Great unit, and great host! Excellent communication and check-in/out process. We are long time Wailea visitors who have been visiting 1-2x per year for last 30 years and have stayed almost everywhere, including the various 4 and 5 star hotels along wailea as well as various vrbo rental units. Ekahi is a nice condo property with direct beach access and multiple pools built in the 70’s. The unit itself is well kept and clean and has a very nice ocean view from its Lanai ground level patio. Simone was a very nice host. While finishes and trim a bit outdated, this rental is a GREAT value for the area and the host was terrific! Note that the location is better than shown on map … at time of our booking the vrbo map listing suggested location was across Okolani further from water but unit itself is firmly in Ekahi grounds between Okolani Dr and the ocean. Pools and beach access all close and easy short walk. Highly recommend, great value.

Overall, an excellent condo that has lots of room, excellent view of the ocean, very close to the beach and pool, and also close to many restaurants and shops. Condo has a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable living room and lots of beach accessories. This is a nice condo located in a great community. Loved the lanai that overlooked the ocean. The only thing that wasn’t a 5/5, was the bed. It was comfortable, but rather small for two people.

This was our second time staying in this unit, and we love it. We love the Ekahi property -- the pool, the beach (Keawakapu), the grounds, everything. The unit is nicely done, and very comfortable. I'm sure we'll be back soon.

We enjoyed a week in this pretty, spacious, well-appointed and well-stocked unit. It contained everything we needed for our stay, including the water and sports equipment. The unit is beautifully maintained, as is the community. The pool is delightful and the community pavilion with frig, grills, shower and bath was lovely. Easy access to a nice beach. Would return again if ever in Hawail.

The condo is very nice. Some upgrades have been done but kitchen frig/cabinets, bathroom, washer/dryer areas appear to be original. The flooring and furniture was upgraded and lovely. We were concerned since there wasn’t any really hot water in the kitchen although the shower & bathroom had hot water. The kitchen water was warm after running for a long time. (We left a note about this in the condo when we left). We enjoyed our stay with the great location and ocean view. We are returning next year.

We had a fantastic stay at Ekahi Village. The unit is about 3 minutes walk to the pool and beach and has a beautiful view of the water. The property manager was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The beds and bedding were very comfortable - even the pull out. Everything in the unit was clean and well maintained. Ekahi is a well situated property and has one of the nicest beaches in Wailea. The reef off the beach was an unexpected surprise and we saw many fish and sea creatures. Thanks for the memorable stay!

This was our fifth time staying at Wailea Ekahi, and our first in this particular unit. I believe this one is our favorite! The location cannot be outdone -- it's close to the beach and the pool, but it's up just enough of a hill so you can see the ocean. The unit itself is well-cared for, and stocked with the key amenities you're going to want during your stay. The check-in process was easy, and everything we needed was provided. This is now bookmarked for any of our future Maui visits. Mahalo for hosting us!

The condo was as advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication with the host was easy, the beds were comfortable (even, surprisingly, the pull out couch mattress), and the view from the lanai was lovely! It’s a fairly short walk to the beach and main pool and we loved that the pool is right by the ocean. We never used the smaller pool near the condo because the water was too chilly. It wasn’t heated like the big pool.
The only reason I didn’t give the accommodation full stars is that we were unable to use the beach while we were there and therefore had to drive to the beach every day. The beach sand had washed out and the waves came all the way to the steps, cutting off access except when the tide was at its very lowest. Much of the time the water on the beach came all the way up to the vegetation, rendering it mostly unusable. Considering the cost of the condo, it would have been nice to use the beach, but otherwise we had a great time.
Tip: Before you head to the beach for the first time as, make sure to read the sheet on the kitchen counter - it tells you the access codes which you will need for the pool and beach gates!

Cute condo with everything you could need. Location is good with just a short walk to the pool, pickle ball courts and beach. Shops of Wailea less than a mile away. There are multiple entrances to Wailea Ekahi so I would suggest getting more specific directions for arrival. Our GPS took us to a different entrance based on the address given and we couldn’t find the condo having arrived at night and it was very dark. Property manager was incredibly helpful though. Also, look around the whole place for things available. We found the pickle ball equipment in the laundry area on our last day! Would definitely stay again!

A short walk to Keawakapu beach for great swimming and snorkeling or to the nearby pools. Easy checkin and checkout. My husband and I celebrated our 80-some birthdays with a short, impromptu visit to Maui. The Rose condo was a magical place for morning coffee on the lanai as the sun rose and the birds sang. What a gift! Simone, the caretaker, always responded promptly and helpfully to our inquiries. The condo was a perfect size and layout for us - but we did spend most of our time on the lanai - when not enjoying the pool (almost outside our door) or walking the beach. My husband snorkled and I watched giant turtles cruise close to shore. Amazing! We walked the beach path to Island Gourmet for a local's lunch and drove the Makena road to visit the old Keawala'i church and cemetery and the lava moonscape beyond that. It was a too-short but very memorable visit - and one to repeat as soon as we can! Thank you Simone and the Rose family.

First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Wailea, it offers views of the Pacific Ocean. The condo itself is clean and impeccably maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances, making it a pleasure to cook and entertain.
Wailea itself offers a plethora of dining, shopping, and outdoor adventure options, all just a short drive away.
In summary, my stay at this condo in Wailea was an excellent escape.

This quiet, private condo was the ideal location for my husband and I to enjoy 6 days with our 21 month old grandaughter. The end unit 27A was a bit higher up and secluded from other units. The large patio is surrounded by flowering shrubs and complete with comfy wicker loungers and a table with chairs with access both from the kitchen and the living room. The bedroom also has a private patio with a lounger and chair. The condo has had some updates such as a beautiful new floor throughout and a new sectional sofa (with a sleeper sofa we did not use). The bedroom was large and we put our pack ‘n play in there for our grandaughter to sleep in. The queen size bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of drawers and a very large closet to put all of our clothes and toddler items with room to store our emptied suitcases too. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo which was great for the baby to use and the tub has low sides which made it easy enough for this grandma to step in and out of. The bathroom vanity is a nice size with large drawers. The kitchen has a new stove, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a regular coffee maker and a new Kuerig! The fridge is a nice size with a filtered water dispenser and the freezer has a fast working ice maker. The kitchen is well stocked with any item you may need and there was some salt and pepper and vegetable oil that came in handy. A small pool is very close and the large heated pool and beach access is a five minute walk. PERFECT
