This is a well appointed condo in a conveniently located resort with good amenities. The management company was very responsive to our inquiries and we enjoyed our stay a great deal.
There were a few minor maintenance issues consistent with a high turnover vacation rental, which the management company offered to address while we were there.
We chose not to rent a car for our stay and found we could easily walk to groceries and a few restaurants. The bus stops right in front of the resort and is convenient and quick to most places in south Maui. I was disappointed that although there is a staff person at the office all day, they would not store our luggage for a couple of hours before and after check in/out time.
The lanai is small but the view is great. It would be nice to have a light out there for evening dining. There is some traffic noise from Kihei road on the lanai and in the bedroom, but a few steps toward the ocean and all is forgotten.
I really can’t overemphasize how nice it was to walk out to the pool and the beach park from the condo, and some volunteers even grow herbs and veggies to share.

The building is very outdated but the room is very clean. The sheets are old too but you got everything in there. I was surprised there was no shampoo provided though. With liquid restrictions on flights, this should have been part of the basics. The A/C in the room is small and working too hard (Aug). It's loud, but i guess it didn't matter much because we had so much fun snorkling and so tired. Overall, it's a good homebase. Sunset is so beautiful.

We have stayed at this resort several times. The condo could use some love with the kitchen utensils. There was one spatula that was small and partly melted and the tongs don’t work. The tub mixer is set very low so the water is like warm at best. We had to fill a pot of water from the bedroom sink to fill the tub. The resort and amenities are amazing. For the price this condo is fine.

This unit was EXACTLY as advertised. It was fully stalked with everything we could need on our trip down to an umbrella, to-go coffee cups, and a hard sided cooler. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent beach front location, and short walk or very quick drive to rest of Kihei town. Quiet and comfortable stay. The new twin Murphy bed was a huge plus in addition to the comfy sofa bed… our kids both had their own bed and slept so well each night! Easy check in and lots of helpful, professional communication leading up to our stay. Thank you for helping to make our family vacation so great!

Overall great place for family. Lots of things to do beach and food within steps. The beach is a little rocky in some places but great reef in the back that stretches for miles. If you like fly fishing this is the place. Although I never hooked up a bone fish. The place was exactly as described and check in was a breeze. I would definitely come back

Loved the property! Location - close to everything! In addition to walking on the beach and seeing some turtles sunning themselves, the pool was great. Close to shopping and fantastic eateries.

Overall, this unit was great. The unit was clean, and the grounds were meticulously maintained. The beachfront location was a nice spot to watch the sunsets (thus the name Maui Sunset I suppose). Unfortunately, the beach is not a good swimming one. The pool/hot tub were nice, and the access to lawn games was a nice bonus (golf putting, bocce, shuffleboard). Having 3 beds was great (traditional, Murphy and pull-out) though the main one was small. The unit had 4 beach chairs, a high quality umbrella, and nice beach towels, which was great. I would definitely consider staying in this unit again.
A couple minor issues were the air conditioning, despite following the directions exactly, was barely functional, but luckily it was not terribly hot so was not a big impact for us but could be in warmer months. The sink in the bedroom (yes, it's in the bedroom rather than the bathroom!) had the stopper down and had to be manually lifted to let the water drain. And the parking, seemingly like much of Hawaii has really narrow spots. I work in a downtown location and park in a parking garage with what most people around here consider tight spots, but they are WAY bigger than Hawaii standards!

Pros: Great location, awesome pool and right on the beach. Wonderful lanai to enjoy dinner or a glass of wine.
Cons: The pull out sofa had a spring coming through the mattress so my daughter couldn’t sleep on it. Also, the property could use a deep clean.

This condo was nice, well appropriated, clean and quiet. The Maui Sunset Property was very well maintained, safe and clean. The Lanai was fantastic with a pretty good view of the ocean. The beach was very close and had a very long span for walking. Close to great restaurant (Nalu’s) and walkable to food truck park and other shopping as well. We had access to the pool which was very nice and to the fitness center. Parking was ample while we were there. Overall it was a great stay and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Cons: Unit needs a deep clean. It's time to upgrade the dishes, cutlery and small appliances, tiles should be re-grouted. Unit is at the end close to S Kihei Rd so balcony can be noisy.

We had a really awesome and relaxing two weeks in this condo. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some great meals. The bed was comfortable. The property was well kept and family friendly. Overall the experience was fantastic.

The property itself was very grimy and old. My kids immediately wanted to take off their shoes and run around but their feet ended up being all black. We went to look for a swifter but only found a mop which was harder and less convenient to use for a quick sweep. There were also noticeable ants on the kitchen counter. We were not able to leave any food or wet things on the counter without all the ants getting to it which was hard bc our kids had a lot of snacks and pacifiers. In addition there wasn’t enough towels for us to use for shower and beach so we constantly had to wash towels. Thankfully it was super nice to have a laundry and washer unit. The AC and fan were very nice to have throughout the day and the patio was a great space to relax and enjoy meals. Overall, great location but because we had young kids, ideally we preferred a cleaner space for them to lounge.

What a fantastic place to stay! It was nicely equipped and there was nothing we lacked. Our daughter used the fold out twin bed and enjoyed it. The only thing I could suggest to the owners is to supply 2 or 3 hotel style folding luggage racks to place suitcases on instead of the floor. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this unit again.

Beautiful, felt like a home property. Security officer was friendly and attentive day and night on the property so we felt incredibly safe. Pool and spa were great. Beach is beautiful but a few feet into the water it becomes rocky so not great for swimming. But didn’t stop us from exploring the area. Condo was stocked so well for us and we loved having 2 showers!

Maui Sunset 303-B was easy to find with ample parking. The community adhered to quiet hours and everyone was very friendly. The unit itself was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the two full bathrooms.

The location of this property is awesome. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The apartment was clean and well provided. The building could use a bit more care because of the smell in the corridors. One of the sinks was not draining due to a faulty stopper. Trash was not easy to throw out since recycling was full for the entire duration of our stay. Parking spaces are small. The minivan I had rented out, would not leave room around the spot.
Overall, a good stay. Recommending it for others.

Very easy to get to, pleasant neighbors, everyone was kind and respectful. Got to see a lot of the island with little trouble. Comfortable sleeping for three adults.
