We were very comfortable in this large home that had a gorgeous view. You can tell the owners use it regularly because it is well stocked with all the things you may need. We had some complications with our travel and timeline and they were very kind and supportive. The view is really incredible, and my son loved being in the pool everyday. Two of the rooms have mini splits which made nights cooler, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The quantity of snorkeling and beach gear was impressive! You really don’t need to bring much of that. We enjoyed daily walks in the neighborhood including a local walking trail where we met a lot of the neighbors. Our age ranges were 6-74 and everyone enjoyed it. We did pay a nominal fee to heat the pool even warmer than it already was because we’re wimps. Well worth it!
Basically it’s a great house and you’ll be happy here!

Beautiful, comfortable home with everything you need. We had mixed ages and the size and condition of property is excellent. Comfy beds and amazing lanai with breathtaking views! Took a sunset photo each evening and each one was different and amazing! Decor is "tropical" and attractive. We grilled in 2 nights, ate out a few nights and ordered Door dash too. Pool is awesome and plenty of towels/toys as well as a selection of beach supplies too. We found the 2 porta cribs useful though no high chair (as was in the amenities listed) but we brought a camp chair for the 8 mo old which worked great. The breeze and ceiling fans helped keep everyone cooled. Lots of bananagrams at the large dining table. :) Would definitely stay here again (convenient location too) if we are blessed enough to be able to! Mahalo !

The home is spacious and well equipped. The pool area comfortable with plenty of seating. A bonus having chairs to take to the beach for those needing a seat. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking with an array of appliances plus a BBQ. We had 7 people and never felt crowded. It was nice to be in a neighborhood and close to beaches.

Jon & Jackie were absolutely amazing hosts! Communication was very timely, and Jackie went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was the best it could possibly be. The house couldn’t have been any more perfect to celebrate our 25th anniversary with our grown children and their spouses/so’s. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us to enjoy meals, games and pool time together, but we also had room to wind down privately when necessary. I could go on and on about how wonderful this home is, but you should check it out for yourself! We had 3 separate family’s , and the house fit all of our needs. Really appreciated having access to the snorkel and beach gear. Kitchen so organized and we were able to make full meals each night. Highly recommend Sea Paradise company for a night time snorkel. It is 4.4 miles from the house and the crew was amazing.
Jon and Jackie were so available before and during our stay, probably appreciate that the most. Highly recommend renting this beautiful location,

We are so happy we found this home! I looked for 8 months to find a vacation home in Kona, Hawaii and this home was perfect. Close to everything! Beautiful home, fantastic view! My daughter did Instacart from Costco and Safeway! Everything was perfect! Also the Manta Rays were quite the experience! You must go and see them yourselves! Many thanks to Jon and Jackie! The house is beautiful! Wonderful outdoor spaces and such a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It’s in a perfect location to get to all the highlights on the Kona side of the island.
This was a family vacation with 8 of us staying in the house, plenty of space for everyone and great common areas for all of us to get together for meals.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in this area of Hawaii.

The house was perfect! It had everything we needed. Very well-stocked and well maintained. View was spectacular. Location could not have been better - 10 min from most of our activities: snorkeling, surfing, ATV riding, beaches. Luau. Jon and Jackie were great hosts-very responsive every time we had a question and went out of their way with helpful suggestions about things to do. We stayed with our adult children and their SOs (all in their early 20s) and it was the perfect place to hang out together but also retreat to their own rooms when they wanted. Everyone had an excellent time. Highly recommend!!

My family and I recently stayed at Jon and Jackie's amazing Hawaiian vacation house and it was everything we could have asked for and more! The house was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our family of seven.
The location was perfect - nestled in a quiet neighborhood just a short drive from some of the island's best beaches and attractions. We loved being able to explore everything the Big Island had to offer, then come back to the peaceful oasis of our vacation house.
One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking view from the house. We woke up every day to the sight of the ocean and ended each day with a gorgeous sunset. It was truly a sight to behold and made our vacation all the more memorable.
The house itself was beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchen and plenty of linens and towels. We especially loved the outdoor living area and pool, where we could relax and enjoy the gorgeous Hawaiian weather.
One of the best parts of our stay was our dealings with Jon and Jackie, the property owners, who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful time. They were always available to answer any questions we had and provided us with great recommendations for local activities and restaurants.
Overall, we had an incredible vacation at this Kona vacation house and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a comfortable and convenient home base with a stunning view for their Hawaii adventure.

This was a terrific trip for our family. We travelled with our 9 month old son and my brother and his wife with their 3 year old daughter. The house had everything we needed. Overall the stay was good. The house was clean and user friendly. There is only AC and it is in the mater bedroom. Because of the breeze it is bearable. As everyone else has noted the views are excellent. Not far from restaurants and shopping.
One of the area neighbors was a bit on the rude side. I was standing out front waiting on my family and was stared down. Did not bother me just kept moving on. If you need ADA access look elsewhere it would be a challenge for getting in and out of the house from the drive way. Several personal vehicles parked at the house as well.
Again, overall great house, great stay and good hospitality. My family was quite pleased with the house.

The views from the house were absolutely spectacular! The house was a wonderful base camp for all our excursions and it was close to everything we needed. We had an amazing time at this house. The views of the sunset are incredible, so much so that we tried to be at home every evening to see it. House was very spacious and in a quiet neighborhood and in a good location for day excursions. The house has great locations to hang out with friends inside and outside on upper and lower decks. This was the second house we stayed at on the island. The other house was a bit newer but this one was just as nice. We really loved the pool, views and location of this house. Neighbors here were a lot better than the neighbors at our first house too. You will never get over the views from the back of the house. Watched the sunset while in the pool on the last day was the best thing ever! Hosts were very helpful and willing to make sure we were always having a great time!

Lovely relaxing house with plenty of room to spread out. Great kitchen, we cooked almost every night so as not to miss the amazing sunset view from the lanai! The pool was great to come back to after adventures. Owners have thought of almost everything: coolers, beach chairs, binoculars, guide books etc and are very responsive if you run into any issues. This property worked out perfectly for our family of 2 parents and 3 20's year olds. We appreciated the kitchen stocked with every cooking item we needed and the space to spread out on both floors. Every morning we would have coffee and breakfast on the lanai looking out over the ocean and we'd watch the sunset there every night. Having so many bathrooms was helpful for our group and the beds were comfortable. The house has lots of regular towels, beach towels, beach toys, chairs, etc. Very nice!

Truly exceptional! Everything we could possibly need while on our thrice-postponed large family vacation in paradise (linens, towels, beach and ocean equipment, kitchen-wear, coolers, etc). Rented this home and one next door for our large group of 14. Adjoining gate in pool areas made mingling easy. Sweeping ocean views, comfortable accommodations all around set us up for a great stay. Located in a quiet neighborhood, respecting noise levels is expected - hope the Marco Polo games weren't too annoying!

This is a beautiful property located in a very central location in Kona. Close to beaches, shopping, food, etc. Very spacious and amazing views. Great place to sit and view the sunset if the sky is clear. Pool is clean and big. Kitchen is great and they have a lot of items to borrow for a day at the beach. all four rooms are big and comfortable. This is located in Kona so it's about 90-120 minute drive to get to other locations in the Island so plan your day accordingly.

This place is amazing....
The view from the Lana is breathtaking both morning and evening! We even caught a complete double rainbow....all within our line of sight from the deck.
The pool and pool deck were an absolute blast, providing entertainment and enjoyment for those days we decided not to go out at all.
The spacious kitchen and grill provided us an awesome way to eat from home when we wanted. We grilled steak and fish 3 nights and ate take-out on the Lanai 3 nights and also hit a couple great restaurants...Umeke's and Fish Hopper.
But what made this place worth 10 stars are the owners! Jackie and Jon were so responsive and attentive to our needs before and during the stay. My family literally want to rent this place for a month in the next few years!
In short, this place has ruined us for going anywhere else....nothing can compare to the luxury, location, view, convenience, value, and service that this place offers!

Wonderful vacation rental right in the heart of the Kailua-Kona area. Our family explored the Big island with so many beaches so close to visit. Great snorkeling beach was just minutes away; it was convenient to have beach chairs and snorkel gear to borrow. We enjoyed quality time on the lanai and amazing sunsets nightly. This home was everything. Immaculate, well furnished, and it had everything needed for the comforts of home. We have been to the Big Island multiple times, so this time was more about relaxing than trying to see everything. The view, pool, sunrises, sunsets, and quiet neighborhood made it seem like we never needed to even leave. It was a holiday weekend, so very busy downtown Kona and at the beaches. We enjoyed the beautiful ocean views and the cool breeze at this home. We were traveling with our adult son and my parents in their mid 70s. It was nice that my parents had the whole bottom level to theirselves! We were allowed to check in early which was really nice. We did a lot of snorkeling. Captain Cook monument is not to be missed! We did have an issue with the VRBO next door that was quite noisy a few nights. We reached out to the owners and they were quiet after that. The pool was awesome. The one recommendation I would have for the kitchen is to provide a French press for coffee.

From the moment we parked our rental car, we were excited and amazed at our good fortune in finding this house! It is beautiful, inside and out, and has everything one needs for a fabulous vacation! The pictures are very accurate, but they still don't capture the beauty of the property and surroundings. The lanai was my favorite place..whether drinking coffee, planning the day, eating dinner, napping, or watching the sunset. It was easy to get to the water, shops and highway. We used their beach towels, snorkels and water shoes. We also cooked breakfast a couple of times, finding everything we needed. It was very clean and in good taste. The owners take much care in ensuring a great stay. We did not want for anything. Well, except more time to enjoy this wonderful place. The house has everything you could possibly need on your stay, the furnishings are tasteful and modern and the view and pool are amazing. Our kids love to see the geckos in their familiar spots every day:-)

Read everyone's 5 star reviews and multiply them by 10. We spent Christmas week at this house and it was perfect. My wife and I, our two adult kids and her dad - all totally enjoyed staying here. The only problem we had was that it was so comfortable and the views so great that we didn't want to go anywhere else. We had to kind of force ourselves to go out and be tourists. And the pool is just a super bonus. Owners = very concerned you have a great time. It's just all great.

I have seen pictures and read the reviews, when searching for a house. The pictures are accurate but the house is so much more in person!! The Ocean view from the Lanai, or really any spot in the house, is absolutely AMAZING!!!
When I come back( because I definitely plan on coming back) I will definitely be staying here again.
My family and I, travel a lot. We have rented our fair share of houses. Jon by far is the best landlord that I have ever rented from. He answers emails punctually and efficiently. He went above and beyond my expectations.

A perfect vacation! We rented this home last week and can't stop talking about it. The views are just stunning and the house had everything you could possibly need. They had all the beach supplies like boogie boards, snorkel equipment, beach towles, and beach chairs. The house was immaculate and in a great neighborhood. The kitchen contained all the dishes/glasses/pans/equipment for our family to enjoy meals together—even water bottles for our excursions. Jon, the owner, was extremely helpful and courteous, and a pleasure to work with. We would absolutely return with our family—and maybe even just the two of us!
