Really enjoyed staying in this unit. Complex is nicely situated and amentities are great - enjoyed the bbqs, tennis courts and the grounds. Unit was very comfortable and spacious. Having 2 bathrooms was a real bonus.

Condo was in very nice upgraded condition and it was clean. Good value for the price point. Stayed here as a couple with 3 young adult sons all over 6 ft tall. Was definitely a tight fit, the hide-a-bed is closer to a double bed size than a queen. Would suggest staying with 5 people only if some were kids.All appliances worked well, plenty of pots, pans, cups, cutlery, etc. In-house laundry was very nice and worked well.Bedroom is a nice size, bathrooms were small and the bathroom in the bedroom is little dated but rest of condo was clearly updated in recent years.View from lanai onto grounds was beautiful with a glimpse of the ocean, however, the sun shines on this side of the building from morning until sundown so I found it too hot to spend more than a few minutes on the lanai - depends if you are a sunlover or appreciate some shade. The other side of the building had shade all day. Pool area is nice and was well kept. Only one umbrella table at pool so again no shade by the pool.Nice and quiet property overall, felt very safe the whole time. Air conditioning worked very well in bedroom, not as effective in living room but still cooled enough to sleep. Beach is beautiful for a walk and watching sunset. Beach right in in front of Maui Sunset has a some washed up (hardened) coral so you will likely require aqua socks to go in water here and have to keep an eye out for rocks when walking on beach with bare feet but still very beautiful beach just not really a swimming or boogie boarding beach. Beach gets quite nice though a very short walk along the beach to the south with lots of turtles regularly in the water.Overall it was a great place and a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our well equipped unit that had 2 bathrooms. It was suitable for 2 people. But could accommodate 4. I loved the community garden with fresh herbs, kale, garlic and mint. We were able to harvest some. The grounds were very nice, and they worked daily to clean things up. The neighbor below needed to be reminded that quiet time was 10pm to 8am. Their childern were out at 7am, and way too loud. They did abide after this reminder. I wish there was senior or adult time at the pool. Too many kids, jumping in and splashing with no control, all-day-long. I never went into the pool for this reason, and it should be comfortable for all guests. Open the pool at 9am-12pm for ADULTS only. No jumping, no screaming! Rather, courteous parenting so others can enjoy.

Lawn maintenance is always on going and well taken care of. They had items left in the condo for guests. Scuba gear, coolers, chairs and ect. Overall good experience. I have a maintenance background, fixed the garbage disposal that wasn't working and lint trap on dryer was full. No big deal, well worth the trade off for the extra items they had. Thank you

Thanks for hosting my family. The stay was flawless, we had no issue. We enjoyed the in-condo laundry and very well equipped kitchen. Parking was easy. Multiple grocery stores and food options within minutes. Condo property manager was responsive and helpful. Good overall experience.

Great condo and location. My family of 5 stayed here comfortably for a week. Instructions for check-in/check-out were clear.
Questions were answered quickly via email prior to the trip as well as while we were there.
Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our stay pleasurable!

The condo was very much as described. Good quality location and many amenities right on site including a beautiful ocean view, pool, tennis courts, bocce, shuffleboard, and grills to cook food if you want! The condo is a little on the dated side but still very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. My family of 5 had a great time - thank you!

Each room has a ceiling fan but the location of the livingroom ac and the furniture tends to block the air. Other than adding a fan, this place was perfect. Very nice inside and perfect location.

I was super impressed by the accommodations. Everything we needed and more was available in 204A.
Only recommendations is about the cleaning service and the internet. Wifi was horrible but I think it’s just Maui and it was nice to unplug but a movie in the evening or something would have been nice.
The cleaning service needs to do a better job between stays. There was other people’s clothing left in the corner on the floor by the bed and the shower in the bedroom was gross.
Oh and the shower head is set for a 4 foot person lol.
But the positive definitely outweighed the negative and we would stay here again.

My husband and I had the best time! The condo was great, clean and everything we needed for our first stay in Hawaii. Great location. Close to the beach, local shops and restaurants. The property is well taken care of and the pool and hot tub were great. The property managers are really responsive and helpful.

Maui Sunset is an older concrete condo complex but with a real sense of community. Wonderful grounds that join a municipal park that goes to the oceanfront. There are two building called the A and B buildings as indicated by the letter before the unit number. Great spot for young kids especially if renting on the ground floor as the have room to run. Two well maintained barbecue areas with 8 bbqs in total. Pool is adequate and also well maintained but can get busy at times. Within a short distance to grocery shopping at Times Market and Safeway. Beach area great for sunset watching but not great for swimming so likely best to travel to swimming beaches. 2 tennis courts and very active pickle ball courts ajoining Maui Sunset. We stayed a month and we’re very happy with our choice.
