Very much enjoyed the condo at Mauna Lani Terrace. Unit was well equipped and there was a lovely gift basket when we arrived. We walked everyday on the numerous walking trails, swam in the pool and at the beach and enjoyed the lanai morning and evening with coffee or glass of wine. I would highly recommend this unit and we are already talking about a return visit.

This property is in a great location - walking distance to a private beach and restaurant in addition to the restaurants offered at the Mauna Lani Hotel and a very short drive to the shops. The view from the lanai is beautiful and it’s one of the few units that has comfortable outdoor seating to soak up the ocean view. You will have just a 30 second walk to the pool!
It’s incredibly well stocked and Phil was so helpful.

The property was beautiful and was perfect for our family of 4. Easy walk to the pool, where the children spent most of their time. Lovely dinners on the porch watching the children play on the grass. Owner was very accommodating with our schedule changes and responsive to all communications. I cannot think of a bad word to say. Perfect for us!

I spent countless hours researching properties. I’m so glad we decided on this one. The Location within the Mauna Lani resort community cannot be beat You can walk to two beautiful beaches and close five minute drive to a great snorkeling beach within the community. You have access to the Mauna Lani resort and amenities: beach, cushioned chaise lounge chairs on sand. pool, restaurants. Condo is fully stocked with supplies and even has lotion, sunscreen, shampoo and conditioners in each bathroom. Full cabinet of beach supplies (chairs, towels, boogie boards, snorkeling gear. It truly feels like a home away from home.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay here. The location was perfect -- a few steps away to the pool, a small beach straight ahead beyond the fish ponds, the hotel beach a short walk to the right, and the beach club a short walk to the left. The resort atmosphere was peaceful and serene, although they had plenty of activities available. This particular unit was remarkably well stocked and comfortable. We had a small hiccup when checking in due to a scheduling miscommunication, but it was addressed quickly and kindly.

The rental was extremely well stocked and clean when we arrived. Arrival and parking was easy. The host was very helpful and communicative before and during our stay. The unit is walking distance one way to a small safe beach with a lunch and dinner restaurant and the other way it is very easy to walk to the Mauna Lani hotel which had multiple excellent restaurants and an awesome view of the sunset. The back of the unit opens up on the ground level and is very close to the communal pool/bbq area which has a great pool, hot tub and kiddie pool. We were worried that maybe it was too close and might be noisy but that was not an issue at all. We wanted to mention just so people who might have mobility issues know there are steps going from the parking lot down to the entrance of the condo. Overall it was a perfect place for our small family to stay and I see why there are so many wonderful reviews of this place. Mahalo!

Rarely have we found a vacation rental that was better then the description, but this place was exactly that. Pool, beach access, beach club, fish ponds were all just outside our lanai. The condo is nicely furnished and stocked with everything you could possibly want/need. The grocery & restaurants are within walking distance, or a short drive. So our rental car stayed parked most of the time, and we thoroughly enjoyed all that the property had to offer. We will absolutely return if available again.

This was our second time staying at Phil's condo and we absolutely love it. Spent all of our time at the pool, swimming in the ocean and going on walks. We were even lucky enough to get some waves during our stay. We have been to the big island many times so this trip was all about staying in one place and relaxing. Access to multiple beaches, beautiful walks / ponds and having the condo on the ground level makes this place such a gem!

We loved the property and the location at Mauna Lani Terraces. What a great spot - between the Auberge hotel and the beach club with two cute beaches to choose between, great snorkeling, and several excellent restaurants. The unit was the best stocked of any place we’ve ever rented. We so appreciated all the of the beach towels and chairs and toys. The only critique I’d make was the the two full bathrooms are relatively outdated (and the primary bathroom shower could use a good cleaning). Minor issue though! Mahalo to Phil for a great stay and his flexibility in letting us hang a little longer until heading to the airport. We had a wonderful time!

We enjoyed this Mauna Lani Terrace condo very much. It was steps from the pool and has a huge lanai that was furnished perfectly. Walking around the fish ponds was delightful and walking out to sunset was a must each evening. We would definitely rent this property again.

This Terrace unit is clean, great view, and generously supplied with the essentials. It was great to arrive and find the place stocked with plenty of bottled water, TP, clothes and dish detergents, and enormous stacks of clean towels. There was even a welcome basket of fresh fruit and a bag of coffee. The beds are comfortable.
It’s a short walk over to two of the best snorkel beaches on the Big Island.

Clean and stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and laundry, etc. Comfortable beds, plenty of clean towels, first floor location served us well, beautiful view, easy walk to the hotel for wedding festivities, and texts answered swiftly when we had questions. One thing we found tricky was the tub/shower combination. Keeping water from splashing outside the tub was a challenge.

It is a short walk to the Mauna Lani Hotel, to swim, snorkel, or dine. Also, it was a short walk to the Mauna Lani Beach Club, to do the same. Restaurants in both directions were great.
I also liked the fact that I could walk out the sliders, and ride my bike without having to carry it up and down the stairs. The Cycling from the location is safe as it is close to the Ironman bike course.

The location is fabulous….great access to beach, pool, Auberge restaurants, etc.
A couple of concerns with this particular listing….first, the unit advertised is NOT the unit you stay in. It is listed as 103 but when you arrive you are told long term renter (we never saw them) in 103 and are put in 102. Second, the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry are DATED. Appliances are all 20+, dryer does not dry well, etc. Cockroaches were in kitchen within hours of check in (previous guests warned us on their way out as well). Fitness center mentioned in listing is available….for a rather significant fee for the week (which we paid….beautiful fitness center). Message left with Phil to discuss these concerns was not returned.

The Mauna Lani Terraces are in the perfect location for being near the ocean as well as the fish ponds. Now that the nearby hotel has been fully renovated there are more close by restaurants and even a market to pick up sandwiches, pizza, and smoothies. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen and we were able to cook several times with all the bakeware etc. needed. The decor is quite well-done. The only issue we'd say is the mattresses are quite hard and need to be upgraded to memory foam or at least pillow tops for them. We'll definitely be back.

Perfect location and one of the best stocked units I have rented! Everything you would need for the pool or beach (chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, boogie boards, fins and masks and coolers! Kitchen is very well stocked with equipment and cooking supplies. Tons of towels, cleaning products and even some first aid supplies. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Phil was extremely responsive during booking and throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!

note: The kitchen has some older appliances (oven), but that’s very minor compared to all the positives about this property. We would love to stay here again!

We have been to Mauna Lani a number of times and love the location of the Mauna Lani Terraces. We prefer the ground floor so as to have easy access to exit to beaches, pools... The unit was a bit dated, but very clean and well stocked. We had a small issue an they had someone there same day to fix the issues.

Beautiful property and great location to everything! It was clean and it was nicely decorated. The owner had even left a basket of fruit for us, which we greatly appreciated after traveling! All in all, it was a nice unit and I've rented several different ones over the years. Happy to rent it again in the future!

We have stayed at the Mauna Lani resort many times over the last 10 years, but always at the hotel. This experience completely changed my mind. A complete condo with the amenities of home, make this a perfect Hawaiian experience. The resort is available, but you get the privacy and relaxation of a homeowner. And the condo has all of the following: Beach toys, a wonderful view, easy pool and parking access, shopping and everything you need for your stay. Bring your clothes and a desire to relax……everything else is taken care of. Mahalo Phil, we loved our stay.

What a wonderful condo in paradise. The location was perfect (steps to a very nice community pool & swimming beach), comfortable beds, beautiful furniture, & a well stocked kitchen. What especially impressed me was the little touches...flashlights in the hall closet for night walks, sunscreen & personal care items/bandaids (in case of emergency), nice tv's in all rooms. Thank you for a terrific stay. We will most definitely be back!

Condo is well appointed with three lovely lanais. Beds were comfortable and twin room/bath provided our teens with a separate space, although we spent most of our time outdoors. We enjoyed the historic fishponds and loved that we could walk to the Beach Club for lunch and a swim and Mauna Lani and Fairmont beaches/restaurants. Excellent stay!

Very clean and comfortable condominium with great ground level access to the beach's, pool and sunset. More than enough room spread out and relax. The built-in cooking appliances and the cookware could be updated. The water pressure in the master was less than the other parts of the unit and the toilet continuously ran no matter how many the handle was jiggled. This unit is great and we would book it again in a heartbeat. Plenty of towels, beach gear, quiet and beautiful. Not a disappointment.

There are lots of Mauna Lani Terrace apartments on this site, so you probably already know that the location is fantastic and the access to the hotel's lagoon is great. What makes this apartment stand out from the others is two things. First, it's the closest to the pool. Maybe 50 steps. Because it's on the ground floor, you can just walk out to the pool or the ocean. The 2nd big diferentiator is the property manager, Phil Parker. We had a few minor problems and questions during our stay and Phil was incredibly responsive. There's also going to be a new stovetop in the unit, which is great. This is a great place.
