My wife and I had an amazing stay at this home! It was well kept, had all the essentials, and even offered beach chairs, beach umbrella, and boogie boards. A 5 min walk to the beach made for some great sunset watching. And the neighboring stores and restaurants were a great bonus. Would recommend staying at this location, the host was easy to communicate with and offered some great recommendations too for the area!

The pool is just steps from the back door. The complex is very well maintained and kept very clean. Our stay was fantastic! The spot is amazing and very close to the beach & way more charming than Kaanapali beach which is more of a resort commercial place. The appartment was so well equipped we didn’t have to purchase anything.
The only minor problem had was the door which was very stubborn. We got very lucky that Ivanka was there to help us when we arrived because we didn’t have cellphone service and if she wouldn’t have been present we may have to had to sleep in the car but other than that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great time in Maui!

This condo has all the cooking needs you need, close to the beaches, very clean. We loved the back porch to sit every morning and evening, the pool is very refreshing so close to the condo. We loved that laundry was just across the hall and cheap and she even has laundry pods! I found anything we forgot like sunscreen, laundry soap, even coffee they had available. Those little touches mean so much! All the beach add one you can use such as cooled, boogie boards, snorkel and fins, and beach chairs added so much to our vacation!
We bought at Costco on the first day and cooked most breakfasts and made coffee and packed lunches to save money. Having the kitchen is a game changer!
Only thing was frustrating was the front key pad was very finicky and didn’t want to work probably locking or unlocking a lot of the time but maybe it just needs a new battery. Property manger was so good at getting back to us right away and staying in contact.

We have stayed in many places in Kihei.This apartment was close to many attractions in Kihei and we felt like we were locals for the week we stayed. The unit is across from the pool and BBQ which was perfect for us. We walked to South Maui Gardens for coffee/tea most mornings, the surf shop to rent boards, and later to dinner. My husband, our 15 year old, and I had a great stay at Karen’s perfect landing pad. In 4 way-too-short-days we enjoyed the beach, the pool, lunch in Lahaina, the Road to Hana, and so much more.
Coming back to Karen's place at the end of the day was perfection. Everything we needed and more. The kind bed was beyond comfortable, our son was comfy on the pull out, the kitchen was the perfect size with everything we needed including filtered water in the fridge.
I’ll miss the quiet mornings on the patio with my coffee and book with birds singing good morning.
The beach is a very short walk away. We saw whales and turtles each day we were there. If you’re parked at the beach for the day, it’s easy to grab lunch or beverages across the street. The surf shop is also nearby across from the Cove.
Karen made checking in and out a breeze and was so welcoming with her tips and suggestions. She is a lovely host and we would love to be her guests again. Mahalo!

We stayed in this condo for several days in December. We absolutely loved this place. It is very beautifully decorated and very private. We enjoyed lunches on the lanai, it is shaded and very quiet, it is probably the best location of a condo in this complex because it is facing the yard and the pool. it was very easy and pleasant to communicate with the owner. We loved the apartment! The location was perfect for all the driving we did, and it's a short 4 minute walk to one of the better beaches on the island. This condo has everything you’ll ever think of needing. It is fully stocked with kitchen supplies, beach necessities, etc. My new fiancé (we got engaged this trip!!) absolutely loved this condo - and will definitely be staying here in our future Maui vacations. Very clean property as well, laundry facilities were easy to use, and we made breakfast in the condo almost every morning. Truly wonderful! We never went in the pool, however it did look nice and clean. One thing that we would request would be a smart TV in the bedroom, there is one in the living room - but there’s just something about kicking back and watching Netflix in bed after a long day in the sun and water. Overall, amazing stay at this condo, and the hosts were very responsive and attentive. Mahalo!

We really loved staying here. It was a few blocks to the beach, and the beach is amazing. It is also a short walk to the town of Kihei, which has some great local restaurants, food trucks, shops, and more. We thought it felt more authentic than other parts of the island. The place is well equipped, and we did not need anything. It was easy to check in and I appreciated a keyless entry. Overlooking the pool was nice and made it easy to go for a swim at night. The place is clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable. It was worth having a kitchen and a place to sit, versus being in a hotel room. Great stay and highly recommend.

What a great condo! The location was phenomenal, and Karen was easy to communicate with. We loved that so many items were provided, including beach towels, plenty of snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and all the kitchen equipment and appliances you might need.
We stayed for 10 nights and the bed was super comfortable. Lots of vacation naps were enjoyed!
The air conditioning in the main area of the condo was plenty cold, and the large standing fan in the bedroom kept everything cool and comfortable.
We didn’t use any of the laundry facilities during our stay, but the laundry room is very close to the unit.
Parking was perfect! There is an assigned stall for the unit and it was very close.
One of the best perks of the location is being directly across from a beautiful beach. It was a quick 5 minute walk down to the water and the sunsets were breathtaking.
Some things not to miss… the Maui Gold Pineapple tour, the Road to Hana (we recommend hiring a tour company to do the driving—it was worth it), and seeing the sunrise at Haleakala. We also loved Mama’s Fish House (get reservations 6 months in advance. It’s expensive but SO worth it) and the poké at Tamura’s (yes, is a liquor store but the poké was awesome).

This was a quickly planned "pivot" trip after a big trip was cancelled. I booked AHuiHo on a Tuesday with plans to arrive Thursday for eight nights. I lucked out because this stylish one bedroom had its own cancellation. Communication was swift and easy, the place was sparkling clean (thank you Ivanka!) and the bed was the most comfortable one I've ever enjoyed (name of the mattress, pretty please?). That was my first impression on entering. The living room opens on a private, cozy balcony, screened from the inner courtyard by wonderful tropical trees. I could live there.
The condo is beautifully renovated, spotless, cozy and well equiped: internet, A/C, coffee grinder, toaster, gas stove, you name it. Also: body boards, beach chairs... You can walk to be beach in 5mn and to restaurants and shops in 5-10mn. It has a swimming pool and a parking space, if you rent a car for farther trips on the island. I wish I was still there.

This Kihei apartment was so lovely! We really enjoyed our stay here! It is in a great location, only a short walk to the beach and a lot of great restaurants. The apartment was super comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the host decked it out with lots of helpful touches like beach chairs, extra beach towels, etc. The pool in the middle of the complex was really pretty and a great place to relax. The host was really responsive and easy to communicate with. All in all a wonderful stay! Would definitely stay here again!

The condo was perfect for what my boyfriend and I needed during our trip to Maui. The condo was well stocked with everything in the kitchen as well as bathroom and items for the beach. It was also very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The living room was a little dark but you most likely won’t be spending too much time inside anyway as the lanai was a perfect place to hang out when at the property. Check in/ check out was also so simple and Karen sent us super detailed directions prior to our stay. Location was great, it was about an 8 minute walk to Kihei Kalama Village which has a bunch of shops and restaurants/ bars. Also right across the street is access to Charlie Young Beach. Definitely a different vibe than the resort areas so was a nice change of pace to do a resort first and then this condo!

The apartment complex was perfect as it was in a neighborhood 3 mins from the bustle of mains street of Kihei, but very calm and chill at the apartment. The central pool is surrounded by pretty palm trees and plants and the patio looks right out to the pool/grounds and is a great place to start and end the day. The apartment was clean and comfortable with small touches that were so helpful; sarongs to use, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, coffee filters, cooler packs, wine glasses, very well supplied kitchen and ole ray of space to unwind with big comfortable king bed and two couches (both turn into beds), small table and chairs inside and on patio. Also, host communication with our host, Karen and the folks at the apartment complex. My daughters and I didn't want to leave.

We had an amazing time staying in this condo on Maui. The unit is a beautiful and provided everything we needed. We loved sitting out in the lanai in the morning drinking coffee and listening to the tropical birds while surrounded by palm trees and lush greenery. The condo is very roomy for a one bedroom and we utilized both the pull out couch and the pull our chair that turns into a twin size bed. Both were amazingly comfortable. The unit provides snorkeling gear, boogie boards, towels, beach chairs, and a cooler! There was also coffee and lillikoi drinks in the fridge when we arrived. Not to mention a few other treats they had waiting for us :) The pool at the complex was great to have and the beach is only a few blocks away. Downtown Kihei is a close walk as well. Overall we had an amazing experience and we're so happy to call this condo "home base" for our week. We can't wait to come back!

Clean, well-kept apartment and outdoor pool/bbq. Parking is easy and close. Owner was great to stay in contact with and very helpful. A short, easy walk to town or the beach. Lots of great restaurants and bars nearby, including Paia Fish Market and Sansei. Neighbors were quiet and polite.

We stayed 2 weeks and had a great stay. The resident manager was very helpful when we could not get the door to the laundry open. He also was very helpful when we needed to unclog the bathroom sink. The condo was supplied with just about everything we needed for our entire stay (except for toilet paper). It was clean and all the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra linens. The air conditioner was a plus! The location could not have been more perfect for us for walking to the beach and shopping and night life. We truly enjoyed our first visit to Maui!

We loved the location of this condo as it was very centrally located in Kihei and near the beach. Sadly, the kitchen was infested with bugs /0: and the on-island contact was not available to help. Luckily, the owner Karen was very kind and gracious and easy to work with. She comped us a night for our troubles and called the building manager to find out the source of the bugs. We were able to somewhat manage them with ant/roach spray but it's not really what you want to be doing on a vacation. I'm sure it will be sorted out soon--it just happened to be us that it occurred with.

My family and I had a great stay at Kalama Terrace! The one bedroom condo had everything we needed and the few issues we had, were taken care of immediately by Jaimie the property manager. My little girl loved the single pull-out bed while I enjoyed the queen pull-out and slept quite good, even with my bad back (the bedroom was reserved for my wife and boy). The lanai faced the pool, which was nice to watch my wife and girl swim in the afternoon while the boy slept. We had a few extremely humid days (38C with humidex) which we definitely put the portable AC through its paces. Everything we needed to cook meals at home and some beach toys were a great asset. A short walk to "Charley Young" and "Kamaole" beaches are the best part. (note: cross at Maui Vista and you can walk the entire beach until the restaurants). There is no better place to be, than in Kihei! Until next time...

You will enjoy your stay here. We ate "in" or bbq'd on-site for nearly all meals. There is a nice selection of basic spices to use along with a well stocked kitchen. The blender is slow blending ice for pina colada's but who's in a hurry when on Maui anyway? It is located within walking distance to almost everything. The complex is quiet, well-maintained and there wasn't an availability issue sharing the laundry room when the need arose. It was a beautiful 2 weeks... Sigh, until next time. Aloha!
