Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved our stay at this Island Colony unit. The view from the lanai is breathtaking and inspired us to do the hike up to Diamond Head (which I highly recommend). We were not expecting to use the pool because Waikiki Beach was only 3 blocks away, but we ended up going to the pool and hot tub daily because both are large and very well maintained. The store on the 6th floor and diner in the lobby were also really convenient. The kitchen area is quite small, so not recommended for big-meal production, but was useful in that we did not need to eat out every meal in expensive Waikiki. Alii Beach Rental customer service staff was helpful and quick to reply whenever I contacted them during our stay.

Great place to stay. A short walk to Waikiki beach. Abc stores abound but also close to marketplace. Local bus stop 2 min walk. Can catch that to Walmart. Away from main bustle of downtown Waikiki, but sirens still are frequent. Easy access to hotel, pool quite nice. Local shop on pool deck which was handy. Great to come home each day and see the ocean and Diamond head. Kitchen was very extensive although compact. Had everything you need for pasta, stirfry and simple meals.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in this unit. The views were amazing, especially the sunrise.Location:Everything was easily walkable. I think this place is hard to beat for driving in/out, since it’s right along the canal it avoids most traffic. Best combination of walking and driving. Elevators and parking were easy enough, once we figured it out. We always were able to find parking. The laundry also worked well for us too. Loved that the laundry took credit cards.Size:The unit itself was just about right for 2 people, any more and it would definitely be a tight fit Especially the bathroom. Also be aware if you're 6ft or taller, the shower might be challenging with the sloped ceiling. The showers require a bit more time too, as the water pressure is pretty low. Noise:We never heard much noise from the other units, but the street noise could definitely be pretty loud. It's amazing how often the paramedics are running their sirens. It was generally a combination of regular traffic, motorcycles, or sometimes drunk? folks yelling 2 streets away. The a/c was also really, really loud and did an okay job of cooling the room down. I don't think there's much that can be done about the noise unless you're staying in a hotel right on the beach, as those tend to be set back from the main streets. Privacy wise, I loved that the balcony’s were completely walled. Although, that doesn’t do anything for the workers repairing the balconys and going up and down like window washers. Got caught off guard a couple of times, fortunately not too embarrassing.Despite any of the cons above, we really did enjoy our stay and I’d lean towards staying there again. I just wish they'd upgrade the a/c to a quieter, more powerful unit.

Excellent location/amenities. Within walking distance of essentially everything. Incredible view, my husband and I spent a lot of our downtime in our week in Hawaii sitting on the balcony as the view is amazing. We even got a few workouts at the gym. Will definitely book again if available.

I really enjoyed my trip, the space was perfect for myself. The air conditioner was pretty loud and might disturb some people but I thought of it as more of a white noise ( I have kids hahaha) Everything was clean besides a few spots on the rug which I was okay with as I have kids and don’t mind such small details. There was also a full-size fridge which was super convenient. The location is absolutely perfect and you can’t beat the view! This is not a 5 star hotel but it’s far from a dump, I think it was perfect for what it was

They view was gorgeous. The room is small so if you and your family are larger sized (I’m 5’8”, hubby 6’0”) it’s just a bit tight especially in the bathroom. Also the pool was closed the day we arrived which was such a bummer. That was a big reason I chose this condo and unfortunately we weren’t able to use it. Otherwise the condo was great for what we needed. Thank you.
