Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaiʻi. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular pest control, but some insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal pest activity — we’ll work with the HOA to help. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.

Hawaiʻi’s tropical environment supports a variety of island wildlife, including geckos, ants, and occasional roosters. Despite regular professional pest control, these are part of normal island living. Our units are carefully cleaned and inspected, and any contact with such pests does not constitute a breach of agreement or qualify for refund or adjustment.

This first floor condo is fully equipped for a relaxing stay I. Maui. The location is excellent, across the street from Beach 3. My only suggestion is to replace the two beach chairs; one was broken and the other in very poor shape. We enjoyed the peaceful setting! The condo is very roomy for two people.

The condo is towards the front of the property and therefore a really quick walk to the beach. It has a nice lanai that overlooks the pool, but is still private. The condo is well furnished, and stocked. Although, a couple extra beach towels would have been helpful. It was unfortunate that the beach chairs were in broken condition and we had to go buy our own ias we didn’t hear back from management. We ended up offering to sell them to management, but they declined. Thankfully we were able to recoup partial amount through selling on Facebook marketplace.

The owners have given great attention to the decore of this unit. Every detail gives you a vacation feeling and at the same time makes you feel like your home. The view from the lanai is beautiful.

As described and as shown in the pictures. Location and amenities made it a good value for us. The place is a nice size and well outfitted. It was very clean. You're right by the lower pool and the beach is a short walk across the street. You are also just far enough east that you avoid the pedestrian traffic in the main part of Kihei. Times and Foodland are nearby for groceries and we read they have the better prices. The grounds around the apartment are well maintained too.
Maui is certainly back in business since devastating fire. Shortly after the fire, we reached out to ask what the respectful thing to do was and the response was that we should come. We are glad we did.

This property was wonderful! It was very clean with lovely decor. The pool & grills where right outside and the grounds were beautifully maintained. There was nice beach gear to use at the many beaches within walking distance. This was a very walkable location to restaurants and shopping. Saw whales & turtles at multiple beaches. We loved sitting on the covered patio (with shade!) with great ocean views. The property management firm was top notch and highly responsive! I would highly recommend this place!

Immaculate grounds and friendly grounds keepers.
In fact I felt welcome throughout.
I have stayed in a number of Hale Kamaole Units and now this the one I will keep coming back to. The renovations are comfortable and the unit is very well stocked.
Immediate and helpful communication with Stay Aloha Properties. They have a good support team.
