There are some positives and negatives to the property. Positives are the location, the grounds are well maintained, the staff is friendly, the condo unit is large, there were some beach essentials(boogy boards, cooler, umbrella, beach chair), the lanai is lovely. Negatives were cleanliness, condo not well maintained, no beach towels, not enough TP(be prepared to purchase your own)

Regarding Maui Kaamole F208
This is our 7th time here in Maui
5th stay in Kihei
1 stay in Napali
1 stay in Maaella
So I guess it can be said we are seasoned Maui visitors
First and for most Maui Kaamole is a beautiful is a beautiful resort I would encourage anyone to stay here with the exception of staying in the Fern kluster F208
Why; because on arrival the property agency that the condo in contracted under called my daughter and asked how check in went our flight was delayed hers was on time and she said the check went ok but to call back as she was not the one who paid for the rental. The agency called back the day before our departure….
1. Upon arrival we had to re wash all the sheets and pillow cases bedding because it was stained and pilled and so miss matched not a matching set to be found … we dealt with it.
The cover blankets were sand covered and stunk we could not used them the first night we then washed this as well disgusting stained and far beyond repair we dealt with that

Lots of room, easy handover and quiet surroundings. Great having 2 pool options and handy BBQs. Loved keypad entry and having use of boogie board if wanted. Only gripe was one of the pull out mattresses was literally unusable but we swapped to the other which was better. Yes decor is a little dated but it was very clean and comfy.

Loved the layout of the condo. Very comfortable and good view. Quiet with respectful neighbors, 2. Beautiful and clean swimming pools and lush shrubbery. Plenty of outdoor gathering places with grills. The decor inside the condo is outdated and could use refreshing to make it look cleaner. Tub needs resurfacing and shower water pressure is weak in both bathrooms.

the place was nice however a little dated and the same price of another unit we stayed at that was much more modern. The AC in the downstairs room sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. The water pressure of the showers definitely something to be desired. Overall an ok place if you are looking for a place to just sleep.

I already wrote an evaluation but obviously it got lost in the ether. This was typical of our stay. We had a blocked toilet and couldn't get in touch with the office (we were left on hold for over an hour and gave up). We tried to fix it ourselves with the very cheap plunger supplied. The dishwasher didn't work (and we were supplied 2 packets of dishwashing soap for a 9-day stay). Every knife in the drawer was dull. There was a large cockroach under the sink. The living room furniture was uncomfortable. The toilet paper was the cheapest you can buy. I tried to email the office about these problems, but the address supplied bounced. One tea towel for a 9 day stay was supplied. The snorkelling equipment was broken. After trying fruitlessly to get in touch with somebody about all these problems(and waste our vacation time), we gave up, washed dishes by hand, and spent most of our time away from the condo. We have stayed at MK condos before and had no problems at all. We won't be returning.

We were very pleased with this condo. Four adults used the space so we didn't need the sofa pull outs. We cooked in most evenings and the kitchen was adequately equipped if you are creative. The lanai was easily large enough for our group. The BBQ and pool were close by. Being close to the boat ramp is even more useful in the summer (our visit was in late February-early March) as more expeditions leave from there than in the winter months. However it was a great place to watch the sunset from with a sun-downer cocktail. Easy drive to Aquarium and Harbor for the two whale watching and snorkeling trips we took. My brother dropped his wallet and we figured it was gone but the next morning we got a call. One of the landscaping workers had found it at the pool. It was returned with all contents present. Many thanks to the trail of honest people that got it back to my brother.

The reason I stayed at Maui Kamaole was the best experience last year to stay with my 6 people family. It was so nice for us as a percents and kids we didn’t want to look for any other property. Maui condo and home llc is doing the great work! However, this time the stay was totally different. It was not anymore kid friendly and family friendly property. Somebody from the property was complaining almost every time we was at the barbecue area ( it was twice) and at the pool. I usually went to the pool with my two oldest boys and every time somebody was complaining. They weren’t screaming or yelling at the pool, they just talk a little bit louder than usual because on the water it is how it is. And every time we got complain it was no later even than 6p.m. We usually go to bed at 7-8. Once, security guy came and said to leave spa at no reason. What? I paid a thousands dollars to stay here and this condo was supposed to be kid and family friendly, but not anymore. If you want to stay here as a couple at just friends (adults) -it is a great place, but be careful, there is another question!!! Unit! They are different and in our latest F208, we had problems with not working conditioner, leaking refregirator ( our food was always watering and covered with ice), leaking washer, not working bulb, some dirty dishes and skillet full of oil and luck of amenities they should provide ( there is the list what is supposed to be in the unit). Again, last year everything was great ( we were in the building D), but this year... If you want to spend hours calling to ask for the maintenance and assistance and get calls and emails from them during your vacation time - go ahead, and rent F208. I did some pictures of dirty dish and refrigerator, but there is no option to upload them here. I sent to them separately, but was told just sorry.

Very large unit, quiet, great location. Garden view but can actually see a bit of the ocean from patio. Dated decor and appliances but overall decent value. Condo facilities (grounds, pools, tennis court) are great.

There were a number of broken or damaged items upon arrival to the unit. The dishwasher did not ever run correctly and did not dissolve the dishwasher tablets. There was only one dish towel in the entire house. A corner of the glass table top in the living room was damaged. A cushion on one of the countertop stools was disconnected from the stool.

Fridge did not cool, had meat and dairy stay luke warm overnight. Ice machine did not work, had to buy ice. One patio chair not usable, 2nd missing seat strap-very old, had to bring indoor chairs out. Beds very hard.Property Manager prompt and attempted to resove. Provided large cooler with ice after 2nd day.

Great Location, Quiet. Across the street from the beach. Condo had boogie boards, chairs, cooler, umbrella for us to use at the beach.
