiful condo. Clean, colorful, beautiful views from the lanai, and excellent location to neighboring beaches, activities, and restaurants.
The hosts made sure, as they communicated, that everything you'd need during your stay was here. We used the towels, the beach chairs, and even the boogie birds during our trips to the beach. It was so nice fo have laundry in the unit to clean things as needed. Having the kitchen made it easy for us to cook breakfasts in the unit and enjoy it on the lanai each morning, which was beautiful!
The grounds were beautifully kept. The complex and owners of B314 take pride in keeping things looking nice, and it showed.
I'll add that Marty, the host, was very responsive to my questions and gave some great recommendations! When we find our way back to Maui, we hope to come right back here!

I would highly recommend this property for anybody who wants an island getaway. Very well appointed condo that is nicer than the pictures. Amazing location with a great pool area, beautifully kept grounds and miles of beach out front for walking or just to relax and watch for sea turtles, there are lots of them. Enjoy a great variety of restaurants and shops close by. Everything you need is here from a well stocked kitchen to towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, sunsets from the lanai. Definitely exceeded our expectations.

The accommodations were really great. I appreciate a place with nice quality cotton sheets and this place has them. Everything we could need was available. I had other family members staying in other units in the same complex and they were not as lucky. The owner was very responsive with any questions.

Marty’s condo is absolutely stunning. In unit laundry was very handy. The property is beautiful with tons of bonus amenities (pool, shuffle board, bocci ball, tennis etc). Located right on a sandy beach. By far the nicest place we stayed between several islands throughout the duration of our trip. Fantastic value for the price. Would recommend 100%!!!

The owners of this condo not only take a personal investment in customer care, but they have also put a very personal touch to the condo itself. Hand-painted wall murals, personal leis for the guests, and a very well-stocked kitchen. The owners have really thought it through! The grounds are fabulous and the views are amazing. This was our first visit to Maui and from the time we walked through the condo door to strains of Hawaiian music we felt right at home. We rented last minute, and Marty was great at helping us make the same-day reservation and get checked in. He's 1 of the best hosts I've had on VRBO.
The condo is incredibly clean and well stocked with dishes, towels, outlets, grill tongs, other necessities, plus lots of beach and pool items, games, books and more. The complex is very well kept and beautiful and the people we met were so nice. Important to us, it's very calm and quiet there which enhanced our visit. Be sure to walk on the beach and watch the sea turtles near shore and kite surfers on a windy day.
I cannot recommend this condo enough. It is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing Maui vacation!

We really enjoyed our time, but the AC being defunct in the main room meant that it was warmer. Bedroom AC worked so was able to sleep. The kitchen was well appointed and very functional. Decor was lovely.

This property has a balcony with a gorgeous view of the sunset. It also has a pool, hot tub, tennis courts and other facilities. It felt like a nice resort. We had a wonderful experience there and would highly recommend this property. The apartment also has everything you could need, beach towels, body boards and other toys, coolers, etc.

The unit was immaculate, the property was ideal, great pool, incredible ocean view, lovely grounds with beautiful plants, trees and grassy areas. Ample parking was available no matter what time were returned. Location was excellent, a short drive to Kihei shopping, restaurants and beaches.
The unit was fantastic. Kitchen had all kinds of equipment, pots and pans, dishes and bowls. There were 2 ac units, one in bedroom and one in main area, but because of the trade winds we enjoyed the fresh breezes and did not need to use the ac, in June! The condo had quiet times from 10 pm to 8 am and there was peace and quiet all night. We hope to return to this unit.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Maui Sunset! It was a great location in Kihei fairly close to food and many beaches. The condo itself was clean and well stocked (towels, kitchen supplies/utensils, beach things, coolers, etc.), with a nice deck viewing the ocean. The property was comfortable and well kept. We enjoyed the outdoor live music on Wednesday night, availability of concierge, well kept grounds (pool, grills, outdoor games, gym, etc.), and the close beach access. Check in and check out was easy (though the office is closed on the weekends). We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing this beautiful property!

So hard to leave this wonderful room. This was the 4th spot we stayed on our 2 week vacation and easily one of our favorites. The room is beautifully decorated and updated. Kitchen is well stocked and has everything you could possibly need. Chairs, boogie board, beach towels and ice chest were so great to have. We absolutely loved the resort and huge open grass areas. Took full advantage of the pool, shuffleboard, bocce ball and croquet. Will definitely be back. Mahalo for such a wonderful stay.

This was a beautifully cleaned and decorated condominium with plenty of room for my husband and myself. With a sofa sleeper in the living room there would be space for another person or two young children to potentially sleep as well. The view from the 3rd floor lanai was gorgeous, a perfect place to sip your morning coffee or even eat a meal with the table and 4 chairs. There is a full bathroom in the master and in the hallway is another bathroom with shower as well. Plenty of beach chairs and towels in the closet. Even umbrellas and ice chests. We would definitely choose to come back to this lovely condo in the future.

We loved every minute of our stay! The little touches like Hawaiian Music playing upon our arrival was very welcoming. The wall murals were beautiful. We explored a different beach each day so it was wonderful to have the beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, pool noodles, coolers to take along for the day. We enjoyed our meals on the lanai. The condo is stocked with just about everything you need for a beach vacation. The kitchen is also well equipped so you can cook if you want. Great view of the ocean and good location for music on Wednesdays. Like the third floor and was happy to learn there was an elevator for bringing in and taking out suitcases.
The condo is clearly well cared for and maintained. The cleaning crew does a fabulous job as everything was spotless- for once my husband didn't have to do any extra cleaning to get it up to his standards. It also looked like a new AC in the bedroom which worked great for sleeping. We would definitely stay here again.

IT IS STEPS FROM THE BEACH. THE VIEW FROM OUR ROOM WAS INCREDIBLE.
Every morning I woke up I got coffee and walked to the beach to wake up watching the Sea Turtles, the waves, and the tiny crabs. It truly was a slice of heaven.
The place was just as described and more! The ambiance was beautiful, the decor was wonderfully updated.
It was a perfect condo for our family. We had 2 boys who slept on the pull out hide a bed. 11 &12 years old. It had 2 bathrooms which was perfect.
There was boogie boards, beach chairs, several beach coolers. Thank you so much for providing these!
The location was PERFECT. Kihei is a beautiful town, more low key than some of the big resort towns. It had great beaches and was centrally located to do everything. A Starbucks close by. The fish tacos at Coconuts are a MUST.
Parking is great. The stall are small, but the same as ALL parking places in Hawaii.
The condo kitchen had EVERYTHING. A Keurig (which isn't in the listing- so I was pleasantly surprised) We cooked most meals in and I was grateful for all the comforts of home. Including spices!
The bed was super comfortable and the dimmer candles & motion lights were an adorable added touch (I have to know where you got them! I loved them! )
I could not recommend this owner or this condo any more. Not every condo in Maui Sunset is as beautifully updated and well kept up as Marty's. We stayed with several other groups and ours may not have as big, but it was by far THE BEST! He takes pride in his condo and you can tell. :)
Marty was kind and helpful from start to finish. He was patient as we rebooked in 2020 and answered the million questions I has as a worried traveler after Covid hit. He was so kind and truly cared.
Look so further... book with Marty! I can not wait to come back and stay again :)

Located in Kihei right on the beach we got to experience the best of both worlds, a wonderful view of the ocean and sunsets from the property and the down to earth neighborhood of the town of Kihei. Every time we went to a restaurant or store it felt more like a small town friendly atmosphere than a resort community. The property is very well maintained with a golf course like lawn, mature trees, a great sized pool area, all only steps from the beach. The unit has a great view of all this and is very comfortable and well equiped.

I fell in love with this listing because of the photos and it did not disappoint! I walked in the front door and immediately saw the listing photos come to life. Having travelled to dozens of countries across four continents, I have never come across a place like this one where such great care was taken in providing amenities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and had everything we needed. The insulated backpack, beach bag, chairs and other beach equipment also came in very handy. We enjoyed playing the board games provided while relaxing in the condo. And, the view from the balcony is awesome. I would love to stay here again.
