One minute walk to beach and in a very busy location. On site parking was convenient. Property manager was in a hurry, but was not intrusive and not needed. View was superb. Furniture dated with stained couch cushions. Washer and dryer very noisy. Old refrigerator. Would be five stars with improved furnishings and appliances. Kitchen was supplied with ample utinsils. This unit will do the trick!

Great check in procedure. Amazing views and excellent for watching Friday night fireworks. Large wide balcony. Large apartment with all that you need. Very clean and good pick up service of rubbish each morning. Great to have own washing machine and dryer. New lifts which were very fast. 2 new split system air con units were excellent, plus ceiling fans. This unit is excellent, and as we have stayed in many apartments over many trips to Honolulu, this would be rated the best by far. No questions we would stay again anytime. We left the pull out bed up all day as this was a large unit with lots of space, and storage cupboards. 2 excellent TV's with Netflix etc, all was exexcellent.

Location, location, location, a great view and close to everything in Waikiki. The condo was spacious and had all of the amenities to start us off. Paul, the property manager was right there to meet and check us in. We were aware in advance that only 1 elevator was working and we were somewhat prepared that it would take extra time to get back and forth from the ground floor to our condo on the 14th floor. The lobby was still under construction so I'm sure there will be more of a resort feel when that is completed. Additionally, we found out that the power would be out the night before we departed due to necessary work on the electricity. This was a hassle as it was very warm while we were there and there would be no air conditioner or lights starting at 11:00 p.m. If you are renting a car I would suggest a compact car if you are parking at the property. The parking is extraordinarily tight. All in all we loved the condo and would definitely be back in the future.

Incredible view, by far the best I have had in Waikiki. Even better than my balcony view i previously had the Hilton Waikiki Village
The room was clean and well stocked with necessities.
Dryer was barely operating. Took multiple cycles to fully dry clothes.
Other than that, property management company were absolutely always at the ready should we require assistance!
I highly recommend booking this property or any other property Captain Cooks Resorts have to offer!

My family came to Honolulu to celebrate my 54th birthday. We chose the Waikiki Shores location because of the amenities, location and proximity to activities and things we wanted to do. The condominium we stayed in was amazing. The pictures on the website didn’t do it justice. It was much nicer in person. The room was extremely clean, our contact Paul at Captain Cook was very accessible and courteous and the cascading views were breathtaking. We literally walked out the back gate and were on the sand of the beach. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

We had a fabulous time in our condo. Paul was extremely helpful,funny, and polite. The views exceeded our expectations. The location was close to local restaurants and shopping. I'd suggest renting a smaller car due to the garage spots being tight. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend this hotel.

This was a beautiful room and location. We enjoyed the fireworks from the balcony. The beach is steps away and the view was stunning. The bed was very comfortable and their were two A/C units which was wonderful. The glass doors to the balcony opened all the way across. We loved this place and hope to stay again sometime. We loved it and would go back again! Very nice, clean and spacious unit for a 1 bedroom/1 bath. Overlooks the water and park on the balcony side, not another tall building close up. We especially liked having the giant sliders open to the ocean breeze. Bed and sofa bed were comfortable, plenty of towels, and beach chairs. Nicely stocked for cooking.
The building is right on the beach, with a great walking path toward marina, and easy walk to all the shops and restaurants the other direction.
Building elevator update project did cause a bit of wait at times, nothing major.
Utilized the across street parking option, which was plenty convenient for us.

It's a good idea to have a car if you expect to leave the property to sightsee, dine, etc. Reserve parking at the time of your booking. Our unit had a dishwasher and washer-dryer which we appreciated.

Nice evening sunsets and breezes.Room was clean comfortable and a perfect location for exploring Waikiki on foot, lounging on the beach, or going for a swim. A foot-wash and shower at the beachfront entrance is super convenient for getting the sand off before hitting the elevator.Kitchen was well equipped and had everything needed for prepping meals before heading to work each day.Be sure to inquire about the parking pass if you are going to have a vehicle, I used both the pass and parked in the very limited first come first serve building parking.Aloha!

There is really nothing I’d change about this location and this particular apartment. The one bathroom made it a bit challenging but nothing remotely inconvenient. Loved the view and property manager was great. I’ll stay here every time I come back.
