The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year-round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! The rental was clean and spacious. We were 2 adults and 2 big kids, so the extra beds were very helpful. The kitchen utensils came in handy for cooking our meals. Overall we had a comfortable stay.

This is our third time renting here (different suites). We always enjoy the experience. We would rent a suite closer to the front of this property next time. We will keep Maui Sunset in mind when we return to Maui as the grounds and beach are wonderful. Great spot for whale and sunset watching!

experience was pretty good (was roomy, grandson enjoyed the wall bed, good parking,included some beach mats and chairs) with some minor inconveniences (hot water couldn't sustain 2 showers at the same time, patio lamp not bright enough for late outside dining, no laundry detergent for washer, pretty bad stains on the carpeting and water leaking outside door due to adjacent unit's a/c).

We arrived at the property at 1am after a long day of traveling. Within 5 min of pulling into the condo parking lot a security guard was on scene to check on us. Very helpful in getting us to our unit and describing the local area for getting around. As a family traveling with children it made us feel very safe. Condo was immaculate and had a fantastic layout. Plenty of cooking utensils and silverware. The groundskeepers kept things ship shape without starting so early as to be annoying while on vacation. Lots of amenities to keep you entertained: Tennis, putting green, shuffle board, pool, hot tub, endless grass, & oh yeah the BEACH! Great location to get to tourist activities but not right in the middle of all the crazy busy traffic. Terrific place to go make memories, you won't be disappointed :)

The condo was clean and great for two of us. We were in a x04 room which was too close tot he road and there was road noise. I would not stay in a number under x08 next trip.My only real issue was the incredibly old and noisy AC units especially in the bedroom. I cannot sleep with that kind of racket right over my head. The ceiling fans rotated too slow to leave the AC off this trip.
