The property is breathtaking and absolutely beautiful!! We loved the layout of the home, with rooms on both sides of the house. When traveling with two sets of adults, this setup made it feel spacious and private, so we never felt crowded.The home was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking, including a BBQ, which made mealtimes easy and enjoyable. The location couldn’t have been better. A quick one-minute walk to the beach is perfect for families with small kids. We also appreciated that the home provided sand toys, chairs, and umbrellas, making beach days effortless.My only wish is that there were a few extra accommodations for families traveling with non-walking babies. Providing a walker, high chair, or playpen tucked away for guests to use would be helpful. I ended up renting these items from a local company, so it worked out, but it’s something to consider for future guests.Overall, we would definitely visit again, it truly felt like a home away from home!

Fantastic property with amazingly good communication at all times. Convenient to everything needed in Kihei but far enough from the road that unless you head into town it feels like an isolated oasis. Would definitely recommend and return given the opportunity. To top it all off, turtles spotted every day amongst the coral and rocks just to the right of the property!

The expansiveness of the property makes this one a rare gem! The views of the water, the sounds of the sea and the birds, the breezy winds in the palms enhance to the experience of staying on the beach. Morning coffee is a treat watching the day emerge in resplendent colors. The house enables everyone space to enjoy time together as well as find quiet for rest. Indo Lotus is conveniently located within walking distance of coffee spots, food trucks, and local shops. The central island location is ideal for day trips to all parts of the island. Indo Lotus is a beach house dream.

Is it a little more than what you normally have spent? Probably. But, is it really worth it? 100X yes!
This place was everything we ever wanted for our oh so few family vacation.
With our kids spread all over the country, it was our one chance to bribe everyone to join us at this beautiful home.
The home was very spread out with master on one side (a small adjacent room we did not use). Kids stayed in the two bedrooms on the other end of the house. Large living room. Kitchen was a bit narrow, but had a great view to the ocean while cooking. Appliances were new (dishwasher installed during our stay). Dishware, washclothes, towels (including beach towels) all provided.
Honestly, we spent almost our entire time out on the main lanai. Morning coffee and late night card games were the perfect activities on this part of the house with the best views.
The beach was a short walk down a paved path. Most of the time the beach was fairly unpopulated (maybe 20 people). But, at sunset, our part of the beach became very populated. Why? Because the sunsets are not to be missed. We made our Christmas card pictures (and so many others) on the rocky formation that juts into the ocean just past the house. Gorgeous.
Kihei has a few shops for souvenirs, but overall a relatively quiet place. The closest grocery store is just ok. There is a Safeway about 3-4 miles away that is better.
Lastly, the communication with the staff was outstanding. They responded to text, calls and emails rapidly.

Everything you need is located on this property. The house is well stocked and clean. The host was very responsive and prompt when asked for help or recommendations. The bedrooms, patios, and living rooms had comfortable furniture and were spacious. The kitchen had plenty of dishware and pots/pans for cooking at home.
There is a public beach path just past the backyard where you walk a minute to get onto the beach and into the water. You will see people coming and going along this path, so the house is not completely secluded. The host has chairs and sand toys for your use on the beach. The ocean was also relatively calm while we were visiting.
Restraurants and a food truck park are about a ten minute walk from the house and food shopping is less then 10 minutes drive away.
This place was a great getaway and a wonderful place for a home base to explore the entire island or just sunbath and enjoy the ocean.

Had such a great time in Maui staying at the Indo Lotus House! The location is perfect with a great beach right in front. We enjoyed the calm mornings paddle boarding, swimming and kayaking and made sure we were there for sunset every night. Great food options in walking distance or just a short drive. Had 6 adults and 2 teenagers. Everyone had an amazing time!

This house was the ideal location for a family stay on Maui!!! It was comfortable and clean and the kitchen is in the perfect spot! We would make dinner, barbecue our fish and then enjoy our dinner al fresco while watching the sun set! Then finish the night off with a dip in the hottub before having a shower and slipping into bed!! Best!!!!!!

Our family of five had an amazing stay in this spectacular beach front home! It is in the ideal location for lounging in chairs, surfing, sight-seeing, walking along beach paths, and walking to nearby shops and restaurants. The home is everything we hoped for and then some. We hope to return to this paradise where we can watch beautiful sunsets from the hot tub and both fall asleep and wake up to the sound of ocean waves crashing just steps away from the bedroom sliding door.

We've stayed in HI many times, and this is by far the best location we've ever stayed in! The house is directly on the hill over the beach, just a few steps from the ocean. The backyard is fabulous - there's a huge lanai with lots of comfortable seating, a grill which was ideal for beachfront lunch, and plenty of grass for playing tag and frisbee. The layout of the house is ideal for two families (which we were) - both sides had a bedroom with backyard access and a bathroom each. The kitchen was well appointed and anything we needed was found. The home is equipped with beach chairs and umbrellas, and a Boss Frog's shop across the street was a great place to rent SUP and boogie boards. There were several restaurants/cafe's just a short walk away and overall no reason to get in the car and drive anywhere.

This place is fabulous! If what you're looking for is a comfortable home perched right on the edge of the beach with a shady lanai where you can watch the waves roll in, you've come to the right place. A swimmable beach is just steps away. We were a party of 6 -- my husband and I, our 2 adult children and their respective spouses. There was room for everyone to feel private, as well as to gather all together when we wanted to. The house is very clean and well-equipped, and the property managers were helpful and responsive. The only inconvenience was that the sprinkler came on every night and watered the furniture on the lanai, so we had to move it before we went to bed. However, that's a very small price to pay for 10 days in paradise!

We totally enjoyed our 10 days here. Every evening we watched the sunset. The beach is a few steps away. The home is comfortable whether we opened the screens and turned on the fans or closed everything down and enjoyed the air conditioning. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again for a family reunion.

This property was a wonderful location, beautiful view. The set up was great, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, there was even lots of spices to use. Huge hot water tank so no problem with running out of hot water . Lots of seating outside for the family to set outside and enjoy the view and to eat outside. I would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful house with awesome views of the ocean, just steps away from the beach. Lovely covered patio sitting area at the back, who even needs to sit at the beach? Easy walking to restaurants and ABC store. House is adequately stocked with essentials. Would definitely stay here again!
